Not impressed. For the price I expected much much more. I had the crab cakes to start, followed by the Fillet with a lobster tail various sides for the table and bread pudding to finish. The crab cakes were super dry, so much so I was adding butter that had come with the bread to the warm plate for some moisture. My fillet was excellent but the lobster tail was over cooked and rubbery, I had trouble getting through it with my steak knife. Sides were ok, and the bread pudding I had for dessert was awful, very hard and the topping was cold.

Surprising a slow night, subsequently it was cold inside with the air conditioning. We sat outside. The steak is broiled and served on a hot plate with butter. A little pricey in comparison to a similar steak from the competition.

Amazing as usual..this new location is perfect right by the airport and only 10min drive..The food was amazing zz we had the New Yorkstrip, filet Mignon, chicken and ribeye and a few sides..Andrew our server was like no other never experienced service like that before..all and all Ruth's Chris is a must even if it's only once a year..

I went here a few weeks ago. Made a reservation for three. The prices are pricey but totally worth it. The Steak was amazing and I keep thinking of going back. The service was amzing and they did a great job in explaining everything. I only wish that sides were including with the steak but it will not stop me from going back. Everything was clean including the washrooms. The atmosphere is really cozy and relaxed as well. Great job guys!

Appetizers come in hugeee portions. I like the hot plate concept, when they serve you your main course, depending on what it is, it comes on a sizzling plate which remains realllllly hot through out your meal. By the way, the steak and lamb chops are halal ????

Beautiful restaurant on airport road. Located on the same grounds as the Holiday Inn. The staffs are simply the best. It's a well crafted fine dining experience. The food is served while still sizzling. You see and hear the sizzle. The food is perfectly cooked to your taste and it never disappoints. Mouth-watering and sumptuous!

I had the stuffed chicken breast. It was really tasty, juicy and flavourful. I just found it too salty, such that I couldn't finish it. I definitely would have enjoyed it even more if it was less salty. For Muslim readers: this location seems to always have this (stuffed chicken breast) halal along with their New York Steak.

I visited this exquisite restaurant, the Dixon location with my sister to celebrate life! Our experience here was exceptional from the start to the finish of our meal. We received a warm greeting from Jacob, the Manager and we were seated in a booth close to the bar. I loved that it was intimate and cozy. Our server Scott was one of the most amazing servers we have ever met. He was very attentive and kind. It was a sincere pleasure to be served by him and ALL of his suggestions for our wine, steak and dessert were amazing!!! We enjoyed the 16oz Bone in Filet (sliced table side), the Shrimp Voodoo, Veal Osso Buco Ravioli, Lobster Mac n Cheese, Creamed Spinach, Mashed Potatoes and a bottle of Seven Oaks. I loved the sizzle of the butter as our steak was placed on the table...it was magical. Because there is never too much when it comes to incredible food, we had a flourless Dark Chocolate cake with a hint of Espresso and a raspberry coulis for dessert. We plan to return really soon and I will definitely ask to be placed in Scott's section again. EXCELLENT food and service! Thank you very much ????

For an appetizer I had the spicy shrimps, and for my main meal I had the stuffed chicken breast. Oh my my, boy was the good!! It’s was mouth watering, I literally could not stop closing my eyes out of enjoyment. ???????? The lady and two guys serving us were amazing. I have had good experiences going to other restaurants but this one tops them all 100%. Looking forward to coming back. You got yourself a loyal customer. ????

I come here for most of my celebrations. They always decorate the table accordingly with confetti and give you cake with your name written in nice script. They do this even if you don't tell you it's your birthday in person. It's all done when you make your reservation, and just put what you're celebrating. As a rule there, the manager must come to your table to say hi and make sure that everything is alright. There's free coat check and the food is just pure delicious. It is a little pricey, but well worth the price

Ingrid is the worst server ever, she disrespected our entire religion and family at the table. Super racist and disrespectful towards people of colour especially. Food sucked and they were very bad all together. Never coming back here.

My first time here and my experience was great. The food was very tasty and my waitress, Ingrid, was super nice, very knowledgeable, and provided exceptional service. The environment was very relaxing as well. I was surprised to see there were no booths with comfy lounge seats for such a nice place. The tables were pretty basic for the high price of the food. My next visit to this place will be reserved for a very special occasion, only because of the price, but this is definitely my favorite steakhouse.

I celebrated a quarantine birthday this last week and even though I was unable to go out and celebrate, Ruth’s steakhouse made it great! Every person I spoke to on the phone was extremely nice and welcoming. Pick up was quick and super friendly! The food was individually packed with reheating instructions on every box. The steak was absolutely amazing!! Probably one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend Ruth’s Chris steak house!!

My wife and I visited for our anniversary lunch. The wait staff were extremely friendly and polite. We got complimentary bread to start, which was buttered and a little garlicky. I ordered the mixed grill, and she got the 3 course special. My chicken was almost all breast meat and had a fantastic infusion of herbs and spices. The 4 oz steak was tender, delicious and perfectly cooked medium well. The crab cake was perhaps the best I've ever had, very tasty and practically no filler, unlike what you'd find at most other places. Not pictured is the sweet potato casserole that I ordered as a side; I found it too sweet, and regarded it as a dessert more than a savoury item. Since my wife is on a ketogenic diet, I got her banana cheesecake. It's an interesting twist on cheesecake, which I think I might not have enjoyed as much as I could have, since I was so stuffed by this time. I finished the bread pudding (which had whiskey) just prior, and it was pretty good with the custard. Good desserts overall, but this place really shines for its entrees.

Food was decent but the service was pretty atrocious. The waiter we had was not very attentive and overlooked some members of our party at times when we were placing orders. When we received our food he didn't ask us to cut into our steaks like they normally do to make sure everything was cooked to our liking. Never came around to ask how the food was. He pretty much disappeared and it wasn't like they were busy as it was a Thursday night. We were there for a birthday party, in the past they will come out when it is time for dessert to advise that the person celebrating their birthday gets a free chocolate cake and then take everyone else's orders. Previously due to allergies they were great and substituted the cake for something else on the dessert menu. But tonight he brought out the cake before offering dessert menus and when my father advised he couldn't eat chocolate cake, instead of offering to substitute it he just shrugged and walked off. My husband had to ask someone else for dessert menus. We then had to wait another 15 minutes to place said dessert orders while this piece of cake sat on the table and then when we were placing our dessert orders he overlooked one person (we were not a big group). We've been to this Ruth Chris steakhouse before, many times over the years and always had great service but unfortunately because of this experience I can say I will not be returning nor will I recommend it to my clients and friends.

It is no secret that you will spend a pretty penny here, but let me tell you, it is worth every dollar. The rack of lamb (which I ordered) and the steak (I obviously had to steal some of my boyfriend's) was sizzling, juicy and cooked to perfection. All of the sides are great, and the bread pudding is a must-try. I think my favourite thing about this restaurant is the exemplary service. Andrew took such good care of my mom for her birthday! Well done Ruth's Chris.

We had dinner on Sunday December 29th. What a fabulous experience! The food was amazing and our compliments to the Chef. Our experience was further enhanced by our server, Vince. What a genuinely nice gentleman. He made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed our conversations with him. He is really an asset to your restaurant. We will definately be back and will request to be seated in Vince's area.

Excellent service when dining in. Halal steak available so super plus. My husband loves steak, and he has tried a lot in his life. He says Ruth's is the best he has had so far! The lobster mac n cheese was delicious. Only downside is your main doesnt come with sides so you order that separately. However the steak is so delectable you wouldn't even want anything else!

Be prepared to spend some money. The food is amazing, especially the beef it's in the top 2% . Prices are a tad steep and remember when u see the price of a steak it's just the steak , so sides are extra at about 14 dollars a pop. The staff are very knowledgeable they know there stuff. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. It's not everyday u go to a place like this so if your in the mood for a steak , give it a shot u won't be disappointed. I recommend the 11oz fillet so yummy.???? And for side garlic mash and onion rings there massive. Cheers enjoy

This was our first time at Ruth's Chris and we were not disappointed. We were greeted and seated upon arrival without having to wait. The hostesses were warm and friendly. Manny was one of our lead waiters, he was knowledgeable, funny and accommodating. Nothing was too much to ask. Our food was cooked to perfection and an amazing experience. It was our first time at Ruth's Chris and may I just say.. they did not disappoint. Firstly, we were greeted in such a lovely manner and escorted to our table with a warm welcoming feeling. We don't get that type of reception often. Our server Andrew welcomed us with warmth and enthusiasm. He made our experience quite enjoyable from his friendliness to his expertise of service. Our meal was cooked, presented and served with elegance, sophistication and perfection. We really enjoyed not only our meal but our overall dining experience. A BIG thank you to Andrew our server and the other gentleman who I cannot remember his name but I say he is a Drake look- a- like..a big thank you for everything :) We plan on making Ruth's Chris our go to Steak House when we are wanting a delicious steak cooked to perfection, a meal presented and served with elegance all embraced with, warm, welcoming and friendly service.

Go across the street to the Keg. just trust me and thank me later. There's no option for 0 stars , so I'll give my mandatory 1 star to the service staff , because they were nice. Value , ambiance, and comfort is just ridiculous at this place. Of course the steak was good, but not worth 4 times the price of an entire entree across the street.

Took my wife here for a good steak. It was a great steak. Better than the keg, closer to Jacob and Co. (without the price tag) The service was on the ball. Server was informed and on cue. My friends and I went to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse over the weekend, and absolutely loved our time there. Not only was It delicious, but Manny made it extremely informative - he made some excellent recommendations on what combinations would be best. I ended up getting medium rib-eye sided by Au Gratin, and was completely mesmerized. Excellent spot, and Manny is your go-to guy for an excellent time there.

I am a regular at this place. I was there two weeks ago for the lunch. The server told us that Halal steak is not included in the lunch but she will honor it but when the bill came, she charged full price and simply denied what she had said. Sent an email to them later but no response. Will not go there again! Disappointed.

Went to Ruth’s Chris to catch up with my son. Never been to this location on the airport strip of hotels. Service by Scott was friendly and fun. Did simple apps with shrimp cocktail and their house salad. For our mains we ordered the BIG BOY, a bone in rib eye to share. Because we were sharing they offered to slice it in the kitchen which workout perfectly. As per RC fashioned everything came super hot and delicious. I also enjoyed their 1/2 bottle of Amarone. I was back here a few days later for a friend’s b’day. Can’t say more than that!

Came here for lunch to celebrate my son's birthday. Staff were polite, friendly, and attentive. We both ordered the lobster bisque. At first I wanted to try a different appetizer since I had ordered the bisque on a previous visit but when I remembered how good it was I had to order it again. I wasn't disappointed as it was once again excellent. For our entrees we ordered the ribeye and filet. They came sizzling in pool of melted butter. Probably not the healthiest choice but the steaks were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. For sides, my son odered the fries and I the creamed spinach. They too were very good but the helping size was huge. Sides are easily shareable between two people. My son was comped a chocolate mousse cake to celebrate his birthday. I ordered a creme brulee which provided a great finish to an wonderful meal. It was very expensive but so very good!

I come here every now and then for business meetings and it is a treat to have a sumptuous meal at this restaurant. The food is quite rich, and I am never able to finish it, so I end up taking a lot of it home. Really like the steaks, and yes, they are served sizzling with melted butter (which you can ask them to hold if you like). Sides are great too, as are the desserts. Service is attentive and the ambience is quite pleasant. They have some facilities for small meetings, which works for our group.

Have dined here a handful of times both pre and post covid and have always had terrific experiences. Food is outstanding and the staff is warm and accommodating. I thought it hard to get good Halal steak in GTA, but I was so wrong.. The whole service was extra ordinary. Everything was so perfectly cooked and this was one of the who actually knows how to cook medium rare steak. I would highly recommend this place. We made the reservation online and they also decorated the table for my friends birthday. Truly a great place for a date night, birthdays and upscale dining! P.S. They also give you a choice of steak Knives.

First time tried Ruth’s Chris steak house and choose the set meal with added 8 dollars for the 16oz beef. Both put an order for medium doneness for both of the ribeye steak, but my friend’s steak turns out to be medium well to well, while mine is around medium well. We politely feedback to the waiter who serving us and it was took back promptly and was served another piece later on with medium doneness. Top notch service! Salad and dessert is just normal. I like the baked potato and the flakes of bacon, it’s quite nice, my fried ordered the creamed spinach is good as well.

Really expensive. Like really. But you know that going in. The mood was really nice. The waitress was super nice. They wouldn't even let us pour our own water, because we were to relax. The food obviously was great. The menu is a la cart so when you order a steak its JUST the steak. You have to order a side if you want one. The steak was really good, soft and well prepared. The plates come hot and that's something unique about this place. I will definitely go again but generally only on special occasions because it's price is quite high.

Staff: Excellent. Friendly and accommodating. Very pleasant when we told them it was our anniversary. Gave a desert on the house. Food: Nothing special with the steak. My steak was extremely fatty. Half was a waste (New York Strip at Medium). The plate they presented it on was as big as the steak which made the experience even worse, when trying to cut it. Don't like how you have to purchase the sides separately but that's a thing high end steak houses can get away with I guess. The salad and dessert were excellent on the other hand. The apple pie cheesecake is a delight! Parking: Limited. Very limited. But they tell you that ahead of time (which is nice). They share a lot with the Holiday Inn also but it can be quite a walk, especially if your a senior or with kids and it's cold outside. Atmosphere: Excellent. Very trendy and vibrant. Love how it looks inside. Overall: Wanted to try it because we had gift cards. But this isn't our regular scene as it works out to be about $100/min per person. I don't think I would pay that much again, so I probably wouldn't return.

Our server Donald was extremely friendly and made us feel right at home while tending to our every need. A lot of times the staff at higher end restaurants have a tendancy to come off as stuck up and slightly pompous but that was not the case whatsoever. An overall fantastic dining experience that I would recommend to anyone. My wife and I attend this location twice a year for each of our birthdays and we have never had a bad experience.

Worst service we have ever had! We called them to make sure we would be able to be served as they were closing within 45 min of my call. They told us it wouldn't be an issue at all. Not only were we treated rudely by the waitresses they also didn't get our meal right. We were being rushed out as soon as we sat down. Disappointed to say the least! Would not recommend.

Overall good experience. Service was really great when we went in dinner time for our anniversary :) Also very accomodating to my little one who we brought with us and was getting bored. hehe. Food was good -- felt a little bit over-seasoned though for the ribeye and petit filet with shrimp. And they were inconsistent with the cooking of the steaks. Ribeye was cooked perfectly, while one of my filet was welldone instead of the medium I asked for (but it was good), and the other filet was a medium but heavily salted. Crab cakes, brussel sprout side and desserts were awesome though. Prices are a bit steep, esp when there's inconsistencies in their cooking and over-seasoning.

We made reservations for our anniversary and they went above and beyond from the congratulations, dressing the table for the occasion, to informing us about the menu items as it was our first time. This was an unexpected stop but how lucky we were to happen upon Ruth's Chris Steakhouse! You are greeted with very friendly staff and seated quickly. Our two lead waiters were outstanding, with very friendly, attentive and efficient service. Food was superb! My lobster bisque alone was the best I have had since a trip to San Francisco on the pier years ago. The steaks, seafood and shared veggies were delicious. Absolutely one of the best steakhouses you will find in Ontario! Although the prices are higher than average restaurants or steakhouses, dinner here is worth every single penny!

Hands down the best service Ive ever received!!! Best Ruth's Chris I've been too. I am utterly in love with this location. Words can't describe my experience. They have truely perfected their service and food science. They have set a new bar for service. Every single person working here was very pleasant and welcoming, even the staff who were just passing us. They all were so helpful and fun and it did not feel forced. It was a great atmosphere, very clean look and the perfect lighting. Our server knew exactly when to come to the table and when to wait, every staff member who came to the table was excellent in small chat without prying and all ensured to mention and make our occasion special (they even added special table glitter!!) I was floored! We had the shrimp voodoo and it was phenomenal, then the tomahawk ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. They even asked if we wanted pictures of it before they cut it before us, they served on plates with melted butter and its mouth watering. I do prefer the ribeye as it is a bit easier to eat as it isn't so thick but it was definitely worth trying. The sides were good sized portions and all with high quality ingredients. It was specialized service and will always be coming back whether for a steak dinner or special occasion. Much better than the Toronto location.

Went here here with my partner and for some strange reason the guy and lady who were seating us sprinkled some heart shaped confetti on our table (don't know why....we weren’t celebrating anything) and then my steak was way too overcooked for a medium steak. Told the waiter and as nice of a man he was, I got a medium rare steak. I felt that I was asking for too much at that point, so i ended up just having it to go. I’ve had some awful steak and some amazing steaks at Toronto’s steakhouses. I would rate this as maybe equivalent to Moxie’s and maybe Earl’s but that’s a stretch. I also looked through the reviews and I noticed they only respond to the positive reviews. I hope they take this as constructive criticism and use it improve the experiences their customers have.

The restaurant is upscale. A casual attire feels adequate but you won't feel out of place in a business suit. The food is very good and better than average. The steak is just right. The lobster is done to perfection. The Voodoo shrimp is memorable. It's the kind of restaurant that business people will like to go to. For 2 people, expect a bill of over $300. Parking was not a problem but I can see it being a issue on a busy day.

Amazing tasting NY Strip steak, but was very pricey! Not sure if these places are the same in the states it not. I paid $83 CAD ($64 USD) plus tip for a 16oz steak and some water, with complementary bread. Would not come again until I make a lot more than I do now, but that steak was one of the most flavorful I've ever had. They bring it out sizzling. It was cooked to perfection!

Great place to have steak. Ordered fillet mignon and ribeye medium but got more like rare which is disappointing cause you think this place would have done this perfectly. I like my ribeye, it's the perfect mixed of fat and meat. The mignon was ok. The wait staff was very nice. Food packaging is good for throwing in the oven for reheat.

This places serves the best steak you can ever have. AAA grade that is evenly cooked to level you want. The quality is high to a point were someone used to eating a medium well would easily enjoy a medium or medium+ cook. From the reviews, and the price of the steaks, I left here feeling very disappointed. I dined here yesterday to celebrate my job offer, and the bill came out to be more than $200 for a party of two. For this price, I expect better cuts of steak. First of all, we ordered two 16 oz ribeyes (which are known to be a tender cut), but my partner's steak was so tough and hard. It took almost 5 minutes to chew each piece. I have a feeling that they gave us the bad quality cuts because we were the only Asian diners and young (early 20's). The Keg honestly has better steaks than this place. The second steak was half fat and half meat. Which isn't a good bang for your buck if you ask me. It was prepared better than my partner's as it wasn't AS chewy. However, it was not satisfying at all. Lastly, our waiter was very awkward and our interactions were slightly uncomfortable. When he offered vegetables, he made it seem like it was part of the meal. So I ordered the corn, which ended up being $17. This is quite expensive for the portion they give you.... and it was not at all appetizing. I could hardly taste the butter. Pros: the meats came out hot and the bathrooms were clean. All in all, I would NOT recommend coming to this place to any of my friends. Places like Copacabana are definitely more tasty.

10 Stars!!! 40th Anniversary, just the two of us - they made us feel like celebrities!!! Food was BEYOND perfect, and you will never receive better service ANYWHERE~ special heart sprinkles "sprinkled" on our table after we were seated let the rest of the staff know we were celebrating our anniversary, everyone was wishing us a happy day! A lovely, personalized dessert with anniversary greetings drizzled on the plate was so nice! Very expensive restaurant, and worth every penny!!!

I loved Ruth's Chris growing up, and the last few years at the Square One location was a bit disappointing. I felt it did not have the same flavour and experience that it used to. However, after the move to the airport location, it is back to what it was. Amazing steaks, great service, and in general, a restaurant that puts a smile on my face. Even the takeout experiences through COVID-19 were good (as good as takeouts can be!) and I cannot wait to dine-in once things get back to normal.

Atmosphere is nice.. Price too high for the quality and amount of food and wine received. Wine over priced per glass. They should bring the bottle of wine to show you what you are being served . Asked for Pinot Noir. They brought a salad dressing bottle to pour with the wine I ordered then nto my wine glass. The wine tasted very dry then more like a wine vinegar to the palate. It was too warm or could have been spoiled Not pleased. Bread at table some pieces too hard and stale mixed wth a few that were more fresh. Roasted veggies presentation looked messy on the dish . It had small pieces of I think we're turnips ,parsnips and rutabaga which were dreadful sour in taste. Brussell sprouts were better but both way over priced, A nice dish of roasted baby potatoes and carrots,fennel cauliflower ,beets celery and a squash would have been a better choices. Presentaton not impressed. Brought out sizzling plate of grease and a piece of meat on top and three shrimp on top. Asked for medium rare.Had to wait 15 minutes to cool down before taking a bite. Which cooked my meat to a medium. Ahhuuugh disappointed. Outside of fillet minon was tough. Shrimp was good but would have liked a least 6 pieces instead of 3. Salad was crandberry pecan arugula. It was very good until I noticed bitting into crunchy small pieces of sugar carmelized candy pieces. It spoiled the enjoyment of the salad. Too much sweeteness. Overall the prime rib was the best but again wayyy overpriced. Unfortunately we will not be returning. Note to all chefs and restaurant owners..Never ever down size quality by any means.

The steaks and our Calamari dish were marvelous! The steaks were cooked at the right level of how we wanted. We were exceptionally well taken care by our server Marco, who made our dining experience relaxing, fun, and most of all enjoyable! We have never felt this satisfying for a very long time. I love the fact this place offers Halal options, and this made it possible for my friend to attend with me on this steak date. Will definitely come back in the future.

Extremely disappointing Way over priced for the quality steak was cooked properly but had know flavor same as mash potatoes Had the bbq shrimp to start 1st of all it was bbqed it was sauteed and it was ok tasting but not for $25 for 5 tiny shrimp, Kids got the sliders most dry non flavorful sliders ever and for $20 I have better junior hamburgers at McDonald's. Service was good and place looks very high end but definitely does not have the food quality for those prices I've had better tasting steaks and just food in general at Montana's ,milestones jackastors. And for 1/3 of the cost. Not even the dessert was good it was ok but not wow again especially not for those prices. 100% will never go back not even if someone else is paying.

Took my girlfriend here for her birthday. We had heard the commercials and she loves steaks. We had the crabs stuffed mushroom caps (she loved them) and the Veal Ravioli (which had a nice sauce but the ravioli were just so so). The steaks came out sizzling as advertised ($67 for the steak), but I found that they were under seasoned and that mine had a lot of gristle. For the price I'd expect a better quality steak. We split the baked potato (they split it for us which was nice), and they gave us a really really rich piece of chocolate cake as a birthday treat (tasty but so rich). Can't give more than 3 stars as the entire reason we went was for the steaks, and they left me disappointed.

We went here for a small corporate dinner. Our server seemed to be new as he served one side drinks and never came to our side till 15 minutes later. No big deal as all was forgotten when the appetizers came out. The calamari in sweet chili sauce were delicious as were the Spicy Shrimp. The petite filet was ordered medium rare but was medium. They offered to replace it but I'm okay with medium. I'm not a big fan of Brussel sprouts but they have a Roasted Brussels Sprouts in Bacon and Honey Butter. It was better than I thought but still not a fan. Also had the mashed potatoes and Cremini Mushrooms Pan-Roasted with Fresh Thyme which I enjoyed very much. Only going with 4 stars because it wasn't busy and service should have been more on the ball. I would come back here again. I hope you enjoy it bon appetite.

This was my first visit to Ruth Chris at the Airport. I recently visited the downtown location. We arrived at the restaurant and were not happy with our initial seat. Jesse the manager was very accommodating and found us a new seat. We went to that location to take advantage of a steak and lobster special. It was not on the menu but they accommodated us nevertheless. The food was good. The Caesar salad feels generic. I had the Ribeye. Both steaks were done to our preference. Dessert was very good. We would return. Jesse the manager made all the difference.

From their customer service to their food, everything was remarkable. The server was very friendly and helpful and their steaks are perfectly served on a sizzling dish. I tried their Filet which was very tender and cooked to perfection and perfectly spiced bringing out the taste of the quality beef. Be sure to also try their crab cakes which will leave you wanting more along with their steak fries. You just can not go wrong with place!

Just had dinner here tonight and it was fantastic. The entire experience from being greeted when we walked in until we left was just what you would expect from a restaurant of this level. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared, and the staff were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Big shout to their having a dedicated and extensive gluten free menu as well, that was a lovely surprise. My partners steak was amazing, and the chef nailed it with simple seasoning that let the steak flavour really be the focus, and my own seafood was delicious. And if you're a creme brulee lover, save room!

My wife and I went yesterday night for her birthday and we love how everything is consistently on point. That also extends to COVID protocol and what the staff and management have to deal with during this pandemic. We were seated on the patio. There was a party seated adjacent to our table who were belligerent when it was explained they have to wear masks when in the restaurant. Others at the same table weren't wearing the masks properly so their nose isn't covered. Then the good one is when their party of 6 turned in to party of 11. I was blown away with the audacity to even request that during COVID! The manager comes out and discusses the situation and implications of having a party over 10 due to COVID. Ruth's Chris employees from the server to the manager that arbitrated in the matter stated there could be no table over 10 and that they could push a couple tables together to accommodate 10 but any other additional attendees for the party would have to sit somewhere else. I am so grateful for the efforts of Ruth's Chris staff to try to protect public health during COVID while on their premises.

Perfect experience! I brought my mom here for Summerlicious and we both had a wonderful time. The restaurant is big and clean, lots of seating and well lit. Really nice restrooms as well! The salads were fresh and the serving size was huge. We both had the 6oz Filets and they were cooked perfectly. The three shrimp on top were a nice touch. The mashed potatoes and mushrooms were tasty as well, and again the portion size is very generous! For dessert, we had the fresh fruit and cream and the strawberry short cake, both amazing! Francine was our server and she did a spectacular job. She constantly checked on us and refilled our waters and made sure we were happy. Thank you for a great start to the Summerlicious season!

I would absolutely recommend Ruth's Chris Steak House time and time again. I was there as a DJ for a birthday party, but next time I'll be enjoying the excellent service, super tasty food and ambiance as someone who will be returning over and over again! Sounds like I really like this place, doesn't it? I love it!

One major issue I have is they do not display the halal certificate in the front. They have it hidden in the back and will only show it per request. This is quite unfortunate as it should be clearly displayed at the front and I should not have to make a request to see it for confirmation. Why is it like this? Why is this hidden? Please explain. Ordered Halal steak. It was good. Atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. Servers were great.

This is a late post, however writing it because I had bad experience at another steakhouse and remembered how great of an experience I had over at this place 5 years ago. I had forgotten to make reservation for valentines day. However I still showed up to the place with my gf and had requested for table. Staff thought it was funny of me to just show up on one of the busiest days and ask for table for 2. the Staff was nice enough to accommodate us even tho they were busy. Food was great!, Staff was great! and price was fair.

The decoration is ok but nothing spectacular, it's really bland. It was a really busy day when we were there a Wednesday, not sure if it's always that busy but I expect it is do to the location. The bill was $310 with hst for 2 people plus gratuity. The steaks were good but at $75/each not including sides, I expect perfection not only in the food but also in the decoration.

This past Sunday evening my wife and I where treated by our kids to a wonderful evening meal at Ruth's, stay in a hotel, and then a trip to the Aquarium. This was a birthday gift for me and they had purchased $200 worth of gift certificates for us to pay for the evening as they knew it is a very classey restaurant. They sure were correct! The service was excellent, Andrew was the best, the food was exceptional, especially the salads as were the steaks. Everything could not have gone better until we went to pay and gave them the gift certificates. The bill was $260. Well unawares to us, or our kids, (I need to note the main web site promotes gift cards and in one of the question and answers says buy as many as you want and use as many as you need for your visit) they would only accept two of the cards as they only accept one card per customer per visit, therefore since each card was $50, we could not use the other two but must, as they told us, come again and visit!!! Understand, we are seniors on a fixed budget who live 2 1/2 hours north of the city for one thing, and the second thing, one card will not buy you a complete meal so we would have to be out of pocket once again. We did not raise this issue at the restaurant as there were many other customers there and we do not like causing a problem. I must say that if you look closely at the cards, in small print that has been added, it says only one card per person per visit for Mississauga and Toronto! Who would have thought! They have our money and then they can limit us to how we can use it. We are not happy and will be posting our frustration on a few social media sites so others do not get caught as we have. Sorry about such a long post but wanted everyone to understand the food was excellent, just watch if you want to use GIFT CERTIFICATES!

This is my go to spot for a good steak. It can be a little bit pricey however well worth the money. The only reason why I didn't give them five stars is because I ordered a creme brulee for dessert and at the bottom of it was a thick layer of buildup...which really turned me off.

Went to this restaurant last night for my boyfriends birthday dinner, and I must say, one of the best dinning experiences I have ever had. The manager/staff were so friendly and knew a lot about their steaks and meat. Although the menu is pricey, it is definitely worth it! Keep in mind that the sides are extra. We ordered the mushrooms, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts and onion rings, everything was fantastic! Best mushrooms I have ever had. I ordered the lobster tail and petite fillet medium rare. Lobster was cooked perfectly, and the meat just melted in my mouth! I ordered the cheese cake and chocolate lovers coffee for dessert, be warned, the desserts are big!! Overall amazing experience, I would highly recommend this place to others!

Our lady server was very pleasant and nice versus the male server who comes back and forth for doing some check backs etc. I know they are doing their job but can they try not to hover at our table as much. This was our first visit to Airpot location and we were very pleased with the modern appearance and very good atmosphere. It is not as classic as Downtown Toronto location, however there is no any issue with that! Regarding food, as expected, they are top notch here! We ordered calamari to start for 4 of us and it was very generous portion, with very good taste, and a hint of spicy pepper in it. Both Caesar salad and Harvest salad are tasty and good size. And then, there is steak! And the signature sizzle! We ordered one Porterhouse and one Ribeye for all of us to share. Porterhouse is very well prepared, and it was cut in very good size pieces. Both New York Strip and Filet sides were very good! And Ribeye was very tasty, I even think that it tasted the best of all. If you are looking at ribeye, do yourself a favour and upgrade to Cowboy ribeye, price difference is not huge, and it would be even better, we felt sorry that we didn’t do that. Don’t forget to add sautéed mushrooms, they are very firm and extremely tasty. Since we were here for birthday, and really because of the birthday boy’s wish to visit Ruth’s Chris, we had also a piece of chocolate cake to enjoy. Try it, it is not very sweet, and the closest thing to chocolate heaven that you could find! We can’t wait to come back when restaurants re-open again, we caught the opportunity to visit just before closing of the dinning rooms.

They say good things must always come to an end. It’s a very sad day when I’m no longer able to express my feelings of love for Ruth’s Chris. My recent visit will be my last. It’s not me Ruth, it’s you. A word of advice, if you’re considering Ruth’s Chris, the only option should be the downtown location. We’ve been burned may times with the other GTA locations and tonight was another example of that. This location itself lacks the ambiance and atmosphere you get with the traditional Steak house feel you get from the downtown location. It’s very nice and modern but it’s far from a Ruth’s Chris. Our waiter was very nice but again lacked the years of experience that would accompany staff from their Toronto location. Although this may seem trivial, the “free bread” at the beginning of the meal was disappointing. I know I sound like a broken record but doesn’t compare to the “other” location I’ll keep referencing. We started off with a calamari appetizer that was so sweet, it reminded me of a Chinese take out dish. It’s a definite pass. Now, I know I’m not exaggerating when I say this. When you go to a steak restaurant that charges close to $100 per steak, you expect it to be absolutely perfect. Unfortunately tonight BOTH of our steaks were extremely under done. The lack of follow through on the restaurant side was also extremely poor. Choosing to re-heat our steaks vs making new ones was a poor decision. When the “new” steaks came back, they lacked that “$100 steak feel”’. Felt as though I was eating leftovers the very next day. We did speak to a manager that seemed way too inexperienced to be working at a fine establishment like RC. We were offered another appetizer (pass) and some sparkling wine. We’re both non drinkers but whatever, thanks for the “nice gesture”. Getting the bill was a huge kick in the nuts. All items ordered were there as if we had the ideal experience. The night started out wonderfully! We (my boyfriend and I) walked in to a warm, inviting atmosphere and were treated with friendly smiles and polite staff. We were brought to our table and constantly checked on for the first hour. We each got a drink (blue mojito and a Manhattan), which were both amazing, and then our food (New York strip, surf and turf, creamy spinach, scallop potatoes), which was mouth watering! However, I'm not sure what happened after that. We finished our food, and waited, and waited, and waited, for our server to come back to see if we wanted tea, coffee, desert, another drink, the cheque, anything! We waited nearly an hour, even after making it clear we were finished our meals (turning the fork an knife correctly on the plate to indicate we were done, stacking dishes, ect.) For our server to come over and finally ask if we were waiting for anything. It was actually one of the bus boys who came and cleared our table and asked if we needed the extra food packed up. He walked past us a few times to make sure we were done before asking to. After he had cleared our table was when our server came back, 15 minutes after the table was cleared, to see if we needed anything else. Although this wasn't the greatest, I understand that people can have bad days, and I don't hold it against the restaurant. I would love to go back and try again as this was the first time I'd gone, and the first time my boyfriend had a "bad" experience. Hopefully next time I can change it to 5 starts. ????????????????

Went to celebrate my anniversary at the restaurant. From the point of making the reservation till the moment I left the location was an exquisite experience. When we reached there, a table was reserved and the hostess wished us anniversary greetings. Then the servers came and guided us to choose from the menu all the Halal options that were available. Yes, now they serve Halal items without making an advance request. Their New York Strip, Lamb Chops & Stuffed Chicken Breast are Halal and pretty much all the sides are Halal too. However, one has to specifically ask for the Halal only items so they'll not even use any wine/ alcohol in the food preparation. We'd ordered New York Strip steaks, Shrimp Orleans which came with Garlic Mashed Potatoes as side and a separate order of Cremini Mushrooms. For the drinks, we'd ordered Raspberry Lemonade & fresh Orange juice. After we were done, they served us a complimentary chocolate cake with anniversary greetings. The food tasted great, the service was prompt & the ambiance was nice. Mr. Manny (our server) was awesome, thanks again for your amazing service. It's a great place to have fine dining and some amazing steaks. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again. P.S. the photos are unedited and without any flash being used as there was ambiance lighting in the restaurant (wasn't bright).

After weeks of socially isolating with our children, my wife and I were looking to treat ourselves. I must admit that we were a little skeptical about ordering takeout from a steak joint but with the deal offered - two filet mignons, two caesars and two sides (mashed potatoes, mushrooms) for $65 - how could one go wrong. The food was absolutely superb. The steak is deliberately cooked a little underdone and they provide typed reheating instructions which were spot on. We could hear the famous sizzle outside our oven door. Anyways, we plan on treating ourselves again in a few weeks. Highly recommended!!

Our experience was not as great as in the past. There were so many staff members checking on us and ready to take our orders, we wondered it they were on commission. My husband ordered the lamb dish and unfortunately had to send it back as medium rare was served as blue rare. They did give us a complimentary side (mashed potatoes) which we did try. I had the prefix menu filet with shrimp. It was good. For the $$$$ we prefer our local gem Aria Bistro and Lounge, Brampton. Much better food for same price point. And staff are amazing.

I made a reservation with Arbi, the assistant general manager, and the experience start to finish from him was top notch. He helped make our night perfect. We were seated at the best table in the restaurant and always felt like VIP’s. The service provided by Vince was impeccable. Couldn’t have asked for more! A literal perfect service. Also the manager on duty Dino was very pleasant and checked in often to make sure we were having a great experience. He had a very welcoming presence. Then the food…DELICIOUS! Everything was perfect from the voodoo shrimp app, to the delish sides, and of course the sizzling steaks. Then to our surprise we received desert on the house with a special Birthday message. Took my wife here to celebrate a special occasion. Very friendly staff from the moment we got in to the moment we were seated to our table. Our server, Donald, was friendly and professional and extremely knowledgeable of the items on the menu. I ordered the chopped salad with a draft beer and my wife had a classic martini with an order of lobster bisque. The chopped salad was awesome and the perfect beginning to our next course - the cowboy ribeye with scalloped potatoes with a glass of California sauvignon cabernet. My wife had the barbecue shrimp and a white wine. All of it was amazing. The steak was done perfectly medium rare with just that kiss of rare in the very middle and the potatoes were the perfect accompaniment. My wife was in awe at how rich her meal was. We ended the meal with a slice of key lime pie and flourless chocolate cake. Our evening was complete - and expensive. However, it was worth every penny. This is a place to go for an elevated dining experience and this location delivers. Hoping for more special occasions to come simply to come here again.

My husband and I have dined at Ruth's Chris Niagara location for many years. The reasons why we've become loyal patrons is because of the exceptional customer service , the intimacy of the elegant decor and of course, the amazing food. The pandemic certainly didn't stop us from ordering a take out porterhouse dinner , in particular, when the region was in the GREY ZONE. Dorie , the manager, took the order over the phone. She was so friendly and so willing to accommodate our needs. We had predicted that we wouldn't be able to resist the smell of the delicious meal while driving home and so we decided that the Tim Hortons parking lot close by would be our grazing spot , ahhhhhh...... memories of the pandemic , lol ! Dorie made sure that we had paper plates, cutlery, napkins and all the fix ins for our less than elegant "in car pandemic feast". Needless to say , the feast was epic and well worth every penny. A few weeks later , when the region went into RED ZONE , hubby and I went back to Ruth's Chris to enjoy the experience of another porterhouse . This time the grazing would be done in the restaurant , lol ! We were so pleased to see Dorie again , she remembered us and inquired about our previous in car dining experience , lol ! Mike , our waiter couldn't have been nicer to us . There's nothing better than a waiter who has a great sense of humor and also caters to your needs without missing a beat. Dorie's appreciation for our support during the pandemic was evident by her warm reception upon our arrival and came by our booth just to make sure that we were being well taken care of. Ruth's Chris Niagara Falls Canada rates high on our list of great restaurants , they set the standard for excellence in the fine dining industry and Dorie and her team are no exception. My husband and I went to the Ruth's Chris in Mississauga to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, and the service there was excellent. Our server, Andrew, was very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dinner. The steak was melt in the mouth, and their shrimp voodoo was the best shrimp I've ever had. It was crisp on the outside and succulent on the inside and the pickled cucumber salad on the side was delicious. They gave us a complimentary creme brulee for dessert which was sinfully good. We had a very memorable experience, and I highly recommend it.

If you have the money to spend, (and let me tell you, its expensive), its so worth it. The quality of food here is really very amazing, and the service is above and beyond. All the servers are very knowledgeable about the menu and are ready to suggest good wine pairings. Unlike your usual steak house, do note that mains do not come with anything - if you want starch or veggies, be prepared to spend $10 for each. The portions are generous though, and meant to be shared. The quality of beef here is in the top 2 percentile of the world - hence the price tag. But they know how to cook their meat, and the presentation is amazing. Overall a really wonderful experience.

Ordered Take out! Got there, Jacob was a gem!! Super pleasant and friendly while I picked up my order. (Keep him around) When I got home the packaging had instructions on how best to re-heat (loved that). Everything tasted great. Steaks cooked to perfection, not over done like other places. The mashed potatoes and creamed spinach...tasted just as good as when we would dine it. I have never been let down by quality and service at Ruth's Chris, even in the takeout service. I recently visited the location by the airport. I've been to Ruth's Chris several times, especially the location in Niagara (which is always excellent in my experience). My visit to the location by the airport was disappointing. The cowboy ribeye didn't taste the same compared to the previous times I've ordered it. The service was ok, but not great. My company and I felt like we couldn't really enjoy our meals without our server checking in with us a little too often. It felt like it was one of those, "how are things", moments whenever you're in the middle of taking a bite or having important conversation. It was also a little socially uncomfortable when it felt like our server tried upselling us to one of the most expensive wines on the menu once we already made our selection. I would say the experience was ok but disappointing. There is definitely room for improvement, especially based on the amount customers pay to dine at Ruth's Chris.

Very disappointing in most ways. The steak a medallion 2" round size was delicious and cooked to my request. That was the only high point of our visit. When i saw the prices I would have left but someone gave us a $50.00 gift card that covered 2 nine ounce glasses of mediocre wine $22.00 per glass, actually not even if you include the tax. Price of the steaks 2" round start at $46.00 to $90.00. The mashed potatoes were bland but the coffee at $6.00 a cup was awful, none of us finished it. This restaurant is in the airport location and is suited to transients with business expense cards , no local would ever return with the prices they charge. The server was good but up selling is how they are trained. I hate posting bad reviews but I consider this an honest review. Check their menu their web page and decide of you want to pay the their prices. The place on a Friday night was mostly empty which speaks volumes.

The atmosphere here is solid and the wine list and apps great but the menu is actually quite small and the pricing is at the top end for what you get in my opinion. Had dinner recently at this steakhouse. I had the lobster soup and didn't really enjoy it. It was lukewarm and was just way too thick for me. I also had a salad which was good but nothing fancy. My husband had shrimp and a side order of fries. He said they were good but nothing exceptional. I cant fault this restaurant as it is a steakhouse and we didn't order steak. I just felt like for what we had we could have gone anywhere and spent a whole lot less money.

Came here for a guys night out. Just a nice meal with a few professionals. The service was fantastic. We had Bill serve us and he was completely on-point with the timing of our drinks, meals, etc. The food was made exactly as we were hoping for, and the drinks were great. Eaten there many times, but mostly in the USA. I've eaten only once before at this location. The steaks were awful and the place was pretty much deserted. The appetizers were excellent and service was just ok. We were 5 and the bill was $800 with tip and no beverages. I have no issue spending for quality product, but this was far from that. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant for any amount of money. 4 steaks between 5 of us and not even one of them was close to what I'm used to. The Keg would have been a much better choice and would have been several hundred less.

The service was amazing the sever was attentive and saw to our needs. The level of service has dropped considerably compared to the previous location. At the old location they went above and beyond and had everything thought out. Now, they are very much order takers. Service is comparable with that of a Boston Pizza or Jack Astors. I sent an email the next morning after my meal, and did not receive a reply so I called them Monday afternoon. Spoke to assistant manager who then said I would receive a call that night from the manager. Never did so I sent another email Wednesday afternoon. Finally got a call Wednesday night from an apologetic manager. He was professional, but this lack of follow up from the top is indicative of how all the staff seem to serve. After having my meal and the poor experience I had, I read through other reviews posted here, and saw some explaining similar situation I had faced. Wish I had read those reviews before hand so I could have saved my time and money and not gone to this restaurant.

Wonderful evening, excellent service, amazing food. The steak I had (New York strip) was cooked exactly as I like medium rare and had wonderful flavour and texture. The sides (creamed spinach and scallop potatoes) were ok but nothing special. I also tried the Caesar salad was a little ordinary. However the Ahi Tuna and the Shrimp Voodoo appetizers were amazing.

The food here is phenomenal, i went recently for a business dinner and left very happy. I ordered the surf n turf with a side of the sweet potato fries which was cooked to perfection and no detail was spared in the presentation. The prices are a little steep but the portions are very generous and many sides/items can be shared between two people. The dining room is beautiful and the staff is kind, friendly and very responsive from the hostess to the waiters, I cannot say a single negative thing.

Wow! I was treated to Ruth's Chris for my birthday and I've never had a better meal in my life! Everything was delicious. Scott gave us better service than I've ever had anywhere. Hats off to the super-talented chef! The place is so elegant and well-run! I can't wait to go there again. 10/10!

Great patio dining experience as we opened up for stage 1 in Ontario. Staff super friendly and helpful with ordering. Steaks cooked perfectly. Tables all spread out and easy parking. Would revisit soon.

Wonderful dining experience! We've eaten at the downtown and Mississauga locations before and this was our first time at the airport location. Loved the modern, fresh decor and the way it was divided up into so many interesting rooms. There is also a huge bar if you want to just sit and have drinks. Our server Lydia was great, very attentive and easy going. Our meals were perfect starting with the large caesar salads, then the tender filet steaks and loaded baked potato. Yes the prices can be high, but if you choose the Ruths Classics fixed price specials which come with a starter, main, side and dessert for basically the price of a single steak, you can't go wrong. Our 2 dinners plus a bottle of wine came to only $200 plus tax and tip. Not bad for a high end dining experience!

Terrible Service. Over cooked my steak, and by the time a new one arrived the rest of the table was done eating. For a $67 steak it should be perfect, and if it’s not they should comp it. Nobody came out to check on how things were either, I had to go into the bar to get someone to come out and look deal with the issue. They offered me a free dessert to make up for it, but I wasn’t going to hold up the rest of my table more to have a dessert on my own.
