DESCRIPTION

You will see all the feddbacks of people like you who buy the services of Balmoral Hall School (School) in the area of Kildonan (Canada).

Nowadays the firm has a score of 3.6 stars over 5 and that rating was based on 32 reviews.

As you can see the average of ratings is really high, and it is based on a very high number of opinions, so we can be quite sure that the assessment is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are satisfied with the service, it works.

You know that we do not usually bother to set feddbacks when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...

First, I would like to respond to those negative reviews that have been posted. It seems as some people have difficulty reading contract agreements. The cost and tuition refund policy are clearly spelled out in the Enrolment Agreement. Yes, there is a $400.00 non-refundable deposit, which is standard practice for any private school and post-secondary institutions. The fee is to ensure the parent(s) are committed to enrolling their child, which then tentatively reserves the spot and the school can adequately fill all the vacancies that they have for that grade. There are no fees for taking a tour of their facilities or for attending interviews. We enrolled our youngest daughter at BH for nine (9) years and she graduated this past June. It was the best decision we could have ever made. The staff are excellent and dedicated to seeing that your daughter excels in her chosen passion and encourages them to push past their personal comfort zones to explore what lies beyond. Our daughter went from a shy, introverted student, to a confident and capable young woman intent on making a name for herself in the video gaming industry. The expanding BH Intern Partnership program allowed her to gain valuable work experience in computer 3D design modelling and programming to assist her in determining if this was a career path that she would want to pursue. The compulsory Debate classes that she took in Middle and Senior school provided her with the confidence to speak in public and be successful in employment interviews. She became the spokesperson for BH's STEAM program and spoke to various groups of parents, investors and board members regarding the importance of girls entering the non-traditional field of science, technology, engineering, arts and math. She also was given the opportunity to write and record a radio commercial promoting the BH STEAM program for an Open House at the school. Along the way, she has also developed important life skills and friendships with her fellow students and her teachers that will continue as part of being a BH Alumnae.

Everyone should be careful about this school. They will find various reasons not to refund your tuition! This is totally unreasonable!Schools should pay attention to education rather than money!

I was completely disappointed with this school. There is an invisible agreement was signed when you pay the application fee, and you still be charged at least 40% of your tuition fee after you cancelled your application. When you called, the person in charge of the school is arrogant and rude, they refused any communication. All they did is keep billing you. Be careful, they even recorded your credit card information and then charge you without your consent. Ashamed of you, Balmoral Hall School! I never want heard this name again!

I attended this school from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12, and my 3 year old daughter is now in her second year of the childcare program. I cannot say enough positive things about our experiences at BH, as a student myself and now as parents of the school. I cannot wait until our younger daughter turns 2 so she can start at BH too!

Balmoral Hall is a school unlike any other. My daughter attended BH in the first year of their 3-year old childcare program and for the next 14 years our family made a deliberate and wonderful decision to choose BH. The entire staff are caring and skilled professionals who form a community of exceptional learning. BH prepared my daughter for life beyond grade 12 and while we're sad to no longer be a daily part of the community, we - as a family - cherish and are grateful for the BH experience and would highly recommend to all. BH is the best place for girls … and their families.

I attended this school for 10 years and it was the best experience ever!

Balmoral Hall deserve a 5/5 score in reviews. My two daughters were there for three years and then we left Canada for work purpose, or else they will be there until they graduate. My two daughters had the best experince in everything not just education! This place was a second home for my kids. They tookcare of them, they were family. Winnipeg is lucky to have only girls school, this is special. My kids remember all the good times they had in BH and they wish to go back to it. If in any chance we went back to Canada we will choose Winnipeg to live in because they have BH. BH is not for money only! If BH have certain rules to follow and if the family took their kids all of suden they do have regulations and certain amount of money it should be paid! This does Not mean that they are their for money. Teachers are wonderful. Curriculum is very good. Now my kids are in U.S.A schools and their performance is good. Thanks to BH which tried hard to meet International levels not only regional. To me reviews are very important to evaluate schools and I always read them before enrolling my kids in it. I feel that this is Bias to evaluate a whole school performance based on a single situation! BH deserve an excellent evaluation. Never evaluate someone on only a single interaction! Regarding BH being expensive! Now I am in USA and there are 20 private schools all of them are 40%more tham BH. Then I knew that BH was not an expensive school!

Be careful about Balmoral Hall School Tuition Fee Scam! This is what happened: We considered Balmoral hall with also other schools late February this year, we’ve been asked to pay non-refundable $4k deposit (2k enrolment, 2k partial tuition)which describe on the school website(attached). In April we decided to attend another school and contact BH to withdraw. The shocking fact is BH’s say you ‘agreed’ on their ‘policy’, which once a new student enrolled, parents are asked to pay minimum of 40% tuition in addition to the 4k, regardless if you withdraw the day after or close the school open. which combined to a total of $8,600. When we questions about the policy, they refuse to help or answer. The school Head Joanne Kamins and Business director Rachel Niessen have been playing football with us, refuse to talk instead keep sending bills/charge interest to you, they even charge your credit card without our consent! compare to similar private schools such as SJR, they made the policy very clear and reasonable. We do have an overall good impression at BH, but the current management team is bad and only money focused and discriminate new immigrants, Shame on you BH!

It is shocked that Balmoral Hall school is not for education, but for money. BH forced applicants agree to all agreement though the internet. The agreement you have not seen before with your "so-call" signature. The signature on the the "agreement" is not your signature, but only a print name. However, the school said that you have already confirm and agree the “agreement". I wonder that only by leaving the "parent name" on the Internet means people agree with all the agreements. The premise is the applicants do not know the content of the agreement.

They has the worst refund policy ever!1. Complete the application form online(NOT including interview)= you have to pay $175! 2. Go to interview = you have to pay $4000(Non-refundable fee)! 3. If you get the offer but change your mind before the term begin, you have to pay at least 40% tuition fee for the whole year!!! That means you have to pay at least $4000 + $4600 = $8600 for an interview!!!
