Centennial is overrated. Though not the best part of town imo, many of the awesome teachers are here for some reason.

Loved going here but disappointed in the name change that’s for sure changing from Moira to east side is uncalled for. It will always be Moira to me.

I graduated from East Side (back then Moira!) in 2010. Back then it was a small school - around 600 students. We had small class sizes (10 to 20) and really nice teachers (Mr. Matho stands out for any math focused students). While the science program wasn't as strong as at other schools, the drama and arts program was top notch. They also had IB. Moira always had tons of school spirit. I remember how often people would be going down the hall's in Trojan gear or making sure people knew about schools events. I'm sure that hasn't changed. What a trip down memory lane writing this review. I'd highly recommend this school to any future East Side students!

The school name has just changed and will start September 2018. No longer will it be Moira Secondary School, but rather East end Highschool. An unpopular move by the school board, many disapproved of the name change which was precipitated by the closing/consolidating of another local highschool (Quinte S.S.). Still, the high school is located in a nice, suburban neighborhood which many people want to live in.
