The reviews for this school are full of disgruntled students, but as a graduate looking back, I can say this was an excellent high school experience compared to other schools. Almost every teacher is genuinely dedicated to their work and their students, and if you ask for help genuinely will provide it reasonably. My only complaint is the wild disparity in funding for arts programs compared to sports. What money the arts did get was monopolized by dance, and drama and music classes suffered because of it during my time here. In my second year, the drama classroom was torn apart to make a cosmo classroom and drama students were forced into the tiny old dance studio, and the room where the costumes and props were kept. Even this said, however, our school got more funding for arts than many other schools in the district, and despite most of it going to dance, our drama department was one of the more well funded programs. I will never forget my 4 years here.

Went to Bear Creek from 2001 to 2005--among the first students there, and started as a fresh-faced 'niner at the time. While my school experience wasn't ideal, I can say with confidence the school itself and its staff weren't to blame. The kind of harassing that followed me through the halls can be found at any school, and looking back now, if I separate those events and other issues I had while growing up from the broader high-school experience, I can find many fond memories sprinkled throughout. I can't speak to what the school is like now--all I can say is, the pros outweighed the cons during my time, and though not all of the staff were likable, helpful, or necessarily right for the job, I know many more of them really gave it their all. Take heart, young Kodiaks--there are far worse experiences than those you'll have within these halls. Cherish these moments while they last.

Had my up and downs in the school, good days and bad days, fun time and not so fun times. I am glad I have graduated out of school, I have been there since grade 9 and I liked the school until I reached my 2nd victory lap and that was when things there started to go down hill, tbh. I am glad I am out of that school
