Happened upon this place purely by luck (not high on Google's recommend). This place has a fantastic menu, and the service was great too. My wife and I shared the dhaba curry, jerk chicken tacos, and the black bean soup. All great, and couldn't finish it all. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Wait staff really nice menu very good but steak on poutine terrible tastes like they had dumped the whole salt cellar on it the beef was tough and dried out too much sauce/gravy made the fies totally soggy decor of restaurant very nice

Certainly a nice addition to the few group of restaurants in Yarmouth area. It has its own style, thankfully, it is not just another fish and chips restaurant. The menu has a good variety of dishes and the portions are good sized. The dinning space is renovated. Prices are reasonable. They are nice enough to optimize your order to your liking.

Quick service, generous portions, and delicious food are some of the main reasons to check out this new restaurant. After making the transition from food truck to restaurant Gaia hasn't missed a beat and they have maintained the same level of excellence that their customers have come to expect. I once made the mistake of ordering the large fish and chips, expecting two, maybe three pieces of fish. When it arrived there were 6 pieces that were each what I would consider to be large pieces of fish and each one was perfectly cooked.

5/5 food, 2/5 service. Multiple mistakes on our order and the bills, but the food made it worth it! One waitress was slightly rude when asking us who was driving after ordering a pitcher to split between 5 people (one of us hadn't had anything to drink whatsoever).

Service by Tia was great. They served an IPA and had the largest wine selection of anyplace in Yarmouth area. English style beer battered fish and chips, a little greasy and chips appeared to be near the end of a bag. Will try again...

Had dinner here with my family of four. I really enjoyed the fish tacos and my son had the kid's chicken and rice option. The chicken was real chicken breast as opposed to the usual processed chicken fingers often found on kid's menus. It also came with fresh raw veggies and rice. As a family on vacation, it was nice to eat out somewhere where there were plenty of fresh non-greasy options. Everything was seasoned beautifully. We highly recommend the bacon wrapped scallops. They melted in our mouths and were prepared to perfection.

Gaia has a lot of options to choose from, whether it's your traditional Yarmouth fish & chips or some spicy jerk chicken poutine, you're never disappointed with the variety. I've been here a handful of times and the service has always been fast and helpful and the food is always delicious. I definitely recommend Gaia as a place to try if you're into trying out new things. (Pictured is the Lebanese plate)

My family went here for our first night in Yarmouth and were so happy with the service and the quality of the food that we quickly returned the next night. Both the veggie burger and the Lebanese plate were high-quality; I was very happy to learn that they substitute meat with tofu in their vegetarian options rather than simply serving a meal with no protein. Would highly recommend!

This place was so good we went back for dinner the next night. Together our mostly vegetarian group of three ate three veggie burgers, two Lebanese platters with tofu substitutions and one fish taco...all were delicious, plentiful, served very quickly by awesome staff. We were extremely grateful after a long day traveling.

A beautifully decorated, cozy restaurant with friendly wait staff and a menu that offers a diverse variety if flavourful, interesting global dishes, as well as offering more traditional foods such as fish and chips and the best burger in town. The music is easy listening, the art on the walls is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Give this place a try, you'll be glad you did.

I've got an onion and garlic allergy and this place actually has a garlic free menu! They were amazing at offering modifications for the onion as well. Food is made to order, service is excellent. The kids menu also offers some standards for fussy eaters.

Started with the Asain Nachos, Fantastic! I would get them everytime. For supper I had the jerk chicken tacos. As a spice lover there spicest option was a perfect level to be spicy but not interfere with the flavor of this amazing meal. This restaurant is the Gem on Yarmouth and everyone should try it out!

Second time visiting, again not a good experience. Many cocktails not available and very smoky throughout the whole restaurant. A large amount of crumbs were under and on my chair when we were seated. Service was friendly but the food was terrible. We had the shrimp drunken noodles and pulled pork poutine. The noodles came with chicken instead of shrimp and were very spicy when asked for mild. The poutine part was ok but pulled pork looked/tasted like it came from a bag and heated in the microwave. With a 4.6 star average, maybe this is a Yarmouth standard? Wouldn’t recommend specially for close to $70!!!

First time going here, and had been wanting to try it. The food was good aside from the really small fries, and when I say "small" I mean it. Our waitress never told us the specials, as we heard them when a new table came in. I had to get someones attention in order to get ketchup for my fries, and our waitress only checked on us once. This is one place I won't be going back to.
