Ok food and prices. The new decor looks great. Not sure about the new name though. Barns / farms are dirty so the name is kinda insulating to both the business and the customers. Change the name.

Interesting redux of a quintessential Canadian breakfast and lunch resto. Apparently the place has gone through a few names recently. The former name was still at the entrance from the rear where off street parking is available. Main level WC and new decor using primarily paint. It's still a work in progress which should be followed and enjoyed. Not sure if it's fully accessible but to some degree it is as most of the place is on the one floor with a smaller separate private room that is up a couple of steps.

Worked there for a day, the owner refused to shake my hand. After multiple attempts to introduce myself he laughed at me and walked away. The kitchen is Absolutely disgusting and hasn't been cleaned properly in quite some time. If I had kids that's the last place I'd take them, someone going to get sick.

I think this place used to be called The Olympic. I hadn’t eaten here in 25 years or more. When I came back breakfast was fantastic, but maybe because I had eaten at The Chuckwagon a few days before so my standards were in the basement. Seriously though, the food was excellent. Homey vibe, and the waitress an old friend I hadn’t seen in a LONG time. Altogether recommended by me if you’re a local or passing through like I was.

Awesome breakfast at an incredible value. Family friendly environment and great staff make this a winner. The only thing that keeps it from a 5/5 is that the coffee is average diner coffee. Check out The Barnyard as soon as you can!

Went in for the first time and had the hungry man breakfast, not as much food as what you could get at some other places but it was fantastic so I didn't really care (don't really need the pancake anyway ????). Great food and good price! My son really enjoyed it too. One of the best breakfasts in town, hot and fresh. I thought their coffee was great. Kitchen staff has their s*** together, keep up the good work. Will definately be returning for our favourite meal if the day! Glad we found this little gem ????????

Great food, great prices, they over load your plate it's amazing!! Coffee is light but it's all the spots, went for my first time over the weekend and will definitely be coming back a lot more often!! Hubby is a Eggs Benedict lover and he said there's is pretty spot on, which means it was one of the better ones in town! It's a small little place but also not over crowded Highly recommend trying it out!

You need to wear a mask in....they take your temp and you sign a book with your name and phone number.....they have masks available for$1.00.... once this is done...you can take your mask off....if you use the washroom and upon leaving you need to wear the mask..... awesome precautions....thank you

My wife and I had the peameal bacon breakfast, we substituted the hash browns for tomatoes, and it was very delicious. The prices are fair and the restaurant is quite charming. The service was also very friendly and they are very good at following covid protocols. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast.

I came for breakfast! The server was new and she did a great job. I wouldn't say the best breakfast in town but it was still pretty good. For the price point, it was reasonable but doesn't compare to other places in terms of what you get for you $$. Id go back again with the family or by myself. Nice people nice resturaunt. After reading all the reviews we decided to check it out. The all day breakfast is really a limited all day breakfast and was kind of misleading because they won't serve waffles or pancakes after 11 only items with eggs, I wish they were clear about that. The servers response was "that's what most places do" instead of taking it in a positive form of feedback. After we were sitting the server told us there were no burgers which was a good chunk of the menu too. Needless to say this became a misleading experience and we decided to leave without ordering, too bad because it seemed so promising. TLDR: THIS IS NOT AN ALL DAY BREAKFAST PLACE!

Food was alright. Service was good, but for what you get it's expensive. I got the chicken Caesar wrap with side Caesar salad. The gf for the Philly steak sandwich. Portions were small. Everything tasted good, just nothing special to write home about. The specials were a good price but everything else was expensive. The washroom had cob webs and didn't look like it was cleaned in years but the dining room was very clean.

I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened as the barnyard. As of late a lot of changes have been happening,And not for the better. The new policies of grilled potatoes only Monday through Friday has lost us as customers. I've had a couple of run-ins with the owner who's extremely rude but chose to forgive it because some of their staff.

Wonderful dinning experience. Found this restaurant by random chance while driving by with my mother and daughter. Food was hot, delicious and the wait time was very short.
