Freezing rain and heavy snow in the clarington area causing some white out conditions. Let's see if they care about the children's safety today but knowing them probably not. In my area it is complete white out conditions I pray that no one gets hurt because the buses are not canceled. They should really take in to consideration that if there is a weather warning or alert for an area to not send children to school. Even the teachers believe they should have called it for the children's safety I am also in the clarington area. Stsco is about to do it again making kids stand at bus stops in -20 or more weather conditions with an extreme cold warning in affect meaning children can get hypothermia and or frostbite. It is now in they are sending children to school in hypothermic weather conditions except the KPR students because of strikes, it also has a windchill feel of -30.

Actually a useless company. I was contacted by my school after STSCO found a bus route for me. I’m waiting outside and my bus driver looks at me and passes right by. I have a class that is so short that if I even miss two days I automatically fail. I tried to click your Contact Us page and it didn’t exist. Completely and utterly irresponsible.

There is this one bus driver iv been having issues with for the last two school seasons. Last year she was told by me and the bus company not to park on the road as it blocks drive ways and the flow of traffic going down Barnard. She stopped parking there last year for the rest of the year after third complaint to the STO bus company. First day of this 2018 school season she is blocking my drive way once again i go ant tell her you have been told by me and your employer not to park here. Her response " I don't care what they said i called the cops". Funny how the rules don't apply to bus drivers especially when theirs more then enough room to park at the park 200 m down the road out of everyone's way, A safer Place for a Bus to be that's waiting for there run to start. Other bus drivers Park there as they have enough sense to understand anywhere on the street is unsafe and disrespectful to home owners.

Im a senior student at one of the schools in the region they operate in. Recently i have noticed that they have been extremely inconsistent with there choices. Schools around me are cancelled and the news is issueing warnings but that isent a good enough reason to cancel the buses? I look on there website and no matter what the area that they are based in is always cancelled even if there is worse conditions somewhere else. Please be better in the future with the safety of your students.

I know this is a lot to ask for, but can you post your cancellations earlier? I'm getting them 10 minutes before I have to leave, and they are so unpredictable! Buses will run in -24c, oh but not in -17c!

I find that they should cancel bussing on certain days. It is not safe for us to get to school. I have been in delayed buses on says that should have been snowdays and seen first hand broken down buses becsuse of conditions. They seriously need to call snowdays more often. They cancel bussing for one school but the other one in the same area still has busses running. Makes no sense. It is a whiteout where I live but buses are still running. This is not safe

Most of you are so harsh. There is only a few that respect stsco and know what is involved with getting your child to school. Perhaps you need to drive your children to school yourself and see how that works for you. Can you not be organized ahead of time for a bus cancellation or a snow day. There is a reason why there is always a need for bus drivers. The children are impossible, rude and disrespect bus drivers. Our buses are always on time but if they aren't they are coming,cool your jets or drive your children to school. You are suppose to be an adult, act like it. Respect stsco and their drivers.

Worst bus service. The buses are cancelled multiple days per week in the winter. Whether there is snow, cold, fog, or rain. Doesn’t matter if there is or not but if the weatherman suggests a chance then kids are on their own. If we were in Quebec, NFLD, Manitoba or Alberta these busses would be parked all winter. Find some experienced drivers, because we live in Canada.

This is the worst busing I have ever seen. They will cancel the buses if they even here of a 1 ice pellet is suppose to drop later in the day. Since they cancelled the buses today im now missing out on my basketball tournament and have to wait till Tuesday. Which means im going to miss more school and since im in IB that's really bad. Honestly the roads aren't bad they are just really lazy.

Last year when there were unsafe conditions buses got cancelled. Its pretty sad when parents complain that they're taking to many days off because they're losing their "free daycare". And then you go to the extreme and don't cancel any when it really badly should. Should not be risking kids lives for this stupidity.

Absolutely awful. I do not understand how this company has the contract for so many schoole. The buses are cancelled more then they run. My kids bus...easily cancelled 50% of the time. Leaving choice of disrupting kids school or parenrs work. I know there is a bus driver shortage. Perhaps you pay better or offer vetter benefits or better working conditions and maybe staff shortage wouldnt be such a problem

Constantly make the wrong calls as to when snow days should be given. They'll cancel busses in Peterborough just because they themselves can see the weather but often don't even care to look and realize the rest of the area they cover is having the same or worse conditions

All of this snow in winter caused the buses to be cancelled again today. Why even bother putting snow tires on. Poor kids in Quebec and Alberta must not even get an education with all of that snow

This bus company decided to change start times for a school because they articulate they need to cut costs, they are short bus drivers, and they blame infrastructure of roads for delays. NOW IT WILL COST THEM TWICE AS MUCH for Gas and Maintenance of the buses. They want to have seperate bus runs for each school. Thanks for saving our environment! Terrible experience with my child using their services and very little effort made to resolve the issue from a customer service perspective. Very disorganized and no regard for the child's safety or to take the time to train their drivers.

STSCO gets a lot of negative feedback. They look out for the safety of students at all times, and are responsible for creating safe, accessible routes and stops. I recently called about my child's bus service and was shocked to find out that they are not a bus company, but the transportation department for our local school board.

For no explained reason, my 8 year old daughter has been refused to ride the bus. She has been taking the same bus, going to the same school and living at the same address since kindergarten.. After trying to call to discuss and correct the issue I was met with a terrible customer service attitude and told that my request will be processed in a week. No customer service here. It's dead. You will not get to speak with anyone other than a call agent because they will refuse to transfer you anywhere else, they will tell you that an e-mail will be sent and someone will follow up with you. Nobody will. Waited a week to hear from someone. Called back and was told that an e-mail will be sent and somebody will follow up. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, the agent hung up. I called back, was on hold again for 15 minutes (I was 4th in line), was told the same line over and over. Don't waste your time calling these people, call the school board and make a complaint.
