Tried to have a 70th birthday party at Red Lobster rude staff would have to wait an hour and they would not be able to sit the 12 of us together ( we had already been told by phone it would be fine ) . Called the spaghetti factory from RL parking lot they said they could help us . It was great thank you so much ???? This will be our number one place from now on.

Food is good. Service is excellent. Washroom is clean. Good atmosphere. My favorite restaurant in town. My husband and I really like the old spaghetti factory in Banff and now this loctation. The only thing I give 3 stars is the management. We went on Mon long weekend for supper. The front end staff said it takes 25 mins for a table. I went to the washroom and there were like 4 empty tables on one side. As we sat down to wait, we saw a few more booths available still. This is the same problem with the one in Banff. Lots of tables are empty, but they make customers wait. They need to manage better to seat customers and not to let people wait while tables are empty.

Great food and great service. Lots of room in the restaurant and not too noisy so you can have a decent conversation. This is one of my "go to" places to eat and I have never had anything I didn't like on the menu. They have great staff and have taken good measures to abide by the COVID 19 rules. In short the place is awesome and I would recommend it to everyone.

When we first came in there was no hostess. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was like grandma's house. I had the lasagna and it needed to sit for a day for the flavor to develop. The ice cream was a sweet touch.

Our Server Sarah was great. She made the whole experience perfect. Her professionalism and being so personable made it a great treat. As for the food, the kitchen was very slow and when our food arrived, 3 out 4 meals were cold. All the pasta dishes were cold, not a little but ice cold. The place wasn't even half full and the kitchen was crashing. We will try it again and hope it was a one time problem.

We came here (Calgary) after going to the Banff location to compare' We had the french onion soup to start as well as steamed mussels, and salad. My comment here would be that there was a few mussels which were not open (about 5 to be exact) other then that' everything (including the mussels) was about average. For entre's we had the spaghetti with meat sauce factory size & the lasagna, with an extra side of mizithra cheese. Everything was average. The spumoni ice cream is one of a kind of you're not accustomed to spumoni ice cream. The cleanliness of the facility was great and the service was excellent.

Worst service!.. literally waited for more than an hour before i get my orders.. staff were "hiding" while waiting for orders, just to elude the customers.. they should inform at least the customers how many years more do we need to wait!

Our family always hunts out TOSF's wherever we go. I always get the same meal as I love it so much and never fails to deliver. Really good value too as you get warm bread to start, house ranch salad, and ice cream, plus coffee included in the price of the entree.

My husband and I came here for my moms birthday. The service from the get go was amazing. From the hostess to the server the service was amazing. The food was prompt and any issues that we had were addressed immediately. We want to especially thank our server Malakie who was so kind and patient and helpful with our entire dining experience. She was the one person who stood out and someone who should be appreciated. The service industy needs more people like her!

Came for lunch to eat with a group. The interior is very nice and the servers were great! I had the seafood Alfredo and it was subpar for an 18.00 meal. The sauce seemed like it was out of a can, the portion was ok it could have been bigger and there were like 3 small shrimp and 3 or 4 tiny little scallops so it wasn't worth it all n all. Won't come here again. Not the worse but not acceptable

Great value, great service, clean washrooms, parking is ok, when it gets busy you have to park a little further then normal from the doors. Lots of different options, gluten free pastas. Great place for a sit down meal on a date or with the family.

Compared to the West Edmonton Mall branch: - Their portions were smaller! - The bread served was old! - The caesar was tasting and smelling like fish. Fish is usually an ingredient, but they overdid that. Overall, it was not the great experience we had in Edmonton, especially the West Edmonton Mall location.

Very slow service, we had visitors from the USA and it took at least 35 minutes for us to get our water, then another 30 minutes to get the order taken, in all we've spent almost 3 hrs at this restaurant. AVOID. Go to the NE location, completely different, excellent service at NE location.

Service and atmosphere were great, but I was very disappointed with the food. The chicken parm was priced at $23 and it tasted more like a frozen chicken burger, with a small handful of fries. The pasta was good, but small portion for the price.

Parking was a bit of a pain, but it's very nice and eclectic inside. The the bathrooms in the basement have carpet leading to them which is a bit sketch, but food is awesome as always with Old Spaghetti Factory.

I come here all the time for birthday's with my family. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they only have 2 handicap parking spots. On the right side of the parking lot, they have 1/4 spots in front of the restaurant that should all be handicap. And 1 just on the other side of the median

Always such an enjoyable dining experience. Great service and food. Prices are so reasonable for a 4 course meal. Don and I upgraded to the baked french onion soup, Entree was spaghetti and meatballs, mini loaf bread, and spumoni ice cream with tea. Final bill just over $40 for two.

Love this place! Not only do they have delicious food, but they have delicious gluten free food, which can be difficult for pastas, but they pull it off. Love the fact that most of the meals come with an appetizer and dessert. For the price and nice ambiance, it can't be beat.

Came in for lunch by myself. I was greeted with a smile by Colin. He seated me and then Ramesh came to serve me. Again with a smile and great service. Food was delicious, and served just in time as I finished my salad. I love that you get salad, coffee and ice cream included in your meal. Talk about a lunch deal at $10.50. I did come after the rush at 1 pm so it wasn't that busy. I will be back and would recommend others to go eat here. ????

I love the Old Spaghetti factory, but unfortunately this trip wasn't great. My cousin got a drink and the cup was full of mold. The manager comped the drink and a free dessert, but we were still pretty grossed out.

My family loves The Old Spaghetti Factory. The servers really know their stuff, the all included pricing is nice (starter, main, dessert), and the portion sizing are huge (yay lunch for tomorrow!). The only downside to THIS location is that it isn't at all wheelchair/stroller accessible. Too many stairs to get in, and the bathroom is down even more stairs. If you are wheelchair bound or don't do well with stairs, hit the Marlborough location. Same food, no stairs.

I only thought there was a spegetti factory in Banff, so when I found out that there was one in calgray I got really excited. They had a lot of expectations food wise to meet, and they did a really good job. Food was good, and hot and the waiter was so friendly and made us feel very comfortable. Having the constant bread is a great touch to the Italian dining. The only cons are, you should be able to request two garlic butters instead of one plain and one garlic. And to get to the washroom you have to walk down two flights of stairs and down a sketchy hall. And the bathrooms need a bit of a reno. Otherwise is a great place to go for dinners in groups and just on a date. Location is great a couple mins walk from the C-train and tight beside prince's island. As well this restaurant I'd kid friendly.

Had an outstanding experience at this location last night. Had very pleasent staff take care of us, and they even gave us a bunch of free bread to take him with us. They treated us very well overall, and took care of any concerns swiftly. Also, even though we cam in near closing they did not make us feel rushed to leave. 5 stars! Family favorite!!

Good basic fare. A hearty three course meal at a reasonable price. Quality is consistent across the country. Old SF is our "go to" restaurant for 'carbo loafing' before a major athletic event. A few more restaurants in major cities and popular sports tournament destinations would be ideal. Waiting times prior to major events can be quite lengthy.

Food was good, server was friendly but we felt super rushed. Just got our appetizers and the meals were brought out while we were still eating our salads. Then right after eating dessert and not even done with that, the bill was brought to us right away without even asking for it.

The food was slightly above average, but my plate had a crack in it, and the managers response was "it's so small." I'm not sure if it's The Spaghetti Factories policy to use cracked plates depending on the size of the damage, but a crack is a crack is a crack.

I have to confess! I took my roommates here to show them that the OSF is a great place to eat, dine and unwind on a student's budget haha. It also reminded me of home aka winterpeg. It was not the same exact experience as the one I am used to at the Forks in wpg but the food was exact, the baked bread warm and soft, the atmosphere is busy. My friends thought I was crazy as there were other spots we could've attended for pasta. Yes, there was, but I was home sick and this place brings back memories, even when i was a young tot lol.

My favorite brown butter and cheese was more butter than browned butter and very dry, sour dough bread barely warm, still very nice place. Perhaps chef having an off day.

Have always loved the spaghetti factory. Just had dinner with relative from flin flon Manitoba, they absolutely loved it. We had a longer wait this time and the server and manager were very apologetic and at the end of it offered us two free desserts. Which was highly appreciated. We will absolutely be back and will tell everyone. Thank you for the amazing service and delicious food! Our server Jessica was great!

First trip to this place and definitely the last first of all told 15 minute wait took almost 40 min to be seated the service was the worst experience ever that all 4 of us experienced.Had to ask for a knife to cut bread loafs and were told they were all dirty and waiting on clean ones!!! Really?Ordered two pasta dishes and one rib dish,and a Caesar salad with prawns the first 3 came to table then waited for the salad dish for almost ten minutes later.What a horrible experience!!!!

Food wasnt great nor was the managers customer service. French onion soup; onions were not carmelized and cooked down enough to impart the sweetness the soup should have had. They still had a chewy texture to them. Fresh broccoli with mizithra and brown butter; while nicely blanched and cheese was good. It was just regular butter. None of this so far really concerned me enough to say anything. Baby Back Ribs; On the menu they are described as a pound a baby back ribs. What i got was 2 end pieces totaling 6 small bones for 20 bucks. I mentioned this to my server who apologized and was sympathetic to my concern and said she would inform the MOD. When she arrived I told her this was nowhere near a pound and her repsonse was "What do you expect? This is The Old Spaghetti Factory." She then asked what she could do. I told her another half portion of ribs would fine. And that was the last i saw of her. Extra ribs took a long time and by then they had brought out dessert.

Before my food got to the table they brought out the bread sticks. I took a bite and out came a huge hair that was baked into the bread. I informed the waitress who in turn had the manager come to the table. He was so apologetic, he offered a slice of cake to devide among five people. Wow. I just sucked on a strangers DNA and was offered a slice of cake to split between five adults. It was like he was more concerned over a few onces of pasta than keeping new customers.

We were very pleased with our server Morgan, who did an outstanding job looking after us today. The calamari was nicely spiced and tender but a little too much breading. The Caesar salad was one of the best salads I've had in a long time. The soups we're good but not very warm. Overall it was a pretty good lunch!

Normally this is an excellent place 2 eat but my bowl of spaghetti had quite a bit water in it. The waiter gladly replaced it. The spicy sauce was lacking flavor. The starter salads were excellent

It was the first time my son and I had gone. And with really outstanding friends on Saturday December 12th, 2020 (the night before a 15-30 day covid (Karen, anti-masker, etcetera induced) lock down.). It was was a most AWESOME experience to be had by all at my table, as well as, all diners I could see around us. You have got to see and enjoy the history around you with all the ambiance of antique lighting and furniture starting at the greeting counter. (I don't say it very often.). This is a restaurant I'm anticipating to going back too once the lockdown is over! Everything about the dining experience I've immensely enjoyed is very much of most importance to the owner, management and staff. It's an ambiance that must be experienced and spoiled in! I can't believe the there is only 1 Old Spaghetti Factory in Calgary! From what I experienced tonight there should have been many more such restaurants for all of Calgarians to experience!! I found the prices fair (it's not MacDonald's) for services provided and even gave a 20.00 tip. An unheard of tip by those who know me. Lol! Go!!+ It's a must experience!++

Amazing place, loved the ambience. Food variety is nice and their offering of packages is a kool concept. With breads to soup n custom Pasta we got perfect evening family dinner. In the end we chose Icecream but you can opt for tea/coffee as well. Plenty of space for sitting as well as Bar area. Yes its bit crowded on weekends so reservations advised. For Veg ppl yes there are good options.

Unfortunately because of that we took our business elsewhere, first impressions are key in a restaurant and that was the worst ... Working across the street, I eat here fairly regularly when entertaining guests from our US office. Soup is a little saltier than I would like but have never had any issues with service or food quality that weren't resolved by the end of the visit. My family and I came here for a birthday, there was about 10 of us, so not a small group. The service was attentive for about 20 mins but we had to wait for the rest of our party to show up. It took them a while to come get our order and that's why they are only getting 4 stars. They also had a school in so the service was better then some restaurants I've been in with similar situations. The food was hot and tasty and they kept the unlimited bread coming when they remembered we were there. The meals made up for the spotty service however and I would take my family back any time.

I have ways liked Old Spaghetti Factory... the Managers Favorite with both meat sauce and Mizithera cheese topping is absolutely awesome. It has been a while for me though due to the pandemic. We ordered online for curb pickup. We were there on time and had already paid and tipped, but despite repeated calls they were 20-25 minutes late after our arrival (and advised pickup time) and I ultimately had to go in and pick up face to face to get our order. Would have been 4 or 5 stars.

I understand many restaurants precook their pasta to just a couple of minutes before it's done then finish cooking when ordered. Disappointed that they aren't able to cook Spaghetti. Not going back

If you haven't been to The Old Spaghetti Factory, you need to know something... It is the best factory in the world. They don't produce cars, gadgets, or manufacture any sort of product. What they do create is an amazing atmosphere where you and the children, you and your Bros, you and Grandma, you and anyone can go and have a great meal. They start the process of by providing complimentary bread with GARLIC butter, baked fresh when you sit down. Once the bread has been consumed they will often give you another. Yeah, you read that right. Another loaf of their delicious fresh baked bread. Then if that wasn't good enough your meal is going to come with Coffee/Tea, a side salad/soup, and spumoni ice cream. Then you go to pay the bill and what do you you just got a steal of a deal on a stomach full of delicious pasta. You're welcome.

I want to publicly thank this business for a great customer experience. I won’t lie the beginning was annoying, we were just 2 hungry gals looking for a bite after a long drive. We were promptly given bread and drinks and then were kind of forgotten about. There was a lot going on at the time we were hungry so we put money in the table for the bread and drinks and left. I lost my bank card we returned to the old spaghetti factory later that evening to look for it. The waitress was very apologetic for what happened, we were not angry in any way just hungry and impatient. She explained they were short staffed (I work in the tourism industry and understand things are hard for a lot of us right now) our conversation was very genuine and she really wanted to do something for us which wasn’t necessary. Once I returned to my hotel I had a voicemail and text message (thanks to contact tracing) from them saying they found my card, the waitress once again sincerely apologized. I will definitely be back for a proper dine in when I’m in Calgary next because of the interaction with the waitress and going above and beyond to try getting a hold of me.

Came in on opening day Tuesday (as we have been waiting for it to open ) & asked to make a reservation for 13 people . We were told they were not taking reservations as they had just opened & weren't set up for that yet . We then went back Saturday morning & they told us they had already made reservations for bigger parties ( even though we had tried a few days earlier but were told they are not taking reservations). We even offered a cash deposit but were just told to come 30 min prior to eating & they would help us . We went 40 min prior to the rest of the party arriving & were told it was an 1 1/2 hour wait. We then had to phone everyone & change the plans to another restaurant that took us in short notice . First impression has soured us on ever returning to the old spaghetti factory.

Amazing place! The layout is nice and open so you don't feel like you're squished. We had plenty of room behind our table to put our stroller that it wouldn't interfere with anyone. The decor was very cool. Had a nostalgic, antique feel but still modern. Food was excellent and our server, Andrew, was one of the best servers we've ever had. Prices are great for the amount of food you get. Their coffee is very good as well. This will definitely be a place we take the family again :D

Our waiter was stoned and smelled of pot. My husband's steak was so undercooked that it bled. Our pasta was cold. Thing was, our waiter couldn't be found as once he had dropped our food at our table, he disappeared and we didn't see him again for over 30 minutes. Not impressed at all. The OSF in Gastown and New Westminster (both in BC) are amazing compared to this place.

Sourdough Bread with Regular butter and Garlic butter. I am totally in love with sourdough bread from now on. 2. Minestrone Soup: An italian soup made out of vegetables like beans, onion, carrots, celery etc. Soup was refreshing and healthy. 3. Crisp Salad: Enjoy the crispy collection of lettuce, carrot, cabbage etc in one plate. After the delectable entrées, we proceeded with the main course: 1. Roasted Garlic Grilled Chicken: Linguine noodles tossed with garlic butter, served with garlic and lemon marinated grilled chicken breast were scrumptious and would love to have it again during my second visit. 2. Penne with Chicken: Penne tossed in basil cream sauce with sautéed chicken pieces and mushrooms is all you need to make your meal complete. 3. Blueberry Cheesecake: Always a lover of cheesecake, this delectable blueberry cheesecake with subtle vanilla flavour was a perfect dessert to end my day with. Also, in dessert they serve ice cream with no additional cost. We had: Spumoni ice cream: Another italian gem, it’s a molded gelato with layers of different flavours. We had the blend of Pistachio, cherry and chocolate ice cream. I still can’t get over it???? Rating: 1. Just came for a soup & salad lunch.. Service is always excellent, along side the warm bread & garlic butter.. but ...The French onion soup was pretty bland and served too cold. The oven baked dish wasn't even hot to touch, cheese was just melted in a big lump on top, not bubbling.. I do like my soups boiling hot, so I always expect them a tad cooler than I make at home, but this wasn't even close.. Caesar salad was decent.

Pretty disappointing experience. I ordered take out. I had to call multiple times because I got put on hold and no one came back for 5-7 mins before I'd give up and hang up. Finally I ordered at the restaurant. I waited a very long time before anyone even came to the front and addressed me. The person who helped me was good but he seemed to be the only person doing anything - and everything - so he couldn't keep up. I got my food. Had to go back for plastic cutlery. The soup was half full and didn't have a single noodle or meat or anything in it, just broth. The food was overall subpar. This is not the first time I've been here and waited at the front for a long time for anyone to acknowledge me. I don't think I'll go back.

Wow did not expect to receive some of the best service in town. I was so impressed with our Server April she was so helpful and happy the whole time. Super efficient and was informative on the menu. Haven't gone to a Spaghetti factory for a long time. Went to one with a group of people. Had Spaghetti with meat sauce. Now I remember why I don't go to this resturant chain anymore. Hello flavour?? Went there for a pickup order. When we got the food home the portion size of the Seafood Linguine was shocking for the amount of the entree, the salad was wilted and had a big on one of the leaves. Both the dishes were lacking sauce so the pasta was pretty dry. The spaghetti and meatballs I ordered was well below my expectations as well my salad was also all brown and wilted lettuce. We called the restaurant and the manager said he wanted to make it right. Today I received a $25 gift certificate for my bill of $60. Although my expectations were low to start with they definetly fell short . When someone finds a bug in their food generally you would waive the whole meal. Never going back there again.

We always have a great time here. Great service, can be busy or ded same service. They sure do know how to cook pasta. Have eaten many times, and everytime has been a good experience. This is my choice of a place to pasta food. Never tryed steak their steak yet. Wait time is very good we spend about 45 minutes here. Definitely will keep going. Staff are happy. Manicotti noodles weren’t cooked. Spaghetti and meatballs gave my husband food poisoning and the bathroom where he went to get sick had one stall and a huge line so he puked in the parking lot. The waitress couldn’t be bothered to walk around to put down our food on the table so we passed plates down. the salad was drenched in dressing so it was inedible. My tea craft hadn’t been washed so I had orange peko tea with hints of mint that made my stomach upset the bread was over and under baked only thing good was the ice cream... over all disgusting.

Sat in the pub which was kind of a mistake as there was a bad draft and just a weird setup that wasn't very welcoming. I get that the bar side is never really as 'warm' but this was seriously lacking. Our spagetti came and the sauce was super dry and chunky, and there wasn't enough of it so 80% of my bites were just plain noodles. What tiny bit of sauce there was was pretty good (Spicy meatsauce/bolognese) but for what it's worth I would rather eat ragu from a can than this, at least I could have full sauce coverage. Only decent part was the bread I guess and even that wasn't warm and fresh like I remember. I've only been to the late Old Spaghetti Factory in West Edmonton Mall and it was always phenomenal but this one you can tell is managed by people that have no passion for this business.

Food was above par which is totally normal here. The staff was on their best behavior and friendly. Since my favorite spaghetti sauce is the brown butter and mezithra cheese and I found out you can order 2 toppings I try a second topping each time. This time my second was mushroom and Alfredo. What an awesome combination. And to top it off the salad, endless bread with garlic butter, spumoni icecream and coffee or tea is included for $15 and change! They cannot keep me away. Arrive before 5pm to avoid the rush.

Recently I went to this location and they did not have a chief on staff that knew what a white sauce was or how to cook. Ended up walking out because they were unable to feed me considering I am allergic to sauces. Very disipointing considering I have always had great luck at the old spaghetti factory. Sad to see a company like this switch to pre-made sauces without chiefs that know how to cook. Would not recommend.

I love The Old Spaghetti Factory..Kots of great menories of significant birthdays,mine and friends..The spaghetti and meatballs,and Chefs special half mushroom half meat sauce were spot on.. but its the other parts of the food experience..they are using bag salad rather than prepping fresh salad,small de5ail but important especially to customers who are at an age where sslads are important and looked forward to,as well as the fresh bread..it was fresh, but what used to be i believe baked fresh in house, or baked fresh for them,just seemed like more store bought just not the fresh fresh bread if yesteryear...Really its management decidions based on bottom line and Im sure maximizing profits for those at the top, while its the incredible front line staff doing all the hard work, so 5 stars for staff and 1 for the decision makers at the top,whoever they may be..Next time I will go downtown instead of Marlborough to compare and see if the old way is still alive there.

Having visited multiple locations, the Calgary one offers some big positives. The location is spacious, clean, and the parking lot is very big. The meals are very well prepared and thus far I have not had one that lacked in any ingredient or quality. Highly recommend this restaurant especially for the price. The food isn't exactly mind blowing and if expensive taste is more for you, your needs would be best served somewhere else. However for the value nothing can beat this chain.

Very decent place to eat if you're looking for something better than fast food but not wanting to break the bank. A nice waitress who was in training served us and showed great hospitality, saw we were running low on the sour dough bread and immediately offered a refill. Food arrived in a timely manner, was served hot and tasted delicious. Only thing that was considered a 'complaint' was for the portion size to money ratio. Very dissatisfied with my experience, my. Chicken parmigiana was under cooked my daughters pizza was over cooked and had very little cheese on a cheese pizza.. So much food! Always excellent quality and delicious. Even the lunch specials are huge and I regularly leave with extras no matter what I order. They are amazing about anything allergy sensitive as well. I have been there basically any time of day and they always get it right. Also an any type of venue. I have had business lunches and dinners here, as well as romantic dates, girls day, casual lunches everything. The staff are all amazing and knowledgeable about the food and options. They are all spectacular.

This location is not near what it was a year ago. The food was very disappointing! Portion sizes are about half of what they used to be. It took forever to receive our drinks and food. I felt sorry for the staff, the sections were to large for them to adequately handle. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because our server was friendly and doing her best under the circumstances. I dont want to be very long winded, but with 2 adults and 2 children who were very hungry and sunbaked after a day at the zoo, we sat at this restaurant for an hour and a half and we did not get to eat. The son wanted cheese pizza, which they ran out of a half hour after we had ordered. Then the husband ordered the fettucini and we were informed after another 30 minutes that they had run out of alfredo sauce for his meal. The long island ice tea that I had ordered was terrible and had to be sent back. The bartender had forgot to add the cola. We even received a special visit from the manager after an hour and a half of waiting for food only to decide to go back to the hotel and order pizza hut. This was july 24, 2019 at approx. 6:30pm at the Marlborough location. Thanks for nothing OFS!

But I found the garden salad lacked presentation, chicken strips were over cooked and I asked for leamonade with no ice, I got a glass half filled with ice. I shud have brought it to the server's attention but that's just not me. So all my stars go to food none for service and presentation.

On all other visits I rate it as a 5 for food and service. However, I give a 2 star rating this time because of bad service. The food was great as always but the waitress, Sinythia, was not the best. I am not hard to please and at least expect the bare minimum for service. She seemed more interested in other tables for some unknown reason and expected a big tip for poor service. She was more interested in fluttering her false eyelashes than anything else. Our bread was served without plates so we had to ask for them. Not once did she come around to ask how everything was for us. I had to ask for coffee that is included in their regular meals. Long before I felt it was getting to the end she presented us with our bill and never asked if we wanted our coffees refilled and the same with bread. She never asked if there was anything else we needed. All in all she could do more. I don't think she is a beginner because it would show. We are willing to overlook beginners but not sloppy service.

The food was good but the service was not. When we first walked in we decided to sit at the in the bar, the only booth was still dirty so we waited and eventually asked if one of the servers could clear it and we were told it was reserved, even though there was no sign. By the time we finished our dinner 2.5 hours later at a much smaller table no one had sat there. It took forever to get our server and every time she came back with something whether it be menus, drinks, starters, or food it was a very long wait. My boyfriends water glass was dirty and our server pretty much said "oh sorry that happens sometimes", and then his meal, which he asked for with no mushrooms on due to an allergy, came loaded with mushrooms and again she said "oh sorry they do it out of habit". The manager came out for a quick apology and gave him a $10 off coupon which I believe he forgot to even take off the table as after such a long dinner (nearly 3 hours due to all the waiting) we were in a rush to leave.

Since they closed the OSF in Eau Claire, we are so fortunate the Marlborough establishment is only a few minutes further away. Absolute worst dining experience in a very long time. Waited 45 minutes from end of app and soup to the main course. Main course was awful. The meatballs were cold and like mush. My friends chicken alfredo had 3 little bites of chicken hardly any sauce, so was very dry. Her husband had cold, mushy meatballs as well. The server came back with a big smile and said "The manager took care of it, he took the meatballs off the bill!" Well, I would certainly hope so because theres no way we were going to pay for them. That was the Absolute, very least he could have done... and was all he did. No apology, nothing to make this gong show of an evening out any better. Needless to say, that was our first and last visit to The Old Spaghetti Factory. Had the manager handled it properly and at least come himself to aoplogize, we would have given it another shot. Too many other restaurants in the city to waste any more time on sub-par food and poor service.

The last time I was at OSF was waaaay back when they had a spot at Eau Claire and the food then was pretty bland. Massive improvment at the Marlborough location. The food and service were fantastic!! Brian the manager was very helpful and accommodating to have it delivered and even with a free dessert. He was very apologetic and wanted to make sure I was taken care of. Went here with a group of 8 (3 kids). We called in advance and was told there is no need for reservations. We were seated as soon as we arrived. We sat for 20 minutes before a waitress even came by with bread. 10 minutes later someone else came back and took our food order and that is when we all ordered our drinks. After waiting almost an hour for our food to arrive, we had to catch a different waitress yet again to ask when we would receive our meal. Half of the food was cold when it arrived and the steak was over cooked. Don't think I will be returning to this location. Also asked for a plate for our 9 month old child and was charged $9.95 for the plate that the baby only ate a few bites. We have gone to The Old Spaghetti Factory in Edmonton multiple times and have never had an issue.

Hi There, I have sent a message on the "feedback" button via the website this past Tuesday. As of today I still have not received a single response. Our experience at Old Spaghetti Factory Marlborough was terrible. Granted I believe our server was very new, she was not being supported and the "floor supervisor" honestly should not be a supervisor. Our family has visited this location numerous times since they have opened and some visit 1-2 times per month.. Not one time has it taken over 2 hours for a lunch with 2 children and still had to take it to go as it was not ready. We arrived at 1:55 pm and ordered our drinks and the children's meals so they would come our sooner then later as we all know, when children get hungry it can turn a great experience into a very unpleasant one. we ordered two cheese pizza meals and a side of fries. Drinks took longer then expected for all non alcoholic beverages. when our server returned we then ordered the Mozzarella triangles for the adults and our meals.. Two lunch manicotti, one with french onion soup and one with minestrone. Approximately 20 minutes later so about 30-35 into service we receive the 2 cheese pizzas, french fries and the mozzarella triangles. The fries were a very dark brown, I tasted one and they were definitely burnt. I asked the server who brought them to have them remade to which we received some attitude. Firstly, the kitchen should have never sent items cooked that way, secondly the server should have questioned and asked for a remake. (This "server" ended up being a supervisor). I was very surprised that my children's pizzas took well over 20 minutes for cold pizza. Going into 1 hour of service the server comes to me to state they no longer have french onion soup. (1 hour!) They were waiting for the kitchen to put a new stock on. As we are well into an hour of service for lunch I requested a tossed salad instead, 5 minutes later the server then comes back to ask type of salad and I again stated a tossed salad and I asked for ranch at this time. I then asked for my lunch manicotti's to be packed up as my kids were ready to go and we still had not received our soup/salad. About 5 minutes later a plate of salad appears with numerous brown leaves and some of the soggy brown mushy leaves under the mound of dressing. There is only so much characters I can write. Really good experience as with other OSF locations. I really enjoyed my spaghetti with clam sauce. That being said, one of my party members felt their marinara was a bit watery. Might be better to stick with the meat sauce or cream sauces.

I like this place. But I found quality was not great as it used to be. Calamari was not cooked inside. Minestrone soup was too runny and less ingredients... EDIT: Went there again and it took longer to get the order. Prices are high. Not really worth it anymore. Will avoid going there. Food quality is down...Found hair in food..

They claimed to not have our reservation when we arrived for dinner. So, they sat the four of us at a two top table. It was kind of cramped for my husband and in-laws. Everyone's food was good, but not great.

Connor is a great server, Old Spaghetti Factory killed it with hiring this guy ????????. He was funny as hell and made the night super enjoyable ????. Highly reccomend getting him as your server ????. He made us all laugh! The food at this location was phenomenal and lots of seafood on our linguine and loved the food. Great value for good food. Most meals include bread, salad or soup , ice cream and coffee or tea. Service was good when I went, other than the small drink glasses filled with too much ice it was a good meal.

A charming large restaurant and bar that serves great food with primary emphasis on pasta. The lunch "all included" options are very good value for your money - soup or salad, entrée, ice cream and coffee or tea for a very inexpensive price. Only drawback for a 5 star rating was the apparent lack of a handicapped accessible entrance; there is however a handicap accessible washroom.

Took our friends out for dinner here and enjoyed it thoroughly. Spaghetti, meatballs, garlic bread that could make you Peel wallpaper with your breath, everything was delicious and our service was prompt and cheerful. We will certainly be coming back again!

Visited downtown Calgary location in Dec '17 in addition to Vancouver's old town location in March '17 - greeted by friendly staff first which was followed by great service and of course the food. Kids menu options were also very attractive and reasonably priced. Parking can be a challenge during busy times at both locations.

The food and atmosphere of this location is similar to other locations in the franchise. Unfortunately the poor service received made the deepest impression on our meal. It wasn't even busy in the restaurant and there was maybe a total of 10 tables of guests in the entire restaurant with their fleet of staff working. Our hostess was very good, courteous, prompt, and upbeat. Our server was entirely a different story. The entire meal she acted like we were a major inconvenience for her, even doing the basic duties of her job. She didn't refill our waters, check in to take our orders, asked what soup/salad we wanted with the meal, and didn't offer any drink for the kids meal. The entire time she seemed like she was just miserable and definitely made a negative impact on our meal. When we finished our entree, she didn't even ask about desert or the ice cream that all meals come with until we asked her. If a complete meal is what The Old Spaghetti Factory is known for, she sure isn't making that known by the way she's serving her guests. I like The Old Spaghetti Factory but I probably wouldn't go back to this location if I had a choice.

Affordable, love the managers special, with spicy meat sauce(not hot, just uses different spices than regular meat sauce) and the butter and mizithra. Bread soup or salad round out a decent sized meal, for a good price. Sara our server was also wonderful, and quick. Highly recommend.

PRO TIP- Making a reservation here is highly recommended! They were lined out the door with guests who had not made reservations. Keon, was the server here for a child's family birthday party and did a fantastic job! He may be quite young, but his singular focus and enthusiasm for ensuring his guests' satisfaction is exemplary. He even made the 7 year old birthday boy feel special by bringing many staff members over to the table to present the birthday cake and sing Happy Birthday. It felt amazing to participate in that as I had not seen a restaurant do this since pre-Covid days. There seems to be a really happy comraderie amongst the staff. They all pitch in to assist each other with running food, drinks and clean up. They are sincerely content with each other's success. The management must be quite strong here to guide such a culture of respect and team work. This place is so much better than the downtown one that used to be open. Especially the fact that there is tons of FREE parking. That used to be such a killer in Eau Claire when there was no free parking. The ownership here have a real winner.
