Not sure whether this is still Tuxedo Village, or Monstrosity Burgers... the bun seemed stale, and dry. The large size (half pound patty) left me full in the stomach, but not satisfied on the tongue. A bit overcooked and a tad under seasoned. My fries were cooked proper and seasoned lightly. The onions rings were soggy, and bland. It's not bad, but there are other burger joints in Winnipeg that are more-so worth your time.

Cannot figure out whether it's the mediocre food or the owners' blatantly bigoted views that make this place so terrible. At one time it was a hub of the tuxedo community, so sad. Once the few folks that choose to support the business because their views align with the bigoted ownership inevitably taper off I look forward to seeing the For Lease sign show up.

Great menu with lots of choice. They also include a keto menu for those enjoying a low carb or keto lifestyle. The keto options were good, loved the nanaimo bar! Only downside to our visit was being seated right by the washroom entrance despite many other tables being available, felt like we were being hidden away in a high traffic area. I would suggest removing that table completely it is poorly placed. Otherwise the service was great.

It was not full of patrons when I was seated, but by the time I left there weren't many empty seats. I have no clue why. The service was indifferent at best. I do not recall a meal at these price points where I was not checked with after receiving my food, and my empty plate was taken by the new owner. She never made a sound. That makes zero sense to me. The food was pretty ordinary, though to be fair it was just one meal. It seems to me that this business is setting up as direct competition to Taverna Rodos, and at this point there is no reason to choose it over Taverna. I do not see myself returning, and I am glad I was a solo diner today.

I was driving around to look for snow sculpture and saw the sign, monstrosity burger. After looking at the menu, an actual burger with that name. It was an quick take out,but after going to the car,I left my keys inside and went back to eat it inside. I took a bold task of finishing best of what I can . The largest burger I've tasted quite good,may have too much bread. I thanked the staff for letting me dine and wait for my rescue keys.

Have not been here in a long while but went tonight. Food is as good as ever. Big portions. Bring an appetite. The Greek lemon chicken soup is very tangy great flavour. Love their club house sandwich. So good. Real turkey and not skimpy at all. The waitress was good. Not as friendly as some of the others but she was not bad at all. Will be going back again. Those that have not gone need to check this place out. A true gem.

Lots of family and friends have said they really enjoyed their food before the COVID fiasco !!! My Aunt always went their before the insanity and raved about their food. Although we don’t eat out often and don’t live in the area, we will definitely be checking it out. Their morals and solidarity is by far the best and most tasteful in the local restaurant industry !!! Can’t wait to try the food.

The quality has gone down a lot since the last time we came. The lemon soup used to be out of this world... Now it just tastes like Chicken noodle. The gyro we had had barely any tzatziki sauce and it seemed like it had less meat as well. We were in a group 9 and it was the same for every one. I used to say that this was the best Greek restaurant in Winnipeg but can no longer say that.

Excellent food and so many choices for those on a low carb diet. Great portion sizes for what you pay as well. Please give this restaurant a try! There's something on the menu for everyone. I had the Gyro/Minestrone Soup/Salad. My daughter had the Chicken Wrap/Minestrone Soup/Caesar Salad. The portions were great, service was more than fine. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The small issue I had was I expected a slight bit more meat on my Gyro, but I would have to admit that the value was there and the taste was excellent. 4 stars only because I wanted two more peices of meat. I would absolutely recommend as I know that you will not be disappointed as I wasn't.

My family and I really enjoyed this restaurant! The food was excellent, the service was very good, and it had a nice atmosphere! My wife and I are on Keto and their Keto menu is awesome! They even had a delicious dessert! It was nice to go to a restaurant where we didn't have to change a bunch of it and to make it Keto. My mom ordered off the regular menu and thought the meal was excellent! All around we had a great dinner and will definitely be going back.

First time I've tried this place for a late lunch. I ordered a Reuben with fries and salad. The fries were absolutely excellent the Greek salad was very nice and the Reuben was really good although a bit surprising because they use a mixture of mozzarella and cheddar. The restaurant was empty and the service was still good. I would definitely come again and I would recommend this place to anybody that wanted great Greek food.

Best clubhouse in Winnipeg!!! I go here at least 3 or 4 times a week to get their clubhouse because its one of the only places left in the city that still makes a traditional triple decker clubhouse with turkey. Ive never had dry turkey there and you can specify dark meat or light meat and white, rye or whole wheat bread. I take my friends here to introduce them to real clubhouse sandwiches if they tell me they don't like clubhouses lol :)

First time visit, it is a very busy restaurant. Food portion is good . The taste is slight blend, but if you are looking for a healthy meal, they can surely satisfy you. Service is quite good for a busy weekend evening. Server would go extra miles to make you feel welcome. I would recommend that.

This restaurant is under new management and will not honour gift certificates purchased from previous owners. Menu has changed. Food not up to previous quality. Won’t go back. Disappointed Update to owners reply I wrote this on behalf of my mother who is 88, and her husband who is 90, as they don’t have a computer. There is no expiry date on gift cards. It is the same restaurant. Only change in ownership. Please refer to the Government of Canada website. The gift card was purchased in late December by my son. Not years ago. They are elderly and found this extremely upsetting.

Ordered the deluxe cheeseburger here. Only when it arrived at the table did we realize it was a monster size burger. The menu should at least mention it's a double patty. The burger made a big impact on the plate not such a big impact on the palette. It lacked flavour and was not great.

Love this place! Been there a number of times now. We have dined in, but we often order take out. The food is really good there. I've had a number of dishes there. They always have a regular lemon rice soup and a different soup of the day. That's always nice choice. They have different desserts too from day to day. The prices are good. And the staff is super friendly. We really like this place. I highly recommend.

I have never been so grossed out in my life. Finding mold in your bun is NOT a nice way to enjoy a nice evening out with your husband. Finally get a night out, without the kids, and I chose Tuxedo Village for our night out. What a mistake. I ate half the burger before I noticed. Tuxedo Village Restaurant and Monstrosity Burgers, the Anti-Vaxer’s restaurant. Doing their part in filling up the ICU’s, while critical surgeries for others are put on hold. Also, they’ve been shut down for awhile for ignoring health and safety regulations, so any recent reviews about their food is more BS. What an embarrassment for the neighbourhood.

Above and beyond. Ordered on Skip and the later pickup was sent to them as the next day. They immediately offered to make the large order on the spot and were SO pleasant to work with. Every bit of the meal was amazing - great quality ingredients and huge value for your menu. Made a special meal even more special and the best takeout we've had ever. Also, Keto menu is incredible and worth checking out even for non keto people - I swear I had a whole bundle of fresh perfectly cooked asparagus with my meal and I'll take that over potatoes any day.

Dropped in with a friend of mine for lunch. The server was very personable. She recommended their special which was garlic butter sauteed shrimp on Caesar salad amped up with red pepper, tomatoes and feta cheese all in an edible tortilla bowl. It was amazing! It had been about 8 months since our last visit to Tuxedo Village Family Restaurant. We had tried several times before recently but they were closed. Last Thursday evening, the restaurant was busy enough it seems but I am not entirely sure why. The bill for the 2 of us was about $50. My husband had a hot beef sandwich and I had the Gyro. I had one glass of poor red wine for $8. Yes the food portions were fairly large. My greek side salad was tasty but somewhat overdressed. My huband's caesar salad was drowning in dressing. Then, the small cup that was called minestrone soup was closer to salty diluted tomato paste with a bunch of over cooked orzo. My Gyro was made from the prepared sliced meat that I can fry up in a pan at home. Not the real stuff. The pita bread for my sandwich was also odd in a way. Crispy? Oh well. The service was good. They were nice and attentive. But there are two other greek restaurants with in a few miles. At close to $20 for most of their entrees, and a curious decor out of 1980, we will not be back. When we saw the menu prices I would have rather just left right then but the glass of wine was already there. Live and learn.

I have a hard time rating this place... The food is great and the value is great! But I'm pretty sure I was ripped off, we got our bill and it looked like our waitress charged us twice for taxes? Bills are hand written, so that's always fishy. I was gonna say something but felt like there would be no way they would do that... Then when she took our payment she took the bill, so I can't look over it again or even go back and ask. Only now I'm thinking I really should have asked then. Left me feeling cheated... I'll probably be back because I did enjoy the food, but I'll keep my eye out for shifty business with my bill.
