Absolutely amazing food, you must try the curry goat with their salad and their fried chicken is simply the best. Price is fair for the large portions and fast service. parking is not convenient and make sure you read the signs or you might get a parking ticket.

I tried Lloyd’s for the first time on a recommendation from a friend. I ordered the fried chicken with rice and peas. Generous portions, reasonably priced, and bursting with great flavour. When I am in this area again I look forward to trying more items on the menu. **Edit I enjoyed the food but not the food poison that I experienced from eating here.

A friend recommended Lloyd's to me. Oh boy did it not dissappoint. Ordered a oxtail and jerk chicken dinner. Everything was delicious. The chicken had a good spice to it. Very impressed. Definately going back.

Red beans and rice was good, and "rum cake" tasted more like gingerbread, but SO good, no A/C, but the beer was frosty, and the staff, very friendly. Aside from the music, you might think you were in Jamaica, according to the people with me. They had traditional dishes, and quite enjoyed.

I dont live in the area but when I get a chance normally when the weather is nicer I ride my motorcycle. I take the trip to Lloyd"s just to enjoy the flavorful food. It's the best Jamaican food that I ever had. I will recommend to anyone who's looking for a good meal! go there and give them a try you wont regret it. :)

If you want cheap food - to go, only then this place is recommended. The restaurant is poorly maintained. It's run by this old couple who can't seem to manage the place. The kitchen is not well kept. There are always folks hangin out and smokin marijuana just outside the entrance - I dint feel safe walking into that restaurant. The food is not that great- just average! I've tasted better Jamaican food but for the price, it's okay. The owner, Lloyd was friendly.

Oxtail and plantains were quite good and the festival was one of the best I've ever had. The jerk chicken was ok at best and I can't say I would order again. It doesn't compare to a number of the other great options in the city. I would have probably given this place a star higher based on the food which was enjoyable if I hadn't been overcharged by $5+ on my order, which I unfortunately didn't realize until I had already driven away.

Yea mon! They have that no chew, fall of the bone, juicy kind of oxtail stew! I like the little spice level that they put on it too. It’s not burning hot spice but enough heat to warm up the back of your throat to let you know you are eating something flavour full. You can tell they cook this for a long time and thorough, not like some chain Jamaican places that make you have to cut the meat off using a knife. Good prices and nice serving sizes! Definitely coming back here! Here’s a photo but it doesn’t do justice.

They serve old food. Plain and simple!! You want food that is a day or two old then there you have it. Ordered their fried chicken on a few different occasions and everytime it tasted stale. They don't like to throw out food.

I had the oxtail dish with jerk chicken. The oxtail was good but i had better. The jerk chicken was mediocre. If you are in the area try it out. Nothing too special about this place.
