Went here for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy but we managed to get seated right away. Our waitress (Michelle) was friendly and attentive, bringing us our drinks and taking our order promptly. We had the full rack of ribs and the chicken souvlaki - both healthy portions and delicious! The bar has a great selection of beers and wines. They even do live music on Fridays which was a nice touch. Would recommend this spot to couples, families, and large parties alike looking for a traditional pub atmosphere.

We were attracted to the shady patio on a hot day and the promise of some classic menu items along with a couple of intriguing offerings. While not a bad experience, we were left holding a mixed bag. On the plus side, the service was excellent - friendly and helpful, attentive and professional. On the slight down side, the food was merely average. I had the Cajun Crab and Fish Patty and while the seasoning was good, the consistency of the patty was odd - crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside, to the point where it squeezed out the sides when bitten into. Crab and shrimp flavour had to fight through a massive kaiser bun and, I think, lost the fight. My wife's Sticky Pork Back Ribs were tender and tasty enough but the BBQ sauce was unremarkable. I guess we were both looking to be wowed and were merely just... satisfied. But I will emphasize the great patio and warm service. It seems like an ideal environment to meet with friends for some drinks and grub and a lively chat. It had a great community feel about it -- a place where locals might very well know your name and tourists were made to feel welcome.

We had the chicken pot pie and crab and fish burger entrees. The pot pie was generously portioned, perfectly seasoned, and contained lots of pieces of real chicken. The fish and crab burger was bursting with flavours that complemented each other perfectly. It is described as being dressed with tartar sauce and coleslaw. The description does not do it justice - the tartar sauce tasted homemade and the coleslaw was delicious enough to be its own side. We had the side salads with our mains, which consisted of fresh greens, goat cheese, spiced pecans, and veggies.

Would have been 4 stars but hubby was not happy with the ribs, they were a little tough. I had chicken farfalle which was yummy and a huge serving and a delicious salad of organic greens, candied walnuts, beets, +++; Fries and onion rings were crispy excellence. Our server was very friendly and accommodating.

I went here out of necessity. Was close by and couldn’t drive anywhere. In the future I’ll just waited it out. There is nothing special about over priced, low quality out food. Maybe if I dined in, I could be distracted by the many TVs but unfortunately I did take out and didn’t look at my food before leaving. I would not have paid $18 for this.

Stopped in on our way through town looking for something for dinner that was a little better than fast food. Was pleasantly surprised by not only the quality of the food but the speed in which it was delivered, the quantity and the service. We were seated immediately, and or waitress, Brooklyn, was absolutely phenomenal. Extremely pleasant and amiable. Our order of pulld pork potato skins for an appetizer came within 10-15 minutes of ordering and was absolutely delicious. For dinner I ordered a Angus burger and my fiance ordered the chicken farfalle. Both dishes were quickly delivered and extremely flavorful and perfectly cooked with very large portions. Will definitely be returning in the future!

Good food and atmosphere overall but it took a long time to be served dinners for 4 people...maybe it's not habitual...I dont know having it be my first time. I had been told it was a good spot to eat in Orangeville so we decided to try it and it was good food but the waiting was not great...restaurants should provide at least bread to pass the time and even more so if they're taking a long time in preparing food.

Was not overly impressed with the food for the price you pay. Ate here to celebrate and ordered a few appetizers which were ok but quite small. The steak I ordered was good but have had much better at chain restaurants (which is disappointing in my opinion) my girlfriend's pasta I found to be quite bland. Service was good and staff were quite welcoming though.

Even though I have lived in the Orangeville area for 25+ years, this was the first time we have visited this restaurant; I had been to the old one about 15 years ago. Although smaller than the old restaurant, it is still a fair size, it is two floors, and they have a massive, multilevel patio. The restaurant and patio are beautifully decorated, the large trees surrounding the patio, and hanging lights, really added to the ambiance. Considering we went at prime time on Canada Day, they were quite busy, but we were seated right away on the patio and the service was relatively quick. The restaurant and washrooms were very clean, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant, we will definitely be back.

First time there with my family for lunch. Great service and very delicious food. The owner came over to make sure everything was good. My son had the grilled cheese which was huge, I had the steak sandwich with the organic green salad with candied walnuts which was amazing and my husband had the wings which were quite large. Will definitely visit again.

Indoor and outdoor seating at a pub located on a narrow sidestreet a block off Orangeville's attractive downtown, the menu is the pub fare you'd expect with some interesting zingers. Great fries and sandwiches. A special soup of the day is a sweat-inducing spicy bean. Big craft beer list provides ample opportunities for perfect pairings.

You can never go wrong coming to Mill Creek pub! The hubby and I took our little one to the patio for the first time and the servers were so welcoming. We got the little one some chicken tenders and he enjoyed them, meanwhile the hubby and I had a drink; I had the red sangria and it was delicious on such a nice sunny day. Great atmosphere with low music in the background and great outdoor seating with umbrellas to not get the full sun (specially for the baby it was perfect!)

Great little pub! Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We went for lunch and were really pleased with our experience. The crab artichoke dip was delicious, my wife had the Greek salad which was a nice portion and full of good stuff. I had jambalaya, quite tasty, tons of sausage and chicken in it, my only knock would be to cook the spice out a little more in the frying pan before adding rice. We will certainly go back and very easily recommend this great neighbourhood pub and resto to friends and family. Friendly and warm service.

I would have given 5 stars except our server wasn't busy and didn't seem interested in helping us. Took a long time to take our driver m order. Never offered refills on any beverages even with empty glasses on the table. We had to call her over to pay our bill. May have been an off day.

Great place! My boyfriend and I live a ways away from here and wanted to go on this trail here. Anyway, afterwards we wanted to grab some pub food and beer and decided to go here since parking was easy but it was a great decision! The spinach and goat cheese dip was absolutely delicious and their fries are amazing - can't wait to come back and try their pulled pork poutine. Anyway our server Carryn was AWESOME and really nice. She laughed at my joke which made me feel good - she also reminds me of the server from Schitt's Creek who is really pretty and nice. Anyway, great bar!

Cozy bar restaurant with a nice patio. Food and service were good. We had an issue with too many flies around our indoor table and we didn’t have food yet. The pulled pork sandwich was tasty, fries were really good. The French onion soup was good but the broth was a bit salty. The caramel pudding and cheesecake were the highlight of the meal. The have a good selection of beers including several local crafts.

We stopped in here on a road trip that took us through Orangeville. Fast service and tasty food in a more modern atmosphere. Patio looks nice but was closed for the season. Lots of beers on tap but menu was limited but very tasty (maybe limited due to Covid?).

I could give this location a 10 star of how phenomenal their service was!! They were very accommodating at the front as we didn’t have any reservations on a Saturday night. Got a beautiful patio table, food selection was great. Absolutely loved the food, The spinach dip & chips on the menu is a must try & Ofcourse not to forget drinks too???? Everything with was on point along with the excellent service. A good place to start the weekend, make sure you go in with an empty tummy as the portions are a challenge Can’t wait to dine in there again. Thanks to all the staff for their amazing hospitality.

Went here for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary party and it was fantastic! We had prime rib which was amazing! Highly recommend for a large group. We had close to 50 people and the service was great. Very organized with bringing out each course, and never waited more than a couple minutes for a drink. I picked Mill Creek Pub on a leap of faith - four of us were departing the Orangeville Gun Show and were absolutely ravenous. Didn't want to wait until Toronto. It doesn't look like much from the outside, one would easily walk past it and not notice the size of the place. Inside, there's two floors of spacious seating areas, with a comfortable atmosphere and minimalist industrial-rustic looks. Nice view out the 2nd floor windows. The real surprise here is the food. I was not expecting any major surprises given the pub setting. Oh boy, did I ever underestimate Mill Creek's kitchen wizards. The split pea and bacon purée soup I had was terrific. Not too watery and not too thick either. Perfect balance of flavor, especially with some soup crackers. Went (very pleasantly!) against the tendency of most pubs to pickle every dish in salt. Left me wanting to order another. Next up for me was the Shepherd's Pie. I had to take mine with fries and pulled pork. The pulled pork blew me away, as it was identical to the pretty expensive stuff we buy from our local Louisiana styled smokehouse in Toronto. Again, not too salty or saucy. The fries were done just right, and not oily at all. The pie was on a level that would make a true Brit simultaneously weep tears of joy and envy. Smooth, savory, well spiced, very lightly salted, with tender meat, veggies that weren't baked to mush, and a perfectly baked mash crust. My friends' burgers were equally delicious, and we all ended up passing some bites around to one another. On an interesting note, one of the very few pubs I've been to where the water tastes fresh, and not like pipe. Our waitress, Heather, was one of the most affable ladies I've met. Always coming by to check on us with a big smile and a sunny disposition. Definitely will be back here in March, after the next show!

This restaurant is amazing, we had a party of 3 and they had no problem fitting us in on the patio. We ordered the spinach goat cheese dip, it was very good. We also ordered the mac and cheese and the bean burger as well as a halibut fish, all three of the dishes were excellent and very very tasty. I highly reccomend this restaurant if you are willing to give up a couple hours because the wait for the food was a bit too long but otherwise everything was amazing, the bathrooms are clean and well sanitized. An excellent excellent place to spend time with family and friends.

When I first got here, it was a slow wait to get seated and the service was subpar. That said, the owner recognized my friend from when he visited years ago. The owner was so welcoming and said hello! Local gem. The chicken fingers was 5/5. The Creek burger had a thick patty but the bun, veggies, spices were a bit boring so it wasn't a unique burger. The fries were thin and average. I personally didn't love this place but it's rightfully a fan favourite in the town!

This has been my third visit to Mill Creek Pub and definitely not my last. The Cajun Maple wings keep me coming back again and again. Probably the best wings I have ever had - 10-11 to a pound, dry and delicious. Worth the drive to Orangeville just to stop here for the wings. Plus, they gave a free dessert for take out orders over $30. I don't know if it was just for today or not but that chocolate brownie was delicious too.

When I asked the server about it she said that's how they always come out. I just feel if your going to serve a medium rare burger one should be asked how they would like their burger cooked so they are not surprised when it comes out pink, or at least be made aware of this when placing the order.

Amazing food and great service. A very nice atmosphere, definitely a different experience then the franchise options. We have been several times and we love it! However, the last time we went we were told it would be 30 minutes and they had us stand at the bar for around an hour. When we went to our table we saw 6-8 empty ones. And I had to leave before dinner was done while my wife waited for her meal. If it is going to take an hour please be honest so we can find somewhere where we can eat our meal together....that being said, we are absolutely going back!!

Staff was pleasant right from the start and great to be with. There was no rush to send on your way, so you had time to let your meal settle. Great historical setting putting new and old together. Well worth the 45 minute trip.
