The school is located on the former campus of Guelph University, a site as charming as it is designed to accommodate young people of all ages. It is the students of the elementary who, since September 2016, animate the places. Beginning in September 2018, the moved on to the integration of the intermediate levels (Grades 7 and 8) at Rideau River School in order to accommodate the following year, all secondary school students! Rideau River Elementary and Secondary School is a Francophone, dynamic and welcoming place to learn. Respecting and appreciating differences allows students and the wider school community to feel welcome. All school staff are committed to providing each student with a learning environment conducive to personal and academic success. 3 main lines: -development of a sense of belonging and valorization stemming from the recognition of the successes and progress of each one; -the continuous development of the full potential of each person in a dynamic and francophone learning environment adapted to the particular needs of the student; -the development of healthy lifestyle habits through the promotion of physical activity and the consistent management of the rules of life that underlie the development of every young citizen of the world.

My heart, they do better job than I ever could! So grateful my child has a school where he's allowed to play with sticks climb trees and play on the ice! Childhood is legal again ????
