Working here was fun sometimes, however the work environment was toxic and had a large clique and if you were not part of this group you were excluded and it was not a fun experience. I used to love coming here as a child and was very excited when I got the job, however these expectations of a healthy work environment last as I was met with the true reality of this toxic work environment. EDIT: First, this actually was not my first full time job and second : I never received an invite to this staff committee that you described. I used to love going to camp here but this work environment is not sustainable for a good mental health.

I'm so pleased with our experience at the day camp in Kimberley. Thank you to Blue Lake and the Columbia Outdoor School for adapting and providing an option for working parents during the pandemic. Our daughter had so much fun with "Boots' and "Glitch". Highly recommend!

My 2 boys loved the spring camp and now I am trying to figure out if I can afford another week in Aug for them both! Lol.1st world problems!!????

My family just spent 4 days at the Blue Lake Family Camp (their response to covid-19). It was incredible! We didn't want to leave. My 8 year old son w(has been to Disneyland, Mexico, Dr. Seuss cruise ship, etc) said it was the best time of his life! There was a great balance between provided programing (treasure hunt, canoe lesson, etc) and free time. They catered to our specific dietary requirements and amazingly I didn't get glutened/sick even once! Thank you to Bubbles and Fozzi for an amazing time ????

We just had our Wedding at Blue Lake. It was amazing. We had our own personal lake and forrest to ourselves and our guests. At first we where going to do some of the catering ourselves but decided against it. The Chef there was awsome and so accommodating. Fozzy and Mama bear where so warm and welcoming. They took care of everything! Pefect for a weekend to disconnect and enjoy our family. Tricia in the office was so great to deal with and answered all of our questions and always took time out for a quick phone call. I would highly recommend having a wedding or event there!
