I've been eating here for a few weeks now with take out. Mostly I just pick up sushi but this time i got naha white fish and sushi. I had a friend bring me the food at work and the fish is missing the mix vegetable and Kiyutoku hot and spicy sauce and the house salad was litterly a few pieces of iceberg lettuce. This was very disappointing cause now I have no choice but to eat it plain cause I'm at work and cant go there. It has been hit or miss with the sauce missing for the sushi aswell, on other occasions. I think it may be time to switch to steak stone and sushi. This entire meal tastes like it was made yesterday then microwaved.

Lunch was ok. We ordered the salmon teriyaki and it was dry. We also got a sushi roll, that was pretty good. Rhe thing I enjoyed the most was the fried rice,it had great flavor. I didn't care for the miso soup but rhe ginger salad was good. It was a decent meal, and the prices are low.

Placed order via Uber eats and the order was completely wrong. My request was very simply and very clear. Very frustrating ordering foo, waiting for an hour for the food and it’s all wrong. Not an Uber eats problem. It’s the restaurants problem. I called and they couldn’t have cared any less. Very poor customer service skills.

Fun place with good food and huge portions. We wanted some Asian food so we picked this place looking at some of the reviews. It did not disappoint. There are several hibachi tables and some booths. We didn't want hibachi so we sat at the booth. The salads (seaweed and calamari) were both very good. The roll (rainbow) was also very good. The Naha white fish dish was sweet (a little too much) but the portion is huge. I got three large pieces on some veggies and a scoop of rice for $13. My wife had a steak dubori dish that is also huge in quantity. We can only finish 2/3 of the dish. The service was excellent and attentive. We hear the commotion and the fun the people at the hibachi tables were having as many were celebrating birthdays or other special events and the chef put on a good show. We were very satisfied with the experience.

I’ve been a customer at this restaurant since they opened. Several times a month at least. I ordered $150 worth of sushi through DoorDash this evening, with specific instructions on one particular role to please not include avocado. The roll came with avocado the order came with no chopsticks, so we really didn’t have a means to eat the food properly. I tried calling the restaurant for an hour and a half only to get a busy signal. When I finally got through the man who answered the phone basically told me sorry but there was nothing they could do because I ordered it through DoorDash. When I asked him if that was his only answer, he confirmed there was nothing he could do because I ordered through DoorDash. When I told him I would be sure to put a review on DoorDash to let people know they shouldn’t order through DoorDash anymore he told me that was fine and hung up on me.

Went here with my fiance for date night and it was the best $150 I've ever spent they were respectful, very hygienic, the food was amazing and our chef Xim was personable and funny and even with to different family's sitting in the same area he was focused enough to get all our orders right. And they're kid friendly. if your looking for good food and a show this is definitely a good place to go.

This is by far the best hibachi grill I've ever been to. I waited to write my review for my third time coming here to confirm it wasn't just a fluke. It wasn't. The quality of food is top notch. I've had the chicken, the steak, and the lobster tail with scallops, and they're all phenomenal. The service is great as well. I've had 3 different hibachi chefs, and they're all great for a friendly atmosphere!

I live in Hamburg so I normally go to the Fuji grill at this location.. today for the first time I went to the Niagara falls location and trust me when I say that will be the last. I recommend all to go to the Hamburg Fuji grill location and never return to the Niagara falls one trust me you will see the big difference

worst experience and I will never go here again. We were sat in the back near the restrooms in a storage room. our reservations were at 5:30. We didn’t see our cook until 6:10. While having to watch a family that was seated after us get served before us. I’m pretty sure they forgot we were even there being we were in the back in a closed off room. when seated we were never asked if we were celebrating a special occasion like every other family in the restaurant. They knew we were celebrating a birthday because I explained that when I made the reservations and they never once acknowledged it. the manager also showed no concern at all. His response was “ok”. By far the worst experience.

Food is usually awesome. But this is the first time I ever got bad service ordering takeout. I dont know if it's because it was half an hour before closing time, either way I ordered my regular stuff that i get and my seafood noodle soup had no noodles and broth was way too thick and feel sick. My angry dragon roll was way too spicy, spicier than usual to the point where I couldn't enjoy it like I normally do. Dancing dream roll was normal. But all in all I dont know if they were playing with my emotions or what but it just wasnt the same and i cant be quiet about this. Portions were also dimmed down by half. But if you're looking for last minute food at late night I would be cautious.

The restaurant is lovely, with a combination of lots of hibachi tables as well as booths of assorted size. The menu is very clear, with lots of pictures and descriptions. Try the Hawaiian pineapple chicken if you usually get something with a sweeter sauce!

Don’t go here. Place is infested with roaches. Both German and American roaches. The staff don’t care and won’t keep the place clean to even get rid of them. They’re under seat cushions and even crawl across customers. God knows what the kitchen looks like

They were packed on a Saturday night so we couldn’t be given a Hibachi table. The food we thought was OK, but a little more on the pricey side. My son liked his sushi but he said he’s had better ones. My husband’s coconut shrimp was overly doused with Japanese Mayo and maple syrup(?). It was very sweet. But my vegetarian soba noodles were tasty. Our waiter was very nice though and the service was fast.

They have unbeatable authentic Japanese food that tastes amazing every time. Their restaurant is beautiful. Their hibachi workers are excellent cooks and entertainers. Their service was always friendly and timely. They seem to be having some trouble adjusting to combining online orders from several different apps, but we're all struggling in our own ways during this Covid-19 era. I'm sure they'll adapt soon.

Went with a date for rolls (May special is BOGO 50% off). Had a cozy little table in an alcove. Food and service were excellent, and the price was definitely right. Unfortunately, three hibachi dinner parties were also there and the noise was distracting to the point of being unable to carry on our conversation at points. Recommended, but if you're not taking part in hibachi, I highly recommend waiting for a table at the far end of the restaurant's seating area.

my experience was nothing short of AMAZING. I came with a group of 8 for my birthday, they gave me a large private room. My waitress LAUREN was phenomenal, so personable and fun...she made sure I had everything I needed. Juanita (not sure of her position but I believe she was a manager) went above an beyond as well trying to get the tv in the room to work upon my request she was also very nice and let me enjoy myself. Benny (not sure of his position) went out of his way to bring his personal bluetooth speaker into the room so we could listen to music. And our cook Liam was so entertaining and amazing as well. Overall my night was honestly PERFECT, especially during COVID I’m so glad I decided to have my dinner here thank y’all so much !

They have regular tables here along w their Japanese teppanyaki grill tables , and bar area . I wouldn’t recommend sitting at the bar area as it just looks like a waiting area for tables . The mixed drinks here not good but the food is pretty good along w the quality of the sushi that was made. I usually eat Japanese style when I dine out for sushi/Japanese food . Alcohol then few appetizers then main dish. Tonight we got 1. Asahi beer (draft was out) and a glass of Cabernet wine 2. Appetizers : chicken karrage , sunomono , grilled ika, and chicken yakitori- all were super good , fresh , hot 3. Sushi lovers I am stuffed and loved it here . Good food and good service

I am not sure if this mistake was done intentionally but I ordered 3 bento box shrimp tempura, salmon and tuna. I specifically told them plz make sure there is no meat in anything. The receptionist assured me as I was leaving with my food but when I opened them later, one box was chicken! That was very upsetting. Not to mention the slow service and food was not tasty. I had an excellent dinner at Fuji Grill! Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The menu is pretty large and has lots of vegetarian options (the tofu skin sushi is especially tasty). There are also good selections available for cocktails, beer and sake. On the plus side, our food (various combo's of salmon, NY strip, and lobster tail) were some of the most competently prepared hibachi I've ever had. I am so used to everything drowning in salty heavy sauces and cooked beyond oblivion, that it was delightful to have perfectly seasoned tenderly treated selections to enjoy. As expected the portions were huge, and the hibachi chef antics, Dad-jokes, and food acrobatics were on point. But, the pandemic and past several years have not been kind to the decor and environment, and hopefully management will be able to do a much needed refresh in the near future. Mouse/pest traps were visible on the floors under the grills, furniture was notable worn, and the overall vibe was dark paneling with lots of soiling, wear, and tear around the edges. Bathrooms were clean and food prep surfaces were totally fine, though. We'd definitely come again, but hopefully after a coat of paint and some furniture touch-ups...

Not a fan of deep fried food, but the atmosphere and sushi were on point. Plenty of seating and mask policy was enforced. erspective was from someone who enjoyed the deep fried specialty sushi. The next and last perspective was for the fried coconut shrimp and am told it was the highlight of the meal while exchanging gifts. Overall a recommend if you don't mind fried food.

We have been here before but was just as fun and delicious as previous visits. I had the N.Y. Steak Hibachi Lunch. Just amazing!! Fresh delicious and always thrilling to watch the way everything comes together in such an entertaining way. Service was excellent. They even brought a special desert out for Mom with a candle in it and sang Happy Birthday to her with authentic Japanese drum and wait staff singing. The smile on my Moms face was Priceless!!???????????????????? Thank you Fuji Grill you made everybody's day!! Sitting in a booth might not be the best thing here. I ordered sushi and it was the worst sushi I have ever had! I didn't even eat my meal. I was visibly upset and server consistently avoided concerns, she saw our plates weren't touched much. Fried rice was bland. Just not as good as this place can be. Extremely disappointed. I cant even think of a positive. $60 dollar bill. Money waisted. We left hungry and not taken care of properly. We sat for ten minutes just to get our bill taken care of. Friendly and accommodating staff. However the food is sub par. Everything is teriyaki style, burying the natural taste. I ordered the deluxe meal and mum ordered the seafood combo. When I called back asking where my missing items where they tried to play the “ you didn’t order them card”. After explaining it to the young man on the phone 4 times he finally admitted it was the cooks fault for boxing them wrong and forgetting my extra items. When asked what they will do for the trouble they responded with you can get the free items next time you come in. So basically they told me the items I PAID for that THEY FORGOT I could get for free next time? Well it’s not free if I paid for these items and you for got to put them in? So how is that accommodating me for the trouble you just put me through? Extremely unprofessional and irresponsible on their behalf. The manager on duty had the audacity to tell me I should come back and pick it up. How about you bring it to me since Im a half hour away and it’s your employees fault he forgot my food.

I wouldn't suggest this place to anybody they basically have poor customer service and the owner does not understand that the customers always right, and that you should be more concerned with satisfying your customers then trying to prove points, if I tell you I do not like raw chicken then I should not have to accept raw chicken if I say well well done extra charred I expect it to be so I shouldn't have to argue with nobody that I'm spending my hard earn money with I supported your restaurant you don't support me and that's what you need to understand is that I make your paycheck you don't make mine so you should be more courteous to the people that support you! Had an absolutely perfect hibachi experience today! Our host (who may have been the manager/owner) was very polite and gracious, even going so far as to pull out our chairs for us and checking in to make sure we were satisfied. Our waitress was fantastic and showed a great knowledge of the menu and was extremely pleasant at every step of the meal. The sake was nice and cold while the food was fresh and hot prepared in a very entertaining way by our chef. The routine was amusing with all of the usual tricks and jokes with the food still coming out perfect. We visited Fuji Grill for dinner hibachi. The food was very tasty and the performance was solid. I saw a few tricks I hadn't seen before. Don't be thrown by the cowboy hats; it didn't affect anything about the evening. The serving staff brought us cups of free sake too.

I really enjoy the food from Fuji grill. Matter of fact, I am a regular at the Transit Rd location. What I didn't realize though, is the fact that the Niagara falls location is a little different. They both have the habachi tables, and we all know about the excitement that comes with sitting at these tables. But unlike the Transit Rd location, they do not offer a Chinese menu. I like ordering the orange chicken, or the beef and broccoli dishes. Also, the Niagara falls location food taste a little different. I prefer Transit Rd's, fried rice over the Niagara falls location. I'm not saying the food isn't good, because it is still good. But the Transit Rd's location is way better.

Great hibachi cooking. They have a sushi bar and serve traditional Japanese food. Definitely come to this place for your birthday or someone else's. They will bring out a very large drum and sing for you as well as giving you a free birthday dessert. We came in at the same time as a mom and her kid, and they wanted a hibachi table but two people were too few to put on the show for so my boyfriend and I offered to join them. The food is ok, generally very greasy. I ordered the couple things I like on door dash a few times and they’ve tried to rip me off. I asked for a couple packets of soy sauce (free) and 2 sides of yum yum sauce (which they charge $0.50 each for on the door dash site), they tried up charging me $4.92! For side sauce! For $5 they better be giving me 2 bottles, not 2 servings! Overpriced for mediocre food. Go to Steak, Stone, & Sushi, it’s better quality and right down the road!

Very authentic food, very fresh (like SUPER fresh) fish. I had the Chirashi, and it was AWESOME! Served in a unique style with really tasty seasoned rice. The miso soup tasted homemade and very rich. Showed up quite hot, which I liked. Oh, and two of us had a beer each, shared two appetizers, and my partner had four simple sushi rolls, all for 65 bucks. Amazing food quality and quantity for a great price. We were very well cared for. Would go back again and again!

I got the Hawaiian Pineapple Chicken with brown rice. It was a very large serving, and quite good quality. However, I found it too sweet for my liking and I regretted not getting a different dish instead by the end of my meal. I will be returning at some point in the future to try something else. Still, I consider this to be one of the better restaurants in the area.

Very disappointed. Placed a to-go order. When we opened our Tom Yum soup one bowl was watery and tasteless. One shrimp and one scalop in the container. My Japanese fried rice was nothing better that you would receive at any chinese food spot. My Philadelphia rolls were ok. The portions were bigger than my usual sushi spot but I will continue to drive all the way on Transit road to receive tasty cusine. I had high homes of dining local and more often. I feel like this was a waste if $55.00

This place is fantastic. Have had multiple great experiences in the restaurant on both romantic dates in their semi-private booths to fun, group dining at the hibachi tables (pre covid). Each time the staff is attentive, friendly and the food is amazing. I've also ordered take-out from them many, many times and the food is prepared exactly as ordered and tastes just as good as when dining in. Can't say enough great things abut Fuji and look forward to my next visit!

I absolutely love this place. My husband and I always get the filet and scallop. And the steak just melts in your mouth even when warming up left overs the next day. We come here all the time. However we made a reservation a week in advance for mothers day. Wanted to treat my mom. Our reservation was for 5 and we didnt get sat until about 6. We had our 2 and 5 year old with us. Which we normally eat at 5. They were not happy. My 2 yyear old cried the majority of the wait. We got some drinks at the bar. And thankfully the bartenders alivia and Aaron did everything theyy could to help keep the kids calm. Suckers. Fruit. Drinks. Talking to them to help calm them down. I was close to leavig to go to the chinese buffet to feed my kids as quicklyy as possible. Aaron and Alivia kept checking on the table to see when it would be ready. While everyytime I asked the host she gave me an attitude or would just walk away without answering me. The entire waiting area was full and majorityy of them had reservations. Ive been in the restaurant business as a host and server for about 12 years. I know it gets overwhelming. But the customer service should start with the hostess and I didn't see a smile on her face once. Or apologize to any of the customers for the inconvenience. The servers picking up their drinks from the bar were taking the wrong drinks. It was a mess. Once we finallyy sat down my 2 year old screamed for the 1st 15 mins until the salads arrived. Which of course irritated the other family at the hibachi. And myself having a screaming kicking hungryy toddler on my lap while trying to enjoy a nice outing for mothers day. So future references when people make reservations you hold those spots. The experience at a hibachi is about an hour. The ones without reservations shouldve been waiting an hour. Not the ones with the reservations. We will be back. And thats thanks to alivia and Aaron. There was no manager on duty. So thank you to alivia and aaron for making our experience as best as it could be!

My wife and I had an absolutely spectacular experience here while visiting for our anniversary. Making a reservation was easy and smooth. The person on the phone was very polite and attentive. The service was outstanding... prompt, polite and professional. We had our drinks and starter salad in about 30 seconds and our appetizer within 3-4 minutes. The rocking shrimp, sushi, and hibachi was as good if not better than anywhere we have ever had it before. And the best part was it was quite modestly priced for a sushi/hibachi resturant. Highly recommend.

Fuji Grill is my go-to when I don't feel like eating in. The hibachi food is fresh and cooked right in front of you and the sushi is better than anywhere else WNY offers. If you love sushi, don't be afraid to sit at the sushi bar and order Omakase (I trust the chef). You won't be disappointed.

I've loved coming here, I've always had exceptional service and great food. My recent visit here I placed an takeout order. I ordered two sides of scallops, which were apparently $12 a side, and it only came with (4) four scallops. I was shocked when I got home and looked at my bill. I had also ordered two sides of hibachi noodles. It would have been nice for someone to let me know that I could have made it a meal instead of being charged individually. Make your money, but don't ripp off loyal customers. Not sure if I'll be back.

We have been to other hibachi places and this location was nothing to write home about... Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and very attentive, while our chef was very boring and the food was bland. Overall it was not a fun experience like hibachi should be???? very dissatisfied. But like I said the woman who was our waitress was wonderful. The time we were there we had a great time with her, she made up for the slacking chef????

Ambience and food are incredible. Close your eyes for a minute and it will make you feel like you're in Japan. Fuji Grill is a very special place to me. And the staff treats you like a VIP. Hibachi is spectacular to watch while eating.

The BEST Hibachi experience I’ve had. I go to a Hibachi place every year for my wife’s birthday and for any special occasion I can choose. So out of the many I’ve been to this was amazing. From free Saki being sprayed in our mouths to cucumbers being launched and caught, it was very entertaining and fun. Food was also competing for best taste.

Just moved to WNY from the West Coast. Best Japanese food in a long time. Glad my sister and I left another restaurant to come here. My sister had the Beef Negimaki dinner and we got the shrimp tempura appetizer. Everything was prepared to perfection. What a surprise the beef negimaki turned out to be with the scallions on the inside of a slight exterior crust and tender beef. However, the dark horse of the meal was the green salad with the house dressing…WOWZERS! Fresh, cool, and crisp lettuce with an ever so slight sweet tangy Asian inspired dressing. Top shelf quality. This stuff should be sold in markets! Along with our great meal, hostesses were friendly and our server (sorry, didn’t get her name) with cool tats, piercings and awesome hair were phenomenal. Totally coming back! Muah!

I have to say I am thrilled Fuji Grill finally reopened and though some people might be upset with the wait for pick up, I'm glad to see they're so busy amidst all this craziness. When I went there my experience was first thing the sushi ???? it wasn’t that bad but the regular sushi the top fish the fish was very long! Let’s get on to the other things now so i would say the food wasn’t that hood for hibachi but there food is good! But the most sushi place that I recommend is YOKOHAMA there sushi it’s very nice! The atmosphere is pretty nice here. Decorations are attractive. The habachi was delicious and cooked well. Also got a spider roll which was not the best but still ok. It seemed to be lacking flavor in the crab and a tad low on the avocado. The only other thing that might be a turn off are the habachi chefs. The three I saw were a bit messy, done food ended on the ground a a couple broken eggs, but still amusing.

The cooks are awesome and entertaining. Definitely recommend the food from the Hibachi cooked fresh. It is entertaining for the kids as well. This place has gone down hill from when it first opened. My wife and i became regulars and knew the staff and management well. After Max left, I have yet to have a meal that was not cold, under / overcooked or tasted as if it was made and warmed up in the microwave. Sadly my past few experences I am done with this place and wouldnt suggest it to anyone, especially to fans of the fans of Fuji's past.

This time I came here and sat in booth, with my girlfriend. The food was quite good, I got udon noodle seafood meal and it was more than enough for me. Service was okay, but not the best. And honestly, sitting in a booth made me realize how cringey the whole "show" is that they put on for hibachi. I'll keep coming here for the food, but probably not for the hibachi show. Maybe it's just not for me? Who knows. I'd say try it for yourself, and I would also say the food alone is worth going for!
