This school is a perfect example of what is currently wrong with Catholicism in today's times. They do not practice what they preach & are quick to label and judge. One star is too generous. Parents beware.

St. Luke's is the best school children could attend. It is a prime example of a tight knit community coming together, always willing to help each other and teaching the children good core values and morals. In response to the negative comment about it being a Catholic school and not living up to those expectations, that could not be farther from the truth. Every member of staff and the students learn the values that Catholics and Christians follow, and they display them daily with grace and courtesy. All of the kids look out for each other and treat each other and their leaders with respect, and if they don't, they are disciplined, forgiven and move forward. I feel safe knowing that my children are in good hands with people I trust. If the people who write negative comments don't realize this than maybe they should get to know the people in the school and their community better.

I’ve got nothing but praise for all the staff and teachers at St Luke’s. We’ve always been treated fairly and when issues have arisen they were always dealt with quickly and appropriately. The kids for the most part are all very friendly and they all say hello, waive or high five when they see each other at school (big kids being friendly to the little kids). Our oldest broke his leg this school year (at home). The school put in place a teacher to come to our house during the 5-6 weeks he was unable to attend school so he wouldn’t fall behind. During this time, open lines of communication were kept with his classroom teacher and the principal. When he was able to start returning to school, we were able to start with a few hours a day and increased the time as he was able to tolerate. The teachers and support staff worked with us and our son to ensure he was safe. We are not Catholic, however, when I was phoning around to schools prior to enrolling our first into JK, I knew that St Luke’s was the school for us. I’m so happy we went with my gut feeling. The staff at this little country school knows each and every student by name and is teaching more than just book work to our children.

St Luke's school is an amazing school!! Both of my daughters struggled at the beginning of JK- but only for a short period of time due to the caring staff and students. The teachers, principal and secretary know all of the kids names - and kids up to grade 8 will go out of their way to say hi to my kids and make them feel welcome and comfortable. My husband attended St Luke almost 30 years ago and the school has maintained its charm and personable staff all these years. I was very happy with our choice to send our kids here.

This school is so wonderful. We are so lucky to have our children attend this school in such a warm and inviting community! From my daughter’s first day of JK I have never been worried about a thing. The lines of communication are always open and everyone knows each other and their families on a personal level. It is a hub for children in our community to learn and grow together. We are still new to the school system but have never had any issues or concerns, only praise, for this facility and their lovely and capable staff.
