What a horrible and unwelcoming attitude from the glasses wearing, short white hair, middle aged female guidance counsellor! From the moment she showed up after waiting 2 hours and 15 minutes for her to assist me on enrolling she had the most obnoxious attitude towards me, like she hated the fact that i was in her presence and when I went inside her office she didn't even shut the door, absolutely no confidentiality. Once inside I simply asked that i wanted to enroll for adult school and that it was my first time coming to the location. She then laughed mockingly in my face saying that theres absolutely no way she could help me because I was too late to enroll. Then after feeling insulted, I asked her what courses they offer and if theres anything I can do to attend classes as soon as possible. Once again, she laughed in my face as if I were the village idiot and told me that theres no way she could help me, this so called "Guidance councillor" didn't even attempt to help or give suggestions I could easily tell that all she wanted to do was get rid of me and the "long line" of 4 people who were waiting to speak with her. Lastly, she asked me if I have my highschool transcript, I then tell her that I ordered one online and have been waiting weeks for it to arrive but that I have something similar which are all of my marks, credits and school information neatly organized and stappled together from highschool. As im saying that she immediately interrupts, of course she laughs mockingly again, everyone outside her office notices how I'm being ridiculed and the "councillor" tells me that she wont help me or attend me at all unless i have a transcript. This entity of a person then asks me to follow her outside, once im outside she says "I cant help you, I cant do anything for you without a transcript" in front of everyone she then called up the next person in line. This person who's supposed to be a guide for students literally kicked me out of her office in front of everyone. I have never felt so insulted, hated and unwanted in my entire life, I've had guidance counsellors in the past in highschool, all of them were amazing and inspiring and they helped me as much as they could and even more than i could ever imagine. I cant understand how this obnoxious entity got a job as a guidance counsellor at Monsignor Fraser. She is not worthy of being a counsellor and clearly lacks etiquette. In addition to all this, the only silver lining that I found by myself without her even mentioning or offering, was a sheet which had all of the information and phone numbers about other adult schools. I called 3 schools and managed to speak to 3 guidance counsellors. All of those 3 were much more proffesional, they were patient, compassionate and they even offered to meet up with me for an appointment to see what they could do for me. I really hope the Principal and Vice Principal at Monsignor Fraser read this review and do something about that excuse of a "Guidance Counsellor" they have.
