Decent environment despite the aging facility. Just some of the bad things: -Poor planning -Poor budget spending -Delayed construction and renovation (example: Rotunda) -Lazy administration (starts at the top Olsen...) -Snakes Overall, they have no sense of how to spend their money to make the school a truly amazing place for students. Bad plan for the future but that’s none of my business because administration never takes things seriously. Nice things: -A decent chunk of the students -Most teachers are supportive

Why is there a school not making a safe space for the victim but for the r*pist. Where r other parents on this!!! Fix you school!! Hold r*pist accountable!! Letting him free in ur halls is what will dirty ur name. Stand with the victims!!!

Throughout my time at Ainlay I was thoroughly impressed by the variety of activities/clubs offered to the student body. The councillors are amazing with the students (regardless of how troublesome some of us can be) and offer good advice about relationships with friends/family and are very efficient at helping you plan out your career choices. My VP (Mr.Freed) has helped me to stay motivated to do the best I can in school even when I didn’t care about my success, he stuck with me through some of my worst times and even helped me to get back into Ainlay when I told him I wanted to do more with my life. Ainlay offers a level of support I have never had in a school elsewhere and provides a well rounded support system to help with courses. The key to success at Ainlay is communication, if you talk with your teachers/admin/councillors they will do their best to try and help you through your highschool years.

I LOVE Harry Ainlay! They have GREAT education. AWESOME, FUN sports. Also INTERACTIONS. My dad works there and he loves teaching and he also coaches football. I RECOMMEND Harry Ainlay to ANYBODY!

Harry Ainlay is by far the best school I have attended. There is a very low amount of bullying if any at all. There's just something about ainlay where anyone can find a place to fit in if they look for it. The school spirit which seems to have been passed on for years (proof by ms.knudsen) is insane. There's almost always something happening in the rotunda, (like culture fest or one of many dance-offs). And although ainlay may go a little overboard when it comes to sports, there's a ton of other opportunities that are non-sports related too. It's just an overall great environment to work in. (You hardly even notice the -no windows in any of the classes thing.)

Went there through 2005 beginning school year to 2008 ending school year. This is an excellent high school focused on the field of trades. The teachers here are excellent, they made class enjoyable and all around, I remember my high school years very fondly.

This was my high school...i graduated in 1989. Spent some amazing years there...had lots of fun. I am not sure what it is like now...probably not as crazy as when I was there. If those walls could talk... those dances, the pit, the sports. Teachers were great then too. I miss Mr Nicholson the principal.

I had a fantastic experience at Harry Ainlay, I have met a lot of life long friends here. The student body is very diverse due to the large population size. It is very plausible for everyone to find or create a group with similar interests and passion. The school received a well-deserved renovation for the 50th anniversary. The 2017 renovation provided necessary upgrades to classrooms, common areas, and new lounges for students. In addition, the 2017 renovation was the first time they added windows to some classrooms! Overall, the majority of the students and staff all strive to promote a safe and positive learning experience.

The atmosphere in the school is positive and energized and the teaching staff are engaged and put in extra time if your child needs more support or guidance. People warned me that the school is too big but I've not encountered anything that makes me feel that way...if anything, having 2800 students adds to the strength of knowing what students in these grades need and respond to, and is large enough to provide something for everyone in extra curricula clubs and societies.
