This is our new favourite place to go in Woodstock! The food is outstanding, every single thing we have tried has exceeded our expectations. The Tots Deluxe, Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwich, and the Salmon are our favourites. The craft root beer and spiced rum is to die for, we have been purchasing the root beer to take home and make our own drinks! The service is always friendly and the atmosphere is really fun and relaxed :) We are huge fans!

We absolutely love The Brickhouse Brewpub so much! It has become one of our number one go to spots for a good night out, dinner or lunch. It's always our first choice when we're out and about in the Woodstock area and want to enjoy some good brews and great eats! Their food and beverage selection is fantastic and the staff is absolutely phenomenal and hey!!! They have live music on occasion too!!!! Such an awesome establishment.

The location is great and food is great but customer experience poor. Our food order was delayed due to a back up in the kitchen and we were asked to consider takeout vs finishing our meal on patio as our time limit had expired. Manager was very rude and accused us of being the problem for not ordering sooner. Poor customer service

First time since visit since lockdown. You have to call ahead to book, make sure you request a table if you are older as the picnic benches are uncomfortable. Unbreaded salt and pepper wings were awesome as were the onion rings. Friends had fish and chips and didn't like them but they enjoyed the Brewhouse salad. No waiters, you have to order your food and drinks at the bar. Nicer back side patio that you reach through a tree shaded path behind the building, patio more private than sitting roadside like at some resturants.

The beer was good, food was good. Although they didn't tell you where the menu code was. You had to order at the bar, get your beer and they only served food. So when you order per table it came out at all different times. They bus the tables but no bill is brought to you. Kinda like eating at a Cafe. Wouldn't be too excited to eat here but wouldn't be upset if someone chose to bring me either.

this is the best bar in Woodstock. doesn't get stupid roudy with 17 year olds, stocks good to great beers on tap and of course keeps a great selection of house brews as well. prices are great from sample 5oz pours to full pints and even the hard stuff. big ++ is that they also sell a bunch of food: impressively priced considering the portions and lends itself really well to sharing. check out the beer cheese dip with the pretzel bites to dip. great to see folks moving away from corporate cookie cutter restaurants which have become par for the course in so many smaller cities in Ontario.

Chowder had good flavor but was thin like soup and not much in the clam department. Habenaro mango wings were flavorless and absolutely no heat. My friend was disappointed in his burger, definitely not worth the $17 price tag. Guess if you like the beer, I dont, the food is an afterthought anyway.

Went for a few drinks and appetizers. Was very disappointed in the food. Great selection of brews but for just opening was hoping for fresh ingredients not microwaved pretzel bites, cheese dip that tasted like melted cheese-whiz, and McCain fries. Was told to come back as they are going to try to improve their food. Would have been nice to get the food right before opening. If you are looking to sit with friends and have a beer good location and selection. Looking for drinks and appetizers not your place.

Great food! Chicken Pesto sandwich is the best chicken sandwich in Town! The burgers are legit but I go for their salads!! The chicken is always tender, juicy and properly seasoned. Update! New Cajun chicken sandwich on the menu!!! So good Good atmosphere. Staff is awesome! My favorite place in Woodstock to come hang out with the staff and drink some good local beer. Don’t forget the sweet potato fries & chipotle mayo ????

Food was very tasty. Brews were okay, according to my companions. However, you must seat yourself, insufficient number of menus available, so we had to beg other tables for them. Staff didn't offer to help with that issue. All if the orders had to be placed by going to the batmr, which indicates insufficient staff. One of the men's order was delivered so late the rest of us had almost finished eating. No apology or explanation from the staff.

Daughter wanted to go here for her 25th birthday and it is great for grabbing light meals or appetizers, the beer selection is fantastic but I would only suggest it for a place to socialize over a couple drinks. Mind you this is during covid and so most likely not the normal four here.

A bit confusing when you 1st arrive. Must find your own seat and go up to the bar to order food and drinks. You can pay at that time or run a tab until you are ready to leave. Go early as it gets busy quick! LOTS of beer flavors and styles to choose from. Food was hot and fresh. Can't wait to go back.

Poorly managed. You really should schedule more than one person to work on your patio on the weekend. It’s too busy for one person to confirm screening, seat people, take orders, work the bar, and process transactions. We sat for an hour and saw people who came after us getting their food. We asked politely when ours might come and were told that they didn’t know. Five minutes later, they came back and said the order didn’t go through so we could reorder but that it would take a while.

My husband and I found this two year old beautiful craft brewery pub today in Woodstock, Ontario. Brickhouse has amazing beer and oh-so-delicious food. Their Dusk to Dawn white stout and Darkside Chocolate Stout are amazing!! Thanks to our server for the recommendations! We loved them both so much we brought a few home. My husband, a newly ardent IPA lover, enjoyed their Cloudy with a Chance of Haze IPA. #hoppydude I’m still not an IPA lovah. Their Brickhouse Burger complete with cheese curds, beer-infused gravy, bacon jam ???? ... was truly delish as was my husband’s Philly Cheesesteak (with beer-infused cheese sauce) and onion rings. And their fries? Guuurrll, don’t get me started! They’re like chip wagon perfection. I’m a total french fry expert. Seriously great eats and brews. If you’re in the Woodstock area this is a must stop kinda place. We will be back with friends. Tip: check their site for their hours, covid regulations and a reservation during peak times is highly recommended. We will be back.

Such a fun atmosphere! Lots of craft beers to select from alongside a well stocked bar. The food is delicious with lots of locally sourced ingredients prominently featured in the menu. They do operate a bit different than a traditional sit-down pub. Here, you grab your table, then head to the bar. You start a tab, get your drink and if you're ordering food, you'll get a table number. You go take your seat with your drink and your food will arrive to your table when it's ready. Respeat cycle until comfortably buzzed and stuffed with crazy good pub food.

Nice atmosphere but not much else to bring me back to this place. They got our order wrong (which was just their special) and the beer isn't that great. I ordered the BOTW, which was a sauted pepper + pesto burger with goat cheese and they literally forgot the pepper. So it was just lettuce, burger, and goat cheese. They moved us from our table midway through our time there because they said a "large party" was coming through, but a party the same size as our was seated in our spot within 10 mins. The portion sizes were also not very good considering what they charge. The hostess was nice enough but its hard to justify the prices they charge for what they offer.

Excellent beer. I had the Dark Side chocolate stout. Nice! I are the Taco dinner. It was good. Tacos were small. I had one beef and one fish. The side of tater tots filled what space the small tacos left. No desserts. That was a bit of a disappointment... Overall, not a bad place. Might try it again for the beer.

I don't get the point of you have to go and oder your food at the bar by yourself, no service...help yourself for the price of regular pub with a service included. Beer flavor changes all the time so forget about your favorite beer you looking for that you had last time they don't have it today.

Meh... I don't like to serve myself when I go out to relax and have a beer with some food. Either did my friends. Service was rude. The 'regulars' seemed to get treated great. The (what seemed like) manager seemed overwhelmed and cranky. She was a real treat to deal with. She should try smiling occasionally. Surely it's not too hard is it? Being in the service industry? Standing in a line up for 15 minutes behind people ordering beer was annoying. Not exactly relaxing. Our table unanimously agreed that the serve yourself thing was not for us. We all had a long day and didn't appreciate standing in line to order our food.

Great place for a beer and a bite, prices are pretty good, 10 taps for their own house beer and 10 guest taps mean lots of choices whether you like their beer or not, I quite like the Timberbeast as a go to, The dawn til dusk white stout is also quite good and different from most stouts I've had. Beer cheese dip with fresh salsa and tortilla chips are always great, as is the beer battered fish and chips. My only complaint is how you have to come up to the bar to order both food and drinks, I don't think anyone wants to get up in the middle of their meal to order another drink, it's time to get a real wait staff and do away with the current practice.

TOP NOTCH ALL THE WAY!! The server McKenzie was phenomenal! On a super busy night, McKenzie helped us non-stop. She made us feel like it wasn't busy at all, but we could clearly see it was. She helped navigate the menu with wonderful suggestions and she was right with every suggestion! The food was incredible. My wife and I cannot wait to go back with some friends.

My wife and I went for lunch here today. The service and food were great! The staff asked how our meal was and genuinely cared about our experience. Very refreshing and unexpected. The onion rings were the best I’ve ever had. We will be back. Gotta try out that patio in the summer. ????

I had a beer (which was fine) and the saddest Philly cheese steak I've ever seen lol.they actually served what seemed like pre-packaged sliced beef on a soggy non toasted hotdog bun with liquid nacho cheese for $15!.also when used the washroom before leaving glanced over the wall at the kitchen to find layers of dust covering/hanging off all ducts,lights,fans etc over where they prepare the food......gross

January 17/20 at 4pm we had a Group of 15 celebrating a fair we’ll to our coworker and congratulate to his new job. Called in advance to reserve a table and was told that we could not make a reservation-they don’t do reservations. A waitress walked up to our table at 5:53 and told us that the owner is kicking us out of the back table because we need be gone by 7pm because the back table is reserved. what the f Moe?

The place looks really nice and clean. They did a good job making the place seem inviting and upbeat. There's no table service which is kind of a bummer so you've got to go up to the bar to order each beer. Most of the staff seemed nice and helpful but the white-haired manager lady was yelling at staff and patrons alike and generally being kind of rude. This made the entire ordering process more intense and awkward than it needed to be. Not the vibe I'm looking for when trying to relax with friends and have a pint or two after work. I asked the white-haired lady if she had any Hefeweizens on tap, and she had no idea what I was talking about. When paying a premium price for a premium product, it's nice when the staff is knowledgeable enough to help you make an informed consumer decision, and this wasn't the case. One of the cool things about visiting brew pubs is talking to staff and learning new things about the beers you're trying. The overall beer selection was very good with 20+ beers on tap and new stuff coming in regularly. The beers I tried out were both very good. But I guess don't go in blind and expect any recommendations from the staff. Overall, if you want craft beer in Woodstock, this place is pretty much your only option, so I guess beggars can't be choosers. But if you're like me and you've been to dozens of these types of places, this one would probably fall pretty low on your list of options. Lots of potential here, but lots to work on as well. I'll try back in a few months and see if things have improved.

I am utterly disgusted and thoroughly disappointed with being refused service today. I am a truck driver. I am an essential worker. I happen to cross the border for work purposes. I cannot and do not cross over for fun. I do it because otherwise I cannot support my family. As an essential worker, being treated this way is a slap in the face. I am all for supporting local during these times, however the brick house has forever lost my business. And I will be sure to tell all my friends and family as well. It is a shame it’s come down to this but I will not tolerate being disrespected.

Very interesting building with some great craft beers on tap. Walk into the large seating area then head up to the bar. They have a big board with 12 different beers listed on each side of the bar. Each beer has a small description about it, including alchohol percent, flavor and brewery. The decor is old warehouse. There is a large patio out back and its family friendly. They also serve food.

First time coming to this establishment. It has great food and great drinks. You have to walk up and order your food which is a bit different. The atmosphere was very nice and well kept. The only complaint I would have is that we weren't greeted by any staff except for by the queen herself in the parking lot. At first it was very quiet till one of the girls played music from their cellphone. Their playlist was good though!. Food came quick!. Will come back again and I definitly recommend coming here.

We just tried the Brickhouse Brewpub tonight. First off, the location looks as though it was designed to house a brewery even though it was developed years ago for an entirely different purpose. The beer selection is excellent, something for everyone with seasonal options such as cranberry flavoured beers and the like. But what I would love to showcase, is the food. The food was simple, pub fair with a twist. We ended up ordering 4 dishes to share amongst 3 of us and we devoured each option in no time! Prices are very reasonable and I like the traditional pub ordering system where you order all drinks and food at the bar. It really streamlined our experience. Definitely will go back!

Best burgers in Woodstock! This is my go-to place to get food and drinks with friends. Excellent selection of craft beers, and the food is tasty. Highly recommend the burgers and sweet potato fries. Loaded nacho fries (waffle fries with nacho toppings) are very good as well. The building has a neat vintage vibe and the patio is spacious, with it's own outdoor bar. Make sure to get a reservation, this place is busy on weekends. One thing I'd love to see return to the menu is the Hangover Burger. Can never go wrong with a fried egg on a burger.

The place was nice and clean, but the staff left us there without showing us to our table, when we get to our table, no one comes around to serve us, only to find out..you need to get up, go to the bar, and order your food and drinks there. It would of been nice if someone told us, instead of sitting there clueless. The food pullpork flat bread was really good, but our rigatoni came out cold, and tasteless.

After 4 days of eating at brickhouse I can gladly say it's an exceptional establishment. The food is great, the atmosphere is welcoming and the people that work there are some of the friendliest people. I recommend the Mac and Cheese to anyone that goes!

Brickhouse Brewpub and Upper Thames Brewery exceeded our craft-beer pub-loving expectations! Their thoughtful menu elevates pub-food to a new level by offering unique twists on many classics at an excellent price point. We ordered the delicious Beer Mac and Cheese and the Chicken & Waffle special, and both were spectacular. The Maple Dijon sauce for the chicken was a perfect balance to the savoury waffles and everything just enhanced the flavours of the beer. The atmosphere of the pub is both historic and modern, with a very welcoming vibe and great design details. Overall we send a great "Cheers" to the staff, kitchen and owners. Can't wait to check out the patio in warmer weather!

This was an excellent experience with excellent food. My 4 stars instead of 5 are that I called ahead knowing most of the guests including me live 1.5 hours from the Brickhouse. I needed to make a reservation and ask about a few details before putting it all in motion. Mariah answered my calls both times. I actually said to my family, "if Mariah isn't one of the owner's family they need to know she's an amazing asset to this restaurant!" Sadly I forgot to mention my mask exemption to her since it's been honoured throughout SW ON for 19 months except for at Costco. Most of my family were already seated on the patio so I jumped the gun by seating myself totally forgetting about masking etc. I said I was exempt but it wasn't readily accepted so a manager was sent to my table. She wasn't forthcoming that I'm welcome so I became defensive (not to the point of drama) but ultimately I couldn't use the washroom or go to the bar to order my own food and drink. My only inconvenience was not being able to drink knowing I can't use the washroom and I'm 1.5 hours from home. I'm from Lambton Shores where most of our popular restaurants have outdoor port-a-potties for patio patrons. I'm not sure how this company will proceed about masking exemptions I only want to say this is a great place to go for a good atmosphere and good food. I do not know anything about the inside of this establishment.

I always have a great experience at the Brickhouse!! The atmosphere is by far the best out of all the restaurants in Woodstock and area and their food is so much better than chain restaurants too! The staff are very friendly and food is always quick to come. I personally don't like beer, so I get the ciders instead and they are delicious. The waffle nachos are definitely my favorite, but I'd also recommend their burgers or pulled pork flatbread.

Came here for lunch with my niece. Very nice out on the patio. We had fish tacos and a lovely garden salad!! So delicious. Lunch arrived very quickly!! So enjoyable!!

Really like it here. Atmosphere is fresh and comfortable. Staff is really friendly, and service is quick. Had the wings, they are really good, and everything else I saw looked great. Of course, the beer is fantastic - nice to see so many guest taps, too. Parking lot of huge and easy to navigate. Nice to have a place like this on the north end of town. Look forward to going back!

First time visit to this fantastic restaurant. Staff were excellent and the smoke burgers were awesome. Can't wait to play 9 at the Sally Creek Golf Club and try more of the menu. 25 different beers on tap from Upper Thames Brewery and other independent craft breweries. Patio looked very nice as well. Definitely a place I will add to my rotation.

This place is awesome, we have been here multiple times and sometimes it’s packed and sometimes it’s not, but regardless the experience is amazing, beer is great, and food is always amazing. We had McKenzie and she was and is always fantastic! A weekly occurrence for us no doubt!

Fish and chips were some of the best I've had in a while. Swallowed it down a fogbound English pub style. Went down smooth, was very tasteful and worth the money. Atmosphere was fantastic. My favourite restaurant in Woodstock so far. Will go back. Will probably be a long time, consistent customer. You have got to check this place out!
