We sat in our car and watched a dog having the best time of its life in the water, just off the public beach. Such entertainment coupled with the beautiful scenery and gorgeous weather made a very pleasant outing for my husband and me.

Beautiful, clear water beach. Shallow water with lifeguards on duty. You can swim out to the deep where there is a huge boulder witch is perfect for jumping and diving off! Also, there is a playground for added entertainment for the little ones.

Swimming to the Rock is a right of passage. If you haven't been to the Rock you shouldn't ever refer to yourself as an "Elliot Laker"

A wonderfull beach for locals and tourists alike.Hosts alot of the towns celebrations each year. And its one one of the best spots on the lake to veiw the island,that has a rich history in native american culture.

What a beautiful place in the heart of the city, the beach is clean and the garden is so green and clean with ample of benches to sit and relax. This is one of the best to go place in town. Love to be here

My son and I went to the Elliot Lake Winterfest and he had alot of fun on the horse and sleigh and on the dog sled team as well. They had alot of volunteers to make this a success. Bonfires and roasted marshmallows. Place to attend in March

Even tho we didn't take any pictures. Our experience at the beach was very warming. Also a wheelchair ramp where someone who is in wheelchair can go swimming. Very awesome

Beautiful beach with a scenic view. Loved the fact that lifeguards were on hand for the kids. The park is right on the beach which looks to be groomed regularly.

Spruce Beach is a place I have swam for almost 30 years now. I was a little disappointed to see the dock is gone. The buoys have been updated but the swimming area is probably smaller by 25% now. My daughter and I swam to the rock to jump off a few times. It's a great place to bring the family. A true gem in the city.

What a peaceful and clean beach. It has washrooms, a playground, and many shaded areas for picnics. Excellent for families with young kids.

Beautiful beach,clean,not pet friendly however almost anyone with pet goes there early in the morning to let the pooch cool down. Sandy beach and crystal clear water that's look warm is what I and my pupps look forward to every morning when we are there...

Beautiful beach. Nice grassy areas with shaded areas. Water drops off gradually with buoyed area. Lifeguards in the summer. Washrooms in the summer. Nice park for kids.
