The best part of our first and only visit was our server Alyssa, she’s amazing! Food tasted great but we were not too impressed with the portion sizes, my spaghetti with mushroom sauce looked like a child portion. Overall a great experience but there are so many better restaurants in this city where you will leave satisfied and full :)

Went as a large group to celebrate a birthday for a friend. Was a long wait, but Amraan and Chris (managers) did compensate us with appys and worked hard to get everyone sitting at the same table. Once we were seated, our server Angela was amazing! I don’t imagine it is easy to keep orders for 17 straight, but everything came out as ordered, quickly. The food was delicious! Would definitely recommend!! And will definitely be back!!!

Wait time was shorter than anticipated to get in. Food was very good. Our waitress was ok...we felt a little rushed but it was a very busy night for them. Highly recommend...we were so full even though the portions looked small.

Such a good dining experience! It was incredibly good food & it was super decently priced! Loved that the server (Momo) was super nice as well! But the entire meal was included- sourdough bread with a yum garlic butter to start, a soup or salad followed, and then our meals. I got a caesar salad, my boyfriend got a French onion soup to start. For our meals, he got lasagna and I got pesto linguine with chicken. Both of us LOVED our meals and would definitely go back! The one thing that was a disappointment was that we weren't offered the included coffee and icecream that it talks about on their menu. We didn't realize until afterwords when a friend asked if we liked the icecream that we hadn't gotten any! If we had been offered the icecream- or thought to ask- it would have been a 5 star rating! We both left stuffed nonetheless!

I went Saturday, February 8th with my partner and two other friends at around 18:15. Obviously it was optimal eating time for everyone, aka dinner rush, so it wasn't a huge surprise that we were estimated to have a 55 minute wait. Whether or not we waited that long is debatable, I believe it was actually shorter because people on the list in front of us left early, but digress and they missed out! If you have been to an Old Spaghetti Factory before the food itself is nothing of a surprise. The true charm of this restaurant is the decor. They kept a lot the same as the previous restaurant, The Station House, except they flooring. That was all redone, and a good job too! The carpet was scary. The quality of the food was delicious. I had the Chicken Penne and truly recommend it, it is quite large so I had to pack up half of it to bring home and was delicious cold the next day as my lunch. The service was fantastic, our server was funny and dealt with our puns. You never would have guessed he was at the tail end of working a double! Fantastic spirit and charisma.

First off service was great, havent had good service like this in awhile anywhere. Food was quick and hot. All four meal tasted great. Will be back for sure.

Excellent service and great experience. Very good place for pasta lovers, with several options, including gluten-free alternatives. The house salad is nothing special so probably better to get the soup.

Our waiter and support staff were so kind. My daughter (6yrsold) wanted to take me on a date every one was so patient with her and let her order and pay. The recommendation from Koan was delicious, and the food came out hot and fast. Thanks all!

We enjoyed our firat trip to the Spaghetti Factory in Saskatoon. We were a large group and arrived at 6:30 and they had us seated within 45 minutes. The waitress had a number of large tables and worked well with all the tables. She told us when things were going to take a bit longer and set expectations for when she would be getting drinks, taking orders etc as our group arriced at different times. The food was good, I found it quite salty but overall a good meal for a good price. The manager atepped in to assist with drink refills and to get more bread. The waitress was friendly and didnt mind our group staying to visit after supper. All in all a good experience. If you go at peak times, expect to wait for a table.

First time there. Been waiting for a while since I love to go to new places but not wanting to be the very first to go. My friend and I went for our first time tonight. Wonderful service, not a long wait time for getting in or get our food. Our food was delicious and fresh and inspiring...... it was amazing

They charge you $5 more for the soup but they don't say its extra till you get the bill(the French onion soup tastes like week old bread crunched together with over salted broth), the food tastes like its from a frozen bag, very bland and no flavor. Small portions and $$$. Very rude staff. Stick to olive garden, consistent great food at low cost.

We loved our meal here today. Their meals are all inclusive - sort of. All entrees come with a crusty loaf of bread for the table, choice of soup or salad, coffee or tea, and ice cream for dessert. The kids meals were a decent size. We'll come here again.

I love this restaurant! The bread is unlimited and tastes amazing! I love the garlic butter that comes free with it. When they bring the bread it has regular butter and garlic butter, both whipped so it was soft and easy to spread on the warm fresh bread. You also get one free tea or a free coffee I believe (I get green tea so not sure about the coffee). The lasagna is AMAZING too. And the minestrone soup is free and is really good and doesn't have many beans (which is a plus for me). The waiters and waitresses are really nice and easy to talk to. They have the same basic setup as Station Place who occupied the space previously, so you can sit in the train still, they have the upstairs, and the bar and everything's still there. It's about $20 a person and isn't salty.

For my 1st time at the Saskatoon location it did not go well. We had a very long wait to be seated understandable it was very busy. 2 of our party had to leave with out finishing because the kitchen was running late. Our server was very apologetic and the manager did adjust the bill accordingly. I'm sure the next visit will go better. All in all I think it's worth a second chance.

Delicious food, excellent ambience in an old train car, and friendly and helpful staff. There was a decent wait to get seating which we were asked to do in our vehicle and they sent us a text when our table was coming up, but it was dinner on a Saturday so that's to be expected, especially with covid measures in place. Staff wore masks and seats were well separated from others. I had the seafood Alfredo with caesar salad and it was amazing. Also shared an appetizer of mozza triangles with dill sauce. I might just get the appetizer twice over next time, it was that delicious, even though my actual meal was really good. And of course, as much crispy-crust-but-soft-inside bread as we wanted. This place is a gem. Staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Food is delicious. No halal options so we had to go with shrimp. All inclusive deals are exceptionally worth it. You get a freshly baked bread with garlic butter, salad, main course, tea/coffee and ice cream. Pesto linguine pasta was epic.

We started with sourdough bread but it chewed like it was made the day before. Our waiter brought us a fresh warm loaf later - much better. We then shared calamari and it was pretty good. The only disappointment was the Seafood Fettuccini Alfredo. There was almost no sauce and the little that was there tasted like cornstarch and water. Once the honeymoon is over these guys are going to have to up their game. Left most of it. Taverna's has nothing to worry about. I had this same dish in a Winnipeg TOSF a while back and it was delicious there.

The bread is always delicious and the fact that you get everything included with the meal is great as you don't have to sacrifice the wallet to get full. The Ceasars salad had so much sauce and was to the point of unedited with how much it tasted like anchovies. No one asked us how our meal was.. it was just such a disappointing experience and I do NOT recommend eating here.

Had Hope's for this restaurant being a person with celiac disease , but on ordering and picking up our meal much to my surprise my entire 15 dollar meal of pasta could fit in one hand. To the spaghetti factory celiacs disease and gluten free does not mean overpriced starvation diet portions. Stay away from this restaurant if you want any satisfaction for what you pay.

Ordered takeout for 4 tonight and was very unimpressed. All entrees lacked seasoning and were very bland. The salad was bagged iceberg mix which tasted old, even the blue cheese dressing had no tang. We showed up at right with the dinner rush, were quickly seated & had a server with us right away. The service was fantastic, on the ball & very attentive. The food was surprisingly quick, considering the place was packed - our meals were out before we had finished our salads. The food was great, the lasagna was apparently forged in the fires of Mordor, but once it cooled to an edible temperature, I was quite happy with it. Coffee & ice cream being included with the meal was a nice touch, the spumoni was excellent. All of it quite reasonably priced for what you're getting.

We went there for my sons birthday. The hostess and our waitress we great. The food not so much, my son and I both ordered the steak, which was not done how we ordered it but we ate it as it was close enough. Not a good steak, tuff, chewy and not much flavor. My wife had seafood fetucine and again she said not alot of flavor. The biggest turn off was having to listen to the dang dot matrix printer printing receipts for the entire time we sat there. I gave 2 stars, one for the hostess and 1 for the waitress.

The food was excellent and tasty. But there was a few problems. My husband, my parents and myself went for supper on Saturday end of August. The server was very poor. There was a Crack beer glass , appetizers didn't show up, my husband didn't get his second beer and his steak wasn't cooked what he wanted.... We never complained about restaurants serves. This was poor service. I'm not sure we will be back again. We weren't very pleased.

Bad service from the beginning. Didn’t appreciate having to repeatedly ask for salt and pepper. We are a family of 4, a family of 6 sat down next to us and got served first. They received their orders before us and were continuely served and while we waited and waited. Our appetizer wasn’t brought to us at all and we weren’t served desert because we got fed up with waiting for our waiter and walked out after going to the front to pay our bill.

I went there today for my birthday supper and I was disappointed in some points especially for the reviews we can read on the net. First, there's only one tiny bred served at the beginning for 6 people. Second, the chairs upstairs are not nice to sit for a long time. Third, we got to ask for cutlery and napkins since they were none on the table. It took incredibly a long time to have our main meals and the restaurant was not even busy. My son's spaghetti sauce with meat was blend and watery. Same for my boyfriend's nephew. It took about 1 hour for my boyfriend to get a pop refill and my daughter asked for a ranch dip but got a dill dip. Our waitress was nice and courteous. The other meals were good.

Excellent food, reasonable prices, and great service! We went on a Friday after work, around 10 after 5, and there was already a big lineup. We were quoted a wait time of around 25-30 minutes. People coming in about 10 minutes later were quoted 45 minutes, and an hour for larger groups. We were seated in about 20 minutes, so a little faster than predicted. We had great service! The food came out fast, our waitress was great (thanks, Alexis!), and the food was delicious. I had my old standby: spaghetti with meat sauce. Pretty basic stuff, but it was really good here! And the prices were very reasonable. Meals come with bread before hand, soup or salad, and a small dish of ice cream for dessert. For 3 of us, the total including alcoholic drinks was about $75 -- a very good price for all that we got! I look forward to going back again!

Currently following Covid protocols (clear signage, hand sanitizer, no more than 6 to a table, staff were wearing masks). Staff were very friendly and made sure that our needs were met. Had a really great experience here. Waitress was awesome, food was even better. Great value and the perfect night for my boyfriend and I to have a covid friendly Christmas together. The kitchen was backed up so our food took a little bit longer but the manager was very kind and courteous about the situation. Kitchen backups happen but the way that the staff responds makes all the difference. Overall, super happy with the experience and impressed with the quality of customer service

All other Old Spaghetti Factory Restaurants take reservations except for Saskatoon. I get that you are new in town but since when did Saskatoon become a City that does not take reservations. Tough to plan a special night or go to a movie/event when you have no guarantee of eating beforehand. Just Stupid!!!

If you haven't gone to Old Spaghetti Factory yet, you NEED to go here! Not only was the service amazing, but the food and portions they gave were awesome! They don't cheap out on the portions and are very accommodating with anything we ordered. They have a thing where you can have anything you order "factory sized" and its basically 1 and half size your order. You definately won't be disappointed! Would highly recommend this place!

We were discriminated today due to my medical exemption in which I cannot wear a mask. The restaurant was not busy and we were told we would have to wait 45 minutes for a seat. I definately felt that the staff treated us unfairly due to this. We left and saw that 4 masked people came in after us and were promptly seated. This is against my human rights and we were judged illegally. Shame on you Spaghetti Factory! I have always loved this restaurant but will not be back.

This restaurant holds a special place in our hearts. My fiancé took me here September of 2020 right before he asked me to marry him! Being from Toronto and missing home, it was nice to have a taste of home. Fast forward to June 28th 2021 we dined in again. The kitchen had an issue with their gas line but we were assured that our food would be out as soon as possible and we were in no rush to finish our meals. The manager came to our table to reassure us as well. After hearing of our previous engagement, they congratulated us and gifted us a chocolate lava cake. Thanks again for the impeccable service!

Their ice cream is to DIE FOR! The meals typically include everything (bread, starter, dinner, and dessert). Make sure to book ahead because you may experience up to 45 minutes waiting time. Despite the wait it was excellent!

A surprisingly good experience, despite a few negatives. Along those were the fact that one server had all the tables and was running off her feet. She was a very capable server but unable to provide adequate service. The sticker shock came as the result of being nickel and dimed on everything - sure, we left full, but the upvharhes are not mentioned or obvious on the menu. Portions are not large. The food itself, however, was tastier than I remember and the coffee was dark and strong. So, maybe they were short staffed... if that was the case, I get it. If that's how things normally are, then it's a two star review.

The server was hands down phenomenal. However, the food was downright terrible. I had the garlic grilled chicken over penne. There was almost no seasoning on the chicken or the pasta. Parts of the chicken were so overcooked that it crumbled under my knife, and the pasta turned into a jelly-like polenta on my plate. Just simply disappointed.

The pandemic obviously had no affect on this place, it's still such an amazing place! The food is still great, fresh, tasty and affordable and portions will leave you full, happy and ready for a nap! But what throws this place over the top is the staff. Everytime I go for either dine in or pick up, there is aways a smile and enthusiasm in everyone. Maybe I have great luck when I go but I doubt it. I will definitely return and highly encourage others to go!

Expecting actual chicken breast for chicken parm and instead we had a gross chicken Cutlet that was slimy on the inside and burnt on the outside. Daughter was not offered her soup or salad. If you go here for a meal make sure you are good and hungry. The menu is all inclusive, meaning that when you order an entre you get a soup or salad ( I would recommend the clam chowder), the meal, coffee or tea, AND ice cream. The servers are amazingly polite, friendly, and knowledgable about the menu. The management here was fantastic! There was an issue with parking that was NOT their fault yet they worked hard to fix it and were very apologetic. I would go back anytime.

A starter, the main course and a dessert plus unlimited sour dough bread. I think you got a lot for your money. Oh and that dessert. Kind of like Neapolitan ice cream but with pistachio instead of strawberry. Plus I don't really like chocolate ice cream but this was decent stuff. We had really friendly service too.

We where seated by the front entrance and the restrooms so I can't say much about the atmosphere, the French onion soup was sub par and definitely not suggested. The lasagna was delicious as well as the house desert ice cream (That flavor is amazing ????) I had the Original Bellini which was delicious as well. All in all it was good food, great service and pleasure and I will definitely return and hopefully will have a more atmospheric experience with seating elsewhere like the train car or perhaps the second floor seating.

The spaghetti portion size was great the ravioli was a little on the slim side. I loved the spaghetti in flavor along with the ravioli. Staff was very nice to deal with. I would suggest they look at better methods of contacting the patrons when both the tables were empty and when pickup was available Would suggest using the buzzing disks. And maybe having a flip timer that shows wait time before someone enters the restaurant.

**EDIT** We decided to give this place another try and it was FAR above our expectations (perhaps they just had a few things to iron out with it being fairly new). The service was fabulous. We received our bread and drinks straight away and the appetizer came shortly after. We ordered the signature pastas this time (baked with cheese) and they were delicious. The experience was so great that we returned again at the end of the week and got more pasta baked with cheese! I feel bad that I can’t remember the servers names because they were awesome even though they were very busy. Thank you so much. The restaurant is going to become a new favourite of ours. We had been looking forward to eating here for months and when we finally did, we were so disappointed. We got the chicken penne and the spaghetti with mushroom sauce. The dishes were so incredibly bland. Mushrooms tasted like they were poured on straight from the can, along with a can of crushed tomatoes. Tasted like tin with almost no sauce. Penne was really shiny and oily with zero flavour. Server did not bring us more water as we were eating and we did not get plates to go with our bread and our extra purchased appetizer. Just ate it over the table with our hands, getting crumbs everywhere. No extra napkins were given. We had to throw out the leftovers when we got home because we couldn’t imagine eating it. Bread, ice cream, and appetizers were delicious.

Ordered via Skip the Dishes. Found the portion sizes tiny compared to eating in. Spaghetti was very undercooked even for al dente, lasagna was small and about as thick as Texas toast. Chocolate cake was a gooey mess, strawberry cheesecake sauce was like jam. Not worth it! ????

We ordered from skip the dishes last night through them, they forget one entire meal so we called and at first the lady told us we had to come get it and we said " well the whole point of skip the dishes is so we don't have to come there so if that's the case can we either get a gift card or the meal remade", not only did they remake the forgotten meal they remade EVERYTHING WE ORDERED! I was so impressed by them. Thank you for doing that for us. we ordered over 100 dollars in food and basically got 100 free. Well done :) Very impressed

We visit a lot of the Old Spaghetti Factory restaurants as the kids love them when we travel. This one is neat as they have old retro fitted train cars to sit in which makes it that much more enjoyable when dining. The food is typical of this brand which is a good thing as we have never had a bad meal at one of these restaurants. Our server at this location was friendly and attentive. I am sure we will continue to visit this location on our trips that we are in Saskatoon.

Yesterday was my first visit to Old Spaghetti Factory. The good thing was that they didn’t upgrade the interior and decors. They are busy as expected. The staff are friendly and pleasant. You get an option of soup or salad to start and coffee and ice cream. The salad and coffee was fine. I had the home made recipe lasagne and it was very delicious. I think it was a very good meal for $18. I definitely go back.

I've heard a few bad reviews, but we have had nothing but great experiences here! So much food, reasonable price and always quite tasty. The kids love it, and we like the fact that the kids can have bread and seasoned butter before the meal comes out and then dessert after for no extra. Service has always been pleasant and thorough. Overall a great family place to eat.

Keeping the design of Station Place was a good way to start, bringing the excellence of The Old Spaghetti Factory is a great way to keep things going. I was in the mood for seafood & was delighted to see a number of options. Good pacing between appetizer, salad, and meal. I didn’t feel rushed, the food tasted fresh, and I left full & satisfied. I took my time on the bread because A) I didn’t know if it was bottomless & didn’t want to ask.. and B) I wanted to save room for the main course. My first experience was in Eau Claire Market in Calgary 20 years ago, and I was excited when I heard Saskatoon was getting one. Too bad about opening just before covid, but I’m glad they were able to stay.

Got there for early supper and the place was packed. The host said to expect a 40-45 min wait and my table of 6 was seated in about a half hour. The service was excellent and there must have been 20 servers and bus staff on. Since they were wearing all black they were easy to spot, everyone I saw seemed well trained about the OSF, how to care for customers, and how to function in a busy fast paced dining room. The meals at our table arrived together and everyone finished their plates with satisfied smiles. The service and efficiency is what I noticed the most...... Nice work OSF!!

Great service. We were given a small fresh baked bread almost as soon as we ordered. The food was served fairly quickly as I was only half finished my soup before the entree was served, although this may have been because it was during the lunch hour on a Friday afternoon. Most meals are complete with soup or salad, the entree and a small dessert. I had the seafood linguini and it came with a good size minestrone soup, the linguini was a fair size portion, not small, but also not gigantic, and a small serving of very good ice cream for dessert. The serving staff were all very nice, making lunch at The Spaghetti Factory an enjoyable experience!????

Review for delivery. We ordered the family pasta meal. Dessert was missed by the driver, everything was cold when it was delivered. The pasta portion would feed 3 adults or a family of 4, not 4-6 people. The salad was disappointing as it looked like the bagged salad you get at the supermarket. Delivery time from order placement was 1h45 min. Dine in and enjoy the atmosphere or order deliver somewhere else. I do not enjoy reheating a meal that was just cooked.

We had no water served and had to ask for it. My wife's salad had brown spots on it. I asked for blue cheese on my salad and was given some tasteless no name brand dressing. I asked for pepper for my salad and had to remind the waiter 10 minutes later and he brought me a pepper shaker instead of a pepper mill. Our ceasar drinks where so spicy hot we could not even finish them. The restaurant was nearly empty and no excuse is fitting for the extremely poor service we received. Lesson learned. The old spaghetti factory today is a mere shadow of its former self. Lets see how long it remains open running on the name brand.

This is a busy, bustling place. Having said that, the waiting was not too bad. The fresh bread is fantastic, served with butter and garlic butter. You order and your portion is not over whelming or overly generous. Enough with bread and drink to be satisfied. I had chicken Alfredo with mushroom and mascarpone cheese ravioli. Would absolutely order it again. My partner had the spicy spaghetti and found it spicy. I didn't find it quite as dramatic but I will often "liven up" mac and cheese with a quarter cup of Frank's. So for the average person it is a pretty good taste ride. The whole place is a great ride with the Pullman cars to dine in. Very reasonably priced. 10/10 recommended.

But cannot stress enough about how friendly the staff were, I have 2 kids, 1 of them is 8 months old and he can make messes very easily, he made a pretty big mess of juice spaghetti and whatever else he decided to play with. As I attempted to clean I was stopped twice by staff telling me to leave it for them. Left a nice tip and will definitely be back for more the next time I am in stoon

We ordered delivery it was good tasting and it came as we ordered which can be rare lol but portion size for what u pay def wasn't up to par. Also they advertise everything is included with the meal. Some pre selected basic sides were free but all the soups and salads should be free as well as come with a dessert if that's the price you're gonna pay for entree. We ordered 4 meals 2 upgraded soups and upgraded salad and chicken ontop of the one pasta dish (was as much chicken as u get in chicken fried rice) and it was 100 dollars... keep in mind this is pasta were talking about lol ordered because didn't wanna turn stove in the heat but won't order again because of price????‍♂️

First time there since it opened in Saskatoon. We were there for a birthday. The meal was good with so many options even whole wheat pasta if you want. Only negative is that I added a breast of chicken to my meal. What I received was barely a few pieces of it. If you charge me $$ for it, then I want the whole piece. Otherwise, good atmosphere. I will return.

My experience was disappointing overall. They have this incredible building with an incredible atmosphere, but they packed far too many tables in. I literally knocked heads with the person sitting at the table behind me. Having so many people packed so close together also makes it really noisy and difficult to enjoy. The food was mediocre at best. There wasn’t anything particularly wrong with it, but I would say the quality is similar to Chinese takeout. My server seemed distracted. I’m not sure if he had too many tables to deal with, or if he was new and poorly trained, or both. I won’t be back.

I LOVE the OSF, but I was disappointed visiting the location here in Saskatoon. I was greeted by greasy handprints on my window, and felt the cleaning was inadequate. I ordered a lunch lasagna and when I poked my finger in the center, it was warm but definitely not hot :(. Service was great.

We went to S. F. for my son's birthday. Service was very good, covid protocols were observed. We all ordered pasta, mine was luke warm when it arrived, the clam sauce was very bland. We all felt the portions were rather small. We told the server it was our son's birthday and the best they could do is a candle in the free spumone. A little disappointing.

This is the first time we were at the spaghetti factory and probably the last. The service wasn't the best, the wait time was not good at all. My daughter had a steak and had to send back as wasn't cooked enough, no taste to it either.

Orderd curbside pickup as our first experience here. Disappointed with portion size. Adult lasagna came in the SAME SIZED package as the kids pasta???? Orderd 2 childrens pasta entrees which are a great size for kids but the "adult" lasagna which was one 2x the price was in the same identical container. Save yourself some money and just order off the kids menu for curbside pickup - portion sizes don't change. Likely won't return again
