It's not fine dining, but my husband and I love it here. It's like the Starbucks of Italian restaurants: very consistent, customer-focused, a perfect range of choices. And you get a lot for not very much money. Salad or soup, entree, tea or coffee, loaves of bread with herbed butter, and ice cream at the end, all for one price (well under $20 for what we usually order, which is either the mushroom and mascarpone ravioli with chicken or the seafood alfredo linguine). We go to the one behind Silverport Cineplex before a movie and make a night of it. The bonus is that we're so full that we can easily resist the candy and popcorn at the theatre. That saves us $15+ right there!????

I don't know how you can be the Spaghetti Factory and over cook your spaghetti. Our waiter was efficient but a little pushy (asked if we're were ready to order as we were sitting down). He also hovered over my shoulder as I was paying using the credit card machine (not the classiest thing to do)

Love the Old Spag. Consistently a solid meal, at a reasonable price. Tried the mussels for the first time, probably wouldn't repeat; I wish the broth was rich and creamy instead of tomato tangy but they were still delicious. Pro tip: get the Potpourri and choose your own sauces!

Very slow service. I had to wait for 20 minutes before getting my table when the wait should have been 10 minutes. There were obviously enough tables for 4 people yet they made us wait and were rude about it. It also took a long time to get your food. This place sucks.

Excellent Spaghetti Factory location. The staff are very friendly and provide very good service. I would recommend getting the spaghetti with meat sauce, that is my go-to meal option and it is so good! The salad with Italian dressing is so good; the Spaghetti Factory has the absolute best Italian dressing around. And the bread is so great as well, it's the perfect way to start a meal. In addition, the ice-cream they give is just the right way to finish a meal. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Awful service. Our waitress was friendly and overall okay albeit a bit slow with bringing us drinks and taking our order. Halfway through our meal we had a completely new waitress clearing our dishes and asking us about ice cream. The new waitress brought us our ice cream and our bill at the same time. There were 5 of us and she brought us one bill with all of our totals lumped together. We had explained to the first waitress how we would be splitting the bill and who would be paying for what. This was a waste of breath as the first waitress finished her shift without telling our new waitress our arrangements. It would have been appreciated if the first waitress at least told us that she was ending her shift and new waitresss was taking over. At least we could have explained our bill plans to the new waitress. Also, we mentioned to the hostess that we were here for a birthday celebration. No song, no candle, no shocker there. Incompetent staff all around today. Definitely no tip for this subpar service.

Went as a birthday lunch, had an absolutely wonderful time. Manager at the front door was nice and professional. Charlene is the best waitress ever, we were somewhat rowdy but she had been very kind and worked quickly. Food was good. Love this place since childhood, never disappointed.

I love The Old Spaghetti Factory! I've been to every location in the lower mainland and have never had a bad experience. This is my mom's favourite restaurant, she never gets bored of it, and she has high standards. The servers are always friendly and the food is delicious. I love their "It's all included" which means you get bottomless fresh baked bread, and with every entree a soup or salad starter and a scoop of ice cream (vanilla or spumoni) for dessert. Love their decor with the stained glass and their patterned, mis-matched dishes, and the historical photos and classic movie posters in the washrooms. Would definitely recommend.

I came here with a group of 8 and was seated quickly since we called ahead when we were 10 mins away. However it wasn’t very packed when we arrived anyways for a Saturday lunch. Our waitress was very friendly and after she took down our order the appetizer came quickly after. However, the entree did take awhile to come out. Probably 30 minutes that’s the reason for removing one star. The pasta portion isn’t family size so make sure to order one per person. I made the mistake of ordering one to share with my mom but I was still heavy after and I’m not someone we can eat a lot. Also we got ice cream in the end and it tasted icy like it have been in the freezer for too long. Overall, delicious food but I didn’t like the long wait. Also there is outdoor seating but there were no one outside even on a nice sunny day as you can see in the photos.

The only downside is it's usually crowded with a significant wait (probably because it's right beside a movie theater).

This place is amazing! Atmosphere is Covid-19 safe and cool, the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some italian classics, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Our favorite dish is the Clam Chowder! Yum!!

Even when they don’t seem to have all the staff they need, they were very polite and friendly, service was really fast. My only complaint would be the cheesecake I ordered, it tasted like one of the things you find at the freezer section in the supermarket, and the plate itself seem like it has been handled by many people because it had fingerprints all over the edges.

Their customer service is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! They are completely understaffed! When you arrive to the restaurant it takes about fifteen minutes to be greeted by a hostess as there is never anyone at the front table. I don't even understand how this is a problem because when you are finally showed to your booth after another ten minutes of waiting for them to prepare your table and analyze the surroundings you'll find that there is rarely more than five families dining in the restaurant. I once called in to make a reservation and the host that answered was very hostile and rude (quite frankly it sounded like he didn't enjoy his job very much). Overall their food is pretty alright but they're lacking incredibly in the customer service department. That is why they are receiving a 1-star rating from me.

Ordered the Vancouver dine out to go online. It is so convenient to do a curbside pick up. Well-packed with the secure seal. The portion of the spinach salad is so big. The quality of foods is as good as usual. Would definitely recommend it!

We go there because of previous reputation. Feel so sad that such a great restaurant hv chosen to distroy itself by serving such bad quality food. It's the first restaurant I went for Italian food. I like the spaghetti dishes so much that I return year's after year. The food quality has gone down hill but still eatable so we still go there. Recently we went again and order our beloved spaghetti dishes. First, the portion is very, very small. You can finish eating with maybe three mouthful. The sauce supposed to be clam sauce, but no clam can be found. It tastes like thicken cream of mushroom soup. The graded cheese which always sitting on the table now hv disappeared, we hv to ask for it. The $14 dish (around) is so small that we hv to finish eating all the dinner rolls to fill our stomach. Not a good dinning experience anymore.

It's been a while since I last dined here, even before Covid. Front person and wait staff were friendly and professional. Good selection of pastas followed by a nice simple treat of your choice was enjoyed. This recent revisit, unfortunately, my upgrade to a Caesar Salad was the worst Caesar Salad I've had in decades. The salad was swimming in dressing. It actually looked like a child made it, sorry to share. Sad how it was made and sad how it even made it out of the kitchen. Oh well, I put the salad aside and saved my appetite for my pasta entree which did not disappoint.

We knew that there would be a longer waiting for a big group of us during Saturday so the 30-minute waiting was fine. When we got seated, we noticed that the table and some utensils were dirty so we asked the staff to give us some clean utensils (though she gave us the wrong utensils...) cleanliness needed improvement. Ordering food was fine. However, perhaps it’s Saturday and the staff who served us had a very long day, when she put down our plates, we heard big sound of platessss hitting the table many times. The spaghetti with cream sauce and the Lasagna were a bit dry. It’s not our first time to visit this place but we were quite disappointed with the food and service. When we ordered dessert, some of us ordered vanilla ice cream, some ordered chocolate ice cream and some ordered mixed ice cream. We were not happy that the staff didn’t inform us there’s no plain chocolate ice cream when she took our order. She only explained to us when we asked right after she put the mixed ice cream on our table. She could have told us beforehand then we would have make another order. We ordered some tea and coffee. Coffee was very nice but the water provided for the tea was not hot. TEA needs HOT WATER. These may be just some tiny little things to some people, yet it’s the manner and service that matter. An Update after the meal and the feedback I sent to the restaurant: I really appreciate the follow-up the company did for us. I’ve received a call from the old spaghetti factory (Richmond) to understand more of what happened the night we visited there. I’ve also received some gift cards from their staff. I’m very thankful for how serious the company takes for customers’ feedback. We will definitely go visit the restaurant again to see the improvements.

The service is a hit or miss depending on who you get. But the part that never disappoints is the price. I always look forward to a full meal at Old Spaghetti Factory with the appetizer, entree, & dessert. Their sourdough bread is still pretty darn good with that garlic butter. To be frank, you can't go wrong with any of the food they have on their menu, they all taste so good. And you will always leave will a full stomach.

Fantastic experience! Went on a Saturday night, and as expected was fairly packed. The wait was about 20 minutes, but with the bowling center and AMC nearby it wasn't a bad wait. Food and service was great! Really loved the pasta, semi-aldente (if that's a word) and decent portions. Seafood pasta actually had a lot of shrimp, which was a pleasant surprise... maybe I've been disappointed too many times. Kids were entertained with the crayons and their paper placemats to scribble on. Lastly, pasta dish ranged from around $13 to $20, and included soup and dessert! No complaints here. Highly recommended and will come back every time I visit Richmond.

The stars represent the consistency of the food - it doesn't differ from day to day or even from Canada to the US. Their food and drink prices are very inexpensive, especially the kids menu. It's all inclusive for kids and adults with bread, soup or saladn and desert as well as tea or coffee. The service is always good. The food is not gourmet but have never had an issue and as I said you know what to expect every time. This particular location has some historic items and it's close to the steam clock, so make sure to stop by for a visit before or after lunch or dinner!!!

Great place to take the family. Combined with the bowling alley next store it makes a great family outing on a rainy Vancouver evening. I have been here a number times over the years. Good food for what you pay. The ribs our good as well as the New York steak. Just don't expect 5 star food for 4 star prices. As I said the food is only 4 - 4.5 but the prices are more reasonable than many places. The service is very good and the staff is friendly.

Family friendly restaurant with a no frills menu. It’s very cozy and nicely decorated. Good service. $15+ menu included bread, soup or salad, pasta dish, hot drink and ice cream. $6+ kids portions are large and also come with all of the above. You get what you pay for, so don’t expect freshly prepared Italian pasta. It’s definitely good enough to enjoy. I do wish they had at least one other soup option.

Valentine's Day menu...well duh;) So, let's start out with a rustic feel in a nice clean and cozy room. The soft lighting makes a romantic setting for a dinner for two. We had the chicken parm and spaghetti w/meatballs. Parm was delish but partner was meh with spicy meatballs, spaghetti was good but maybe just a tad more sauce would of made it thumbs up great. Sauce is yum. We started with the bam bam shrimp which was just the right amount of spicy and sweet then ended with tiramisu that satisfied. The menu options were many and the cost is reasonable for 3 courses. Overall, the dining experience was a beautiful one, server was attentive and will definitely return to try other menu items. I have been to this location many times before, and this has to be the worst experience I have ever had. I understand that it is boxing week, and a Friday night, so I expected to have a longer wait and slower service. One of my go to places for just a nice bowl of pasta. Service is a hit or miss depending on the server you get but where else can you go in Vancouver for a bowl of soup, good portion of pasta, ice cream and unlimited bread for around $15 depending what you order. My go to order is the penne with chicken and it rarely disappoints here. Noodles are al dente, sauce is flavorful with the right thickness, and the chicken is usually pretty tender and juicy. Love the garlic spread for the sourdough bread.

Had dinner here tonight with my children, parents and sister. We were a table of 8 and it was a crazy busy night. Our server Tia was awesome. Throughout the evening she consistently checked in on us and made sure we always had what we needed. She always had a smile on her face and was very polite. Our food came out in a timely manner and was hot. I have to hand it to the team at this Richmond location. For such a busy night we had a great experience. To be honest, I eat at the Gastown location once a month and I don't have very high expectations because of it. Food is never hot enough and service is average. Tonight, Tia really redeemed the entire chain in my opinion. She kept her cool and maintained great customer service throughout a very busy night.

Would give a better rating except for 2 things- the old timey gas pump just inside the door is a fish tank, which I'm not opposed to. The fact that the water is so cloudy as to be grey though- disgusting and cruel to the one fish that was somehow still alive. 2nd thing- the card machines should offer options for tipping, but they shouldn't ask tip Y/N. It makes people think not tipping is acceptable, and servers currently make 1.15 less than minimum wage without tips. So unless the service is exceptionally terrible, tip your server.

We arrived just after the lunch special was over, but that wasn't a big deal. My wife, daughter, and myself all had spaghetti with meatballs; with my wife having the veggie meatballs. Minestrone soup was our soup option for the day and everyone enjoyed it, even my 3 year old. The server was attentive but not constantly bugging us, she considered my daughter being young and maybe needing ice to cool her soup, and the food was delicious. It wasn't super busy when we were there, so I am not sure how it is during a rush period, but we had no problem with our wait times for food or drinks. The ice cream at the end was tasty as well. I had one of the smoothie drinks (mango) which I enjoyed. If you bring a child, they are still unable to offer crayons, so bring your own if you want to draw on the placemats.

Kids love it. Not going to lie, but I came here for the kids. Three teens, all with cultured palates all outvoted me. I think it's the harmless cuisine they offer and the courses that attracts the children. Everytime we go there's a lot of families. It's noisy and crowded and honestly a can't find anything negative about the food. OSF has been in business for generations and they have the recipe for success. Don't make bad food. The bread, salad, soup, pasta and ice cream is.. Fine.. You know what I mean? Don't look for authentic Italian food or a quality Alberta steak here. It's going to be... Fine. Nothing that's going to offend the sensitive palete. You won't ever be disappointed by the food at OSF but you'll try harder to convince your children they're old enough to eat at a grown-up's restaurant next time. I will admit the servers were perky and friendly and even tried to track down some bleu cheese for my steak and horseradish for my son's steak. Great job staff. Definitely worth my 20% gratuity.

The place is super busy on Friday and Saturday evening as many folks from cineplex wander over so tip - make a reservation to avoid a jam packed sardine like wait. Once seated, I found the service to be quite swift and the food came very quickly. This can probably vary by the size of your group as my table only had 2 of us. For the table beside us with 20 people , they had quite the wait for their food.

I took one star off from the original 3 star rating due to the crowd here. I've been to this location twice in two eparate weekends and you would do well to avoid during lunch/dinner hours. I've had kids (aka spawns from hell) with ear piercing screams both times taking up half the restaurant. While it's not the end of the world, we did get quasi-PTSD from the constant screaming. We ordered the spaghetti with clam sauce and roasted garlic grilled chicken. The clam sauce spaghetti was bland. Salt and pepper didn't fix it. Packed it home and "repaired" it myself. The chicken was ok but the pasta that came with it was also bland and salt didn't fix it either. We also packed that one home. Minestrone was good. Sourdough bread was also good. I suggest to avoid any of the Alfredo/white sauces or pastas without sauce. I've ordered the pastas with marinara and the meat sauce before and they were much better.

I usually don't review "chain" restaurants, however - in this case - I felt compelled to give this particular location some well-deserved credit. Old Spaghetti Factory is an old classic. Usually reliable, especially after a long day at the hill or after sports. I've been dining at OSF for over thirty years, and it's usually consistent most-of-the-time. This particular experience was better than we've ever had though. The food was perfect (for their standards) and the service was on point. Kudos to this location and the combination of things they got right on the night we visited. Bravo.

The classic Vancouver family restaurant's location in Richmond doesn't disappoint. Still one of the best value meals you can get when out with the family. Bread, salad or soup and of course spumoni ice cream come with all the entrees including the kids meals which also come with a drink. Wish we had one closer to South Surrey!

I wish I could infinite stars for this place! I had just donated blood and felt suddenly faint when I arrived at osf Richmond. All the staff, especially Matt K. , were beyond amazing. First off, they provided me a table in a closed section for privacy and to recover. Matt K. brought me ice to cool down, ice tea to get my blood sugar back up, checked on me every 5 minutes to see if I was ok and made me feel comfortable. Matt K. and his team were so friendly, non- judgemental, kind, compassionate and genuinely concerned. When I felt better, I ordered the seafood linguine and the salad. The pasta was really good and the salad was very fresh. The sourdough bread came out piping hot and the spumoni ice-cream was the perfect finish. Matt K. and his team are very deserving of these accolades. Again...beyond amazing!

Paid for a takeout order to be picked up at 5:45, only to be told to go through the drive through window and wait since all takeouts are done that way? So I drove my car to the drive through, I was on time but there were few cars ahead of me and they weren't moving. By the time I reached to the window, no one was there to assist me not to mention I already made the second phone call to let them know I have arrived. It was 6:05 now. I made another phone call and finally I was served and the person said my food was ready 20 minutes ago??? It would be great if someone came out and handed me my order instead of me wasting 25 minutes waiting for someone. It was 6:15 when I finally drove off. That's ridiculous!

My dining experience at this Old Spaghetti factory location was satisfactory. Nothing more, nothing less. While we were immediately seated by the extremely kind hostess who chose to accommodate us first over the obnoxious couple that came before we did, every other part of our experience was just plain average. While our server was courteous, it was difficult to get his attention when we needed our drinks refilled. The pasta was fine, nothing too spectacular about it. In fact, I think the downtown location makes their dishes better. Also, why the hell were there were so many insects and flies flying around everywhere? One landed on our plate of leftover calamari. Overall, subpar everything. This place could take a few tips from the downtown and New West locations.

Actually, the food wasn't bad. If truth be told, it was pretty good. Assembling a custom vegan plate is either a good and easy experience or an unnecessarily challenging one, depending on who happens to be taking your order. At the time of our visit COVID measures where in place, but no signage to inform diners, so the establishment made pick ups more hazardous and confusing by lack of signage. It places extra work on staff who have to manage wayward guests. It could seem like management is working against its own staff ????

She wasn't listening to a word anyone at the table said, she argued that we ordered a plain piece of chicken to come before the meal with the starters instead of on the spaghetti like we had asked, she refused to return it and bring a fresh one with the pasta. She came back 3 times to make sure she got our order correct, which she didn't and we had to correct her. Worst listening skills, zero customer service skills. No drink refills in the hour we were there. Only ever came by to chat about being a vegan with the one vegan in our group. Completely ignored everyone else. Worst experience I've ever had in an OSF. Will not be coming back.

All for like $13. Ice tea refills are free and staff was proven to be really friendly. My and a friend shared a dish but the waiter still both game us ice cream! Food is good, but through experience never order anything that has noodles that are filled like ravioli. It’s counted through prices, so don’t expect too much. Had a great time and decent food ❤️

Food was good typical for what I expect here. They did a very good job with the precautions they have put in place for covid. Menus are qr codes on the tables that bring up a site. They are asking for details at the door for contact tracing and you can pay the bill using a qr code as well. I was very impressed with what they have done for going contactless.

Made a reservation for six at 6:00pm. When our party arrived at 5:55pm we were told the table reserved for us was almost finished. By 6:10pm we asked the host at the front counter for an update and were told our reseved table was not ready yet. We asked again at 6:20pm and received the same answer. By 6:25pm we were brought to a table four. The host mixed up our reservation for another party under the same name. We were finally given a table for six at 6:40pm. The manager came by offering a free appetizer after being seated so far past our reservation time. Our server was super friendly and attentive despite being incredibly busy. If we do come back it will be before 5:30pm.

Definitely one of the best values in town. Where else can you get bread, 3 courses, and coffee all at a sit down restaurant for under $20? Although spaghetti is in the name of the restaurant, I opted for one of their specialty pastas and was surprised by how decent it was. Excellent food for excellent value. A full course meal, with bread, starter, Main and ice cream dessert with tea/coffee for $20 including tax and a fair tip is pretty impressive these days. Service is always friendly and engaging as well as actually delivering the food quickly and correctly. Since the place is popular with groups, some areas can get loud, but if you want quiet, asking for the quieter end does not seem to be a problem. Good bar too. The restaurant is not just pasta either. The mussels, ribs and even the steak are quite good too. Portions are generous without being too much to finish either. Washrooms are clean and the wait area is comfortable. The scale, which I presume is for before and after purposes, is impressive and accurate within 5 lb anyhow.

My family have usually enjoyed going to this restaurant but today was a different story. My toddler has a dairy allergy and I asked for the green salad with Italian dressing. The said I got was a white dressing. I asked the waitress if this was Italian dressing and she said there was and there is no dairy. I was nervous about it so I switched with my friend who ordered the balsamic dressing. Well my friend tried and she said, "that is not Italian. It tastes like ranch but it is creamy" When the waitress came my friend politely asked what dressing it was and the waitress rudely told her it was Italian. The waitress said if she doesn't like it she can get a different dressing and my friend asked for balsamic. Well that was the last time we saw that waitress. The manager brought out the salad. A different waitress came to our table and the plates were not taken away between the salads and mains. It was not a great experience. Also I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs to share with my 1 year old, who has the dairy allergy. I even told the waitress that I would share it with my son. She brought out the kid sized spaghetti and meatballs to share! I didn't want to say anything after the salad. I will repeat that my family has had good experiences before this day, however, I think we will look for another restaurant.

We had very good experience at downtown location so we wanted to try the Richmond location. Service was good. But we were disappointed with the taste in the pasta. The sauces wasn’t as savory and tasty as the other location. It felt like they didn’t not put enough garlic or butter. It wasn’t bad but just felt average. Parking was easy and not a problem to walk insuring week day. We tried to book during weekend and it was fully booked.

I still remember the first time I went to the Old Spaghetti Factory in Gastown back in the 80's. I was surprised a the price and how everything was included in the price. Fast forward to today, and like most other places, prices have gone up and portions have gotten smaller. The sourdough loaf we use to get is now a hoagie roll and my lasagna that I could barely finished before, I can polish off, no problems. Maybe I've just gotten fatter. Taste is still really good. I've been to high end restaurants that have pasta that doesn't taste as good, at double the price. Service has always been top notched too. I recommended it for anyone who who has a craving for pasta

Have you eaten stamp glue or the Richmond Newspaper? It's the aftermath of your meal here. The food is disgusting. I have never eaten so badly. I wish you good digestion. For information we took the Carbonara and my wife the spagetti pesto with basil. It is however easy as a recipe and well they succeeded in making it really bad. A star is already generous! Service is ok.

This place is what it is. I mean on culinary terms, compared to all the other restaurants in the area it doesn't rate. That said, it is still decent food (think Olive Garden, but with more authenticity and a better atmosphere). Surprisingly cheap drinks compared to other places in Gastown, so if you want somewhere cheap to pre-game... Usually quite busy, especially during peak times.

Excellent place to go for lunch. Food was good and the service excellent. No complaints from our group of 9 today. ( we sat in 2 separate tables) Food and drinks came out in a timely manner. Good covid 19 procedures in place. Also excellent that there was no automatic tip for our large group. That is a big plus as I do not support restaurants that have mandatory gratuities. It is a bit out of the way for this to be my regular lunch stop but i will come here for special occasions.

My go-to place when I'm in the mood for pasta. Lots of pasta choices under $15 from their "everything included" menu. You get sourdough bread, minestrone soup, tea or coffee, pasta of your choice and ice cream. They also have non pasta selections.

It's the Old Spaghetti factory. Old reliable. Passable food. Decent service. Nothing special. I don't like the paper menus because they are wasteful. They get dirty easily and then should be changed out.... Except this restaurant will just keep using them. Gross to have the previous persons meal on my menu.

My kids and I come here frequently prior to lockdown, and since they've reopened, we have been back four times already and is planning to keep coming back. Their food tastes great as usual and their staff is always friendly and courteous. I have a lot of respect for them especially during times like now: their manager kept thanking us for returning. In fact, I should be the one thanking them! We will keep coming back and will recommend them to anyone who is looking for a family friendly restaurant!

Wonderful service and good food. Have been here a few times when hanging out with friends before a movie, or looking for dinner after one. The food has always been very good quality. Nothing particularly exciting but always tastes good. The staff are friendly and helpful and our server has always made sure our free bread was topped up. One time we even came in just for drinks and still got a loaf of bread (even though you are only supposed to get it with a meal). They have a good selection of local craft beers and also carry your typical options. They have lots of options for mixed drinks too, and can make any typical bar fare. This place is a particularly good place if you have a big group. They have flexible seating to accomodate larger groups, and the menu has options for everyone. Check it out some time.

Decent for the price you pay. I always order the managers special! Mizithra cheese and spicy meat sauce! For under 20$ pretty well fed. Friend order lasagna, sadly not the same experience. Looked great, it was like sawing into a brick, burnt on the bottom and not like it's not that bad. It was really badly burnt but the pan wasn't too hot. Didnt want to risk being late for a movie she had some of mine and loved it

Can't beat their all in one deal! Salad or soup, meal and ice cream all for the one price, depending which pasta or entree you choose. Includes coffee or tea too! Love their house italian salad dressing, so yummy! Also the fresh sour dough bread brought to each table, as many as you eat. Staff is super friendly and they are all covid aware. Sanitizing, maintaining their distance and wearing masks. Highly recommend!

Attended a birthday party here the other night and we got excellent service even though we had an overwhelming amount of people. Would recommend their service for birthday parties. We even stayed a little late because we were so excited chatting away after closing hours and they didn't give us a hard time. Very welcoming and well organized. Thank you to your staff! And of course the food was delicious.

Greeters were friendly, and not a long wait for a table. Food was fairly standard. However table service was subpar, we went on a fairly quiet night, it took 15 minutes to get an order in. Maybe an additional 30 minutes for the food to come out which was cooled off by the time we received it, we had to ask multiple times for water or bread which took about 10 minutes to appear. The server offered cheese and pepper however didn't show up until 10 minutes later when the food was half eaten we had given up waiting as he passed us multiple times. We also asked for tea and coffee, which wasnt originally offered to us by the server, however it didnt show up and the wait times had us running late for another appointment, so we just picked up the bill. Definitely my worst experience at any Old Spaghetti Factory in the lower mainland.

Richmond one does not offer the Hunters Chicken, which is something I alway order at New Wes location, and is usually very good. I ordered the spaghetti with clam sauce instead and it was completely flavorless and they barely put any sauce on it at all. Noodles were almost dry. 2 stars were for the service, bread and sides only. I have only tried Richmond this one time and was quite disappointed. Maybe some other dishes would be better, but it was bad for a first impression.

So, rating is based on my takeout experience. There richmond location has a take out window which everyone has to get in line. If someone's in front of you but they arrive early for pick up, you can be waiting 10 minutes for their order until you get yours - even if your order has been ready all along. So the next time I ordered I chose the online option of in store pick up, and when I went inside I was told to go outside and line up, wasting more time. When I got to the window I asked why the website offers this option, and she said I should have been able to pick up inside OR at the window but clearly I wasn't able to. Food was good but yeah, it gets cold when you have to deal with these delays. And emailing them gets you nowhere.

Reasonable price for a "3 course" meal. You get a salad or soup, main, and ice cream. There aren't many vegetarian options here. One sauce seems like it is vegetarian but they use chicken broth in it... so best to ask the server. I typically get the manager's favourite which consists of any two sauces from the below portion of the menu. My sauces of choice are the browned butter and mushroom.

Always good for a solid reliable dinner. Nothing fancy just solid comfort food. Told them when we checked in (10 mins wait at 6pm) that we were in a hurry and trying to make a 710pm movie. We preread the menu and ordered right away. Food was served super quick and we were finished and paid by 645pm. Theater is across the street. Made the movie with time to spare. All meals include soup or salad, entree , ice cream and tea or coffee so it's a good deal for average $15 to $17 each.

I have avoided The Old Spaghetti Factory for years but this one has completely changed my mind outlook on the chain. Awesome atmosphere, food was tasty (pepper and cheese needed though) and inexpensive. Cocktails need some attention but for $5, I couldn't really complain. If you're in the area, it should be on your list for places to consider for dinner.

The customer service is wonderful. They brought free bread to our table right away. The value for the meal is always great here. You get bread, soup/salad, and ice cream with every meal.If you get pasta you can't go wrong. The other items on the menu are not as good. My child ordered the pizza and had one slice (wasn't very tasty) and then finished my pasta! There was a pesky fly at our table which we kept batting away.
