Talking to a Robot is a pretty lazy way to run your phone system. I’m having troubles finding my answers online, have a toddler at home to tend to and simply want a answer to my questions: your ROBOTS have yet to do so. What kind of solution are you going to find for this? Because it’s ridiculous, not to mention how many jobs you could give instead of using a machine.

Took my G test there. Not only saying these because I passed but the atmosphere was very friendly in the office as well as on the road with Heidi. Heidi was extremely comforting and makes the driver feel very relaxed. A true gem in this industry. Paul who works behind the desk or did when I was there was also extremely inviting and available for any questions or concerns. He also deserves a raise!! If you have your test here have no fear! Everyone's really nice!

Tobias, What a guy, Very calm and very nice. Doesn't make you feel like hes an examiner. He wont make you feel like you are doing a test. Very chill and amazing person. If you happen to do your g2 with him, know he wont fail you for no reason unless you give him one, he will be your friend, he will be your saviour. Good Luck!

I was really scared before Tim came and talked to me. He is very kind and respectful. (I’ve had a very bad experience from Metro East because the evaluator was very rude and didn’t even ask my name and didn’t ask for parallel park, etc. ) I really love this place; they respect people and want to let you have an exam without stress. "Heidi" did a G2 road test for my Son today at the North Bay location and she screamed at my Son numerous times while he took his test and caused him to have elevated blood pressure and chest pains. My Son is an educated driver with two sets of drivers ed classes completed and passed. We have filed a formal complaint.

Staff are very unhelpful. I've been in and out of there 3 times now asking for everything I need to apply, it seems they can't be bothered to give you proper information, everytime I come in with what they said I needed, there's something else they want, can't be bothered to communicate with the client. And trying to get a hold of these people is ridiculous. They don't have an office number anywhere. They're making this process incredibly frustrating and difficult and it really doesn't have to be if they could use their words instead of expecting me to read their minds. Their interpersonal communication skills need massive improvement.

so, let's see. I suppose we'll start with the test administrator deciding that because something isn't done the way she THINKS it's supposed to be done (forget that it's actually done right according to the AZ manual and the actual test) that the driving test administrator is going to falsify results. she normally tests out of New Liskeard. they apparently do things a bit differently up there. when she's informed that we're not taught that way, we're actually taught the way the test requires us to be, her reply is "it doesn't matter, I want it done this way". when asked how we're supposed to know that particular way (again, the fact that it's done right according to the test doesn't factor in with her), her reply is "that's not my problem. your problem is knowing. otherwise, you fail". so, she's changing the provincially set testing procedure to match her own beliefs, and as such issuing negative marks as a result. thus, falsifying test scores. then there's the fact that between the truck and the building, somewhere along the line she LOST MY LICENSE!!! yes, she actually lost my physical driver's license. when I asked about it, she laughed and said "it's no big deal. it's not even the first time this has happened". really professional. she didn't apologise, didn't even show any remorse. to her...ah well, just another day. she completely ignored the fact that this is an excellent way to start the process for identity theft if it were found by an unscrupulous person. then, when it was found was I called? no. no notification at all. I went in to see if they'd found it...the guy behind the counter didn't even remember anything about it. complain about the poor performance, the falsifying of test records, the loss of my license? well, typical. the "supervisor" who claims she's the person who handles ALL the complaints for northern Ontario states that neither agent "recalls this incident". instead, she displays the complete lack of customer service or management skills that you would expect someone to have who supposedly handles all of northern Ontario. this particular office and the New Liskeard drive tester...the height of complete incompetence. oh, and as an update. so, the complaint filed was supposed to be escalated to a district manager, because I knew that the North Bay location wouldn't take it seriously and would just try to sweep it under the carpet. so, what does this supposed supervisor do? closes the case as "resolved". no, sorry chickie. nothing is resolved.

This is the best place to do your road test. Heidi is the examiner and she’s fantastic. I was so nervous at first, but when I start driving she helps me to feel relaxed and be comfortable. I also learned a lot from her advice. The staff inside are friendly and helpful too. Thanks a lot!

i just got my g2 and was so nervous because it meant so much to me, and i’m not saying this is a great test centre because i passed, but because the staff were so nice and my instructor, Tim was literally such a nice person even before we started. he calmed me down and i highly recommended trying to book your test here if you can!!

I had no troubles getting my Manitoba license exchanged for an Ontario driver's license at this location. The process took about ten minutes. Make sure you bring some form of ID as well as your license!

Visited today to get my G license. On entry in to the centre I was greeted by staff and helped immediately. I did my driving test with Heidi and she was awesome to have in my passenger seat! She knew I suffer from anxiety with testing and made me feel super comfortable and at ease. She is an easy going funny lady! The ONE complaint in these reviews about her wasn’t even from the driver themselves but the drivers mother! Trust me when I say, she is great at her job and makes taking a test a fun experience! If you end up with Heidi during your road test, you are lucky! All of the staff was very friendly! Thank you all so much!

Today I had a road test in north bay, Ontario where the driver teacher person named Brian something. Anyways, the only thing that he dinged me on was i was a little slow with moving into an intersection on a green turning light. He called it a traffic violation. ok......So where im getting at is if you feel that you are not perfect (which no one is) do not go to these people for a road test.

On multiple dealings with this DriveTest location, dealt with unprofessionalism. First time was when I had my drive test to obtain a G license. Overall the drive went well but my examiner (I believe her name was Sandy) claimed that I nearly hit a pedestrian (marked as dangerous action) during the test and caused a fail on otherwise nearly flawless road test. The alleged location was in the downtown core of North Bay where I was making a right hand turn on to Main Street. The pedestrian was an older gentleman walking at a slow pace, when I made my turn he was two steps off the curb at the opposite end of the intersection. It is noted that he had to cross two full lanes of traffic to reach the lane that I was turning in. This maneuver was neither dangerous nor illegal, but my examiner pointed and yelled "pedestrian!" despite the fact that he was around 20 feet from the vehicle. Following the exam the examiner indicated that I had failed and the reason for it, I immediately protested the decision. According to Sandy, the pedestrian was not on the other side of the intersection but rather at the bumper of my car. I'm sorry but if that was the case I would have hit him if he was in fact where you were claiming he was. Following a quick exchange Sandy shouted "I'm not arguing with you!", left the vehicle and slammed the door behind her (thank you for that). Ultimately it was not worth fighting over so I ended up doing the test again but at the Walkley location in Ottawa, and passed with flying colors. Reason why I did not challenge further was that it was a he said she said situation with no proof. Ultimately it is a good idea to have a dash cam in the vehicle, particularly when conducting a road test with people trying to scam you. Second instance came a year later when my girlfriend at the time had a poor experience with them. She was moving from Quebec on a full license and switching to Ontario. When she returned home she had informed me that they wouldn't give her the G license and had to start from G1. I'm sorry but this should have been like an address change. When she had tried to get an explanation the location's manager, I believe his name was Cousineau, gave her attitude and acted very unprofessionally. Including grunting and forming well thought out sentences like "yeah, uh huh, uh huh, yeah, uh". The following day I gave him a call to discuss the matter. Needless to say he was unapologetic with his conduct and offered no explanation on the decision. When he indicated that he would not discuss the matter with me I had indicated, "ok then I'm going to report you". His response was simply "you go right ahead, do what you got to do" giving a strong impression that he did not care on this matter and there would be no accountability whatsoever. When indicating why I was escalating the matter he resorted to his patented "yeah, uh huh, uh, uh huh, yeah". Ok we're not Neanderthals anymore speak with complete sentences!!! The matter was escalated to the Regional Manager, all we got was that she doesn't like it when he speaks to customers in this manner (I guess this is very common with this guy) and that she'll talk to him. 100% do not recommend.

I want to thank all the staff of the center, great job !!! Very friendly and helpful staff. Especially Examiner Heidi, she's just a brilliant !!! No queues and rudeness like in Toronto and the surrounding area! It sounds trite, but just try to relax before the driving test, the employees of the center are not your enemies, they have no goal to harm you, and the sooner you understand this, the more smoothly your test will pass !!! RACIST! RUDE Staff My bf made an appointment for his full G test. He has been waiting for a month, and today he offs work and went there in the morning to take the test. The staff there was so rude , they said they canceled my bf’s appointment and already sent him an email but we didn’t receive anything. We asked for a reason why the appointment was canceled while other people still can take the test and the staff kept saying that they don’t know. Everything will be ok if they gave us a reason but they didn’t . Waste our time

After a year of rebooking and waiting for the opening for the test I had such a wonderful experience today, very warm and polite staff. I stopped being nervous right after instructor started talking with me, that talk gave me more confidence and I started to be less sceptical and got more hope. Have to give 48 hours notice to cancel driving test but when I walk in half hour before test time they tell me my test is canceled. No notice and told nothing they can do about it. Missing more work because of another screw up on their part not to mention the $600 I'm out in fuel and missed work, then there is the $90 test gee that I loose because THEY canceled my test less than 48 hours before test time. When I asked for manager I was told nothing can be done please leave
