Great spot! It is very clean. There are plenty of machines, both cardio and resistance. Beautiful pool, wading pool, hot tub, sauna. There are plenty of group activities, for all levels of fitness

Decent Gym/Recreation Center but it is Pricey and most of the equipment are old and could use an update. Most expensive facility in Brockville area.

Hi Hi

I love working our at the YMCA and also I love swimming too it's so fun

Over priced for what it offers. The recent upgrade was much needed, but I think they still have a lot of work to do in order to measure up to other gyms. I think that they should try to be apart of the community and area they are in, instead of looking for outsiders. However, I know they do offer a reduced price for people of low/no income.

The YMCA is a very positive place that has helped to grow the community in Brockville and is continuing to do so. It is a great place to work out as well as a great place for kids camps, aquatics and daycare!

I'm thankful for having a YMCA here in Brockville.

The facility is expensive but the staff is friendly - however the website is terrible. It’s impossible to find information on swim times or lessons so you always have to phone.

My wife and I take our 2 year old just about every week to swim here. They're always friendly and welcoming. We also really appreciate how Meghan? Megan? Makes an effort to be extra friendly to our son. Haven't had any issues aside from once the pool being closed for cleaning without their being notices or anything but that's understandable!

I really like this YMCA location, mostly due to Suenyang being such a great yoga instructor! She is very knowledgeable and helpful to ensure you get a good balance of mental well-being, relaxation and a good workout. I really like how she works on specific stretches in each class, so you can really see the progress. I’d highly recommend any of her yoga classes!

I worked out at the Brockville Y this morning, my first visit since the re-opening. I was very impressed by the COVID protocols, including the instructions given by the person at the front desk when I entered. The newly renovated men's changeroom and shower area looks terrific. Brockville is lucky to have such a great facility available for all to use. Congrats to the Y of Eastern Ontario team for all of the great work that has been done!!

Love the gym. Just wish it was 24 hrs. I read some people on here say it's expensive. I only pay 25 a month. They go by your budget eh.

A lot of employees we have delt with are terrible with kids and I wouldn't leave my kid alone with many of the employees. Last year I reviewed the brockville Y at 1 star just after we started going because of the terrible experience with karate. We have now been going a year and I still think that's an appropriate rating. Its not the cleanest in the pool area there's gum stuck in windows and under things last time I was in. Most of the lifeguards are cold and cranky. There are a select few that are decent and most of the good ones always seem to leave. We just removed our son from swimming due to how the guy treated my son and how he didn't pay attention to my son swimming in the pool. Some people shouldn't be working with kids if they aren't good with them. The kids club is iffy at best the first week my son went to kids club some kid stole his sweater. Most of the classes my son has been in aren't good and not many seem to get how to interact with children. Most of the people working in kids club just sit/eat and sort of watch the kids they don't even try to keep them entertained. I cant imagine what it is like on youth night with no parents around. The front desk are OK... But have made more mistakes than I can count. Even after calling to confirm a class is happening we have showed up to the class cancelled. We also asked them to switch my sons swimming class to a different teacher (because of the issues which we told them about) and they said ya sure did it. Come to find out it was switched it to a different day but the same teacher. I get the feeling a lot of the people that work there don't care and the ones that do care are very few. Come on YMCA hire more people that care. We are canceling our membership unfortunately good prices aren't enough to subject my child to this.
