Was interested and wanted to visit the campus to see what it was like. We sat at a picnic table and were talking at a low volume, had containers and a book. Someone came out of the building and chastised us for sitting at a picnic table - told us we were trespassing (haven't seen a single sign among the grounds), in the middle of the weekday, and used sarcastic language, claimed to us that it was their picnic bench, and was overall outright disrespectful. Will not be visiting this beautiful area on account of this terrible member of staff. If this is what a religious school is, that will not make anyone interested in joining the school. Especially if actual members of the school try to sit at a picnic bench and continuously get chastised by someone inside. It was a highly unusual circumstance, but thought that I would review the area to forewarn any others interested in the beauty of the school, to think twice.

Resistance: being students of any college/university, I know people stayed there and suffered a lot. Be careful before moving in.

From all my experiences with this institution, it's a CLASS ACT: well run, well organized, it supports its employees and offers a good, solid religious education for a reasonable price. Has a DELIGHTFUL organ as well: new, but in a place with great acoustics: lots of great concerts!! The architecture and layout of the campus are excellent as well.

Participated in a Camino Nova Scotia week long pilgrimage sponsored by AST. Very well organized. A transformative experience in terms of having time to think and reflect on many subjects as you walk for 4 to 6 hrs for 5 days along the beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia. Nicole, our spiritual leader and her two staff members provided great hospitality and care as we journeyed from Timberlea to Lunenburg.
