Found this place by accident. The patio feels like a resort in Cuba. Had seafood platter. A bit more pricey than other places I've been to but it did not disappoint. Would recommend and definitely coming again

An amazing little gem with incredible portions, delicious food and wonderful staff! I came for a late bite to eat after an appointment nearby and everyone was so friendly.. I felt like I was being welcomed into their home. Such an enjoyable evening! I am definitely going to come back with my family and friends, I truly felt like I was back in Portugal again. ❤️ ????

FOLLOW MY FOOD REVIEW IG: snackinwithstasia???? Delicious food, friendly atmosphere. Feels like a great little local spot for the best authentic Portuguese food if you know where to look! Prices have gone up pretty steep since covid hit, but I can’t blame them. The service was excellent, they’re very friendly, warm, and welcoming! There are very few single tables, however, so it doesn’t feel like a very intimate spot to go on a date. This is the kind of place you go with a multitude of friends and family to share all the great food! I recommend the paella, it’s delicious, although way too much for just two people so we didn’t get it this time around. The portion sizes are pretty big for what you pay, so all around this is a good spot!

Outstanding food, friendly service. Our server was very amiable and had a great sense of dry humour. The beef skewer was, for want of a better word, perfect! My dining companions thoroughly enjoyed the half-chicken and the house steak. Having sampled each other's dishes, I can say from experience that any one of them would make a delightful entire meal - the fried potatoes (in both french-fry and fresh potato chip form) would, anywhere else, be the star of the show: here, they play a happy second fiddle to the beautifully seasoned and seared beef.

Always love the food from here and the atmosphere is great as well. Love the outdoorsy feel of the patio yet you have the option to sit in the dining room which is very clean and comfortable. I order take out from here as well and the portions are generous. Would recommend !

I usually come here for takeout due to proximity, the only decent thing is the chicken. Though today when I went to get chicken takeout they got my food ready instantly, which turns out was leftovers from a previous day that was Just heated up, food was terrible. Owner is terrible to staff, though due to covid all her staff take the necessary precautions but the owner I constantly see without a mask when dealing with other people's food. I strongly do not recommend, there are plenty of Portuguese restaurants better than this one.

This is such a great place if you want the traditional home style Portuguese meal! the food portions are huge! the food is always fresh, the wait can come sometimes be a bit long to get the food but once you get the food served to you, you understand why the you had to wait because it is made fresh and made to perfection. The waiters are good here, but some don't speak English or speak good English. It's clean and the prices are AMAZING for the portion and quality of food you are getting. I have never had a problem here once with anything. its a clean restaurant and the bathrooms are clean. this is also a good place to host a party there have a separate area for parties in the back and there is a live DJ here and he is actually really good. Its a must go to place and try it out! ENJOY.

Service is not good. Standing at the door for 10 min to be attended. Sitting for 10 min before they come to ask what we want to drink and bring menu. Food took very long to come. The girl seems to know other customers and talked a lot to them, but completely forgot us. Food is good, but not “wow” quality. Gave 3 stars because it is satisfying quantity. PS. Social distancing and mask wearing is not strictly practiced.

We went for the patio because we wanted to enjoy the nice weather OUTSIDE and by the restaurant name and the pictures online, we assumed that we couldn't be wrong. However, when we got there, we were told that the patio was closed because it was too hot (it was not) and inside we would have enjoyed the cooler temperature. ???? Service was slow, especially for taking the order: we had to remind them that we were there I think after 20 minutes. At least on the table there were bread and olives so that we could kill the time somehow. The food was OK, maybe a bit more pricey than I expected. I'm giving 3 stars instead of two because the quantity was satisfactory and I had a great time anyways with my friend.

Fantastic food! Had the pepper steak medium rare and it melted in my mouth. Fries were delicious and crispy, steak was tender, and the house wine was divine! Only critique is that the peppercorn gravy is definitely a gimmick with the full peppercorns. Had to scrape them all off because one bite with a peppercorn overtakes the flavor. Other than that it was an amazing experience, and everyone was so friendly and caring!

Very interesting building. Menu items are a bit expensive except for the chicken dinners. Very nice desserts, loved the coffee mousse. When we walked in there was a big friendly cat named Rico just chilling in the middle of the dining area! I've never seen that before. Was a little odd at first, but it was actually a nice homey touch. Was very satisfied with the meal, good portion and fantastic quality.

Excellent restaurant. They offer many options of meat and seafood, but the best thing here is the charcoal chicken. Very traditional Portuguese cuisine. The potatoes are also amazing. The staff is helpful and very friendly, and prices are great. Recommended!

We’ve been getting take out from here for years and we’re always appreciate of how generous the portions are at this establishment for the price. Staff is as authentic as it gets, you can see special care goes into making the food. It has that home cooked feel to it which is another big reason why we keep coming back. Hot sauce they give you with the chicken is so good and they sell it by the bottle! Give them a try if you’re looking for authentic Portuguese dining and excellent value.

Come here today for lunch. First look at the place, look like an old place like a gran gran uncle where we used to go for family reunion, Service was nice but absolutely slow. Food is good. Not amazing, but very generous portion. Not a bad place. Just really slow and a bunch of flies around. At my table, was few flying around. I HATE flies.

Very disappointed we ordered the seafood platter for Christmas Eve , price went from $130 to $150 and now $225 plus tax in a matter of 3 years, when I called to order they told me it was $200 cash, when my husband picked up it was $225 plus tax, the tray was not even full, the smallest lobster I have ever seen and almost no crab, we pretty much paid for muscles and clams. I called to inquire why I was charged more than quoted and the gentleman that answered the phone was quite rude. I will not be ordering from them again

This place is a DISASTER! The food is terrible, I tried some of the octopus from take out, extremely dry, burnt and chewy, it is so simple to cook an octopus, I don’t know how they could ruin it so much. I thought it was just a bad kitchen day, then I returned another day to eat from the menu. The food completely bland, I’ve been to many Portuguese restaurants, this one is far the worst experience I’ve had, not enough until I had to hear the owner screaming at their staff, very rudely... how can someone appreciate a meal when there is another person out of control yelling at others? Super unprofessional. I am just giving one star because they have parking, otherwise if I could I would leave zero stars.

This place truly is a hidden gem! The patio reminds me of being on an island or resort style restaurant, feels so authentic! and then the service for food is efficient PLUS you get a delicious meal with a generous portion. We got the quarter chicken dinners with 2 sides. Calamari was overly breaded to my liking, but the portion was awesome! I can't wait to go back for more :)
