I am not usually one to leave reviews because I tend to be very opinionated! However, I have been amazed by this restaurant and go here much more often than I should! This restaurant is addiction I cannot break. The food is creative and brings a piece of Vietnamese flavours and puts them into Canadian cooking. Owner, Bihn, is probably one of the kindest people you will ever meet. She cares about her customers and makes sure they are always cared for. She is also open to feedback which makes a real good business owner. My recommendations are the pho here. It’s one of my favourite dishes and isn’t made like others due to its water base broth. I’m so glad she has moved to Woodstock to share her talents and highly recommend this place. She has been so popularly loved by the community that she has had the opportunity to expand to a bigger venue and you can guarantee I will be there when it opens. Please help this small business owner let y out into the family she calls “Pho Binh Thanh Restaurant”

My favourite restaurant in Woodstock! In the five years I've been eating here I've never had a bad meal. It took me quite a while to order something different than Chicken Pad Thai, because it was so good. My wife loves the Cashew Chicken and Vermicilli dishes. The Pho is great and my new favourite is the Mexican breakfast. If you aren't familiar with Asian food, other fare like Cabbage Rolls or Spaghetti are great too!

What a beautiful little restaurant. I go there often, No matter what I am craving, there it is. I stopped by for lunch today, I was pleasantly surprised how good the pho was, I had a cold, needed something hot and spicy and this restaurant delivered I have tried Veit or Viet thai all over GTA and I have to say the pho was fabulous. They also serve all day breakfast (regular stuff) will give that a try next time The server was very welcoming Update 05/08/18 Ordered chill chicken with yellow noodle, it was fantastic Update 07/08/18 Ordered steak and eggs, it's was fabulous, the steak was done exactly how I asked it to be, same with eggs, home fries were amazing Update 12/08/18 Ordered curry shrimp and potatoes with plain rice It was fantastic, simple and flavorful. Update 12/09/2018 Ordered Veggie Omelet comes with home fries and toast, it was made just perfect Update 16/09/18 Ordered #809 spicy Flat rice noodle with beef and veggies Absolutely amazing!!!! Decided to go here on a whim. I wanted a simple breakfast. Looked at the low prices and was skeptical. To my surprise, my poached eggs toast and bacon were perfect and service was fast even though the place was packed. I mean very fast. Home fries were nice and crispy soft on the inside. I would say this is most certainly the perfect breakfast. Fast, simple and good coffee. Will return again if ever in Woodstock again.

New restaurant is beautifully decorated, much bigger but still warm and inviting with very friendly staff. They are very safe with strict Covid-19 safety measures in place without it being inconvenient. They have adapted seamlessly and that is impressive on it's own. The food is just as awesome as always; breakfast being our favourite time to go. Nothing beat the specials. Huge quantities, amazingly affordable prices, wonderful atmosphere and the coffee is awesome. Highly recommend to all.

If you’re looking for a satisfying and quick meal BURSTING with flavour and LOADED with fresh ingredients for under $10 - YOU’VE GOTTA EAT HERE! I recently tried Binh Thanh after moving here this week, and have been back twice. I’ll probably be back weekly as their food is PHOnomenal - pun intended. The flavour in their Banh Mi is out of this world and you can’t beat the price since the Banh Mi all come with a drink. I don’t personally think you’ll find another sub sandwich this good for the price in town. They’re always speedy and have great service! We look forward to dining in once that’s allowed again as they’ve got a beautiful space too. We’ve also ordered a few other dishes off of their menu, and LOVED EACH! But if you’re reading this and new to Vietnamese, TRY A BANH MI - that will hook you, and before you know it you’ll be a regular!

Wow. Just. Wow. I absolutely love it! First time here and I will be back ????. I always order the BBQ vermicelli at all the vietnamese restaurants I go to and consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur, and this one just takes the cake! So refreshing, perfect flavouring/seasoning, and huge portions so I get 2 meals out of it and the price is right. Binh (the owner) was very hospitable and made me feel at home. I wish I had taken a picture to share but I ate it right away cause it was so good! I’ve posted my leftovers to show how much food I have left over even after I am very full. Had lemongrass beef bbq vermicelli and a shrimp fresh roll (which was warm when I ate it , and Binh came and personally wrapped it up in plastic wrap so it stays fresh ????). Thanks again, everything was wonderful ????????

Interesting concept at this restaurant, serving Canadian food + Vietnamese food under the same roof, how cool is that? Imagine you ordered the beef pho and someone else order fish n chips? How interesting? During the pandemic, the resto has a number of safety protocols implemented. One way to enter and another door to exit. There are areas for people to order take out and wait for their food. People all wear masks and have to provide their phone INFO and name before dining in. It looks like they have all-you-can-eat prior to COVID-19, this is my 1st time here so I am just thinking based on the buffet station at the centre of the resto. Staff here wearing masks are courteous and provided great service. We ordered beef pho and fried spring rolls. It's average, nothing spectacular, there is no beef tripe or beef tendon available but serving rare beef, cooked beef and beef balls, it does the job but it's not the best I had eaten, so please keep your expectation in check. But in a City of Woodstock, Ontario, I got to taste Vietnamese Food, I am grateful!

I've given this restaurant a few chances now and everytime I am disappointed. I most recently purchased a tom yum soup and some fresh rolls. The Tom yum had practically zero flavor, it had no spice, no lemongrass, no lime, it was so disappointing and bland. The fresh rolls were 99% rice noodle, with a piece of iceberg lettuce and a super tiny sliver of carrot and cucumber, served with a bottled hoisen sauce and not the typical spicy peanut sauce. So disappointing and I won't bother trying this place again in the future.

I absolutely love this place! The Vietnamese rolls are out of this world. Their Pho soups are a comfort food now including their Tom Yum. The house fried rice is incredible. It’s Thai in a pinch. If you’re looking for Thai in Woodstock, this place will have to do. Basically it’s Thai/Viet food served to a super white audience. The first HALF of the menu is fish and chips and breakfast specials of omelettes and toast. No joke. When I visited the “special” was a Reuben and fries. Also not kidding. Serving sizes are ok. The food ranges from good to flavorless. The experience overall was...ok.

This is my favourite breakfast spot to go to. Always friendly and fast service, and great prices. The restaurant is clean. The owner is amazing and so friendly. Most times we have been in you can see her walking around talking to the guests to make sure everything is okay, and really takes time to recognize her regulars. Overall happy with the service and the place. However, the Pho (what I was hoping to be the new go to for pho) could use a bit more work. It tasted sweet to me and it came out a little colder when it should be burning hot. Also find it odd that you cant order Pho in sizes. Every other Pho place does that. But then again this is more of a fusion canadian-vietnamese. Please please make the Pho better. Can also improve the condiments by adding white pepper shakers too and maybe the go to salt and pepper squid/calamari. I would still come back for the other menu but definitely not Pho unless there are any major change.

Had a great first experience at Binh Thanh. I had to try the Chicken and Beef Pho and spring rolls and they were both so amazing. Full of flavour and texture it was a great first experience. The staff was great and the owner/chef was amazingly sweet and came to check on how we enjoyed it. Prices were reasonable and the menu had a great "Canadian" portion too. These are the small out of the way diner restaurants everyone should go to and support.

New location looks nice. Service is terrible. Several staff around the front desk. LOTS of empty seats. We stood at the front desk for 10 minutes waiting for someone to stop and take us to a table. Finally sat at a table. Another couple came in AFTER us and were served FIRST. We stood up and left. While we were there not one waitress asked us anything. The waitress didn't take our drink order. She didn't say she'll be with us in 5 minutes. Nothing. Terrible service.

We (my family and friends) recently made the switch from Tillsonburg's Pho VN to here. Our first impression was great. The flavour, the owner's interactions, etc. Shortly after our 2nd visit we began to experience major flaws in service and it has just gotten worst from there. We made several more visits to give this establishment the benefit of a doubt to no avail. We've had enough. Said service is just so bad and in some cases, appalling. I do hope Binh, the owner (wonderful lady) will take this area of her business much more seriously and have her staff properly trained and vetted.

We have gone there for breakfast and really enjoyed the food and service so we thought we would try it for dinner. Sadly, the experience wasn't the same. We ordered the Vietnamese and very extremely disappointed. The Pad Thai tasted like it was pre-mad from a can, the vegetables in the rolls were soggy, and the sauce tasted very similar to what we get a Zehrs.

Please keep in mind that this restaurant is supposedly Canadian-Vietnamese. I'm not sure if that means that the Canadian foods have a Vietnamese twist and vice versa like a fusion restaurant or if it just means that it contains canadian and vietnamese food. Our experience here was not the greatest. The staff was nice enough, the establishment was nice, the food however... Was not what we expected. As Woodstock had an abundance of Canadian/American/Western Foods we came for the Vietnamese food. Specifically the pho. It wasn't bad...but it did taste like the instant pho that you can get from a grocery store. The fresh rolls were 85% vermicelli, 10% rice paper and 5 percent vegetables. While I got the pho my partner got the pad thai and it tasted very tomato saucy... They went as far as to say ketchupy. I understand there aren't very many pho restaurants in the area and people seem to like this restaurants pho based on the reviews. However if you like me have had tasted a variety of pho from other restaurants in different cities maybe this is not the pho for you.

My girlfriend and I visited this place with her grandparents. The Pho was excellent and the atmosphere endearing. After enjoying our meal the chef came out and happened to give us orange slices for desert - free of charge.

Not sure about the owner ,but was there last night at dinner time .Got seated and we were there for over 10 minutes with no attendant came to our table to take order for our drink .at the time customers came in right after us and was greeted and served right away. While we were still waiting. The waitresses up front total ignore us .so we left. So not cool bad service. Will not go back there.

Just extremely disappointed with the food and service here. I don't want to be too harsh but I definitely won't eat it again. (Pho had this strong cinnamon flavor and overcooked noodles) (Pad Thai, tasted more like ketchup than anything). Maybe some would like that?

Food & service are always topnotch. It was disturbing to have been seated without any check of our vaccination status. We then noticed several different incidents of people walking through the restaurant without masks. None were challenged by wait staff. We will eat there again but not until their covid procedures are stricter.

Fine dining it is not, and the place is old, But it Is CLEAN, and well kept, and the Food is GOOOD! ???? Wonderful breakfasts. Both Canadian & Vietnamese food served. Prices are very reasonable and the food is good. Good Fish ''n Chips also. Very worth checking out! Food is EXCELLENT! The service is NOT. In the beginning, I could have given this a 5, the food had always been good and the service was too. There seems to be A LOT of turn-over. I never see my favorite waitress anymore and there's new ones each week. Whenever I see that the young man (who I assume is related to the owner) working, I know the service will be bad. Zero customer service skills, doesn't check-in during the meal and talks very condescending towards you. His body language is also uninviting (hunched in a booth). Like he wants you to hurry up so he can go home. The owner is incredibly nice and friendly! I'm not sure why they go through waitresses so fast. If it wasn't for the amazing Pad Thai, I don't think I'd go back. I used to go often, sometimes twice a week, now maybe twice a month.

Just had another wonderful meal at this restaurant. We have been frequenting this restaurant for a few years and have yet to be disappointed. The spring rolls are the best we have ever tasted , and so is the pho. The owner is a very nice lady who loves to come out and connect with her customers, she always has a smile and takes extreme pride in her cooking. The staff is friendly and eager to please. This is the best restaurant in Woodstock and surrounding area by far.

My wife and I order takeout from Binh Thanh on a frequent basis. I can say with absolute certainty, that we have not been disappointed once. I have had the opportunity speak with Chef Binh Longtin on multiple occasions. From these discussions, I detect a strong sense of commitment to quality and freshness in every meal that is prepared in her kitchen. My work takes me all over Canada, so I eat at restaurants on a frequent basis. I can honestly say that this is the best Vietnamese restaurant I have eaten at. I personally love the vermicelli. Our favorite order is 608C with a large order of 107. Give Binh Thanh a chance and you will not regret it.

The food and the staff make this place a great dining experience. The soups are my favorite! You can’t find another restaurant where the soup broth takes 13 hours to make! No shortcuts are taken. The food is tremendous and delicious. Worth taking a drive to go for a meal. Very healthy menu!
