I know some of the people who work at Fulford Academy. Whenever I enter the school, I get a sensation of aliveness, openness, and excitement of all those lives coming together, changing experiences and looking at life through different cultural lenses. I have watched young people thrive and bring out the best in themselves, becoming the young adults the we can be proud of and trust in. Fulford gives values, opportunities, knowledge and a lot of fun experiences that bring out the trust in oneself, and the strength and conviction the students need to be successful. And, last but not least, the people who work at Fulford care. That's why it would be my choice of school for my kids.

Terrible school. Cruel rules that makes students feel like they’re in a prison and it is almost impossible to learn English they’re are about 9 Chinese who didn’t even learn English last year. Do not send your children here it will emotionally destroy them.

Fulford Academy is a wonderful place. I came here two years ago and i didn't expect I can get a lot of friends from other countries and meet awesome teachers and residential team. We are really close to each other and teachers give us their hands if needed. The most I love about teachers is seeing their passion toward classes. The dorm life is my favorite time. Fulford residential team alway organize fun events for boarding students; Playing games, doing puzzles, singing and dancing together. Sounds like normal but definitely those made my days and memories. As we spent time together, I felt like they are my second family. It is hard to understand other perspective each other sometimes but different perspectives, personalities, that make it interesting and help you to learn other cultures.

When you walk into the school, you can really feel the good energy - a positive environment with great teachers who foster a family-like atmosphere. The STEM+A approach to learning and the wide range of afterschool activities really shape the students to have a balanced outlook on life and their future. The school is is in a safe, small town in a beautiful part of Canada. Fulford Academy is not only an outstanding school in terms of education but also a family for everyone that chooses to live there. As I personally experienced the Fulford community during 10th grade and always like to remember the great time I had, I can only recommend everyone to stay at Fulford Academy. I strongly believe that the Fulford Academy is the best school for any newcomer. If your child grew up in another country, in a different culture and he or she is just thinking about studying in Canada, then your choice should focus on the Fulford Academy. I feel myself in the position to say that as my son studied there and it was his first school in Canada. Apart from active studying, he had a lot of fun there together with his close friends and schoolmates. All the students were constantly involved in interesting educational projects, as well as a large number of cultural and sports activities. They also regularly traveled throughout the whole Canada and learned a lot about this wonderful country. My son very much liked and still in touch with his Fulford Academy teachers, as well as gladly recalls the school staff, including leadership, admission, dorm fathers and mothers, cooking ladies, drivers and others. Kids have never perceived them as part of the school bureaucracy, but rather as family members, to whom at any time they could turn for help, kind support and understanding. Although my son currently lives in another city in Canada and studies in another wonderful school, he keeps coming back to his Fulford Academy whenever possible during his school breaks and holidays just to re-immerse himself in the wonderful, caring and loving atmosphere of his the very first Canadian family. My experience at this school has been absolutely amazing since day one in September. I am a local student and was welcomed with open arms by every single person who works there. My parents absolutely cannot say enough excellent things about this school and what it has done for me in just six short weeks. I have some much more confidence than I have ever had before, I am currently in Gr. 10 and would highly recommend this school to anyone that is not only local in our area but to all International students that are considering coming here. I have made so many friends from all across the world and have learned so much already from them in this short time. I look forward to what lies ahead the rest of the year. The teachers, Dr. Steel, Johanna, the Chef, Camilla, Cindy, my incredible math teacher well the list could go on and on, they have ALL gone above and beyond for me and for my family in so many ways that I wouldn't even know where to start. All I have to say is how many people (Dr. Steele) would offer to drive all the way out to where I live just to give me a ride to school each morning in order that I can attend. There have been MANY added bonuses that just never seem to end, these people are not only incredible but I feel like they are my second family. I know my parents feel the same way. One last thing, they really know how to challenge us each week by placing us on different teams (houses) to earn points to be the house of the week. i absolutely love this and one of these weeks I am sure it will be our turn - go Green House!
