I was in the first class to go through all years at CHJH having just moved to Canada from Michigan. I subsequently finish high school at Burnaby Central (1967), and then a Science Degree followed by Medical School at UBC.. Looking back, Cariboo was the highlight of my years in school. With the help of wonderful teachers,, I learned to believe in myself and to push to accomplish goals I'd never thought possible. I still stay in touch with friends I met at Cariboo. I know live in California after a 40 year career in Emergency Medicine. I come to Vancouver periodically and also make a trip past Cariboo and talk to the students.
