You will be able to see all the information of people who consume the services and products of Sultan Of Samosas (Restaurant) in the area of York Factory (Canada).
At the present this business has a rating of 4.3 stars out of 5 and that score has been calculated on 127 reviews.
As you can see its rating is quite high, and it's based on a large number of scores, so we can conclude that the assessment is very credible. If many people have bothered to give their feddback when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to write feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

Best Samosas. Get the mango sauce.
Hands down my favourite samosa place...Ever. it's just a take out counter, but it's always got customers in there. Even when there are a few people in there (it probably only holds 6 people), service is fast. It's my favourite because they wrap the samosas in a crunchy skin instead of a dough. Yum. The sauces are good too. My husband loves the tamarind one while I prefer the yogurt one. You get one sauce (a little plastic container) per half-dozen samosas. Try it. You will not regret it.
Fried fresh, light and crispy samosas with variety of flavours. All the meat samosas were juicy. The employees were friendly. Cost was on average more expensive than other places. With that said, excellent quality and service and I will definitely be back! Note that this place is in a corner plaza with two entrances and the sign if green and white. So at night, it may be hard to see the sign but it’s sandwiched between Laundromat and a market with bright signs. Be careful going in and out of the plaza because the exits are tight.
Disappointed with the size of the samosas and also how oily they were. I have to admit, I didn't try all of their flavors, but the original potato one was my favorite. The meat ones were disappointing.
Their 10 veg and Mutton samosas tastes awesome!
Little pricey and the service isn't super friendly, but best samosas I've ever had.
Freshly made and good delicious selection
Great Samosas. I wish they had this in Quebec where I live.
Best place in Scarborough for Samosas, they have many variety of small sized Samosas. Same consistant taste since years ????
Picked up an array of vegetarian Samosas yesterday and found them all drenched in oil when I came home to enjoy it. It had so much oil that upon biting, I got an actual drop of oil pouring down my mouth dripping from the crispy layer. Not an impressive first time experience.
The selection is good, about 7 varieties usually, depends on how many ppl visited & time of day to get the best selection. The samosas are on the smaller size (approx 2.5 inch). They are not your typical doughy samosas, they have a thin pastry, that is fried crispy & completely stuffed no air pockets like the large doughy varieties. Most orders tended to be over 20 pieces, so they sell out of certain varieties faster then others. The fillings are quality, not just veggies & potato, I recommend the spinach cheese & the paprika chicken. Cost is average for what you get, don't forget to take your free sauce for dipping. I only have one negative, I asked several times (4) which samosas/sauce are NOT spicy, as I can't eat hot spicy food, the staff's understanding of the spicing level of the food was abysmal. I ended up with spicy veggie samosas & a mango sauce that burnt my mouth, I couldn't eat either & had to through it all out. Other then that, the line ups are reasonable & the products are well made. Parking isn't to bad, but it is hard to get in & out of the lot, onto the street. They have an outside pick up window if your order is not ready, the space is too small for ppl to linger.
Samosas so good your lick your fingers
Had to lineup to get them, but it was worth it!
The place is really small (only meant for takeout). Busy busy place!! Samosas are really good!
Always a good variety of samosas. Tasty and fresh and great prices. If I'm in the neighborhood, I'll drop by to get some to go on the road! Discount if you buy a bunch. Mix and match to suit.
I drive 30 minutes to wait in line on a Sunday for the best Samosas the city has to offer. Beef and Chicken are my top picks
The staff opening this past Wednesday is very disorganized. Reached the shop around 10am and there were a couple dozen of samosas out. Asked to have all of them, but she fails to mention they are already taken. After 10 mins she's finally ready to take my order again. The lady she was helping before me asked for her order of cooked samosas. So what was left was 2, and she said she'll have another batch ready in 5 mins. It took her another 5 mins to put the samosas in the fryer. A couple of guys came in and service became even slower. Not coming here again...
I happened to stop here randomly while at work. I got the lentil samosa, it was the best samsoa I ever had.
compare to size price is too much. taste is ok. I like the crispness of Somosas.
I came here because of the positive reviews (and because I like samosas) to try one of every type of samosa they offer. All were excellent. The restaurant is small and there is no seating inside as they only sell samosas and drinks. Prices are fair and I would recommend it if you're looking for a tasty snack!
Best samosas in town, my favorite steak & potato with spicy mango dipping sauce.
Good but expensive because size of somosas is very small
Simple store with a lot of fresh and tasty samosas. Do yourself a favor and eat one (or two) as soon as you get back to the car. No one will know!
The best samosas in town
There are so many types of samosas available here! Service is fast and the people are respectful.
Not as good as it was very very greasy, had an upset stomach for a couple of days.
Love it .
Beautiful,but.. The waiting times at the place are FOREVER and the specialty samosas always are sold out. But it is worth the wait. Definally try it out.
I honestly didn't think I liked samosas, until I tried these samosas! Wow!
Samosas served were steaming hot on the inside and the shells were crisp.
Good and fast customer service, nice taste
Just my favorite samosa place. Highly recommended, specially in big amounts and different fillings. Boa larica!
Excellent service in the middle of the Toronto lockdown.
The samosas used to be really good, I was there the other day, they wet oily. I know they are fried in oil but oil should not be dripping out of them. The quality has gone down.????????????????
Delicious samosas. Fresh , not oily. Very good service.
Our favourite spot for samosas. Always hot and fresh.
Continues to be the best Samosas in the area.
Best samosas they have a great variety and are always friendly
Dinner
One of the best places to get Samoas in Toronto, service is quick, and the prices are good. Last time I hade there coconut dessert somousa and it was delicious, I can only really speak to their vegetarian samousa but they are all great. I hear there non-veg stuff is good too (if your into that kind of thing).
The staff is great and very friendly. I've NEVER had any attitude from them at all. Made right in front of you, what else can you ask for!
I did not hate this place. Its pre-made that you can get in bulk and deep fry. Not authentic or quality in it. You want fresh samosa..there are great places in Scarborough.
Different from the normal samosas but different good. Love the choices, Ten Vegatables is my favourite.
Great samosas, best around.
The lineup out the door tells the tale. The woman behind the counter is poetry in motion as she cooks, takes orders, handles cash and bags orders. By the way, the samosas are to die for.
Very good samosas! Tried the chicken and beef ones today. Will definitely go back! Good idea for bringing treats to friends & family!
Always great samosas!
Good variety of samosas and crispy. A bit too much oil but I guess that is part of the crispiness.
Best Samosas anywhere. I have been eating samosas from the Sultan for more than 25 years. This location never disappoints!
The tastiest samosas you will ever have. The chicken paprika, spinach and 10 veg are my go to.
First time enjoying samosas from Sultan and they were delicious. Favourite so far are the Spinach & Cheese
A great little place. I discovered it by accident when we were using the laundromat next door. It seems to be a very popular place it's always busy Everytime I go there. Take out only. A very affordable snack. They have lots of different fillings for their samosas and they are always very fresh.
Absolutely worst service u can get in world. Lady working there curse me in native language.
Nothing extraordinary, an average Samosa which you can get in frozen packs from most of the grocery stores.
love this place service is always good food is amazing
Large variety of samosas, chicken, veggie, beef, lamb... the list goes on. I wouldn't say they are the best I've ever had, but they are good.
I love there veggie samosas..very tasty and fair size..and only $1.15 each..I recommend this store highly
Best place for bulk orders of very tasty samosas in this part of Toronto
Friendly staff, amazing samosas - and a HUGE selection of choices! Delicious.
The varieties of samosas is unbelievable. So tasty and yummy a bit pricey though
A local favourite for hot samosas to go. 12 fillings to choose from and 4 sauces. Buy by the half dozen for a quick snack. Buy dozens frozen for parties.
Meal type
Little pricey yet not a bad a taste.. More than anything has variety.
Best samosas around. They're not the 3 for a dollar kind, but you do get what you pay for. This is a popular place, so expect the samosas to be fresh and warm. I love the tamarind sauce. Parking is normally not difficult. You can order them frozen too, if you're ok frying them at home. Highly recommend.
Its mediocre. Tried like 7 to 8 of them. Fairly small for the price and the sauces are very watery. Customer service felt rushed as well. Very very oily.
Mmmmmmm so delicious. Glad I bought so many. But wish the Chutney was thicker
Nice samosas but very oily
Tasty treats. Friendly service.
Great samosas but too oily for weight watchers
Lunch
Okey for price per samosa and rush in there with only one person cooking and serving.
Whenever I remember it, I occasionally go here to buy my personal favourite, which is traditional beef, along with 10 vegetables, and spinach and cheese. Although I’ve tried most of their varieties, the complex taste of traditional beef always hits the spot for me. Only negative thing to comment about it is just amount of oil the samosas have. The samosas have a crispy outer layer and the inside is filled with stuffing to the end of their samosas. It is deliciously aromatic, so don’t be afraid to go ahead and try their varieties to see what is your favourite one. Just remember to use napkins over the samosas if you want and to get their free dipping sauces. For me, the yogurt one is a great match to the spicy samosas!
A bit on the bland side...prefer samosas that are a bit more spicy.
My first time ever going to this restaurant and I was blown away. I'm certainly thankful my friend told me about this place because their samosas are amazing. The traditional beef & spinach and cheese are my personal favourites thus far but all the samosas taste great. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who loves samosas. Definitely go check them out.
Fresh just deep fried variety of somosa the dipping sause the tambrin is tangylisious fast service
Fantastic samosas, fresh and some tasty mango sauce to go with them. Luv them from here????
We don't buy somosas often because we are pretty particular. These somosas are pretty great. Great, delicate, crispy exterior with many delicious filling options. We like the chicken paprika and the beef option but you really can't make a wrong choice here. Additionally, the spicy tamarind sauce and yogurt coriander sauce are great accompaniments. We have found that this location is the best. Our experience at the downtown store was quite bad, the somosas were overcooked and fairly inedible. Highly recommend this place, if you like a good samosas, you'll love these.
These guys supply almost everyone with samosas. Even if you haven't been here you've probably tried these little gems. Best I've had; a bit more expensive than some places but still very reasonable.
Different and best samosas in the gta.
Amazing Samosa's - Best kept secret!
Great tasting always available and the price is right for best in town
It's fabulous! It's still original but Canadian at the same time.
Have been getting Samosas here for YEARS!!! A great spot, hidden jem!!! Yummie!! Always friendly staff.
Good samosas but service is not so good
Tasty samosas. Pretty reasonable pricing. Quick and friendly service.
No taste at all , too much oily and very expensive… if you are charging customer that much at least put some effort to make samosas even little tasty,,,
Takeout is their thing. Good variety, good taste.
Awesome selection and great service
Fresh!
Worst samosa ever....first time i visited and really worst i am totally disappointed because i really want to eat samosa
This is a pretty good place, went there for the first time the other day. The Samosas are very good and tasty. They are on the smaller size but they have a great variety of flavours. I recommend going there early as they run out of certain flavours if you go later in the day.
Always a great selection. always busy but good cause everything made fresh all the time. i would like to suggest that they thicken their sauces a bit....very watered down.
Awesome Samosas. Great variety! Definitely coming back
Asked if there were chickpeas inside the samosas the girl at the counter said no. Even informed about my allergies to chickpeas. But there were chickpeas inside the chicken samosas. I wish people working in good places like this take food allergies seriously.
Best samosas you can get
Great samosa in town but a bit pricey compared to the size.
Yummiest samosas in GTA!!! Comes in 10 varieties - beef, mutton, tandoori chicken, steak & potato, daal, 10 veggie etc. Mutton and 10 veggie options are a must try. A little bit pricey ($1.15 each). Well, good things in life do not come cheap!
The Sultan should up its status. This place is the King of Samosas. The samosas are always fresh and keep warm till you get home. The sauces are good complements to the flavors and should be bought too. If you don't know the place try it. You'll like it. The counter area can be crowded at times.and parking spots can be scarce. If those occur just remember its worth the delay.
I have tasted Samosas a lot better than these ones in GTA area. Dislikes - Size, Price, Taste and too oily
Always the best. A great choice if you're a vegetarian too with lots of options.
Great beef samosas, spinach and cheese one's are really good too. The other one we tried were good/ok.
Service
Samosa all kinds you name it's there
5 stars to this place! Celebrate the Indian tradition of great food.
The reason I find this place has the best Samoas is obviously the flavours are fantastic but what sets them apart is their pastry shell. Unlike other samosa joints who have similar great tastes, Sultan of samosas use a very thin yet crispy and supportive pastry shell. Other places use too much pastry and not enough filling.
Best samosas in TO as far as I know
Best place for samosa beef very delicious.
Amazing samosas! However the first time I went there someone else stole my order & I had to wait for a new one
The Samosas here are great, looking forward to trying some more next visit!
Always an excellent product. They offer the thin skinned and very crispy style of samosa.
Good tasting and good quality food.
I've had better samosas. Lacks flavor. You should go to south India to have the flavourful samosa. After reading the reviews, I had great expectations. Unfortunately, it's not even close to the decent samosa which I had in Canada near Mount pleasant go station.
These samosas are awesome! There is such a variety here to choose from. Definitely not your everyday samosa shop. Highly recommend it if you want to satisfy your samosa cravings.
Hadn't been in awile. They were even better then I remembered. Good variety. They were all very good.
Once you start eating you can't stop
Great service....best samosas in the city....a little expensive. But worth it
The samosas are one of the best I've had in Toronto. They are smaller than the usual ones I get but delicious! They have several varieties and they are all great
Great food,.. my first time trying this place. Will be trying it again.
The flavor tasted good but it was oily and too expensive
A local gem. I love the thin crispy wrapper. Allows me to appreciate the filling more. I've tried the ground beef (reminds me of tourtière, mmmm), and the chick pea one. Will definitely be returning.
Best Samosa selection in the City. Soooo good. They're really crispy and great sauces too.
Great samosas! $1.15 each or buy a dozen for $12
Great tasting samosas, and a good deal to buy some frozen later for home place really clean and neat.
Tasty samosas, unfortunately they do not have pakoras anymore
Always GREAT tasting Samosas.
The samosas were pretty good and service was friendly. I tried out the beef samosa and chicken with paprika with all 3 dips. My favorite is the yogurt dip as it has some kick to it. I gave 4 stars as they were really greasy. They seemed to have absorbed all the oil. Other than that, i loved it.
Delicious samosas - steak and potato and curried veg are especially good. Get the fresh coriander and yogurt dip - you won't regret it.
They have a wide variety of options here but not all seem like authentic flavours.
Great freshly fried samosas hot and ready to go.
This place is amazing.. fast service and samosas are delicious.. they always have lime ups so make sure you give yourself plenty of time.
Great samosas and nice variety to choose from. Dipping sauces too.
I do not understand how you can call what they are serving Samosas. Also extremely oily, smelly and leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Would not recommend
Best selection and quality of samosas
very small oil filled wraps, NOT SAMOSA. TOO COSTLY AS COMPARED TO QUALITY
Simple.. straightforward.. good samosas
Best Samosas in Canada FULL STOP!!! Same quality as my favorite place as a kid growing up in Kenya!
Awesome samosas! The service is super fast friendly. This place was amazing 15 years ago when I first tried it, and it's still good to this day. Highly recommend trying one of each type of samosa along with the spicy mango dip. It will come up to about $11. Great to bring to any get-together
Honestly the best somosas I've had so far in the city. Made fresh and difderent flavours to try!
Each samosa is 1.15$,.. Very decent taste, and very good service! Only to go.
Other
Always fresh
Take out
Best samosas in the world.
Delicious assortment of samosas...Tried the rest....these are the best! Crunch on the outside and moist, tender and delicious on the inside.
Love this little tucked away shop. Amazing samosas. Completely unpretentious and delicious. Instagram: @aliceeatstoronto
The place offers a great variety of delicious food. I loved dining here. Staff members are always nice, rates are fair and the spot is always kept clean.
Absolutely love this place, been going forever. Every samosa on the menu is delicious including the vegetarian options. Best samosas I’ve ever had, this place is worth the trek if you don’t live in the area.
Very tasty vegan options available. Love the two bite sizes and leftovers (if any) freeze well.
Good samosas with variety of flavours. Love it.
Loved the samosas here.. Very economical prices as well. A must try for Indians!
If you love Samosas then this place is for you! They have a good selection of Samosas, made fresh. The staff have always been friendly, and the store clean. There is a little bit of parking there. This is the best Samosa in Toronto in my opinion, if you go try the Tandoori chicken Samosa. They are all really good, and they have vegetarian Samosa as well.
The best Samosa in Toronto easily
My first time eating a samosa and holy jumpins was I impressed. I thought my taste buds were lying to me so I ate a dozen more and was equally impressed. I have been known to go get a dozen for myself and just sit in the parking lot and eat them. People have stared at me and given my weird looks but I don't care....I have a big of samosas
Excellent samosas
Drove all the way out to this location to find a closed sign in their window. The business hours on their door indicates they should be open and their voicemail says they should be open (although nobody picks up the calls). Whether they are closed for good or only a short period of time, the fact that they don't let their loyal customers know is a piss off. I have been buying samosas from this place regularly for over a decade, but you just lost a customer.
Very good quick and cheap too
Best Samosas EVER! Just take-out, no dine in.
These samosas are the best! Crisp - fresh and full of flavour! Awesome
Decent, aka best in the area. Terribly unorganized service process and staff made worse by the slow, chatty, indecisive customers ahead of you in the inevitable line. Not worth it.
Scrumptious.. Mouth watering… What can I say about the Sultan? There’s none better around. The samosa is plump and flavorful. I recommend the spinach samosa due to its health benefits and taste!
I used to think I had to travel out to the west end to get really good samosas but I'm so glad that was once upon a time ago! Hands down my all time favourite place to get samosas! They have a small selection variety each of meat and vegetable samosas. Price wise it is a little more expensive but the quality reflects that and they do not disappoint! Start the car!!!
Best samosas I have ever eaten since I was a child I been coming to this location.
Sooooo sooooo good. Highly recommend...they are addictive! Love the beef, potato and cheese and spinach and cheese for our kiddo as well.
Best samosas in town. Check it out, it won't disappoint.
Really Bad Samosas. Tandoori chicken samosa was a complete mess, Only chickpeas and zero chicken. 1.25$ for 1 samosa. I wonder how it got 4.3 rating. I can't select zero rating, so have to give 1. Don't waste your money.
Okay but quite pricy 1.25 each. Chicken samosa taste really good but size is very small.
Amazing selection of samosas and always fresh! The traditional beef samosa is crispy with a very tasty savory filling.
Best samosas in East York
Been going here for years, best samosas I've ever had!
One of the best Samosas spot in Scarborough! Variety of flavours, well prepared, friendly staff & great prices especially for catering!
Good in taste but they shouldn't charge for extra sauce lol ????
I don't normally eat meat but the mutton samosa was outta this world ????????
Best Samosas! I could live off of these things. They have a medley of different types of Samosas as well as desert ones. You can also buy just one if you so please. There's also a bunch of sauces/dips to choose from. It is a very small store though and is for takeout only. Prices are fairly decent.
Great samosas, good options to choose from, a bit expensive but worth it
Probably my favourite samosas but had to take off a start for their services.
Their samosas are flavorful, crisp and value for money. The only problem i see is this location is under staffed, they are always low on ready to grab samosas. They should take some lessons from samosa factory on managing things. With such kind of demand, they should never run out of samosas.
They are hit or miss. When they are cooked properly they are absolutely delicious. The last batch i bought was just coated in grease inside and out.
Yummy smallish samosas at prices lower than standard sized ones. They have at least 3 vegan flavors; each flavour is delicious. Good spot for when you want something oily and flavourful!
Best Samosas in town...????
Amazing samosas, I love the beef or the spinach and cheese.
I ordered chicken samosas but got 6 veggies The worst place not like the old day days when everything was perfect and the samosas r very oily
We met with friends at this place for dinner. my friend recommended this place. Well, we were not disappointed. we were warmly welcomed by the staff members and we felt good. The meal was yummy. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Keep it up.
Great samosas must visit
Best East-African style Samosas in Toronto. There is nowhere to sit or eat, strictly a counter to order from. Always a crowd picking up, so call ahead if you have a big order. The menu can be found online.
I had placed an order for 120 samosas by paying in advance. When I got there expecting the order to be ready I was in for a surprise as they were not ready and I had to wait for another 45 minutes to get the order. To top it up the person did not know how to count and gave me only 72 samosas. Luckily I checked and reconfirmed otherwise I would have been shortchanged. All and all a horrible experience.
Went here based on other reviews. Was not impressed by the quality or the taste.
Great selection of different samosas that you won't normally find at other places
Delicious! Great variety and appropriately spicy. Good dipping sauces too.
Samosas and sauces are delicious and at a fair price. We get some every week.
Epic East York delights. Delicious, always fresh, always tasty.
Everything here is fresh and so good.
Not all of their Samosa is amazing. But generally best Samosa in town. Make sure to get it with the Mango sauce.
Good samosas. I bought these to take home. Bought frozen so we have stock at home. Live far away from Toronto so buy in bulk and they stay well frozen in freezer. We just bake them at home and they turn out good. Bought beef and vegetable. Both are good.
A bit pricier than other samosa places but higher quality..i like their spices. Tandoori chicken. Expensive sauce too.
My favorite samosa place, although I cant visit often since I moved too far from it, I make sure to go when Im in the area. You have to eat them as soon as you get into the car! Otherwise its still very good after coming from the fridge and into the toaster. Sauces are a must have. Through the years, I've always wished they have a bit of seating but I guess they will never upgrade.
Love the thin, crispy, flaky crusts of their samosas and the ratio to the filling. I dont like them all doughy with little fillinglole some places. They are busy so always have fresh and hot samosas ready to go. Great variety of flavours from mutton, beef, steak, chicken and vegetarian. Not in a neighborhood with a lot of 'South Asian' cuisine but worth seeking out and going out of your way.
Fantastic samosas, the best in town!
I've always loved this place and even after years of not coming here, I was still amazed at the taste, freshness and selection of samosas.
Fresh made, well seasoned, polite service.
Service is bad. They charge you for sauces but don't giveit to you. Check your order before you leave
Best samosas I have ever ate.
Great samosas and good prices. We have been coming here for years and happy to support an awesome local business.
Meal type
A very busy place with great samosas. Try the dessert samosas too, they are good. I advice you to order upfront to beat the crowd. It is almost always a 15mins wait. Also check your order before you pick up. They missed a few samosas during one very busy time.
I have visited this place a few times and the samosas are fresh, tasty and excellent. It is just a take out establishment, but the service is quick and courteous. The spinach & cheese, steak & potatoes are what I usually get, since they are not spicy.
The samosas are good and many choices to pick from. They're not worth the price though. Medium sized samosa for $1.10. I expect to get a large samosa for this price. I'm not comparing to 3 for $1 but to the same price range. They can get away it as it is hard to find daal and other stuffings.
Mouth-watering samosas, excellent service, and great people behind the glass!
Absolutely delicious. I am a jamaican and so far these are the best samosas I have ever tasted
Always fresh however the staff could be more friendly.
I've been to places in Brampton and Toronto that have better pricing but the service I experienced today at 12:30 with no line up was atrocious. Two ladies were working and I had one be incredibly hostile when I asked about size of appetizer and also for a variety they didn't have. I ordered for a potluck so the quantity was a lot and also a few for myself to try. Sadly I will not promote this place if the owner allows staff to be rude to customers who ask questions before purchase. I'm exceptionally kind to front of line staffers because I've been one and sympathize but when I go above and beyond to treat them with respect and smile and am greeted with a kiss teeth and aggressive behaviour in packaging my product followed by no thank you when given a receipt after spending that amount of money it's just a shame. This is the first ever bad review I've written for anyone but that young lady (there were 2 ladies: one that was wearing no makeup and the rude person had a ton of makeup on and too bad attitude didn't match the exterior beauty). The samosa tastes great but the price is very high for the appetizer size.
Delicious and fresh Samosas.
For all sorts of samosas...
Best in the world 2021 feb 8
Just tried Tandoori Samosa at this place and all I could taste was chick peas, asked Faryal(the lady) that it didn’t taste good at all and if I could change it to something else and she refused. She is like that’s how it is! Terrible service - do not try their tandoori samosa - don’t know how everything else tastes - Never goin back!
One of the best samosas in town. Lots of flavors to choose from.
Best samosas I've had in T.O.
It was fresh but too much oily and not to my expectations.
Love this place. Drive down all the time or send my husband. I love samosas and these are packed with great taste. My fave are the meat, ten vegie, and daal. I also buy frozen.
Samosas were bland and chutney were ok as well...
Great tasting samoosas and good service
Service
Take-out place for tasty samosas. Various fillings. Price good. Don't miss the mango sauce!
If you like a variety of different flavours, both veggie and meat you will find some good choices here. They have flavours like steak and potato, mutton, beef, chicken with spinach, paprika chicken, tandoori chicken and some veggie flavours like daal and potatoes. Depends on what pleases your palate. And the samosas aren't doughy like some samosas (too much dough and not enough filling). They seem to have a constant flow of takeout so most of the samosas are made fresh and sold quickly (at least while I was there for about 45 mins.....I had a large order). Prices aren't bad either. I think good value for money.
Tandoori Chicken samosa is must try.
If I was allowed to give in minus. First, if you are vegetarian don't go there because they don't care, they would place wrong labels, or there is a possibility your veggir samosa would have meat in it. They would even try to talk you down not accepting if the samosa has meat in it until you physically go there and make them look at it. I would not recommend this place at all.
Great tasting samosas with many different flavors if they are your taste
Ordered 4 different type of samosas. As per receipt. 2 type of fried and 2 type of frozen. Instead of beef they gave vegetables. After frying we came to know its vegetables, Spoiled everyone's mood. The problem is i cant go and change it. Coz i came from Mississauga just for this order.
Their reputation for having the best samosas in town is well deserved. Try them, don't settle for mediocre substitutes.
Best samosas in the GTA. Those in the know go to this tiny spot for excellent samosas. Pricier but equates to quality compared to Samosa King. Hot and fresh always. You won't be able to eat just one so might as well get a dozen at least. The spicy mango sauce is awesome - sweet, spicy, savoury. Mutton, Daal, and Spinach ones are faves. The tandoori chicken one is not bad too. The wrap is flaky and the filling quite a bit.
Great place for fresh samosas. Place is busy for good reason.
Over priced and tasteless, There are a lot better, tastier and less expensive choices now in GTA. the youg girl behind the counter was borderline rude, Would it kill her to serve with a smile ? I will not be going back there.
Best samosas for Canadians and Indian together.
Always delicious. Always fresh. Always the friendliest service ????????
I love this place it has some of the best samosas in the city they are small but full of flavor. They are also made fresh in the back some days you can see the women back there making them. They are great for a quick snack or grab a bunch for a party you will be loved. The yogurt dip was my favorite but since I'm dairy free I love the tamron sauce. My only complaint is that they took thepakoras off the menu and they where the best I'd ever had.. PLEASE BRING BACK THE PAKORAS. Thank you from a long time customer..
4.5 stars. A small spot that is a grab and go spot. Expect line ups at times too. Lots of variety of samosas at a good price range. They come in bite size and more of the thin crispy shell than the bubbly thick ones. Fillings are very unique and also they do fill the samosas up from corner to corner. Their dipping sauces are also worth getting as they add another layer of flavour to these samosas. Chicken paprika was the favourite here. They are slightly more oily than most samosas.
Getting a bag of mixed samosas and not knowing what they are until you eat them is a bonus. Good sauces for dipping. Good samosas.
Ok ok
Easily the best samosas in Toronto. They have a good variety of samosas, both with meat and without. They are crispy, not oily. Put simply, they are delicious.
Best damn samosas in the city! Been eating from here since i was a kid. Still tasty. Long live Sultan of Samosas!
Really tasty samosas but greasy. Would definitely recommend.
The variety of samosas is great but the staff isn't always on the ball.
Best samosas in Toronto.
I can't say if these samosa are traditional or not, but I find them to be very tasty, a good size, and there is a great selection of different flavours. The prices are also very reasonable.
Take out
Takeaway only. Large selection of mini samosas. Pretty good stuff.
Over priced. Unsanitary. Used to be good back back back in the day, not anymore
This is hands-down my favourite Samosa place in the city. They have tons of flavours to choose from. I usually get a mix of different flavours because they're all so good. However my favourite has to be the tandoori chicken. I also like how they accommodate different dietary restrictions. As they have a vegan option, as well as ones without onions Etc
The best samosas in town.
I would not recommend this place to Indian's. The samosa's were not freshly made and were probably frozen one's. The oil was smelly and dripping from the Samosa's. I actually had a bad stomach the entire day because of the oily & tastless food.
Awesome vibes and very personal service. The food was crisp and delicious. Will easily recommend this place to my friends. Convenient rates and generous meals. Great job.
always fantastic
Very truly the best place in all of Toronto for some mos's
The best samosas you could ever find. Very addictive and delicious
Definitely a little overrated but still way better than so many other so called samosa places. Not too sure if they are halal as they do not display the halal sign on their door. Friendly staff. Samosas were good.
The best samosas ever! I always make a priority to visit when in town, which happens to be today ????
Love this place , great samoas very good staff. Highy recommend
Dinner
Best samosas in town. Especially the 7 veg.
Samosas, samosas and more samosas ????love it. Freshly made every time.
No better samosas in universe better than Sultan of samosas, its not only taste of South Indian but locals too. BRAVO
Pricier than most samosa places but totally worth it. The samosas are fresh & yummy! Their green sauce is perfect with the samosas.
Best samosas in Toronto! Good selection but more expensive than average.
Best samosas around. Incredible selection, always fresh great prices.
Their beef samosas are the best and great The others are not that good. This is a takeout place. It is cheaper when you order in large quantities than single ones. A single beef samosa is around 1.25$.
Great food, a little pricey but honestly worth it!
They have an interesting variety of samosas! Extremely friendly staff <3
Way overpriced small in size very tiny ok in flavor not the best expected better 1st and last time sorry 12 for 14 dollars should be 3 for a buck and I'm being reasonable
As I'm a huge monarchist, I came to see what all the Sultan business was about. Decent samosas and chicken, good service, but didn't expand much on the potential Sultanate kind of vibe. Other than that, it would get 5 stars from me.
Just Don't know how to make samosa. Had to through it in the green bin.
Best samosas in town
Great samosas with a variety of different types. Get the sauce with it.
Overrated. Samosas were crispy but the fillings wasn't tasty AT ALL. I am a Samosa love and very much disappointed with taste and price. You can find far better and way cheaper real samosas all over GTA. Few options are Samosa & sweet factory, Pak Sweets, Bismillah sweets, Samosa King and the list goes on.
Lovely people working. The taste and quality of the samosas are great. Nice crunch and flavour. My favourite is the chicken paprika.
Great, great, great! The samosas that they make here are like they made in India over 30 years ago; crispy thin crust (not thick, doughy and oily). The variety of flavors is wonderful and tasy. Take some uncooked frozen ones home with instructions to cook three different ways! Service is awesome, matching the food.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, very oily and tasteless. Overpriced for the size.
Really good samosas and great variety. Love the tamarind and spicy mango sauces.
Great tasting and fresh samosas.
Delicious Samosas a great selection of meat and vegetarian choices.
My favourite go to for Samosas. The paprika chicken and mutton are amazing. Great choice of chutneys.
Very good samosas. One of the best in town.
I've never seen so many varieties of Samosas under one roof before???? Staff is polite and customer service is decent, recommend this place ????
The best samosas in Toronto. Use the same pastry as my mums...not as good but ever so close
Great and fresh food, I love the ambience the place has, and the cashiers were nice. Will surely visit here next time.
Samosas are always fresh and delicious. The taste and quality is always consistent.
two days ago was the first time we went to this excellent restaurant. But It is surely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the good service, with the magnificent food and fine drinks and with the comfortable price. We will no doubt come back soon.
When you do one thing, and do it well, you are a true pro. This place is my go to for samosas. It's all they do, and they do it very well. Their unique thin, crispy outer shell is the key. Perhaps you might say it's not a traditional samosa, but I think you will agree that it's a delicious samosa indeed! Go try for yourself. Enjoy!
Good samosas. Be sure to ask for the coupons and use them if buying a big lot of samosas.
For the best samosas in town... multiple options (beef, chicken, veggie). Inexpensive and always ready
Fast service and delicious mini samosas
Best samosas I've had in Toronto.
Good food ????great staff
Great Samosas with several choices. More expensive than most but still great samosas
Great place to buy samosas! Good taste for a very reasonable price!
Best samosas I've tried in Toronto! Highly recommend checking this place out.
Very very yummy samosas! I like the fact that they're smaller than traditional samosas so it makes them easier to eat. The skin is crispy, like fried wontons, which is different from other samosas I've had, but nothing wrong with that. ???? The beef samosas are my favourite. The mutton ones have the typical lamby taste, but definitely not overpowering. The tandoori chicken ones don't taste like tandoori at all; and personally I don't like chick peas that much, but that's just me. The cilantro spicy sauce tastes great, but I wish it was more spicy; it was way too mild, to the point where I thought I was given the wrong sauce. Anyway, overall, highly recommended!
The best samosas I've ever tasted. I especially love the beef samosas although they've got a variety of vegetable and others.
Samosas are honestly quite small, pretty overpriced. Yes they have a more selection of fillings, compared to other places just having vegetable or meat. However, the amount of filling is really disappointing, at times the samosas are quite greasy as well. In terms of value, I wouldn't really recommend this place for your samosa hunting.
Maybe the best samosas in town. Perfectly crispy yet airy and fluffy, this popular to-go spot is constantly churning out fresh batches of samosas with fillings ranging from steak & potato to tandoori chicken to a number of vegetarian options like spinach and daal, all for around a dollar each. Grab a dozen to go if you're nearby, don't forget a spicy mango dip.
Delicious Samosas. Mmmmm
Always the best samosas. Found out that to order ahead you have to call before 7 pm. But the place is open to 8 pm.
Very crispy, well flavoured
OK food. Only veg Samosa and at 5 for a dollar, about quarter size as to what I'm used to. Cash only.
Sketchy little place in a sketchy part of town. Service isn't all that good. But the food is absolutely dynamite. A dozen different flavors. Great dipping sauces. Usually fried to crispy perfection. Bravo. Reasonably priced too
Excellent selection, great samosas.
So yummy. So. Very. Yummy. That is all that needs to be said. ????
Samosa's are excellent with unique and traditional flavors and varieties. The stuffing and pastry is fresh too! However, the only reason for the four star review is their price. Samosa's are almost $1 each even if you buy in bulk. I would definitely purchase more often if the price point was lower.
Awesome samosas. They have good variety and reasonable.
Best meat samosa. Every time I have a get together I make the long drive for the samosas.
Amazing samosas. Good customer service. Had some issues with payment. The terminal would not accept payment through my phone. Hopefully next time for a 5 star.
Wow!! Just as I remember them, for the most part. These Samosas are good and such a wide selection to choose from. That being said they were super oily, it literally felt like I chugged a bottle of Crisco and you might want to have your cardiologist on speed dial. If you have an air fryer, I suggest you put these in there on the lowest setting to get rid of some of that oil or leave them in some napkins to soak up the oil (see pic. of the 6 samosas I left in napkins) . Otherwise they taste good but they are quite expensive.
Take out
Amazing samosas ever!! The dough is flaky, light and melts in your mouth. The fillings are so tasty, liked the spinach/cheese .Definitely going back for more! Very addictive
Freshly made samosas. I'm taking away a star because I ordered 3 dozen of one kind and instead of them giving me a big aluminum tray they told me I would have to pay $1 for it. I did pay, but to me they should have given it away for free as most places do. That withholding service at the worry of losing $1 profit didn't seem right.
Such delicious samosas and amazing service! Order ahead if you need a quantity. The best samosas are 10-veg and Tandoori chicken!
I love this place I've been gone for years there is a parking area in front of the store the people are very nice they serve you with a smile on their face and they make sure that you get the right product and they make them on the premises they're fresh everyday they're always making them every hour on the hour it's never an ending stop with them but I if I was to recommend a place for samosas this would be the number one place my family even goes there I have my kids my kids go there and they enjoy it it's also good for parties because they may come small they make the medium large different varieties there's chicken there's beef there's vegetables there's potato everything they also would make them when you want them ahead of time and the price is well worth it. You should go try them if you're Samosa person I'm a true queen of samosas
Samosas are really small, and full of oil!! And had to wait a long time to get my order.
They make the best samosas. They offer frozen as well.
Really bad experiennce there was a piece of stone (bigger than a tooth) in my samosa ! Never trust such place.
Slow indian ladies and the samosas don't takes the labels
I am a regular Samosa loving dude so don't trying to critique or sound chef like. But how can you stuff just potatoes or some random 10 veggi lumps n fry to call them veggi samosas. It's quite prices for $1.25 a piece. I took them a starter to a friend's place and boyy these samosas were the only thing no even tried a second piece.. Truly disappointed and never seeing this place again. I feel more when you know you are ripped off and that too for delicacies that all usually love.
Great service! Delicious, unusual samosas. These are small flat triangles with crunchy pastry, unlike the more pyramid-shaped ones with a flour-based pastry. They are deep fried, so expect some grease. They offer discounts with larger purchases, and you can mix them up. They also sell frozen ones you can cook at home. Note there is no place to dine here. Count on taking out as it's a tiny place. Here are the stuffings to choose from (from the website): 10 vegetable splash seasoned with methi leaves Traditional beef with fresh onions and coriander leaves Steak and potato with garlic, dill and black pepper seasoning Paprika marinated chicken with fresh onions and coriander leaves Tandoori chicken Kabuli Curried four-way vegetables with assorted baghara spices Fresh cut spinach with feta and mozzarella in oregano and basil dressing Can-Eurasian inspired potato & cheddar cheese with paprika seasoning Traditional Daal with flavourful turmeric and fresh coriander Mutton with traditional West-Indies flair Three homemade dips (Try them all! Really!!) Coriander yogurt Tamarind (sweet) Spicy Mango Our favs: tandoori chicken with spicy mango dip Spinach and feta with coriander dip 10-vegetable with tamarind dip
2:30 in the afternoon I was followed into the store and accosted by a very drunk individual. The staff didn't assist or even comment on the incident. After that ended, I looked over the offerings which all looked tasty, but at $1.15 each for a very small samosa, I opted to go to Canbe foods where larger samosa are sold 4 for $1. Sultan of Samosas advertises that they have surpassed 1 million samosas sold, so I'm not worried about this review hurting their bottom line.
The samosas were really really good but overpriced for the size...I'd still buy tho cause they were good and the service was on point
Love this place! Tasty samosas, always fresh. Great choice of flavors. Very pleasant staff!
Samosas are perfect with a good variety of flavours
Amazing Samosas!!!! By far my favorite.
Love them. Freshly made samosas in great flavors - some traditional, like tandoori chicken or curry veggies, and some fun versions like spinach, or potato and cheese. Often busy, if you want lots or specific flavors order ahead. Their sauces are terrific too, love the tamarind sauce especially. You can also buy frozen to fry yourself!
Very good product. Never hate paying for them - priced well...good stuff!
I'm no samosa aficionado, but these were definitely the best I've had so far. A bit pricey considering size and quantity, but great for an occasional experience I suppose.
These are the best Samosas I've ever had. I love this place
Meal type
Long time samosa place. My favorite is the beef samosas and my sister loves the tandoori chicken. They have other flavours
Great Samosas! Delicious & Cheap!
Super taste amazing flavours and they are piping hot out of the fryer
It's too bland to be called Indian samosa.. N Soo tiny for the price they charge
By far the best samosas next to home made! Their cheese and spinach samosas are my new favourite!
I must say that this reminds you of India
Got 15 Samosas for 15 $. I would say this was the most horrible samosas I have ever had in Toronto. There are better places around vicinity such as Famous Cash and Carry Indian grocery store . One can get 3 Big tasty samosas for 1 $. I ordered 1 tondoori chicken samosas and Potato -cheese samoas and none of them tasted per their name. I am baffled how the oulet is still running. The size of samosas are extremely tiny for the price paid. I will never recommend this to anyone.. !! Total waste of money.... !!
Stopped by there for an afternoon snack and regretted it the rest of the day. The samosas tasted like stale grease, the filing was grease mush... Had heartburn rest of day and could still taste them at dinner time... I eat all over city as I'm a driver these are the WORST samosas I've ever had. ..overpriced too
Went there found no place to eat , it was just a take home system. The Samosa were quiet tasty and they attracted with different varieties . But 1 samosa was like 1.10 $ each . That's way too costly for a bite .
Great tasting samosas, reasonable prices, and fast service. I've been visiting Sultan of Samosas for a few years and they have some of the best samosas in the area. I love their traditional beef, tandoori chicken and steak & potato. I think that the beef and tandoori chicken both have the perfect amount of spice although it may be a little hot for some people but I find it's a very flavourful hotness. I highly recommend Sultan of Samosas. They're perfect for parties since you can feed a dozen people easily at a reasonable cost. I believe they also cater to larger events with some notice ahead of time.
Love the samosas and service wasn't bad considering the current situation.
As I my girlfriend and my brother were perusing through the area, we stumbled upon the true sultan of samosas. The individuals working there were pleasant and swift. The line was short and quick. And the samosas, were not at all what I expected. Usually they lack taste and most importantly, love but the longer I chewed and consumed the better it got .For those of you who have yet to venture this far out for samosas, I suggest you take the time to do so!
Hot very fresh good flavor. A little bit expensive!
Too much oil. And all taste the same. In non vegetarian samosas.
fully recommended place for samosa must visit
Rich Man somosa. DOES NOT worth $1 each it is the same taste, quality and size as the other somosa store in most places. It is double or even triple the price than other.
Amazing samosas!!! Great service. Takeout only restaurant
Great variety, however on the smaller side given the price and market. Taste is quite good.
Chicken samosas were great, others were hit and miss. Price is average, some samosas weren't as fresh as I would have liked.
You get what you pay for, the prices are cheap so.... Years ago this place was the spot with good customer service, hot and fresh samosas. Now its a last option if I need a quick snack close by.
Pretty good samosa. Crispy, nice amount of fillings. Liked the mutton one
Freshly made, SUPER crispy and 10 varieties to choose from!! Yessss...choices!! 10 Vegetable is my favourite, so flavourful. 5 Veg Curry - Spinach & Cheese - Dallas - all are amazing - ???? ???? ✨ The coriander chutney is ahhmazing, pay the extra and get MORE!! =) They also have a tamarind and mango variety. Worth the drive to the East end if the city!!
Can accommodate large orders and have a great variety. Super tasty.
A wide variety of samosas for reasonable price.
The ladies who serve me are always friendly, the samosas are delicious and they barely make it home when I get them. From the time I get in the car, I am "just having one" over and over. Thank heavens we live close so my family can enjoy them too.
Love the samosas. So crunchy and so good. Best samosas in the city.
Daal, mutton and potato and cheese are our favourites. But everything has been well prepared and delicious.
I enjoy their samosas, but they ran out of most of my favourites. Bad timing.
The absolutely best Samoa in Toronto Small, crisp and well spiced.
We really enjoy the potato, spinach and beef samosas. They accept debit/credit and they do proper covid protocols where only 2 people are allowed inside at a time. Store itself is quite small. Samosas are very tasty, outer layer has a nice crunch and they're always fresh. It also comes with 3 different sauces that vary in spiciness.
Meal type
Always love to grab some samosas from the Sultan... ????
Love all their samosas
Great selection of samosas. Sadly I didn't get a photo of the varieties but I did get a photo of the pricing and the interesting machine to check your temperature and dispense hand sanitizer. The varieties we were interested in vegetable and mutton weren't readily available in the heating trays however the merchant let us know that we could order and they could fry it for us on demand but that it would take about 5 minutes. We had the option of 2 dipping sauces with an order of 16 samosas total. From what they explained coriander was spicy, mango was mild and tamarind was sweet. We got the mango and tamarind, personally I liked the mango better, tangy with some mild spice. Now the samosas, amazing... I've been having a craving for samosas for the last little while and found Sultan of Samosas perusing on Google. Turns out this wasn't too far away and the suggestion was spot on. I tend to order the regular variety vegetable samosa at most places and this was great! I tried some other varieties and actually thoroughly liked their mutton samosas that I'll be coming back for more and trying the other varieties. Either fresh or hours later the samosas were still as good in form and consistency as when we got them. I'll definately be back and trying the rest of the varieties.
Service
The staff always provide great service and quality samosas. My family loves the samosas and they are a must-have at every gathering.
Showed up at 8:23pm Nov 11 2017. Place close at 9:30pm, when arrived they had nothing to serve???? Not sure why they open and have nothing to serve
Tasted all varieties they have and they are delicious ! Highly recommend the Spinach and cheese samosas!
Decent samosas despite their steep prices :/
Expect to line up and wait since they run out fast but they're usually making more in the back in big batches. The popular ones get sold faster. Great choices and quantity for decent price. Good for tea time snacks for small groups of brown people. You want to make more brown friends fast? This is what you take to their house. Trust me, I'm brown too. ????
The dal samosa's were not well cooked. :(
Best samosas I've ever had!
Always outstanding. Worth the wait
Always busy, always delicious. Whether you eat them immediately or reheat at home, you can expect to thoroughly enjoy whatever flavour you choose. Highly recommended.
Great place! Best Samosas in the city, hands down.
The samosas are light and delicious.
Excellent samosas with good variety.
Not sure how this outlet has been so highly rated. The taste was just about average. Having tasted different types of samosas, I don't think this place deserves any better.
Still the best samosas in town
Nice beef samosas! MUST TRY
Worth the wait these Samosas are delicious! You can buy a small amount or in bulk. Great for a gathering or party.
I wont recommend the samosa place . Two girls close the samosa place at 7:45pm. Dont want to fry or take clients after 7:45 pm. I told staff I will bring the samosa coupon and the girls told me yes to bring it. I reached back and then the girls both lied and close the door and said can only give non fried samosa. Dont know why they have dishonest staff working. Total shame.i wish I can give negative rating.
Lots of varieties of samosas at a good price always made fresh they dont last on the trays .
They've few samosas filling to boost. Not as tasty as others that have eaten. Small and priced high at $1.15 each. Others average at 40 cents.
PROS: Different. Wide variety of samosas (i.e. spinach, cheddar cheese, steak, potatoes, etc) CONS: Overly oily, practically dripping. Quality has significantly dropped since their inception. Will not be back.
Samoa’s are ok but way too expensive. Won’t be returning. Unfortunately not many choices for samosa places as in the West end or Brampton.
A bit of a lineup to get in, and they ran out of half the samosa variety. But still very delicious and worth the hassle.
Hated It, would've rated it 0 if I could. First of all they used frozen vegetables, secondly the price is so much for the size.
Fantastic samosas!!!!!! Price could be better tho!!!
The worst samosa ever. It was full of oil and it was super cold. Samosa is almost a dollar per piece and I think it is expensive surely not sultan of samosas.
Absolutely scrumptious samosas, though a tad expensive at a dollar apiece for small ones; that's the only reason for four stars instead of five. Flavours are spot on, and turnover is rapid, so they're always fresh. Service is quick and polite. They will give you a choice of two chutneys with your order. We absolutely relish the curried vegetable, and spinach and cheese samosas. Their chicken and beef samosas are good too. Wonderful for a quick snack with Indian masala chai!
Love the samosas here. Fresh, hot and delicious. Plenty of options and friendly service. Always a great choice.
Sometimes there's a small wait time, but worth it.
They have a lot of variety and I liked them too but I find them to be overpriced. Please like my review if you find it helpful.
Discovered this jewel recently purely by chance. These guys do just samosas, but do it really well. These are not traditional samosas but the thin crispy pastry with the delicious filling is so much better. The chutneys are great as well; the tamarind is a must try. The store itself is small and lacks eat in space but the taste more than makes up for it. The staff seemed very nice too.
Really nice selection of samosas, but as another reviewer said they are a little on the smaller side for the price. The curried vegetable ones I found didn't pack a strong curry flavour, but the mutton ones are really, really nice. Really like their spicy coriander sauce, though their tangy tamarind is also good.
Delicious samosas - they carry about eight or nine different fillings. I ordered the tandoori chicken and the chicken paprika. A nice cool coriander yogurt accompanies the samosas. It is always busy - the little treasures are quite labor-intensive so, if one has a large order, a phone ahead is recommended. The canola oil that they use is changed often; this prevents burning and keeps the triangles from getting grease logged.
Great taste, texture, variety. Only problem is they are addictive.
Awesome samosas! Tried their spinach and cheese (feta and mozzarella), mutton, and traditional beef samosas. Definitely will try them again.
Delicious, fresh samosas, and a great variety of flavours. They're a bit small for the price, but they do have volume discounts.
Varieties of samosas. I like chicken tandoori and chicken paprika. Awesome test.
Only selling samosas....Great fast food Indian restaurant... Lots of different flavors of samosa.. Friendly staff... All ways fresh...
Long wait but great tasting samosas.
These samosas are like no other fresh and crispy oozing with spices and other flavourful goodness. I love the variety they offer beef, chicken, spinach. So good.
I was there before the city COVID shut down. There was a bit of wait time to get my order. It was my first to try out the samosa in this restaurant so u ordered only a dozen. The woman behind the counter had a stern face. There was a huge variety of tastes and flavors. I found the samosa to be overly oily and did not like any of the flavors I tried. It was too spicy for my liking so it disturbed my stomach. Not sure what the hype is about.
So good. Great variety. Good prices. Yogurt dip is the best
Their samosas are always amazing. Please note that the prices have gone up dramatically. 6 months ago they were $13/dozen, now $18/dozen. I was caught by surprise.
5 star for taste but 3 stars for price. It is pricey for samosas.
Amazing cocktail party size samosas. Variety of fillings
Service
Tasty samosas, deep-fried for a quick snack or frozen to make at home. Various kinds with vegetarian options. Free dipping sauce for every dozen samosas.
I love their samosas - very tasty and they have many varieties.
clean shop, friendly staff, served immediately.
I hate myself for going there 2nd time in twenty years. Worst samosa ever. Could not even finish eating and had to throw in the garbage. Super expensive. Never again.
The absolute best samosas in the entire GTA. It's completely takeout, so be prepared, but the quality, variety and price cannot be beaten.
These are the more expensive samosa but I highly recommend them. You definitely get what you pay for if you are interested in trying out samosas.
Potato and Cheese is amazing. Also make sure to get some frozen ones to make at home ????
Best beef samosas
If you like to eat Samosas, You must visit this place and eat Sultan of Samosas. I bet you ,you will fell in love with this place. They serve hot and fresh.
Crispy, light and lots of options. Beef, Veg, Chicken, etc. 8+ types. Went to find them after a friend brought some over and proclaimed "Best Samosas in Toronto!". Delicious.
Delicious! I've been going here since I was a kid and it's been the same quality ever since, must try the spicy mango chutney
Delicious samosa of all flavors. Bit greasy.
Get the chicken! It tastes deli-cious!
Nice samosas but expensive
Good samosas but for what you get, the price is a bit steep.
Sadly, way too expensive for just some samosas... Should include some other traditional brown drinks and food and drop prices.
Pretty damn tasty! Not 5 stars cause some times you can get a cold or kinda warm samosas.. my favorite is the chicken paprika!
A great variety of samosas and historically known for the best samosas in Toronto. However the young staff there are not well trained. I saw them emptying frozen samosas into hot oil. No wonder the samosas I bought there were oozing with oil. They were so oily that I could literally fill a teaspoon with ever two samosas. I had to throw them away as it would give me a heart attack! Well that's what happens when you put frozen samosas in hot oil. Can the experts please train their staff correctly in the art of making the perfect Sultan samosa? Let not this unique pride of Toronto samosa place go down because of such negligence by the owners.
A bit pricey for the size of the samosas. The taste is good, four varieties, and Halal.
Delicious samosas Unfortunately owners lie and claim halal but it is not. No halal certificate. No halal signs. Called head office and asked if there was any way for someone to verify that it indeed halal, was told I have to take their word for it loooooll good customer service
Take out
They are good but they need to install at least some chairs in because sometimes you have to wait until the samosas are ready.
Best samosas. Frozen samosas are very convenient to buy in bulk. Not a fan of the tandoori chicken samosa because the chick peas stay hard. Mutton is the best IMO
Real "sultan of samosas". Best samosa in the city.
Best samosas in Toronto.
These samosas are great, beef, spinach & cheese, and daal are my personal favourites. I try to keep at least one flavour stocked in my freezer at all times just in case I have a spontaneous need or craving for samosas.
Best samosas and variety of stuffings in the city!
Good samosas but too expensive.
Their samosas are really delicious
They really need to change the oil in the fryers... Samosas had a burnt taste to them as a result.
Picked up 12 curried chicken & 12 vegetarian samosas for a work-team lunch snack. Very impressed with the flavours & crispy light shells. Would highly recommend! Some people might be confused about why some reviewers RAVE about place while others are complaining about the samosas. To me, it's the difference between heavy-thick battered Cantonese egg rolls versus light crispy Thai spring rolls...which would you prefer? (Hint: most people like crispy light spring rolls)
Small sized, thin dough, many variations, very fast. Excellent use of spices. All seem great. I don't taste much cilantro (the devil's lettuce), which is a bonus. Free dips with the orders. Take out only. Frozen also available. Friendly ladies.
Delicious samosas for great price !!
Love the choices in variety of samosas one can buy. Some of them are no where near "indian" but more of a fusion of flavors between east and west....and I love it. The tamarind sauce is the best....can't wait to go back!
Perfect place for variety of samosa.
The absolute best samosas in the GTA. My family has been going here for years and it still has us coming back. Love that they have so many different flavours as it satisfies many different palettes. The smaller size of these is also much preferred to many others. Without definitely recommend.
A little for the portion but so delicious. I Had there vegi, steak and beef. I recommend if you are in the area. Honestly a good little snack before you head to the science center.
Thin crispy skins, not thick and doughy, lots of fillings: Vegetables, dhal, chickn, mutton, tandoori chickn and ground beef. 3 different sauces: tamarind, mango, and yogurt (more like a runny raita) they used to do pakoras too. My favs are the: 10 veg, dhal & tandoori chicken with the raita & tamerind sauces 2022 update: the tandoori chicken now uses minced chicken instead of cubed chicken.????????♂️
Never tasted samosas too Good
Any Hot samosas tastes good. Do not go for cold ones.
Tastes great. Love these and so do my kids.
The best
Have been coming here for years and the samosas have been consistently excellent. Owned and run by a family that cares and provides great service.
The samosa lacked seasoning. It wss bland. I think, it was just a human one time error. I tried 4-5 varieties; the potato and cheese was tasteless. The daal samosa was the best. Spinach and cheese have rosemary flavor which I didn't liked. The samosa are a bit westernized, but, the flavour is good.
Great flavours, definitely get their green dipping sauces. Both the fresh samosa and their frozen x12 packs are fantastic
Liars liars liars. To all Muslims this place is not halal. A family friend told me about this place so I went out of my way today to get samosas from here. I asked them first question if everything was halal they said yes I asked for the halal certificate the girl working there ignoring the question kept saying halal at that point when I asked again she said talk to head office which I called right away twice once they picked up I asked is this place halal with full certainty the lady on the phone said yes I then asked if they have halal certificate she said yes but I cant show you thats when I got upset and said why not she said we are not allowed at that point I reminded her of the rules and regulation of saying a business is halal you need to have proof. That's when she told me the owner is muslim which makes no difference at all and nervously asking me for my contact info and said will call me back and I have not heard anything yet. The reason for the long story to all my muslim brothers and sisters dont go by what people say always ask for proof I will be getting the HMA certified authorities involved hope this experience helps all in the future. Another thing once proof of halal is assured make sure to check if its hand slaughtered and not machine that is a big mistake Muslims make machine slaughtered is not halal.
I got the potato and cheese and curried veg. I recommend!
Just got the samosas . When opened the bag at home there were 9 samosas instead of 12. Each samosa costs more than a dollar so it was disappointing. The taste was fine, find it too greasy. Update: The company did reach out to me and provide a coupon for a few free samosas so I am grateful that they fixed their mistake. Upgraded from 1 star to 4.
Great place. Runs out quickly
Good samosas, for a good price
I use to come here with my parents as a kid, now I come here whenever I'm near by, after work. These are by far the best somosas ever!
The best Samosa but prices starting to creep up
Great service quality samosas
Love this place! Love ordering samosas to go for lunch plus getting a bag of frozen samosas to make at home.
Absolutely delicious samosas and the Tamarind sauce is the BEST!
