I hate leaving negative reviews; however, I was very disappointed with my visit to the Yorkdale location last Friday. They were out some items on the menu and basic utensils such as straws. All our food orders came simultaneously, even though we specifically said to bring the appetizers out first. The waitress either misheard, or there was some miss communication between the kitchen and the waitress. On a good note, the food was tasty, just a few items were cold, such as our steaks. Their payment machines do not accommodate card payment that requires a swipe, hence having to use cash. I thoroughly enjoyed Joey's in ByWard Market in Ottawa; however, Yorkdale was a letdown.

It's okay. My baja tacos were great. Espresso martini was great. Service was super slow and they were packed! Maybe they're understaffed like everywhere else? But there's waiters just waiting for dishes to be made and other waiters running around like crazy. Weird system, and I think the kitchen is too small for a place this size leading to long wait times and cold food if you're with a big party and they want to bring it out at once. Tell them to bring it as it's made. It's priced fine for Yorkdale area. Would I come back? Maybe not as my idea but I'll come back for events or whatnot. Atmosphere was good enough.

Was with family and enjoyed a great lunch. The hand pressed burger with fries as really good along with the poke bowl and steak with lobster. Service was great and the kitchen operated like we were in a Gordon Ramsey Kitchen.... people talking and attention to quality. The staff were friendly and always around if you needed something extra or another glass of water.

I’m going to start off by saying I usually have the best experiences at JOEYS, their food is consistently good - especially their tuna salad. We frequent other locations: don mills, sherway, etc and I always have a very positive, overall great experience with the other locations. Today I had a very unfortunate experience with one of the front of house staff at the Yorkdale location. There were two working that day - one was very friendly and the other was very unprofessional and rude to many guests. She was also very aggressive and condescending in her tone towards customers. No matter how good of an experience customers have with the food, the overall service in the restaurant - this type of treatment towards guests of your restaurant leave a very negative dining experience. The front of house staff in any establishment are the faces of the restaurants. These people should be the most welcoming, warm and friendly. I am truly disappointed about his experience and hope that the proper steps are taken to train the staff to be better with customers. Other than that, the food was great as always and our waitress was super friendly. It’s unfortunate the restaurant hostess had to ruin it. Lots of great restaurants around Yorkdale, will not be coming back to this location. Jane

I came to Yorkdale for dinner with my friends. The service and food was perfect. Everyone loved their meal. I ordered the Cobb Salad and it was so good! Definitely will reorder this again. The only things to take note was the lobster ravioli was small, the tacos don't come with a side, and the steak/sushi would be great with a side salad - I would order a side salad or fries for these items.

I’ve been at this location a few times. I was there last week and the service wasn’t great. After a while, We had to ask to order our drinks, because they didn’t ask. Then, we had to ask to order our food, the server took our order which took forever. When the plates came, we didn’t even have cutlery.... the cherry on top is this diluted with water hand soap they have (see photo). I was under the impression this place was better than a gas station.... that’s the place where I expect to find a generic brand diluted with water hand soap.

Visited today for casual launch. We liked our server Christian. However, I wouldn’t recommend this place for the following reasons. 1. Lack of umbrellas Overall service was great and the manager came over to check up on us. I asked for umbrella and he explained about the policy that they cannot move the umbrella. I would understand this if I didn’t see another table was getting an umbrella. I would be happy to look over the policy and why it works for only certain customers. 2. Dried steak I ordered steak with aioli. I asked for medium rare steak. It turned out very dry and chewy and cremated. I was very disappointed with the food. Overall I wasn’t happy with food quality and lack of umbrellas. I understand that these are hard times and a lot if businesses are facing a plethora of trials and tribulations. I acknowledge you’re all doing what you can the best way you can. Hopefully moving forward I can look forward to having a wonderful experience. Thank you.

Went to go visit Joey‘s for the first time today was told by not one but three of the hostesses that the minimum wait time is an hour and a half to two hours, OK not a big deal takeout it is then. $70 is what it cost for two pastas and a chicken Parmesan that was fried till it was basically chicken jerky. The sugo was OKAY not great not bad, lacked an Italians touch but was fine. Spaghetti was soggy, like the pasta chef left it boiling for too long and not enough time in the pan, IF it spent any time in the pan that is. Heat was good. What's with the garlic bread? Are we supposed to cut it ourselves? I think the most frustrating part about this take-out order was the fact that when we ordered, spent our money, we did our time, we went to sit down after finally driving all the way back to find out we were given no cutlery, no napkins and two little ramekins with maybe a piece or two of thinly sliced Parmesan. After spending $70 on two pastas with the same Sugo base ultimately we were left disappointed. You are much better off spending your money at Locale for a fine pasta dish or PZA

Food was delicious here and our server was amazing! She was super attentive and nice! The food came on time and was really good! We got a steak and the osama sushi. Both were delicious and very filling! We also got the calamari! It was okay, as we would have liked to see a bigger portion. Especially because some asparagus and onion were mixed in.

We ended up here on Tuesday when it rained. We stopped by and were told it would be a 30-40 minute wait. We were seated 15 minutes later in a big booth. She noticed our 5 year old With us. The service was fast. Drinks immediately served. I asked for fries for our child and it came out with our drinks. We ordered just appetizers but they were delicious and quick. I would eat here on a date with my kids with my family. I loved the whole experience

I’ve been to this location many times and usually it’s OK but they’ve changed (cheapened) they way things are served. We started with Korean fried cauliflower which was normally one of my favourites but the sauce is different. It was overloaded with this sweet chilli sauce which. Also cold and hard on the inside which was the reason we sent it back and it was the same the 2nd time around. Then had the lettuce wraps which again I’d different. Their used to be crispy noodles and veggies and real pieces of chicken, now it’s deep fried chunks of what resembles chicken with this spicy sweet sauce. No veggies, no crispy noodles and was hard as rock. The had rolls were good but what used to be 5.00 each have become 7.00 rip off…. If that wasn’t bad enough out waitress was MIA the manger was busy cause there were a lot of complaints but I don’t know what happened to joeys, gone completely down hill. Won’t be returning

Great atmosphere, consistent and delicious food. The staff is friendly. I love the hourly roasted chicken sandwich and order it every time I go. The rosemary rockdale sourdough and green apple slices is what makes it. The fries are just a touch crispy, which is how I like them. I'm never disappointed. I always go in the am. One day I popped in 6 pm and was told there was a 90 minute wait. There is no brunch menu.

I find their menu is now lacking. My wife ordered a Caesar and the glass was shorter than short. My beer came with more suds than usual and by the time it settled it was 1/4 of the glass. There is only 1 burger on the menu (unless you want a vegan burger) and the burger was below average! Patty was dry and usually burgers are juicy. Will not waste my time going back again..

The food here is good depending on what you order, the service was not the best compared to other corporate restaurants. I came here for my friends birthday and we ordered truffle fries as one of the apps, it came out cold so I asked for fresh ones. It took them 20min to bring out the same exact fries making them supper crunchy, like fries when they get cold and, then hard, not so edible. So again we asked for new one. Another 20min goes by and we were about to leave so we asked our server if we can cancel the fries as we waited so long. While we were asking, her the manager comes out with our fries and said we can have them on the house. When it came to our bill our server charged us for it anyways, I didn't notice till after the bill was paid for. Not the best experience, especially when someone is having their birthday here.

A real fancy place. Had been there with the team for lunch and we loved it. The service is fast and the food is good. The quantity is just right for a single person. If you are vegetarian,do ask for a vegetarian menu. I had Buddha vegetarian bowl which was really tasty. Not sure of the exact name but the yellow tailed fish dish which my friend had looked too tempting. The cost is on a higher side but then it’s worth once a while.

The Baja Fish Tacos are soft shell tortilla tacos are filled with crispy shrimp and fish and topped with lettuce and tomato. Love that there's also guacamole inside, who doesn't love guac?! It also comes with a Valentina's sauce on the side, which is like a hot sauce which gives it a nice little kick! Enjoying this out on their patio is just perfect!

So, this place is probably a great time to hang out and have a great time, but don’t set your expectations high for the food.

We were a large group celebrating a colleague, and everything was perfect except for one mishap. The whole point of our visit was to experience the new happy hour menu, which ended at 6pm. Around 5:30pm, our server came to take drink orders but said she would be back right away to take food orders. She came back to take the food orders just AFTER 6pm, and yes, we were initially charged full price. I spoke with a manager who initially tried to tell me that the system wouldn't honour happy hour pricing after 6pm, but after continued discussions, the pricing was honoured in the end. Obviously, his initial statement simply wasn't true. No issues with the food or drinks, and the service was otherwise great.

Nice restaurant after a day of shopping. Love the entree of lettuce wrap and chicken (amazing)! And the ravioli with lobster and shrimps was good but it said it was with truffle but I couldn’t even find the truffle scent and the portions was very small.

Our dinner was great! Waiting staff was amazing ! On our way out my nephew got his hand caught in the elevator and thankfully his mom is a nurse and was able to bandage him up! The staff rushed over to assist us and waited in the washroom with the first aid kit. They were super calm which helped the situation! Great thanks to them I wish I knew their names❤️

We chose this place as they have some vegan options. The decor is quite nice, albeit a little fussy. The food was pretty good The service was mediocre at best. They have a lot of staff running around everywhere , but it doesn’t quite look like they’re doing much. Oh and they’re fries are actually amazing

Joey is usually one of my favourites for steak and wine but this location is not exactly as the other ones. Beautiful decor that’s for sure but a strong smell of burnt oil all around the place (even the vegetables smelt like that) the servers always in a rush (take away the plates before I swallow the last bite) and the food was medium (steak not cooked as requested). I would definitely recommend the Shops at Don Mills location if you want good steak and a more enjoyable experience!

The steak was good but the mashed potatoes were a bit lacking. I asked for the washroom and was told its all the was upstairs. Not the best idea hiking to the washroom in high heels and a few glasses well of wine. The environment was very elegant and the seating was spaced enough to allow privacy at the table. Overall decent but it didn't leave a lasting impression. I don't mind trying it one more time.

This is my second time visiting JOEY's. The first location I visited was at Eaton Centre. Firstly, the service was amazing! The servers were informative and super helpful when it came to options for my allergies (gluten and dairy) and lifestyle (Vegetarian). I had the house-made veggie burger with a gluten free bun and subbed the regular fries for sweet potato fries (first and fourth picture). The veggie patty was flavourful, and held a nutty taste due to the almonds. Texture wise, it held together but easily crumbles once you remove the skewers. If you don't mind a crispy outside and soft center, then you will enjoy this burger. The gluten-free burger bun was outstanding--thick, chewy and not at all dry or crumbly. I also loved the toppings (avocado, tomato, pickle, sprouts). Overall, it's one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had. I added pictures of my family's meals as well: hand-pressed beef burger (third picture) and BBQ Salmon Rice Bowl (second picture). *Important note for birthdays: You don't get a free treat and the price I paid for my mom's fist-sized molten chocolate cake was kind of ridiculous ($10). Price-wise it's above average fare for similar meals at other chain-restaurants such as Moxie's and Jack Astor's. Ultimately, I think the price is worth it as it reflects quality and service. Expect to pay between $25-40+ for a meal (including taxes and tip).

We dined here on a Friday night, and we did not have to wait to be seated. The attendant promptly walked us to our seats and was very accommodating the whole evening. My group ordered the following menu items: CAB Sirloin Steak & Sushi ($32+4), Chicken Parmesan ($26.75), and Prawn & Lobster Ravioli ($32). They all turned out great with the food plating and presentation being on point. The steak was the right amount of tender and juicy. The chicken parmesan was also equally delectable. Overall, I have nothing to complain about the whole dining experience except for a couple of obvious facts that may already be expected for a restaurant of this standard. The menu is on the pricey side, and there are small food portions for some of the dishes. The Prawn & Lobster Raviolo meal is one such example. It is priced more than the Chicken Parmesan, but comes in a smaller serving.

My friends and I went to JOEY for a birthday dinner. Since they’re not taking reservations at this time, we were quoted a wait time of 75-90 minutes, however, they had a table ready for us within 45 minutes. The ambience was fantastic; the decor and the light fixtures are well-appointed. Even our seating was great-the booth that we were given might be the comfiest booth I’ve ever sat in! We ordered a few Spaghetti Pomodoros and Fish Tacos. The spaghetti was decent, it was fresh and the dallop of ricotta on top was a nice touch. The tacos weren’t as tasty, the fish seemed a little over-fried and wasn’t fresh. Thankfully, the sweet potato fries and the accompanying sauces were good. If it weren’t for the fries, I would have had a hard time eating the tacos. Lastly, our server, Haseena was incredibly friendly and helpful. She made our visit simply wonderful and served us with genuine care! While we didn’t get to have dessert as we had bought our own cake, we love Joey for their delectable sweets. In the future, I’m more likely to come back for the desserts rather than the main course.

Always pack but happy hours are worth it. Customer service is great. I notice they always change their menu and recently they took off the sushi away from happy hour (not sure if it’s temporary) but I always love coming here because of that when I can’t decide if I want American good old burgers or Asian food and I just stick to both. My go to orders is always the chicken chilli which is nice and crispy, sushi, garlic fries and the slider burgers! Oh and the deep fried mash potatoes are worth it!????

The majority of Joey locations are consistent in food, drinks and atmosphere. This location has a much larger number of families compared to other location, most likely due to being connected to the yorkdale mall. Good food and great service!

Great atmosphere doesn't make up for slow service and poor staff on a hot day. We came here to celebrate 2 clients purchasing a condo. Whilst we ordered quite a few meals between 4 parties, the meals came much later than they should have and not all orders were delivered simultaneously so a few of us had to wait 10 minutes for others to get their meals. The drink orders came 12 minutes after they were ordered and the staff forgot our limes which we insisted on the initial order. Food portions were reasonable, and I can't speak for the burger, steak and sushi but the butter chicken tasted more like a tomato soup lacking spices or kick. The rice pilaf composed of peas almonds was interesting but flavorless. All in all I wouldn't consider yorkdale Joey's as my go to celebratory destination, but I may give them a second chance.

Everything was perfect except for the level of sanitary practices given Covid 19. My friend and I watched several staff members wipe down tables with a cloth from a bucket with some solution in it. There was never a change of rag or solution. The same rag used to wipe the tables went back into the bucket in the solution to be used again to wipe more tables. Germs from the other tables were put Into the bucket and spread around to new tables. And the chairs were not wiped down.This was gross and disheartening to witness. When brought to staffs attention she was very gracious but explained that this issue had been brought to management and nothing was done. So... good food, good service but bring your own sanitizer and a cloth. Womp womp... happy birthday to me... ugh.

Joey is a nice and chill place to hang after a day full of shopping. I like how diverse the menu was! However, I’d recommend you stick with American fare (burgers, sandwiches) as that’s their expertise. I really loved my side of friends, so crispy! My friend ordered a salmon bowl but the salmon wasn’t fresh and had a fishy taste to it which they unfortunately masked it with a whole lot of spices. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was ok. Great customer service! Our host was very friendly and sweet.

Wow did covid ruin this place. This was the first restaurant I’ve been to since covid and I was so excited then shortly disappointed. I used to always come here especially for the salad. Now the portions are less than half the size they were with barely anything in it. And the salad looked old. Let’s just say our stay wasn’t very long. By far the quickest meal we’ve eaten. I wasn’t going to complain because the hostess was so nice so we just finished and left. I don’t think we will be heading back here again after this visit. I hope things get better for you guys because it used to be so delicious here at the Yorkdale location.

At least you can try to be respectful! After waiting for half an hour on Friday night, we ordered 2 dishes (Suchi and Ravioli). The taste and quality of the foods were unexpectedly poor, but as we were so famished, after having the dinner, we tried to give them our feedback because of poor quality and, they went why you didn't tell us before you finished your plate? The kitchen is closed and we can't offering anything, we can't withdraw your food from the rest of the bill and if you don't we are gonna put your name on the black list and you are not welcome to our restaurant anymore! The manager MUST learn how to treat people. It's not always about the money, sometimes you should just listen!

A big thank you goes out to Sakeenah who was our server on her first day. We would never have known if she hadn't told us. Very efficient, attentive and friendly. Hats off to Joey for preparing their servers so they can be this good on their 1st day. Psst....Sakeenah is a keeper!!!! Joey's always surprises me. I expect chain food and instead get really good food. This place is a good choice and now they have extra patio space but it has to be nice out as it's out in the open. FYI I had the curry shrimp bowl ,my girlfriend had the sushi and steak. Really enjoyed the sangria!

The food here is really good. Hubby and I would always get their Roast Chicken and when we moved near Sherway we were hoping they would also have it but sadly they have discontinued it. I really hope they bring their roast chicken back because it’s out of this world.

Such tasty food, great staff and overall atmosphere. I've been to this location during both day and night; it's the perfect location for a brunch or birthday dinner. Their sushi and tacos are amazing, and the entire staff is super attractive...take your best friends here for a great dine and chat! Below are the Baja fish tacos, which had an amazing taste and crunch. And the rainbow roll and salmon roll which are both killer, In my opinion, the Rainbow Roll is more filling and better tasting!!!

My boyfriend found a bottle cap in his drink. My friend had her steak brought back 3 times. We liked our waitress Bella she was super nice. We got some of our meal compt but with the health Hazzard of a bottle cap in my boyfriend's drink and possibly having a chance of chocking to death felt like all of our meal should have been free.

The food was good. Ambiance was nice. We ordered steak (NY steaks) and after 30 min we were told they don't have any more NY steak. Staff, waiters, waitress and even hostess were shaking hand and hugging people on this one table, like there is no pandemic.

I would hope that the extremely bad service is chalked up to new staff from McDonald's. I've been to 8 different locations and this one is the bad seed. One word......horrific! If I hear no problem again....I will throw up! The staff including the manager are more worried about cleaning up and getting people out than serving any tables. The meat was all over cooked. Sad location!

We went in at 6pm on a Saturday. We were seated 2 people and were seated upstairs within 5-10 minutes. We were placed upstairs near the kitchen which is both good and bad. It’s a little loud and you can hear the the shuffling and yelling in the kitchen but on the other hand it’s fun to people watch and see how a real kitchen works and gets things done. Our server was Casey- she was fantastic! Our meals were delicious- I had chicken parm( which was nice and crispy) with pasta (nice and garlicy) and also a burger with frites(aka skinny fries). Items are reasonably priced for a freshly cooked meal. If we are at Yorkdale mall we try to make it part of our visit.

Only con was it took like ages to get the food . Steak was not cooked and they new one which tasted so much better which they could have done better job first time .

My wife and I have enjoyed Joey's restaurants many times over the years. Even in Ottawa we were so impressed with the food and service. Our new favourite item on the menu are those sliders. Try these, you can't go wrong. Also their spicy chicken dish is fantastic!!!

Great atmosphere, decor, very inviting and comfortable surroundings. The main course selections ranged about 18-20$. The mix drinks little pricey, a glass of wine about 20$. I had the ahi-tuna club sandwich, it was delicious. It was cooked perfectly, made with sweet relish and spicey mayo. The staff were friendly, courteous, but we did feel a little rushed to pay the bill.

Everything is superb at Joey.. from the moment you enter, the welcome you rec'd to seating to ordering your meal to when it's over its such a good feeling. I ordered food for 5:30pm on their website. Got a confirmation and drove there to pick it up. I'm still here waiting with my dog in the parking lot for them to bring it out and it's 6:25pm. What more is there to say? Just wish they would communicate better. The food will need to be a 11/10 to curb my disappointment.

This place was huge with an elevator for those who require it. We went during off peak time. We were served our drinks and appetizer quickly. The food was great ! I got the chicken buddha bowl and my husband got the salmon mains. Very juicy and flavorful. Only thing was we were charged one extra mule. When we only asked for one extra for my husband, they punched it in twice thinking I wanted one for myself too. When I still had half a glass left to drink. The have a few seasonal drinks and foods to choose from within 20 dollars !

I made reservations to this location a month in advance for 10 people. I called in qnd the staff were incredably nice and answered all the questions I had. I was able to bring a cake to celebrate a birthday and they were very accommodating. I love the ambience of this location. It is very relaxed and the decor is beautiful. The food and the service was amazing. They were very accommodating ... even with all the restrictions. Our waitor Daniel was super nice and was funny. He was very patient with us and answered all of our questions. I honestly LOVED the food.. that's probably an understatement. not only did I have my meal but I got to try the other dishes served to my friends and they were AMAZING. All the dishes were packed with flavour.. I would definitely recommend this location and come back here again amd again.

The experience wasn’t the greatest. I ordered the protein burger with truffle fries, even paid extra for the impossible patty substitution with cheese. They ended up forgetting to add cheese which is not a big. The biggest mistake was they gave me two different patties one beef and one impossible in the burgers. I generally don’t eat meats on Fridays but after I bit into it, it was too late. I don’t like wasting food, even though the waitress did offer to remake it. I also did not want to wait. The waitress did apologize and not did not charge me me for the extra cheese. The bigger concern was my friend who was a vegetarian almost took a bite. Overall not a positive experience. Just thought Joey would be a little more careful.

My experience back at Joeys was wonderful. The food and drinks tasted amazing, as always. Along with the great tasting food, my server Sarah R was exceptional. Heard about this restaurant many times so I decided to give it a try very good experience. We had the sliders and the calamari to start sliders were excellent calamari we're okay and then I had a California Chicken with spicy mayo, aged cheddar, smoky bacon. Dessert menu was not appealing so did not go for any sweets very busy 2 floor restaurant. Our waiter was good will return.

Went there for dinner with a friend on a Saturday night. The host was nice and the waiting was no longer than 45mins. Loved the lights and place but it was obnoxiously loud that I had a hard time listening what the person was saying who wasn’t even across the table from me and it’s not even a club! The $15-$18 drinks don’t even get you slightly drink. The red sangria and the Joey signature cocktail drink was a waste and so disappointing. The food was meh, except the mushroom dip thing that came with the fries.

Definitely more driver friendly as its entrance was only accessible from the outside of the mall it's in. Driving and parking is a lot easier. They ask everyone for vaccination documentation. They take virtual barcodes and the paper vax receipts. That being said, food, drink and service was exactly what I expected from a JOEY restaurant.

Love the decor. Love the food. Try the tuna poke bowl. The ravioli with lobster and prawn is the best. I recommend they give bread with the order for dipping afterwards. The ahi tuna salad is like a party in your mouth. Great bloody Caesar but I don't know why they serve it in small glasses. Not enough for what it cost. Love the extended happy hour! Sangria was amazing. Our waiter Alex was great! Definitely returning.

Had a business meeting here with an old friend few days ago. The service and staff working here are just as equally friendly as good as they all look. Food quality is what you would expect the standard of any Joeys to be at. Always enjoy their happy hour specials. Bang for your buck when it comes to the drink and food specials.

Joey's is usually our go-to so we were very disappointed with our recent, terrible, experience at Yorkdale. Service was particularly slow and our waiter was extremely unprofessional. Some of our orders and drinks came out incorrect and needed to be sent back as well. However, the main point for us was when we were paying for the bill. At first he gave our friends a hard time for keeping a single bill. Then he flat out told us to pay more than 18% tip or he would have to pay the remainder out of his own wage. I'm not sure if this is how Joey's is really run or if he just wanted a bigger tip for poor service, but this was just purely unprofessional and wait staff should not be attempting to guilt customers into higher tips.

CHanging my rating based upon my recent visit to Joeys, The place was great, the atnosphere,the food everything was on point. I loved the shrimp flat bread. Courteous staff and definitely upscale. Thank you stephanie :) But never order lettuce wrap, it's a pure waste of money. **Old Review** Great Place, Nice ambience but food taste is okay and portion size is very less. Server was nice but he forgot our food.

Went on a Saturday night with a group of 6 friends so restaurant was packed but we got table quickly. Ambiance was lively and fun. Service was prompt and quick. Food was very well presented and delicious, every bite was full of flavour. I took a star off because we were seated right by the kitchen and it wasn't pleasant due to heat and noise coming out of the kitchen.

I love Joey's. I'm not even afraid to admit that. The draw usually is it's consistency. There is usually one to be found in any part of the city, and for an individual such as myself, who often is looking for a good patio I can take clients to at lunch, Joey's often fits this bill perfectly. I'm aware it's COVID... The Yorkdale location was a new one to me. I took my interior design client there recently and had a very mixed experience. What kept my review at a 4 star and not 3 or lower was that we had an unbelievably professional server step in, help us out and even made things right with our bill. That deserves much credit even if my steak & frites was served below room temperature. That said, I'm sure we well be back, maybe just not until next patio season ☺️

Great atmosphere with friendly staff. Wait staff accommodated our request to split 2 flat breads into one. Tandoori and pesto shrimp. The Kitchen staff was worked very closely together, in fact they had they own rugby team cheer going on. Which was pretty cool and fun to watch.

First it is important to say that I love going to JOEY, the service, food and atmosphere are wonderful. Yesterday was very disappointing though, my daughter and I were out for some shopping - yippee!! It was just the two of us and we would have sat anywhere - dining, bar, patio... It was about 3:30pm and there was a 2.5 hour wait for a table!!!! That is unreasonable. We went somewhere else. There is no way someone who is already hungry can wait that long for a table. Not sure what the solution is but we will never wait that long. Good luck.

Me and my friend were excited to go and try joeys for the first time, we showed up around 6-630 Thursday August 19 and asked for a table for 2, I was told to wait and ill be helped in a moment, I don't want to bother anyone when their busy, so me and my friend waited to be helped but no one did, I asked several times for a table only to be told to hold on and ill be helped, waited around 10-15 minutes before being cut by some lady who got a table immediately after walking in, but no one would take me and my friend. We ended up leaving and taking our business to shoeless Joe's where we spent 400$ on a great time. I'm disappointed that the staff at joeys felt like treating me and my friend like dirt and I don't think I'll ever return there because of that experience. Train your staff to maybe think more about the customer and experience and less about judging based on looks.

Went in for happy hour. We were seated and served very quickly. I was very happy with their signature sangria (one of the best I’ve had so far). However, I wasn’t impressed with the hand pressed burger. It looked fancy but it surprisingly tasted like a Big Mac, and for the price I wasn’t expecting that. I enjoyed the yam fries, as they were perfectly crisp and seasoned.

The only reason that I am giving this restaurant a 3 is for the amazing herb crusted salmon entrée and the great service from our server Julia... during these Covidian Times, I witnessed 2 different employees use the same white rag, from a red bucket (that had liquid, assuming it was a cleaning solution) to clean several tables back to back to back!!! Including touching chairs and then one went to use the broom. No sanitization was used in between these tables nor servers! Please please PLEASE...stop this practice and think of your employees that do not want to bring home "germs" to their families.

Hello everyone, we are high school friends that get together once a month for dinners. One of my colleagues booked the reservation for 7:30pm table of 7. We were split but the maitre d said she will see about sitting us in a booth. She did, by the stairs we were seated it was all good we were together. Our server was friendly, took our drink and food orders quick, appetizers arrived along with our wine which was served and thank you to the gentleman that kept our glasses full. Thank you to the ladies and gentleman that brought our appetizers and the gentleman that was keeping our water glasses full. Main courses arrived EXCELLENT! The display was perfect, my fillet was cooked perfect, tender and tasty CHEERS to the "CHEF". I would just like to say it was a perfect night and in saying I would also like to thank everyone that was serving us and making sure we were all taken care of because if you, the people were not working "US" friends will not be able to have our monthly dinners to catch up on old times and with everything going on its our way of not letting life get ahead of us! Keep up the "GREAT" work you all deserve more gratitude in these challenging times. Next time I will ask for you're names. Stay well everyone until we eat again LOL.

Joey's is always a favourite of mine, especially the ahi tuna club. It's the first dish I've had there and always my go to when I don't feel like trying something new on the menu. Staff were kind and even let my friend charge his phone when asked.
