This school was a good high school experience, with some memorable teachers. The IB program here is definitely worth it, if that's something you want to look into and this school has one of the best math departments in the city. The only thing I really didn't like was the overall hygiene in a lot of the washrooms. They would often be closed or just out of order, which often forced you to commute to the upper floors for your business. Overall, it was a good school, but it's really what you make out of it in the end.

This community high school is centrally located with easy access from Glenmore Trail, MacLeod Trail, 14th Street and Elbow Drive. It offers regular program, a gifted and talented program, IB and various arts based curriculum. The student population is small compared to other high school giving it a more community feel. Allowing students, teachers and support staff the ability to develop closer ties and understanding.

Henry wise wood is a great school for unique programming, they offer GATE and IB programs and you can mix these classes with regular stream classes. The teachers that I've had this far have been super supportive and great and the arts program is really great. The plays drama puts on are a must see. The band program is also really good, last year the band went on tour to Hawaii and the next big trip is to Seattle. Overall, Henry wise wood is a great school with some of the best course selection in all of Calgary.

Great school, with GATE and IB program. Math program is best in the city, and some teachers are awesome, and care about your progress. Unfortunately as with all schools there are some bad aspects, like dirty washrooms and bad pre-ib science teachers.

Teachers are alright. Not a fan of mr Fortin. I haven’t gotten I. Trouble but I’m not keen on how heavy the punishments are. My friend got a 5 day suspension for recording a fight

IB program offered here. Our experience of this school has been positive. The school does lots of school spirit and inclusive activities. The football team has a good track record.

Worst high school experience of my life. Many teachers are stricked and not accommodating to their students. I did have a few good teachers. There are many mean and snubby students. I don't understand how anyone besides myself can graduate in this poor social and learning environment. to me what a joke. I was there in 2003. Thats why I left and graduated at Alternative. Hopefully things have changed.

OK school with some really good teachers. Maintenance definitely has to be done and at least one washroom is always closed for some reason.
