If you have always wanted to fly a plane but haven't been able to afford it Ultralight flying is the way to go, Airspeed High is absolutely wonderful, very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone! Andreas is a wonderful teacher, very good at explaining the correct way to do things and helping you retain them.

As a recently minted Cessna pilot I was looking to lower my costs and try ultralights. After checking out several operators I found Andreas and could not be happier, his professionalism and attention to detail is better than normally found in GA flight schools. The added bonus of flying from a small, friendly airpark like Courtenay should not be overlooked. It is a much calmer experience than flying from a busy, towered airport! Beware, not all ultralight schools are created equally and this one is by far the best that I have come across, so much so that I make regular trips from the mainland! Lastly Andreas keeps his Challenger aircraft in much better condition than is required by the regs!

Andreas is a really great Guy! First time flying a micro plane by myself and it was amazing! Really looking forward to attend flight school! If you are visiting Vancouver Island you totally have to go there and take a beautiful flight over the island.
