All 4 of my kids are in the programs at Canadian Freestyle Karate. My oldest has been a member here for 9 years. We have found the experience here to be extremely positive for even my most introverted child. The staff are friendly, supportive, and kind, without forgetting that some discipline is expected in this environment. I highly recommend Canadian Freestyle Karate.

My daughter has been training at Canadian freestyle karate now for about 10 months. The karate and self-defence program is very effective and well put together. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and approachable. It's a fun school to be a part of, while at the same time teaches practical and effective self-defence. Great confidence booster too.

My grandson loves the after school program. I love the fact he not only getting Karate classes and he has awesome help with some of his homework as well. This karate program differs from others as the kids are required to show respect, self discipline and respect at home and school. In order to advance to the next belt level paperwork must be signed by a parent and their teacher at school. I love this aspect as my son must demonstrate in his life away from the dojo that he deserves to earn stripes and advance to the next level.

Best karate club in Peterborough! Both of my daughters (5 and 7) just started at the end of the summer. They really didn't have much interest in any sports other than gymnastics and I really wanted to find something that peaked their interest but also taught them some valuable skills in every day life. In just a few short months, they both have learned martial art skills but have also learned about the value of respect for others and confidence in themselves. Sensei Deana and Sensei Ian are both excellent with the kids and my girls love going to the karate classes. I couldn't have picked a better environment for my children to learn that they can do anything they set their minds too. I highly recommend the program for anyone thinking of signing up their little ones for martial arts!

Amazing martial arts club! My daughter was showing signs of emotional distress caused by couple kids in her class . I was really relieved to see the change on her attitude and emotions after only a couple months of self defense classes.
