Oxford School is a fine school. It offers classes from Grades 1-12, for english, and french. A band and orchaestra program (Gr. 5-9 i think). A turn off I could immediately think of, is the fact that the school may not be up to the cleanliness of other schools; lacking in some rooms, and the fact that the school is old in general. Education, and student experiences depend on the year, the teachers, and the students, so I won’t detail my take. Don’t take this review for certain, as always, do your research, and call the school for more details. (website: oxf.hrce.ca)

The staff at the musical instrument rental are friendly and helpful. Their prices are more than reasonable. Despite it was in October when the school string program had begun, there were still violins available for rental and good ones, too.

I have worked here before as a substitute teacher and I will definitely not be coming back again. The students behaviour was just inexcusable and when it was brought to the staffs attention, my reasonable concerns were ignored. The teachers at the school do the bare minimum and it really shows. I met a couple of the teachers on the french side, and although I was teaching on the other side of the building, they tried their best to greet me & welcome me to the school. I’d rate this school 1 star but I gave extra points for the kind french teachers.

I just graduated from oxford and I can singlehandely say it's the worst school. The secretary is so old and dusty I was suprised to see her still breathing today! Ms Thompson is her name btw. Being welcomed by her is like being welcomed to hell, which in fact what oxford is. Don't even get me started on the ignorant, oblivious Mr Reardon. Last year I was deprived on the thing I worked most for, the grade nine trip two days before we were leaving so I would most definitely NOT recommend this prejudice, hateful, revolting, awful, nasty insufferable school. Show your children you love them and want a great future by sending them to a much better school, take this from my experience as a student, hope this helps :-)
