Hahaha... School is fun and I love(d) it there, but there are a few... a lot of problems that I'll decide not to mention...

This elementary school is not academically focused at all. I know a student who went to this school in grade four, and they were learning 1+1=2. This level of learning is unacceptable. Also, silent reading and playing outside (all activities that do not require teacher direction) take up at least half the day for students in grade 6 and 7. Also, the teaching method of the teachers is to teach to the level of the student with the least academic ability, so a majority of the students don't learn very much. The marks given by this school are based mainly on 1) how much the teacher likes a student, and 2) how much the teacher likes a student. Many teachers here unfortunately base marks so that every above average person gets and "above average" C+. If you're a parent of a Morley student and want your child to succeed, you must teach him/her yourself after school, or hire a tutor. The staff are somewhat friendly, however.

I went to this school from 1962-1967 Grade 1 until half way thru Grade 5 wish we had never moved to Vancouver and could have stayed in Burnaby. I now live close to Morley once again.

My kids attends Morley and they are being taken care of academically. The teachers are good, Principal is such just kool with the kids. Love Morley.

I love Morley I went there from kindergarten to grade 3 and I moved to surrey I really miss that place. I miss Gladys, Myra, Cherry, Katrina, Emma, Emma, and some other friends that I already have forgotten their names... I Had fun at that school my favorite teachers are Ms. Anderson and Mrs.- King. I love you Morley ????

This school is full of favouritism. There is almost no teaching. We barely learn anything from the curriculum. If you're a kid in this area go to an other school.
