Fortnite dance
Nice teachers and great atmosphere to learn except for few classes. I hope those teachers are not still with the school now.
Good school for IB
Anyone that goes to this school is going to have long term clinical depression.
Horrible school. Now have freshman years saying that they "dm shordies that attend wsc." bad influence for CIS members like Ibad Rehman tbh
Better than Roblox Thirsk Scrapyard and Vile Fowler.

This is the definition of a GOOD High School
The teachers are a hit or miss and the building itself is intimidating with the lack of big windows. Great people though! Material is well thought out. update: idk guys our future is looking kinda bleek
the kids here all so arrogent and stupid >:( I don't go here but I just know it
just made my science teacher cry in the middle of class #victoryroyale
Amazing Fortnite Academy. Learned so much here
Awful high school
victory royale haha yes!
sports at churchill are awesome. GO DOGS
Great school, and Oborn is the best chem teacher on this side of the country, no one could teach chemistry as well as he did.
I asked my mum for money to buy skins on fortnite, but she said i have to at least get a victory royale to prove i am not mentally disabled, so now i am enrolled in churchill to improve my skill.
When I was there 2003+, the school had great teachers. I cannot speak for how it is now. But I hope they still have the great enthusiasm for teaching!
It’s chill. I’d say It’s super hard but I don’t rly have anything to compare it to. Honestly I’d say it’s the best school I’ve ever gone relative to other schools I’ve gone to in the past but it’s a depressingly low bar. I love my guidance counsellor tho, she’s rly nice and has been helping me through my personal challenges and actually engages when I share my thoughts.
Propagates way too much
10/10 would bang if i could
I liked it when it was the Fortnite academy. Unfortunate.
Past 3 years have been a mess of emotional breakdowns, panic attacks and crazy weekends with friends. I love this school and it’s teachers, it may be hard but it prepares you for life????
i flossed while my teacher wasnt watching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VICTORY ROYALE
(Translated) ahhhhhh (Original) ahhhhhh
got me the fortnite borger royale special now that was epic B) B) B)
i played among us all foods class and got a 90 #epicwin
my dad beats me
People from SWC are quite arrogant and come off as incoherent fools. People from Churchill use ad hominem arguments to better their own self image, and damage the image of other schools, without plausible evidence. Regardless of what the trend is of ill informed attacks on Thirsk, SWC is not the perfect school some people may see from the reviews.
I don’t even play fortnite but I know for sho this is the best fortnite academy there is
Great school What it means: Kappa is a starting point for anyone trying to enter and understand Twitch culture, according to Caldwell. The emote is based on former Justin.TV employee, Josh DeSeno, who was charged with setting up the chat client. People mainly use or spam Kappa as a way of carrying out a sarcastic reply to something happening on stream. “It is the kind of quintessential emote,” Caldwell said. “It might get briefly taken over by Trihard or ForsenE or another popular emote, but it remains at the top consistently.
I thought Sir Winston Churchill High School was a very good high school experience and it definitely prepared me for university. I love this school
I fatred in calss i thik its were preattii fanny
I said I played PUBG and got dogpiled and beaten by all the students in my class and teacher. Now the entire students and faculty call me "100ms man." Would recommend this school if you like being bullied.
lol i hate this school i have depression bc of it
Even though it’s close to my old school I don’t want to go. I know nothing about it, I want to go to my parents school, and it’s just going to be the same old area.
Playing squads are trash. Solos I always get the Victory Royal
lol sir winston churchill fortnite academy
One of the best high school for dedicated students who are willing to accept hard work.
Amazing high school. One of the best in the city. It has an amazing crowd of people studying there specially the IB crowd. The teachers are amazing and really dedicated to their subject and teaching. Although the school can get crowded it rarely takes away from the experience. This school has a reputation of excellence and it will make you excellent
Horrible, Horrible, Horrible school. Wouldn't send my worst enemy there.
this school is legendary....like apex legendary
I’m not going to that school in a long time but my friend said there was a fire and burnt or something and he said it’s haunted pls tell if it’s true
Major depressive disorder (MDD), also known simply as depression, is a mental disorder[9] characterized by at least two weeks of pervasive low mood, low self-esteem, and loss of interest or pleasure in normally enjoyable activities. Those affected may also occasionally have delusions or hallucinations.[1] Introduced by a group of US clinicians in the mid-1970s,[10] the term was adopted by the American Psychiatric Association for this symptom cluster under mood disorders in the 1980 version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-III) classification, and has become widely used since. The diagnosis of major depressive disorder is based on the person's reported experiences and a mental status examination.[11] There is no laboratory test for the disorder, but testing may be done to rule out physical conditions that can cause similar symptoms.[11] The most common time of onset is in a person's 20s,[3][4] with females affected about twice as often as males.[4] The course of the disorder varies widely, from one episode lasting months to a lifelong disorder with recurrent major depressive episodes. Those with major depressive disorder are typically treated with psychotherapy and antidepressant medication.[1] Medication appears to be effective, but the effect may only be significant in the most severely depressed.[12][13] Hospitalization (which may be involuntary) may be necessary in cases with associated self-neglect or a significant risk of harm to self or others. Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) may be considered if other measures are not effective.[1] Major depressive disorder is believed to be caused by a combination of genetic, environmental, and psychological factors,[1] with about 40% of the risk being genetic.[5] Risk factors include a family history of the condition, major life changes, certain medications, chronic health problems, and substance use disorders.[1][5] It can negatively affect a person's personal life, work life, or education as well as sleeping, eating habits, and general health.[1][5] Major depressive disorder affected approximately 163 million people (2% of the world's population) in 2017.[8] The percentage of people who are affected at one point in their life varies from 7% in Japan to 21% in France.[4] Lifetime rates are higher in the developed world (15%) compared to the developing world (11%).[4] The disorder causes the second-most years lived with disability, after lower back pain.[14] GO bulldogs!
One of the worst highschools ever. Their guidance counselling is so bad they do not help you with anything. They either say they do not recommend it or they just say no. The kids here are trash too
Building feels and looks like an 8 year old's base in fortnite. Claustrophobic use of brick. The golden scar and silenced scar is hidden in financial management class with Ms. Rodriguez. The doubled barreled is only unlocked when one disobeys Mr. Rajan. Heavy sniper is only gifted to you when you don't do hw in Ms. Ohama's class.
This is a great high school, one of the best in the city. The students are very determined and goal-orientated (especially IB students) which is a great environment to study in as it encourages all to work hard and excel.
send your kid here if you hate them.
Sir Winston Churchill is an excellent school for people who want to work hard and be challenged. The harder they work, the more success they experience. Is it important to maintain a healthy balance with stress levels and good organization along with time management are key. My first year at the school was awesome. However, I believe that if I had participated in school more and had taken on the challenges, things would have been exhilarating! :D
IB program is great. It helped me a lot in University. Teachers are great. Mrs. Giannoulis is smoking. Girls at school are not super hot like other schools but doable. Sports is OK but not as good as Aberheart.
I love Fortnite Burger
Wanna actually learn stuff? This isn't a bad place. Wanna slack and do nothing but still pass? It'll be harder here. Expect to get lowered via in class marks and raised via diploma marks. Some teachers are great, others aren't. Reach out to senior students to figure out which are which.
Churchill is the minority only school, please if you do not identify as a minority then do not attend this school. If you are wishing to transfer to this school please say you want to join a IB course and then proceed to drop it when you get accepted. If you are wishing to pass a course at this school please quit all out side of school activity and jobs.
I dm multiple "shordies" that attend at this school im rich fam wya rima and gianna
Loved most teachers here!!!!
So competitive even students take bribes to fail
The teachers there are great but the structure is very creepy. It seems like you are trapped in a prison. The classrooms have only 1-2 windows which makes it very uncomfortable to study and concentrate.
A wonderful school with lovely students and teachers. Truly a good school to go to. Especialy with its IB program and intense classes. You wont be sorry
Many of the teachers and staff at this school hold absolutely no respect for the students. Not only are they completely incapable of considering the perspectives of the students, but they also give completely unfair punishments to students from time to time. This guy I know said supportive statements about Islam and ended up getting a week of community service for it. There are many weeaboos at this school though, so if you're like me you'll find yourself right at home.
Too many weeaboos
Good for the summer!
mr. bloom and mr. c. davidoff , and ,mr. petersen are amazing, thank you for your great work with our kids
This school provides a great learning environment for those seeking a physical and intellectual challenge. All of my friends here believe the teachers are fair and definitely not biased. I had loads of fun at this school and I believe the IB program is definitely academically intensive. Looking back, I would definitely not do it again!
Main office and student service needs to be more polite, they're not too friendly and rarely smile, it's like they look down on a lot of people but other than that, its great.
Rude teachers who don’t understand the meaning of educating kids without mentally harming them. Has happened more than 3 times regret ever graduating from here
Winston Churchill would be proud of our prestigious fornite curriculum 10/10. The courses are specifically designed to get us several victory royales a day. #sirwinstonchurchillforniteacademy #ninja
Grade ten “math” class was so boring I ended up getting some good old victory royals. Would rate ten out of ten but I’m not into the new update where new grade tens are added to the school. #nerfphysics #Victoryroyal #needlesshomework #helpmeimtrapedinthebasementsendhelp
So many dubs coming out of this program. Each player has a grand future ahead of them.
where we landing boys?
I really enjoyed my experience here. The student body is friendly and intelligent and the environment is very open and fresh. Natural light spills in from the wide windows, giving a great feeling of freedom. Not to mention the amazing teachers and staff who are not afraid to punish students when needed. I think it was great when they gave a student a week of community service for something they posted on facebook. Actually, I'm afraid of giving this school a truthful review or I would be pulled into the office, intimidated, and forced to delete this Google review because it "offends" the administrators.
mr. bloom and mr. c. davidoff is much good... also mr. petersen is much engaging and you will never fall asleep
All it has going for it is the hot dogs
Horrible school. The teachers, counsellors, and secretary staff are insanely rude. Teachers shout at students and are abusive or sadistic. Counsellors are not helpful at all when it comes to course selection and expect you to know everything. The IB Coordinators are awful too. The fact that this school expects you to sign up for IB in grade 10 and you can't drop it after that is unreal and unheard of at other schools. School is insanely crowded, over 2000 students. Students may have to share a locker with two people sometimes. Same can be said about the parking lot and surrounding intersections around the school. Majority of traffic is caused by kids' parents all coming to pick them up and everyone trying to leave right at 3:00. Such chaos. Overall, please don't send your kids here.
This is a very overrated school. I write this because of a couple of extremely negative experiences my children have had attending this school, one related to the principal of this school, arvin raja, who is the rudest individual my family and I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. During an information session about the IB program here at this school, he won't even bother to speak to us when we were standing right in front of him. He also had the most condescending tone of voice when speaking with some families. The second negative experience related to an English teacher at this school, james mckeage, who is universally disliked by his students because he is incredibly mean and loves to get into arguments with his students. Yet, he still continues to teach here. He and the principal must have a pact with each other to keep each other employed. If you are looking for a good, academically focused school that is run by a decent principal and has actually nice teachers, please stay away from this school.
i HATE THIS SCHOOL WITH A PASSION. lol i just started grade 11 and i already have crippling depression :( i don't recommend cos the "staff of 125 people who are here to help" kinda aren't :/ i just can't wait to graduate to get out of here! #help
