What can I say, one of my favourite places in the city to get sushi/Japanese food. It’s always fresh, service is fast, their quality is great. I would 10/10 Recommend their Yakisoba Noodles, my favourite is the Chicken Katsu. Also a huge fan of anything they do with shrimp! Love coming here and love ordering from here!

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I got the 12pcs deluxe sushi dinner and a roll. There's nothing deluxe about this dinner. I relied on the google review and had high expectations. Especially since the menus were pricey. Turns out this is a flop. The fish on the sushi is very thin. All I can taste from the roll was spicy. This place has the quality of regular sushi place with price of more upscale place. This seems like the prime example of friends giving high reviews to help the business. DISAPPOINTED!

This is my favorite sushi place. I have never been to the restaurant itself, but have been ordering takeout for over 1 year. The food is always super delicious with a very decent size. Highly recommended!

The chicken katsu rice bowl was amazing. The sushi, not so much. Definitely higher quality fish, but the portions are very small. I have never seen such small amounts of rice used for nigiri sushi. I would return but only for the chicken katsu bowl. Past pictures from this place show much bigger portions, so maybe this is a recent thing.

I was looking for another Japanese restaurant after the one I've been going to for years has poorly changed. This place exceeded my expectations. The vegetable tempura was so fresh and a great assortment, not overly battered. Maki roll is great portions. So pleased with how fresh everything was. Definitely my go to now

Has become my go to sushi place! The sushi is fresh, the rice to filling ratio in the rolls is perfect, and the yakisoba dishes are to die for! The presentation is always perfect also and the prices are reasonable. I won't order from anywhere else as long as I'm in the area!

I just picked up an order from Sushi Karu for for Mother’s Day because my mom’s been craving sashimi. Even though my parents live in the area, it’s the first time we’ve tried Sushi Karu and we were all really impressed. The sashimi was very fresh and well prepared, everything was excellent - the food, the price and the service. We wished we discovered it sooner but are happy we’ve found our new sushi place!

Excellent little sushi shop. The sushi tasted a lot more fresher than other places and prices were fair. Very delicious stuff here so I'd come back for sure and definitely recommend it to sushi lovers!! I had the Sashimi Deluxe (20 pieces) and the portions were generous, especially for the salmon. The people that run the place are incredibly friendly and welcoming as well. Please note that this place is take-out only and I do wish there was seating for dining in. It's understandable given the restaurant's small size, though.

Yikes! The quality and quantity of this restaurant has diminished severely. It used to be good. What I got tonight from my order was tiny and pitiful. I ordered the rainbow roll, and each roll was so small with a tiny sliver of fish. Will never order from these guys again.
