Pretty decent food, good service, our waitress was very patient and did a great job
Definitely worth a visit for good food and nice atmosphere. I will come here again to try different items in the menu :)
Had to wait a few minutes to be seated but apart from that we experienced good food and kind staff. It didn't really knock me out or wasn't particularly tasty but all in all an okay meal. A nice atmosphere is created due to the small train wagon in the restaurant.
Charming place, really good food and really nice place
Excellent food.. The pasta is so fresh when you tasted it and the ribs is so tender.
Reasonably priced food and drinks. The food was delicious and the service was amazing!
The Mediterranean Salad and the Spaghetti with Beyond Meat Meatballs exceeded expectations. The Spaghetti had a wonderful soft but firm consistency. The sauce and meatballs have a wonderful fresh flavor that really satisfies. Service is very fast. This restaurant is very welcoming and inviting. I ate here twice and my expectations were exceeded.
Comfort food at it's finest! Loved the service and the ambience. Chicken Parmigiana was out of this world!
Cozy place, but at 18:00 h. quite full. Family environment. Good service, and good variety of dishes. Great cost/benefit ratio. I'm sure I will.
It is delicious but expensive because there is less meat in these plates. All staff are polite and friendly.
Its design meant the founder of this place had a great idea of art, foods and culture. High quality and fresh and tasty meals.
Last year I took my partner to this place. This was less than 2 weeks after we lost our infant son. She was still on some rather light sedatives but I didn't think it was obvious. We were dressed well and have plenty of money. So when we were sat so far in the back, dispite walking us past plenty of empty tables, I tried to ignore it and made a joke about at least they didn't set up a table for us in one of the restrooms. My partner was obviously very uncomfortable and was in a huge rush to leave right after our meal. When we got out side I asked her if there was something I missed and she told me that our waiter had been standing almost the entire meal behind a post and behind my back watching us like we were going to steal the cutlery or something. I walked back in to speak with the manager and as soon as I looked around I realized we were the only non-whites. I didn't even bother sticking around to listen to there denials and weak excuses, but I'll never step foot in that place again. On top of all that, the food was so so. But how can you mess up spaghetti?
Beautiful and cozy place.....amazing decoration with a lot of details...vintage decor. Great service, food really good taste and quality. We loved to be there I highly recommend ❤❤❤❤
I was seated on the patio, and the two people seated in the table next to us were intoxicated. There was an empty bottle of wine left on the table. Personally I don’t think the staff handled this properly. This is supposed be a place for families to enjoy, and that’s not something people should see in a restaurant for all ages.
You will not be disappointed when you come here! Not only were the food and service amazing, the inside of this restaurant is beautiful! They have a little train car inside that's super fun!! My boyfriend took me here, and we both devoured everything we could. We had to get a cheesecake to go because we knew it was going to be delicious, but we were so stuffed from the other food!!! I highly recommend this restaurant! Plus, it's not very expensive, unlike most places in Gastown!!
Many times in the past I've gone to the old spaghetti factory the service was excellent and this time the service was great but and yes there's always a but when my lady friend and I left it was like someone fed me some exlax I had to rush to a washroom I thought maybe it's just me but then I found out my friend got deathly ill to I don't know why or how it turned out that way but definitely turned a nice evening into a complete disaster maybe they should look closer at the dates of stock before cooking it
I wasn't a fan of dish so hence the 3 stars. It wasn't bad, but was quite plain and boring for me. The ice cream was yummy :)) I may try other dishes and adjust this.
If you're looking for a warming and friendly place with great food and cheerful server, this is the way to go. You'll always get out of there with a full belly and a smile in your face!
I love how affordable the food is and also the ambiance. One of the most beautiful Old Spaghetti Factory in Canada.
Great place in gastown. Has a reputation for being haunted and has a rich history. Food was spectacular and the wait was minimal. There's an old train car to dine in. Absolute awesome place to dine.

Friendly staff, tasty dishes and fantastic internal decoration, makes this restaurant unforgettable. I love the old scale and bicycle in the reception area. And the train was mysterious for kids.
Very busy Friday night when I went for meal. Excellent service and meal. Thanks Serge for excellent service.
Tables were cramped and it might be because I am still not used to dining in pre COVID settings. I told the waitress and she kindly offered us to sit somewhere else. I was surprised because most waitress would have just shrugged and thought that the customer is just a whiner…anyway, food was tasty as always and it is great to see that you can get refills for coffee. Some TOSFs do not offer that.
Pasta is consistently al dente. We loved the Mizithra Cheese and Browned Butter Spaghetti. Excellent service.
A gem in Downtown Vancouver. Service, Taste, and Price - everything is top notch! I loved their onion soup a lot! I Will visit again and recommend to eat out here.
This place is hyped for no reason. The food is all ready made and not enjoyable. You’re not allowed to sit in the famous tram car and the atmosphere is like in a fast food restaurant at a high price. Service staff is very friendly.
We love the food, their clam chowder is really good and the pasta is the best. Service is also exceptional and prices is not that expensive. We love the ambiance and the interior with stained glass is so classic. We had a good time
Delicious pasta and quick service! I'm quite a fan of The Old Spaghetti Factory and this is one of the best locations I've been to. I enjoy that all the entrees come with soup or salad and spumoni for dessert as well as all the soft bread and garlic butter you could want. The prices are reasonable too, especially considering I ended up with leftovers.
Meal type
I enjoyed the $20 combo that came with an appetizer, main pasta, and dessert. There was complimentary bread and the pasta is quite large size. The dessert was a scoop of ice cream. The meal itself is a 7/10 but is very worth for the price in central downtown. They have patio seating too which was nice when dining in was not allowed. The staff were also okay and quick to seat us where we wanted.
Perfect for bringing your kids. Good value for money. Kind of slow servers. Tasty food. Tradicional place. We will come back.
Normal and good. Spaghetti and meatballs, minestrone soup, and bread. Spumani dessert. A good value meal.
Great atmosphere and pretty good service for how busy it was and having a large table to serve. Food was great and the price was very reasonable and loved how the meals include everything including a dessert.
I love this place. Good food, great vibe, amazing prices. It’s pretty big, so there’s room for large groups. The hosts are extremely nice. They also have gluten free pasta. I had the spaghetti and spicy meat sauce and minestrone soup. Amazing. Everyone else enjoyed theirs as well.
We arrive to the happy hour and the drinks were good. The food is good as well and nice service. I will just put less dressing to the salad so the Spinach doesn't get bland.
Delicious food and fantastic location. What a beautiful place to have an Old Spaghetti Factory, the staff are friendly too!
*Please be careful when you go to this restaurant for dinner if you have allergies. * We went to the Old Spaghetti Factory in Gastown for dinner today with our kids and my daughter has severe allergies to tree nuts. When the server asked us which type of ice cream the kids would like after dinner I asked what they had and he said there was one that was a mix of vanilla, pistachio and something else that I can’t remember, then I told him that my daughter has a sever allergy to nuts and he said they has just vanilla as well. I ordered her the vanilla ice cream and she only ate a few spoons from it and said she was full. About 5 minutes after we left the restaurant she started complaining about stomach pain and it got worse and worse to the point that she became lethargic and ended up throwing up on herself. I had a gut feeling that it could have been the ice cream and called the restaurant and asked if they used the same scoop or different scoops for the ice cream. The girl that picked up the phone and the general manager both confirmed that they use the same scoop for both ice creams. I had told the server that my daughter was severely allergic to pistachios and didn’t tell me that they use the same scoop and that there could be cross contamination. The manager did apologize and offered us a gift certificate which I didn’t want because we will not be going back there anytime soon after knowing how they handle their food. He said that they rinse the scoop if there is an allergy but if they don’t rinse it every time that means the food already has been cross contaminated. I am just glad that my daughter is ok and am hoping that they change their practice and take allergies more seriously.
Like this spot! Service, food portion sizes, quick service! Enjoyed it here Recommend
Classic family restaurant in gas town. Price is decent for vancouver. Good place for fam or friends night out.
So delicious food I just love to eat there if you wanna enjoy a good plate of pasta that is the place
I highly recommend their streamed mussels! It was so fresh so tasty We also tried their lasagna and it is also pretty delicious Ambition is beautiful and staff is friendly
Yummy food, great staff.. will return. Suggested if in the area.
This place is not worth the hype. The server who seated us was rude, we were the only people there and he sat us next to the bus cleaning station. (Fruit-fly-galore by the way.) So my girlfriend and I asked to move to another seat. He was pretty reluctant about it and muttered “that’s a different section” under his breathe. What’s the big deal? We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. The spaghetti was bland, the menu was boring. This is the type of restaurant you take your fussy child to.
Solid meal and a good price. Very busy on a Sunday evening, but was satisfied with the great service, big portions and tasty food.
The staff is nice but otherwise I don’t really understand the good ratings?!?! The food is not good at all ???? NO recommendation from me……
Good food great location. My uncle told me how they had come here when he was a young child for his sister's birthday
There were long waiting but it's worth. Servers are very kind and foods were good with reasonable prices. If you are looking for dinning near Gastown, I recommend this restaurant and strongly recommend to make a reservation. And also good for groups:)
If you are a person of colored-skin, you will definitely experience racism here from the staff and mamager. We booked for Friday in advance and drove from burnaby to Gastown. We had our vaccine and scan of id card. The only sentence they were saying was "a PHYSICAL ID is needed. They were not even looking at my id on my phone and I am wondering if all the white people sitting inside had a PHYSICAL ID with them. They decided not to let some colored people in and they were making excuses. We went to another restaurant 100 meters away and the only thing they did was scanning my vaccine proof and that was it. I was checking the government website and there is not even a single mention of physical id. I don't know how much more we should be involved in such racist behaviours against colored-skin immigrants.
Service
Visited early on a weeknight for my daughter's birthday and booked a table in the old trolley car. The ambiance in this place is so relaxed and very family-friendly. Kids and husband love the sourdough bread and whipped butters provided before the meal, like at all the locations. It's a bit difficult to find parking, however there are a handful of pay parking spots directly out front of the restaurant, and a few down the road. Gluten-free options available. I did not suffer a reaction post-meal so I consider that a win. The restaurant itself is quite large and spacious, social distancing was not a problem here, and all the staff were extremely safe in their food handling, and I did not see a single staff adjust their masks, which I've seen elsewhere and stopped going there. They only came within 6ft to drop off and pick up food - a total of twice, and menus were accessed from our own mobile phones via QR code. It took about an hour from start to finish, however I imagine to keep things safe and distanced between staff and customers, many trips to the sink needed to happen.
Great food, ambiance and reasonable prices. You get soup, a main course, ice cream and tea or coffee, all for $20 or so including tip! That's a pretty good deal and the best part is, it runs all day long!

I went here on a very nice date. He made a reservation and everything. Unlimited pop refills, bread just keeps coming too. Too bad the train was all booked up, because I was in the mood to see a ghost. You GOTTA try the spumoni

Yummy affordable drinks but the price is never worth what you get when it comes to food. The marinara sauce tastes like plain old tomato paste with pepper- Too much pepper I might add, and the baby back ribs, though perfectly cooked, were also thoroughly over peppered. Been numerous times over the years and the only reason I ever go is when it's for a work party or something where I haven't chosen the location. Atmosphere and area is great though, since it's Gastown.
Great place to eat. Gluten free pasta of high quality. Many selections. Every meal includes coffee, soup or salad, main course pasta, and spumoni ice cream. Perfect for families. Try the mizithra.
Great prices, good location, their meal its all included combo, (Jay was polite and fast to all of our needs. The place its self is wonderful, clean and lots to look around (theirs a train inside!! ) great place to bring all the family.

You get a full course meal for a good price. Food tastes good, and servers were friendly
I really like the coziness and old theme of this place. Food and service was good as usual.
Everything We ate here was very delicious. Stuffed ravioli has been the best dish by far. Seafood Fettuccine and spaghetti with marinara sauce are also very good. We just didn’t like the carbonara as it is not that eggy.
Meal type
Disappointed by appearance and taste The most delicious thing for this meal belongs to butter and fried :(
I have a theory about this place, and it’s that they want you to explode after eating such generous portions. They are as loaded as they are delicious. The bread is great and the butter, you’re basically puttig a cloud on your bread. The spaghetti was also very good. Overall, the quality of the meal I had was incredible for the price.
The Old Spaghetti Factory is THE classic tourist and local attraction that brings many families out of the suburbs or off the Cruise Ships for a healthy helping of pasta and bread. While some may argue that its not true Italian food or its been too commercialized over the past few years, there's no denying that the food is still very good. I have never had an issue with the service and there has always been a good balance of attentiveness and privacy. Since the pandemic their prices have gone up a bit, a little more than I'd personally like to be paying for a family meal, but the quality remains high and it is difficult to be disappointed with the "it's all included" menu.
Good prices and portions. Unfortunately, my daughter's plain spaghetti had just way too much butter in it... See 3rd pic. Other than that, seafood Fettucine alfredo was good although the prawns could have been bigger. French onion soup was on the salty side. Restaurant is huge and can accommodate large groups.
Test great and fresh , will be next time for sure and I will share on our youtube channel.
Dinner
Service was absolutely amazing, the meal was delicious and reasonably priced.
Loved it. We were visiting from Toronto and wanted some good homemade pasta and spaghetti. We found it here. I had the spaghetti with burnt butter and cheese~ which was to die for. Server was great, service was fast. Highly recommend.
The place has our traditional Canadian Italian pasta menu that it is so hard to find these days. I have longed for such food for a long time especially the fettuccine made of Spinach with Alfredo sauce, the sour bread... The manager and staff there are super nice and friendly - just like our old days in Vancouver...
Today October 6 2021 I ate one of the most delicious vegetarian meat ball with spaghetti I ever had. Super happy that I met this restaurant today! Thank you????
Service could use some work. Waited 20+ minutes to even place a drink order. Food is anything but authentic Italian. Pasta sauce was not fresh, cheap store bought at best. Will not be returning.
The food is not super amazing, but it is for the price! And the interior is very interesting.
Highly recommended this place. The hostess, server and their food, everything was perfect!
I really like the vibe and the service. Many things are included with the meal. I replaced my soup with french onion soup for 2.5 and I don’t regret it. That was so good. I won’t recommend ordering the chicken parm as it was not really special however chicken alfredo ravioli was really good and generally I believe their pasta and spaghetti dishes are very fine. I tried their lasagna before and that was good too. It’s good value too as you pay 20$ for the meal, soup/salad, and more.
Amazing service and delicious food!!
The price was reasonable but other than that, they seat ppl so close there was a lady who was coughing as hell all day we were super close with her it really irritate me, the clam soup was good, onion soup doesnt have taste and was very watery. I got lasagna and seafood pasta l, lasagna was overcooked, seafood and pasya not cooked enough. The ice cream was bruh you should not serve it. And service was interesting I am saying interesting because it is hard to find a word to explain it. She left us very long in the beginning then took orders and gave a bread when we finish it she did not even ask for another. I asked for water because no one refilled, she grabbed a glass of water with full ice. I asked for take out box she took all cutlery before I put my food to box. She really did not take care of us which was really rude. I am not planning to go there again.
Upon last visit, there was a man who was overdosing and dying on the sidewalk right in front of the restaurant. I tried to advise the staff, who did NOT call 911 promptly. The pure disregard for human life has been a haunting me ever since. Great meatballs.
This is such a gem. Great food, great service with a fantastic price. Where can you go wrong? I love how many courses they give for such an affordable price. Great selections as well.
Dinner
Excellent food and service, even when we arrived 10 minutes before closing. Wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
Nothing beats a meal here. It's all included! The bread comes warm and always satisfying, the pasta is excellent and dessert is just enough to finish the meal. Staff welcoming.
Amazing food as usual! So consistent. Thanks for the great service as well!

Food quality was not as expected, waited for 15 minutes afterthat they ask to stay 15 minutes more if want to sit at Patio, after 15 minutes they informed that they have short of staff so only inside dining is possible, we didn't appreciate this kind of answer.
It's always amazing this place, and the food it's sooooo good. I love this place.
Good food! Great service! Very reasonable price.
Omg. The best experience ever. We finally met the train conductor. Granted he was transparent but he was so kind.
I've been coming here since I was a young lad and still enjoy the spaghetti and meatballs! This is a fun place to go for dinner or lunch and the prices are very fair for the location. I hope to be eating here when I'm an old man as well.
Went their for the first time and it has now become my favourite spot. Yes not just because of food quality and taste, but because of fabulous customer service. The servant named Vishal was very kind and humble to catter all our request with smile and demomstrated marvelous customer handling skills. Much recommended place, keep up the good work!
Beautiful interior and kind survers. Godd price and yummy food makes me happy.

I like the all inclusive pricing, if you like to eat well, you can't go wrong here, the value for money is great for downtown. If you are a tourist visiting Gastown and want a meal that won't break the bank, this is the place to go. It cost us $9 just to park for 90 minutes, so for us we have other options, we won't do that very often. The service was really good and they don't let the scamdemic ruin the experience.
We reserved for four people a few days ahead, a friend of mine didn’t have her physical id card, but she had a scan of her drivers license and of course her proof of vaccination. They didn’t let us in!!! The guy insisted on having a physical card! You need proof? That is the proof! They were so ignorant and repeating a sentence: we need a physical id! We go to restaurants all the time and such things happen but showing a proof always works. I just read the BC’s policy and I see that they don’t say the id should be physical! The Old Spaghetti Factory, thank you for ruining our night! We went to some other restaurant and they didn’t even mention it! I suspect that people in Old Spaghetti Factory didn’t like color of our skin!
I love the ambience of this restaurant. I got bam bam shrimp for appetizers, it was amazing. For entrée I got manicotti, it was average and could use a little more seasoning. Overall I had a great experience there. Their complimentary bread was a cherry on the top.

Love the restaurant. Glad to see they are adapting to the times. Call first for a reservation. Know what you want before hand is helpful too. I did find the staff a little more less social. Like refills on drinks weren't given. The prices have raised too, so don't be shocked. We are a family of 3 and paid 75. So basically 25 per meal. Still a great night out.

Service was the best in my Vancouver life, but I don't really understand why this restaurant is so famous in Gas town. It was so bland and soup was nothing special.
Dinner
I have to say - I was so pleasantly surprised by my experience here I couldnt even believe it. While wandering the cobble streets of Gastown, on a late summer's eve, my partner and I were met with a large a bustling patio filled with flowers and heat lamps, the smell of fresh baked bread caught our noses and we decided to stay. I was beyond delighted to see that not only were there many vegetarian options on the menu, OH, pardon me, - fresh bread and garlic butter just arrived at our table - by our very friendly and professional waitress. Yes, I would like... wait a second, is that my most favorite wine on the menu!? Red Rooster from the Okanagan?? Yes please! And wow, yes of course you have beyond meat meatball spaghetti! Swoon! My (giant and fairly poured) glass of wine arrived very soon after - as did our salads and yes.. more bread! Before I knew it I was swimming in vegan meatball heaven while the sun set through the hundred year old trees of Gastown, the evening glow still on the flowers and lights strung throughout the patio of the old red brick building. What a dreamy experience. For a moment, I felt as if I might have been on the cobble streets of Italy herself. Not long after we satiated our pasta indulgence we were brought the OSF famous Spumoni ice cream.. well I'll be damned.. Amazing! And just when I thought our experience could not possibly get any better, get this.. our waitress mentions that while I'm looking for the bathroom, keep an eye out because legend has it, this place is also HAUNTED! Ok, so wait - you're telling me there is the possibility I may also see a ghost!? Now come on! If that is not a complete dining out experience I dont know what is! Not to mention, there is an actual CABOOSE inside the restaurant! And YES you can also eat in it! 10 out of 10!!!
perfect meal, lovely atencion from servers, the drinks absolutely delicious, totally recommended ❤
Awesome service. Fantastic food quality. Great prices! Love this place!
Had a buddy visiting from Ontario and we came here for my birthday. 1st time ever here for both of us. Our food was perfect, the service was excellent, and our waitress (Seana) was on top of everything and very personable. I will definately be back.

Server Joshua was great! Very friendly and helpful with food selection. Food ready very fast (notices in Manitoba it takes 20-40 minutes to get the food not matter how busy restaurant is. In BC 7-14 minutes. Amazing!)
Great place to eat. The food is good and the price is very affordable. The kids meal is a differential since it's very good and cheap. I got the New York steak and the point of the meat was perfect. Will be back there for sure.
There was a long line before we can be seated but food was delicious. I love Ravioli with mascarpone.
Wow, this place was amazing and did not disappoint! Delicious food with amazing service. Would definitely recommend this place to others! Good job and keep up the great work!
nice spot to eat. we were there in the evening. the waiters were really friendly. the food was delicious, i had the thai curry linguine.
Best restaurant ever I when here a ton as a kid and its just as amazing as I remember
I hate to say this restaurant has gone down hill in food quality.
Family eating at its best. A full 3 course meal at a single price. Homey with lots of room for laughter and kids.
Food is not so good, spaghetti not even better than fast food. Clam chower and onion soup are also like can food. Steam mussel is just ok but not outstanding. However, staffs are cheerful and friendly.
I'm used to eat there. Full of tourists all year long but I wouldn't consider this place as a tourist trap. It's just simple italian cuisine at an affordable price. Great ambiance and decor. However, it's noisy as hell (avoid the outdoor patio in particular) and the booths are uncomfortable for the back. And they should consider having an extra waitress on the floor at noon. But still great food no matter what.
The food was great, I ate so much I thought I might have injured myself. I have no regrets.

Good service. Food was okay. The chorizo pasta somehow tastes like strawberry jam .... price is good in Gastown. It is usually busy I guess. If you are just looking for a casual dinner, this could be your option.
Always great! wish they hadn't discontinued the spaghetti with clam sauce tho.
Vancouver best kept secret. Good food Good service Good price

Popular place and good experience but nothing extraordinary on the food. Restaurant inside looks amazing
Went here last week for husband's 78th b'day dinner-hadn't been for a few years. Had reservation and manager cleared and sat us at a window table which we asked If could have. He was very kind to do this. We had an awesome young waiter named Aaron who had the best people skills we haven't seen in many years for someone so young working with the public-he will go far in the service industry. The food was very good as hasn't changed in portions nor quality and still at a reasonable price. All in all a very remarkable experience and won't wait another 10 years to come back and hope to get Aaron as our waiter when we do.
Service was really good, the atmosphere was very mellow. The prices are very reasonable. However, I may be biased as in Australia the chicken "Parma" is a thing. There are websites dedicated to it! If you are looking for a good parma in Vancouver, this is not the place. Think oversized chicken nugget with melted cheese.
This is a classic restaurant that is great for families. There is a wide variety of foods on the menu. There is something for everyone. There is a train that you can eat in but very difficult to get seats there. The good thing is you can still take your kids up to it to pretend to drive it. All entrees come with ice cream and spumone is an option which is a nice treat.
If you're in the Heritage district of Vancouver, Gastown as locals call it, The Old Spaghetti House is the perfect choice to have a delicious and fair priced lunch or dinner. The menu offers a variety of dishes for you to enjoy plus a variant of all included options which have soup or salad and main plate for a very nice evening price. The Art Deco decoration with their own cable car wagon gives the place as cozy an en warm atmosphere.
Great services, huge menu. Anyone staying in downtown Vancouver needs to eat here as it's the best bang for your buck.
Came here because people told us it was haunted. We asked to be seated by the train car, where the conductor ghost shows up according to local myth. Our glass of water slide across the table during the meal 10/10 experience, would come again

What a lovely place. Everything is on point. Perfect location; affordable price; unique design; awesome staff and food is worth of flying from Philadelphia. It was three of us, we all got different orders and we all loved it. I kidding you not if you in Vancouver get in there and get the best food for a great price...
It is what it is. Cheap food for a cheap price . I should have known better than to order wings here but I did. The fat was noticeable under the batter, and it wasn't pleasant. Caesar salad has an abundance of dressing - maybe you like maybe you don't. The calamari is greasy, the batter is bland, they're also covered in raw red onion which didn't really do anything for me. The drinks are a reasonable price, and the pasta matches the rest of the theme. Not quite sure why this place is so popular. Go to Basil pasta bar. That place ????.
Loved the phenomenal chicken alfredo ravioli at this place. Lovely staff, nice patio and cool interior design. Highly recommended!
Was great food was awesome loved the lasagna and garlic bread
Dinner
Lovely place. Nice lunch special and a lovely Irish waitress. Highly recommend
Going here to eat is the best choice to do because their pastas are fantastic and the workers are very friendly and the place can easily be find.
Meal type
I am really happy that the OSF has gluten free meals that are suitable for people with Celiac Disease. The only challenge is that for lunch the meals are rather large (they are the same menu as dinner) where the regular menu has lunch type items on them. It would be great to be able to order a couple of appetizers instead. I seem to always be eating the goat cheese salad. Other than that it is great to be able to visit this restaurant for a safe meal.
Service
Delicious Spaghetti in large portions. If you're looking for a creamy spaghetti, pesto linguine is a super tasty choice. Polite and professional staff and spacious restaurant.
Food was good. Restaurant was not busy yet service was haphazard, at times non-existant. Waiter said he'd just started 3 months previous. Perhaps I'm unreasonable in expecting him to know to bring the pre-meal drinks/wine/coffee BEFORE the entrees. We were a group of 5 gathered for a remembrance lunch after the passing of a dear longtime friend. XoXo
Service, food, cozy place, everything is amazing, it's worth, very clean , I loved it
30min wait at 6pm on a Friday. Average spaghetti and sauce, tasty meatballs. Bread with butter, soup, ice cream and coffee is included in the price. Old timey atmosphere.
Amazing place. Awesome ambience. Beautiful staff! Great food!! Try the Manager's recommended from the menu.. If super hungry try meat ball spaghetti. Dont forget to add on their lip smacking fries ????
Fun atmosphere and decorations. Good service. The food was okay. Our chicken and fettuccine was very oily and not that tasty. 3.5 stars.
First time here, heard great things. But it seemed like a Denny's franchise restaurant. Thought it was a more high end pasta house. My gf makes better pasta, but I love the soup n salad. Drinks were ok
Nice restaurant in Gastown. The food tastes good and staffs are really friendly.

Service
The old spaghetti factory is the Air Bud of restaurants. It’s kid friendly, has a fun and frivolous atmosphere, and at the end you are somewhat satisfied. But repeat experiences lead to disappointment. Overall the best part was the service, prompt, accurate, polite and friendly. The food was on time but given the size of the place you know it’s here for quantity of people per hour. So it’s really not something to write home about. But you can get your picture taken in an old street car. So that’s nice. The food itself has great value and is quite palatable.

Our server, Alice, was absolutely phenomenal! We are a family of 5 (with young children). Alice put a rush on our entrees, was very good about getting us fresh breads and waters and was very patient with our kids and their dinosaur stories. The food was excellent as well. We will be back for sure!
Dinner
Very nice and traditional place to eat. It is not the best Italian food you'll ever have, but, for the price, it is very good!
The environment is warm and welcoming, decorated in an old-fashioned style. I ordered the 1-pound baby back ribs with spaghetti marinara, for 20.75$. The food is tasty. Every dish comes with bread and butter, minestrone or green salad, and ice cream at no extra cost. Service is quick and friendly. The price is really cheap for the quality and quantity of the food, especially considering the downtown location (Gastown) and the nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing customer service. Appreciate the fun atmosphere. Food was delicious and the coffee with the meal was good Staff work very diligently. I was impressed by how the servers were helping each other out in checking up on tables, teamwork was efficient
I got the mozzarella triangles and the spare rips and I loved it! Went during dine out and it was delicious.
Always enjoy Spaghetti Factory anywhere. Great service. A lot of wait time but worth it. Atmosphere is always Good.
Totally cost benefit guaranteed! Bread + soup or salad + main dish + ice cream (all included) for affordable prices, I guess the most expensive dish was $22.00 the ambience is very well decorated as a classic Italian restaurant, it is really cozy. The food is tasty, I just felt my chicken parmigiana was under salt but was yummy. Also, it did not take too much time to the dishes arrived, good service. First time visiting this italian restaurant and I really like it. You get full for a good price and savory food.
Excellent place for family meal. Love the clam chowder and seafood risotto so much! The renovation is unique with a cargo inside. Kids would love this place.
One of my fav osf ever. I love this place hands down. I can’t wait to return and get my usual order! Lovely location and nice staff
Made a reservation for 16. Ended up being 18. Very accommodating staff. Food was amazing.... a little sad my goto meal has been taken off the menu... but the meal I settled for was 110% worth it. Thank you again
Very good food at reasonable.orives and good size portions. In short very good value restaurant. In addition, a very family friendly environment with a very nice service. A warm, fun and comfortable establishment worthy of not only one but repeat visits too
Meal type
The food was extremely bad. The calamari had calamari sized onions on it and wasn’t cooked enough, the chowder which you would hope would be no rocket science was bland, thick like paste and extremely thickened with corn starch. Almost everything we ordered was microwave dinner quality, including the drinks which we got doubled. But the Barback added a gallon of cheap grenadine and served syrup, and this was at 11:40 am. It’s the kind of place you come to fill your belly and get out. Still after 92$ for two, wasn’t cheap for us. Hopefully they can train there staff better on quality control, with so many options around you have to do better
The price is affordable by Vancouver standard. It’s a family friendly restaurant. We were there for lunch on a Sunday and there were a lot of families. Food was decent for the price we paid. Nothing to complain about.
Service absolutely ruined it. I phoned days ahead and made a reservation for 2 people for the early evening and let them know it was my mom's birthday. It was not very busy at all but it took about 15 minutes just to get our first drink order in. Our server seemed to be annoyed that we were there but there appeared to be more than enough staff on shift. We weren't even halfway through our starter salads (which are more dressing than salad) and cocktails before our entrees came. When they brought my spaghetti they just took my salad away without asking so I couldn't even finish it (and I actually enjoy heavily dressed salads). We had to flag down another server twice just to get our server to come to our table. And all we wanted was a glass of wine each then asked for a box for our leftovers! When it was time for coffee/tea, I asked what kinds of tea they offer. The server replied "Well what kind do you want?" I asked again about herbal tea, same response, so I said "I don't know, mango?" (light-heartedly) and then from behind furrowed brow came "we only have peppermint herbal tea"...I just don't understand the attitude. Also we had to wait a really long time to get the bill. I asked our server how the night was going. "Not good." Sour-faced and miserable. Uggggggghhhhhh. Happy Birthday Mom. We listened to them sing Happy Birthday to another table but there was nothing for my mom, and I did specify when I made the reservation and mentioned it during our drink order as well. I can't even believe I tipped what I did but I feel sorry for restaurants right now. In different times I would have complained to the manager and insisted part of our meal be discounted. We came here for nostalgia more than the food (which is mediocre at best) but we won't be back.
Pasta was good. Taste is always consistent here. Improvements that can be made is the drinks. Orange juice that comes with the kids meal and Shirley temple.
Went there for their 50th anniversary with 1970s prices. Amazing ambience, old building vibe. The glass lights are a beautiful touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lost my bag, the staff kept it safe for me the next day. Parking is limited (front right corner- paid parking).
Dinner
This place is amazing. Friendly, cozy , great value for money and the food is delicious.
Was told to wait 30 mins actually was 55 mins. Service was good other then asked for more bread and never recived it even after a second attempt I would recommend reservations and getting all the bread first.
Probably good for family with young children with undeveloped taste buds. Very average food.
I like the ambiance and location. In general, all TOSFs offer good variety on the menu and excellent service. Although some popular dishes like the Chicken Parmigiana have slightly changed over the last years, their combos are still a great value for the money. I've come to this particular location many times and recommend it.
Not what what I thought it would be .... my very first visit 4 years ago was better
Great environment and fantastic service! The food was delicious and I will really look forward to visiting again!
For the price you get huge portions and service was outstanding. Glad we went and suggest it to anyone on a budget and/or friends and family. No dress code.

Family-friendly place. Kids welcome. Lunch specials till 2:30. Salad or soup plus coffee & Tea included in price of meal. Gluten-free pasta and side's available.
Staffs were nice and friendly. Service was great, food was delicious.
Good food but kind of slow service. We had to wait a lot for our food and got a few of our drinks mixed up.
Ironically, the spaghetti and meatballs is the worst dish that they offer, would not recommend. Their other pasta dishes are decent.
Great food and even better service. Adriana is a great host!!!! Excellent restaurant one of the best we have been to in Downtown Vancouver!!!!!
Average OSF experience. Kind of felt like we were being rushed out. But food was good, drinks were what we needed and we felt ok about our obnoxious children being themselves.
The service was ok, nothing beyond normal. However, the food was exquisite and there were a lot of options in the menu.
Cheesecake was so yummy! Spaghetti ????
One of the faves in the city! We love how they value customers with the complementary ice cream/tea after the meals! It just feels like being a valued guest! Some VIP kind of feeling.
Awesome place food was great and the atmosphere and decor is so cool
Friendly servers. The bread is fresh and yummy. I had a big serving of carbonara I couldn’t finish it. Great portion and cheap.

Slightly better than typical chain pasta. Good service and fast to our table. Overall, good night.

They nail the vibe they’re going for. If you’re looking for a family friendly restaurant in Gastown with a good bang for your buck you can’t go wrong with old spaghetti factory. Came with a young family just before 6pm it was busy but they were fast and attentive. Kids loved the trolly in there.

Love the atmosphere, food was great ! And staff was incredibly friendly, COVID-19 precautions were well in place. Cute spot for a date for a meal with a friend.
Best place in Gastown if you like a full dinner, very affordable awesome pasta dishes! And exelent service, big patio lots of space

Great food in a retro yet original set of Gastown. A MUST when you are in Vancouver, Just be patient the waitting List may go up to 1 hr.
A very old and authentic place in the city. I love how beautiful the decoration is. The food is very affordable, yet amazing in taste. Each meal comes with an appetizer (salad or soup) and an ice cream dessert. And, don’t skip the ice cream!
Service
Interior design perfect. Pasta Alferedo was delicious, will get back to explore more.
This restaurant is just fabulous! I did enjoy my food but I enjoyed much more all the beautiful interior designs and details! If I lived in Vancouver, I'd just go there every other day to enjoy their wonderful space!

Service
Extremely generous prices for bread, salad, pasta and ice cream all together. The atmosphere is cute too
Great food with great ambiance. Totally loved the food.
I don't do reviews that often but this place deserves more than 5 stars. Order the "Chicken Alfredo with Mushrooms and Mascarpone Cheese Ravioli" IT'S EXTREMELY GOOD, after eating out you can die peacefully
Great food but our waitress was not very friendly. Food was really too!!!
One of the worst meals I've ever sat down to in life... Don't get me wrong... I absolutely love this chain of restaurants, we usually go to the one in Victoria and it's amazing I would highly recommend anything else in this area... we where ignored to the point where we had to go to the bartender for our drinks The food was cold and our waitress would just look at us blank and walk away
As usual one of the best restaurants. My husband and myself have a great time and our dishes ???? ???? So delicious ???? ???? Same as Winnipeg Manitoba Old spaghetti factory ???? simple delicious ????
It's a timeless classic! Speghiti and everything good under the sun that goes with it. You will get a table pretty fast we've been a few times never waited more than 10 mins.food is good chain style fare at least you know what you're getting. Staff really friendly and chatty.family friendly kids and adults alike enjoy the full size caboose.
Loved everything about this restaurant! Huge portions for really reasonable prices. Decor was unique and interesting, with a cozy feel. Temperature and flavour for the food were on point with what I expected. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Would definitely come again.
I ate “Seafood Linguine Mariana” with Belgian Moon”. It was perfect!
It has an average taste. But can’t guarantee about the quality of food. Good thing here is the price. You get a lot for the less price you pay.
Very nice and interesting place, food not very good, a tourist place.
Great value for such a prime location. I ordered the lasagna and it was very good and filling. The train in the middle of the restaurant gives the whole restaurant a historical museum/cozy kind of ambiance. A $17 three-course meal in the middle of Gas Town - who can beat that?

Okay, so let’s preface this by talking about the *basically* unlimited sourdough loaves, with some garlic butter on the side. There’s really nothing better than free bread. The baked French onion soup was fantastic, as was the Caesar salad (I couldn’t help myself from stealing some from my children.) The pasta was amazing, with a really vast selection, and the cocktail menu was surprisingly inexpensive. Overall we had a really great time, the service was great and it was a good place for kids & adults alike.
The mussels are fantastic (we came from the states, we've never seen mussels on the menu in any of the California locations!). The waitstaff were attentive and pleasant, and the ambience and theme fit great with the Gastown location. Just a note to anyone coming from the US: the creamy pesto dressing isn't available for side salads up here.
I like this Old Spaghetti Factory location. Didn't quite like my experience at another countryside location. Their "It's All Included" meals are awesome & I love their bread and butter.
Absolutely wonderful. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Wonderful to my children. Meals were delicious. The atmosphere is unique and special. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Although the food was really good, the service was lacking. Our waitress seemed annoyed at having to explain to our big family table how the menu works and didn’t seem impressed with us as first timers. The pastas were great, definitely better then most places where it’s often over-cooked or bland. I got to taste 5 dishes, were family after-all, and can’t complain about the variety, the portions, or the flavour. It got busy after we arrived so there was an opportunity missed to woo us and try to get us all back in. I have to admit it was really affordable for a large family celebration and we all rolled out of there stuffed and happy.
We visited Old Spaghetti Factory in gastown and it was one of best Italian places I’ve been in vancouver. It only took 10 min to be seated. We ordered chicken alfredo ravioli which came with hot sourdough bread and garlic butter. The whole meal came with a super delicious soup and dessert of choice ( ice cream and coffee or tea). The chicken alfredo was heavenly flavoured and we really enjoyed its creamy texture and the parmesan on top. The service we received at this restaurant was great and staff were so attentive.
We got 3 meals to go, they were very small, only one set of cutleries, barely any cheese, provided soup was extra $2.50 for just 3 bites, and bread was raw. Not enough effort was made to make our meal enjoyable.
We ate here last night. Clean and fast service. I love that it’s a full meal for the low price. Can’t go wrong with that! We ordered the Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo, Chicken Alfredo with Mushroom and Mascarpone Cheese Ravioli and Linguine alle Vongole. Amazing flavours! Highly recommended in the gastown area, 25 minutes wait but we walked around while waiting. Definitely worth the wait!
Very cozy & nice old style restaurant, Italian cuisine pastas & lasañas are great. Good price with excellent service. New in town, must go. .
It's not authentic Italian, and more of a place for older teens and young adults or families, really. It is definitely not a dining experience for people who are serious about food with an ambience appropriate to a more sophisticated cuisine, but it's only a one of a chain so it can't be compared against such restaurants. One can expect something very similar to Earl's or Cactus Club or any other of the chain restaurants, in every detail.

Delicious food, good service and such a beautiful old fashioned place!! Meatballs are very good, the rest is also good. Overall value for money is okay
This is a really good family restaurant, especially for tourists because it's in Gastown, the food is quite straightforward, nothing too spicy or extravagant. It's great for like a dinner and movie date night too. The interior is like a Victorian Era Saloon, so comfortable in there. Legend has it, that the spirit of a former train engineer still comes around at night, it's chill though.
I love this restaurant!! The food is absolutely delicious, the service is wonderful and the decorations are quite beautiful. Worth the wait.
Absolutely delicious! I had the pesto linguine and I have no complaints. Took my dessert to go, the tiramisu, and it was perfection. I enjoyed the service and the food was phenomenal.
Good food and great value for your money. Starter, main and dessert for one price. It's not gourmet, but the crowds tell you it's worth coming back again and again.
One of the best places here in Vancouver. Menu is excellent. Service is great. Nice design indoors bringing back some good old memories. Will come back
I had the baby rib with pasta which is highly recommended. The classic old american style atmosphere of the restaurant made the food more tasty. And the service would probably be one of the best in town????
Service
Went in just for an affordable place for a friend's birthday but left blown away by the service all 6 of us got from Samara. We are all super thankful for the service we got, I was the guy who spilled my drink on the table and she didn't was such a pro about it. Honestly best service I've got in Vancouver, Thank you
Unlimited bread, unlimited butter. It is so delicious. Great value. I definitely recommend you give the original spaghetti a try. It is amazing. Best spaghetti you can have. The old aesthetic of the restaurant add an extra touch. It is a beautiful restaurant. Terrific experience. Best for family outings. Go give it a try!
Placed order for drinks, took quite awhile and when arrived our server forgot one of our drinks, it took a long time before he returned with it, the calamari was really soft and didn't have taste. We went for a celebration dinner. It was busy by the time we got our drinks, and felt that our server had got to busy to keep all the guests satisfied.
It's wonderful food. Parking is a bit of a chore but once you get past that small hurtal it's good food all around. They accommodated us for our fathers 91st birthday. The food was perfect.
It was a good experience. Started off with the baguette with garlic butter. I expected the spaghetti to arouse all the taste buds; it was a bit on the bland side. While, lasagne was delicious. And the sides were delightful. The pizza like this was something I had never tried before.

I loved the atmosphere, and the lights. the spaghetti was delicious, the bread with garlic spread was yummy and the final ice cream was awesome , thank you.
Nice and clean, good food. Perfect reasturant.
I liked the interior design and their all included meal option. My pasta was fine, I would work more on the food presentation though.

Lovely restaurant in Gastown neighborhood, opens at 11, has a lot of tables and even an old tram inside! The menu is really varied and comes with soup/salad, dessert and coffee. The staff were wonderful and we get a very high quality lunch for a good price! Totally recommended.

It was a unique experience at this restaurant such that it's vibes are similar to having dinner on a ship (ancient times). From customer service to food taste, hygiene and prices ...everything was soo good. Loved it ????
Was at the patio and sat for 10 mins and lucky enough the bus person found our server. He came and just took the order without any greet. He spent lots of caring on other table but ours. After soup and salad were dropped off, it took another 25+ mins for the main course too arrive. Surprisingly the lasagna was cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. The "A" (Red framed glasses) told said it is normal for the waiting time. He didn't know what he was doing at all. Worst lunch ever and I wouldn't not go back for sure.
Great friendly service, right from when walked in the door. An the food was mmm aamazing
Good food, great value, excellent coffee service. Plus, you can't beat the location, close to the steam clock, love my city!!
The atmosphere and waiting staff were very nice. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and was so dissatisfied with the quality of the chicken. It was rubbery with less texture and flavor than a chicken nugget. I couldn't even finish half of it. The other two in my party however said their pastas were good. They should be embarrassed to be serving such a cheap over processed chicken patty and I can't recommend ordering it but I have also had good pasta here in the past so if that's what you're looking for this is an alright place to get it. Their "all included" menu is a fair price but I did have to ask a couple times for the coffee that was supposed to come with dessert before I recieved it.

Awesome restaurant with great service and food! Highly recommend. My wife and I shared the Chicken Alfredo and they even brought it to us in separate dishes. Our server, Edward, was very attentive and the staff in general were friendly. If you haven't heard of this restaurant before, order a main meal and you get bread, soup, ice cream and a hot beverage, as well as your order of course, all included! Food was deliciously rich, bread was warm and I had a pint of Belgian Moon for $5 as part of their happy hour which was super refreshing. There's also outdoor seating and naturally, in these times of physical distancing, all precautions are well implemented. Another plus, it's in Gastown! So a great lunch stop as you're checking out all the sights.
Great place located in the heart of Gastown. The place itself also has a great vibe and character. There is a train wagon inside the restaurant which makes it looks like a museum. You pay for 3 course meal and anything you choose from the menu includes an appetizer and a dessert.
Service
Excellent service in a unique environment
Great food for great value. From appy to dessert....all covered. Service was also excellent on this visit.

Underwhelming. We were initially seated by the bus table and by the garbage when the restaurant was empty and were met with an unfriendly attitude when requesting to switch to a different table. Food was mediocre. Found the fettuccine noodles to be too thick and overcooked. We just moved to Vancouver and have been looking to find the best place to get spaghetti but this place just wasn’t it!
Food was good They forgot to give us salad We understood because it was a busy Friday
Family friendly restaurant with great atmosphere. You get an appetizer and dessert with your pasta dish. The prices are great for what you get. It’s a great place to go with large groups of people for any occasion. They have a large selection of pasta dishes to satisfy almost everyone. They are consistent with all their locations, so don’t hesitate going to any of the other ones.
Great quality and prices. Recommended for sure. Nice place and very cozy
The food was good, polite service, and very decent prices. I enjoyed my time here and would recommend to a friend.
A lovely place for chilling out. The quality of foods are great and prices are fair. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed our time here. The vibe was fun, and the food was decent. Their pricing used to better align with their quality. It's a bit off now. But still a fun spot to grab a casual bite.
A great place to eat, whether it's for lunch or dinner. Great service and great food. Highly recommend the old spaghetti factory in gastown
Great place for family and friends to get together, and lots of fresh bread and butter. Good variety of pastas. Love the decor . And kids like sitting inside the train caboose to eat.
Dinner
Excellent service, food, value, ambience. Gastown charm.
My favourite location for fancy dates as a student! You get a lot of delicious food (including garlic bread, soup/salad, ice cream, tea) for two for around 40$. Also very classic decoration.
Amazing variety of food, great ambience. A perfect place to celebrate occasions!
My daughter and husband came over from Victoria yesterday with their two and four Year old children. Since we used to bring my own children here from newborn to 18, for a guaranteed fun experience we decided to celebrate my granddaughter’s fourth birthday there. What beautiful servers. Super kind and attentive, even noticing the tears when the sparkler went out and lighting another one! Reservation system works superbly, no wait! Will be here next year for sure.
I love this place because have all included deals, which comes with soup or salad, bread, ice cream and coffee. I think the best dish ever is the Alfredo Chicken Ravioli. Always I go there with my friends they agree that my dish is more delicious than theirs. The clam soup is very tasty too. The ice cream, I’m not fan of mint flavor so I usually don’t order spumoni, so vanilla is my favorite. When I go there with my partner we usually spend around 40 CAD together.
Service
Good food, big portions, cute decorum, average prices. In short - I would come again.
Same old same old!! In an entirely good way. A must do when we spend any time in YVR is a trip to The Ole Spag Factory. Never disappoints, just gotta remember to make a reservation or get in early. Haven’t had a bad experience here.
Food is tasty, service is good and prices are too!
I love the old Spaghetti Factory wherever it is located. This is more for where it is located which is Gastown A small street located near downtown with lots of eateries and nice night life. Cobble stone walk ways, brick buildings. The old Spaghetti Factory it self was big old fashioned but very busy, one of the busiest in the area. Must visit neighbourhood and restaurant.
Beautiful environment, pretty hefty food, complimentary appetizer and dessert. I liked our waiter Edwardo. He was very friendly and helpful. In fact he is one of the reasons I will be back to this place again.
Awesome comfort food at reasonable prices!

The "All Included" and the cozy ambiance are the reasons why me and family keeps coming back here.
I have been here many times. Very affordable pasta dishes and tasty salt and pepper wings. I love that the pasta orders come with salad, ice cream and tea. I usually get the seafood linguine which has a decent amount of seafood. They also have Happy Hour which is 25% of appetizers and a selection of $5 drinks.
We went over there for lunch. Surprisingly not the best pasta in town. Also we have an 8 year old daughter. When my wife asked for the washroom , the waitress said we have to order first to use the washroom!!!!!! Which descent Canadian denies bathroom to an 8 year old? They were very rude and condescending. I would never go here again.
Everytime we visit a old spaghetti factory we enjoy the food and the atmosphere. Great all inclusive meals and lot of different spaghetti and pasta to choose from.
Meal type
Such a great value for money. All dishes come with soup/salad, bread and butter, coffee/ tea, and ice cream at the end. It's a great meal for just $20. Gas town is a charming area and adds to the experience especially if you're sitting out in the patio.
I love this place because they have good and fast serving. Their most good food is spaghetti and baked shrimp. This restaurant is more delicious than Italian kitchen !
The waitress we had seemed put out that we were there, didn't wait for us to finish speaking before walking away and pretty much dropped the plates in front of us abruptly.... Maybe a career change is in store for you. Young gent in the same section saw to it that we had everything we needed so kudos to him ???????? Food was yummy, no complaints there! Kudos to the chef! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good waitress would have made this a 5 star
I enjoy the decor in this place, it’s an icon of Vancouver. The food is ok. It’s good to take out the kids and it’s not very expensive. The service is quick and that’s the only downfall to the quality of food. It is Vancouver’s Olive Garden. Pre made but decent
Meal type
The "its all included" menu is a great value. U get a lot off food only 20 bucks. I absolutely loved the Caesar salad that comes with it. 10/10! Would highly recommend. Unfortunately, can't say the same about the seafood fettuccine. Its was bland and lacked any seasoning whatsoever. The chocolate-pestasio ice cream was delightful.
I went to have dinner with my friend and first we had to wait in line, it didn't take more than 15 min which was reasonable for us. After we took a table the person who served us brought some homemade bread with butter (this one seemed to be garlic flavour or something but it was absolutely delicious). Then we ordered Bolognese pasta which comes with a soup (we decided to have onion this time) and dessert. To begin, this onion soup was paired with bread crumbs and melted cheese on top. I am not a very fan of onion but this soup was not too big, just a little salty but really tasty. I really enjoyed the flavour of this soup. Afterwards, the server brought the pasta; this amazing dish is a chicken Milanese with cheese on top. I honestly can say that it was very well cooked with some tomato sauce and the pasta came with the Bolognese sauce too, ready for me to mix it. These ingredients tasted so good that I enjoyed the whole dinner (+ the bread with was amazing). Also, the server was so friendly and always checking if we needed something else. At the end we had coffee and we will definitely come back again to try more dishes.
The place is really good . It was one of a few restaurants that was open in Christmas eve that made it overcrowded yet their services and the quality was great. I love the steak and the appetizer, dessert, and the side made it super good.
over all great experience !! it was great food, from the bread till the end ice cream, super great prices and the staff are so unbelievably friendly!!! will come again and we definitely will recommend! the vibes and the atmosphere in there is amazing and we loved the old train car in the middle! 10/10 would give more than 5 stars if i could.
One of the really good Italian restaurants. They have an all you can eat menu that includes soup or salad, tea or coffee, dessert and a main dish. Absolutely love their pesto linguine and fresh green crisp salad with their Italian house dressing. The pasta sauce is so fresh and yum. They also serve hot bread with butter which taste so good. Didn’t like their steamed mussels though. Was expecting it to be in butter garlic sauce but instead came in tomatoes broth. This place is def a must visit. The staff is very hospitable and friendly. Really good service.
This place is my go-to place in Gastown. You can easily fill your stomach with the "it's all included combo" and they give you ice-cream on top of that. The washrooms are well maintained and even when it is crowded, the maximum waiting period is 20 mins(assuming you have a big group of people). The thing I love the most about this place is the hand made butter that they serve. Absolutely delicious :)
There are plenty of foods to choose, great wine selection. Food is good but it did not exceed my expectations. Theres a long line before you can be seated, order comes longer than the normal, nice vintage items inside. Its worth a visit if you want to be on the safe side of food choice, and dine at Gastown's Water St.. but I would rather go somewhere else. Theres so much to explore around Vancouver. :)
Classic full course spaghetti spot in the heart of gastown. Always large portions, quality food with value prices and great service. They have also added beyond meatballs to their spaghetti entrees for a vegan option. Well done. Have been back a few times.
Amazing staff, great food and of course, probably haunted ????❤️ Instagram @theunknownparanormal

Great place to have a meal and see part of history. Watch out for the ghosts who hang around this place.
I know that the Old Spaghetti factory is famous for its portion size but the flavor was very tasty too. I will definitely go back.
It’s a beautiful place , there’s a real train in the restaurant. Reasonable price with satisfying potion. About 10 to 20 each main meal, serve with bread. You can also order starter or desert. Service is quite friendly, our server is Michelle, she gave us good advice. The Old Spaghetti Factory is rather a good place for family and friends to come.
Service
This is a nice place to have lunch as it is quaint and you can see history all around you on the building. There is a story of Gastown and the restaurant at your table which you can read . We had the seafood spaghetti with minestrone soup and it was all delicious. If you were unsure of something or needed help then the servers would help you with suggestions or answer any questions. There was a street car in the building so if you were lucky could have your meal in it. There was history all around you in the building.
Good food with lots of options for different tastes but choose your place away from the kitchen area to avoid noise and enjoy your meal .
Oh I do love the Spaghetti Factory! This location is my favourite such a great ambiance. Where else can you get delicious browned butter and mizithra cheese pasta , salad, bread, ice cream and coffee for well under 20 bucks!! In fact I left a 20% tip and it was still under 20! I love this pasta, I love the hot bread and garlic butter pots, I love the salad with thousand island dressing no one does that anymore. I love a gourmet salad but I also love a straight up old school salad with TI dressing. And the Spumoni Ice cream to top it all off. I was so full! But very very satisfied ! Yay spaghetti factory!!
Really tasty food and good vintage ambience. Went for lunch with wife both ifbus enjoyed the service and the food. Had to wait for a few minutes so pre reservations are advised.
The service at this location is always amazing! But last night our server JASMINE blew the roof off, her customer service EXCEEDED all the past servers. She was personable, sweet, funny, I felt like I was having dinner at a friends place. I will definitely be asking to sit in her section the next time I dine here.
No complaints here. Good service on a Friday night. Quick wait time, warm bread, great food.
Meal type
Meatballs were smelly and my pasta tasted nothing. It was literally cheese and oil. Also, the customer service was awful. We had to call waitress 3 times just to get water. They said they’ll come back but never did. Free bread with garlic butter was good.
During these times it was a treat to go out to eat. The necessary precautions were taken and the staff was very friendly and prompt, our server was Lucas. You can even make online reservations, make sure to know what you're ordering as the menus will not be provided, but are easily found online.
The last cpl times we've been and had the same Waiter.. he was slow my Caesar salad was warm and limp and my clan chowder almost cold :/ sometimes servers ruin good food expenses ..
The waiter was not professional, I almost asked for every single pieces on table, like dishes , napkins... salad was so old , spaghetti was soooo average . It was not what I expected at all. I should say I gave two star for Garlic bread and atmosphere. I don't recommend if you expect especial food or service.

Amazing!!! Good portions, delicious, amazing service, and beautiful place.
Price is reasonable including appetizer and dessert. The mojito was super super sweet, with no lemon taste. I think waiters need more training. We were waiting for water for a long time.
Reservations are pointless, you'll wait.. We came as a group of 10 and it was too much for them. Everyone received their food at different times. Bread came during the meal because it was still in the oven.. Mistakes, mistakes, mistakes (excuses). 2 ⭐ for cheap food.
Been a while since I have been here, a nostalgic place for me as our family used to go to West Edmonton Mall in Alberta to this place. Food was good, service was great. Nice big (huge) restaurant. Worth a try! The non stop bread and butter is of course always great.
I’m definitely coming back to this place for the great food and service we had! The ingredients they used in the food were really fresh and it was tasty. I think the server who helped us was John and he was very nice. This is honestly the only place we’ve ever tipped greater than 20% because the service and food were more than worth it. We’ll be sure to return to this fine establishment!
Came here for a friend’s birthday dinner. The staff was very friendly. Their food was good but it was a bit too much
Service
I personally love it here, good food, prices are fair, clean, service is good. Good food good people
Service
This is a family favorite for us❤Since 2000????My V loves pasta, my J loved their bread, T the shirley temples, S the gelato and M loves it all????Great location, fabulous staff, amazing food and the atmosphere is relaxing!!! Check them out when you can????????????
OSF is one of my favourite restaurants. I love the all-included approach to their menu (comes with soup/salad, entree, tea/coffee and ice cream) The service at gas town is not as good as other locations that’s why I gave 4 stars. The atmosphere is unique with a very vintage vibe. I love the old trolley car in the middle of the restaurant. You must try the spumoni ice cream, it’s the BEST!
Too good to now try!! The meal includes bread, soup, main course (I got the classic spaghetti and meatballs) and an ice cream! Service was a delight with nice decor. Going back for more soon!!

Lunch
The restaurant have a "all inclusive" system, which means that you just need to pay the price for the main dish and it comes with a option of entree between salad or soup and a scoop of ice cream as dessert! This is a really good option in Gastown area.
A staple of my visits to Vancouver, although prone to queues. Famous indoor tram, but also friendly staff, decent food and reasonable prices. And plenty to read in the bathrooms.

Who can carry me home? Great lunch after a boxing day walk around Vancouver. Friendly service and good food.
Cheapest meal you'll find in this tourist area, and tasty too.
Loved the food and service was great even when busy due to FanExpo ppl
Awesome ????great service and fun????needed a big walk after????????
I haven't been to the Old Spaghetti Factory in a number of years, so this afternoon my partner and I treated my older daughter to her 40th birthday meal there. I was so pleased at how little it had changed. Great food, reasonably priced, great portions, great service. Altogether, it was a very pleasant experience. Love the ambience. Highly recommend for a nice meal out.
Service
The service is great, however, the food is ok. Personal opinion, the sauce is a bit salty for me.
Wonderful service.. quick and efficient... Tasty food and magnificiant place
According to Google, 3 stars means "It's OK", and that's exactly how I'd describe The Old Spaghetti Factory. The charming building and decor, speed of service, family-friendly environment and low prices are big positives; the quality of the food is the negative. If you want to experience Gastown on a budget or want a place that's definitely kid-friendly, go here. If you want to experience a great meal, go elsewhere.
Historic place with amazing decor and tasty pasta choices. It is cheap as well since almost all the food comes with bread and butter and salad
I like they have a later happy hour for food and an afternoon one too l think. I always like their app, main, and dessert combos. I usually always upgrade to the French onion soup to start and you can't go wrong with the chicken parmesan! Don't forget to get complimentary coffee or tea with your ice cream. Apparently the restaurant is one of the most haunted places in Gastown! ????
Great food and equally great table service. Generous portions. Great deco too.
The Old Spaghetti Factory is a wonderful place with a great flair. The food is very good and served in large portions, always consisting of either soup or salad, the main dish, ice cream as dessert, and tea or coffee at the end. And all that for a really good price. The waiters are very nice, too. Our experience with a 2.5 yo daughter was very pleasant and we felt very welcome. Simply great!

This was my first visit to Vancouver and when I passed this restaurant it really reminded me of The Spaghetti Warehouse back home decor wise. I was very pleased with everything, the food was excellent, the service was very good and it had a wonderful atmosphere. I liked the everything included concept. Loved the minestrone soup, it was flavorful and the ice cream was very unique and delicious.

I would wanted to give it a five star but the service was tooo slow that night when we visited. Everything else was good, both for food and interior environment. Would probably come again.
