I was trying to make a reservation for 8 people.I get told that I need to give my credit card over the phone to the people in the restaurant that I have never seen or met. I try to explain to the manager and he says it’s their policy. Trying to go to that place with a big group is not recommended as it is their policy to take your credit card. Not sure what is their policy for credit card theft or how they keep the card numbers or anything of that sort. Very very poor customer service and I am appalled by their policy and the management that makes a policy that can easily cause people trouble by giving their credit card numbers

Very unique dining experience. My brother and I had the all you can eat beef. It was a constant flow of different meats all delicious coming to your table. Everything from chicken to beef to lamb. Even bbq'd pineapple. It was worth every penny. The service was very good, food was excellent and the atmosphere was very pleasant. If you get a chance I would strongly recommend going to Caracalla Brazilian BBQ.

We tried this place for the first time about 5 months ago. It was amazing and the staff are extremely professional and friendly. They were super busy that night (no surprise) and our food took a little longer to come out which was understandable. There's two floors to this place so we were on the first floor and the bartender was always making sure we were doing okay. He offered us on the house glasses of wine because he felt bad that our food was taking so long. Once we received our food it was delicious! It was well worth the wait. He also gave us free dessert. It was wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

If you went there and 3/4 of the table is full. You will starve like what happen to us. they cant handle full capacity vs one grill guy. We all went home starving were like group went there. they will serve you small portion of meat every 5 mins

Went for the first time on their all you can eat dinner - a bit pricey for 1 adult but glad for ladies night price it's a couple dollars cheaper, but overall food was great quality and staff were very friendly and took great care of us throughout our time there. This was our first time at Carnaval, we have been wanting to go for years, and we had such a fantastic experience that we can't wait to go back. Apparently you can order off a regular menu downstairs in the lounge, but we ate upstairs to try the Carnaval experience and were not disappointed! The minute we sat down we were greeted with genuine warmth, and the concept was explained to us. We ordered a few side dishes and within minutes we were presented with numerous main dishes to choose from. Such flavor! Such excellence! We were very very happy and left very very full. A wonderful place to dine.

Tonight was my 5th visit in the last 3 years. Each visit was the all you can eat. To some of the things people are complaining about: Parking is hard to find: Yes I agree, it is. But it's located on waterfront. At the corner of a roundabout. What do you expect? Food is too salty: First time I went they warned us ahead of time that the food is salty. Personally I don't think it's extreme. Maybe a little much but still edible. If you want less salty ask for an inside piece. Food was burnt or overdone: After 5 visits, I have yet to receive burnt meat. Sometimes the doneness is inconsistent. But usually it's sitting around medium doneness. Tonight specifically, Lamb was dry and the flank was very tough. Everything else was good. Arriving 30 minutes before you're reservation and table isn't ready? How does this even make it into a review... What do you expect when you arrive 30 minutes before a reservation! Stupid complaint. Floors are sticky? Completely 100% agree, it's gross and it should be cleaned. Not a deal breaker but it does take away from the experience. Overpriced? Yes, a bit. If they lowered it by about $15 per person (or $10 if the drink wasn't seperate), I think it would be fair. Decor? Yeah, it's cheesy looking, could be better. Again, not a deal breaker. Will you feel bloated and sick after? If you eat way too much way too fast, of course you will ???? you did it to yourself! So, out of 5 visits, at different times on different days of the week. My overall experience has been good and I do recommend this restaurant.

After all the hype we finally go and the very first thing they serve us is sausage with chicken. We cut open the sausage to discover the chicken is raw. When we inquiry as to why the chicken is raw, they quickly apologized and cleaned up our entire table to start again. Now at this point we would have just left but we purchased a group on coupon and didnt want to let that go to waste. At the end of our dinner i asked to speak to the manager about the raw chicken and that person could not even be bothered to come out and talk to me. Instead i get a whole 15% discount. Wow. Barely covers the taxes. May as well have slapped me in the face. Ive been in retail and customer service for over 20 years and i dont know why a manager wouldnt come to talk to any customer at any point in time when requested. But apparently a phone call was more important at 820pm on a Friday than customers who were being served raw chicken. Customers are the most important part of any retail service and hospitality industry. But instead we get nothing. Why wasnt the manager out there as soon as the raw chicken was served? Instead they just clean it all up like nothing happened and start us again. We will never go to this place again and definitely recommend cutting all meat, especially anything with chicken in it first before eating.

I’ve been to this place a couple times, you never really want to go more than once every couple years. It’s about $60, if you have a party of eight or more, they add on an 18% gratuity. All the meat dishes are fairly tasty however they are extremely salty. Ask for an inside part of the meat, do not get an outside piece. The sides are OK, they are fairly basic, so you’re really just paying for a bunch of meat. The service was OK, considering we had a party of 10, our waitress hardky came around to check on us for sides or drinks, the service from the meat portion of the meal was excellent. Honestly if you’ve never been, maybe go, I would suggest going with a group of four at least so you can have a few different sides.

Great place! We're from south of Brazil and what they do at Carnaval is really the brazilian barbecue, the "churrasco gaúcho" (similar to Uruguayan or Argentinian barbecue as well). Staff are really friendly and helpful. I went there to lunch in a Friday during summer and the place had some people and it was fine, the staff kept the good variety of meats, chickens, and sausages. You can also order as many sides as you want, including salads, some typical Brazilian food, or fries for example. A great selection for the price. And for the ones who are complaining that the the meat is salty, 1st: you should clear your taste (both for salt and cooking point). 2nd: sorry but, it is what it is. Just compare it to spicy food, everyone has their tolerance for it. I don't like really spiced food, so I don't go at places that are spicy. Simple as that. I would only recommend to have more staff to serve the barbecue. Also, having a regular sausage, instead of only having the spicy one. Same for the pork, to have a regular one without the "barbecue sauce" (which we actually don't have on the "churrasco", we use only rocky salt). Appart from those, you folks gained a loyal "gaúcha" family as customers. We'll certainly going to take some Canadians and other people to taste our unique barbecue.

Overpriced and with an experience that leaves you underwhelmed. 140 bucks for a meat buffet for 2 is not my idea of a good time especially when you are made to wait for the servers to bring you a single drumstick after 10 minutes of sipping water

Delicious! Well worth the price. The staff are all extremely friendly and so well coordinated on their timing, helping each other out, etc. The food is obviously the best part though. The meat is some of the best i've ever had - i will 100% be back. Numerous times. Everything is slow cooked and beautiful. The side dishes are great too but dont fill up on it!

Very pricey but you can eat as much as you want so be sure to not eat all day before going... and remember you can always puke and rally in the bathroom! Some of the best steaks I've ever had, great chicken and pork too... The lamb was meh but maybe it's just not my thing. Make sure to save room for some delicious roasted pineapple desert (you have to ask for it). Drinks are pretty good but pricey Service is excellent and very friendly! I attached some ugly pictures that don't really show anything at all :)

When to have the Burger Week Burger in the lounge today. It was a burger made with steak tips rather than an actual burger patty and it was absolutely delicious it had beautiful French fries to go with it and it's one of the top burgers of 2019 in my opinion

Excellent variety of meats, but beef was usually overcooked in my opinion, making it dry and tough. The sides are nice but nothing special, except the cheese bread balls. Go for the fun, social atmosphere, but don't expect the best food you can find in Winnipeg.

Great staff, they made the experience fun. The food is amazing, keeps coming and coming. Abidance is ok, thought it might be a bit fancier but was ok. Cost is expensive. If you do all you can eat with drinks, expect $100 per person. Would go back again. Really enjoyed.

The food was good; the service was very poor. Because we were a party of 8 we were charged an 18% gratuity. We had to ask for water after the first fill, we had to ask for pineapple, the meat servers would ask at 1 end of the table, 1 side then walk down to the other end of the table and walk away - half of the table missed the service if we were engaged in a conversation. The waitress might have had too many tables, which would not have been her fault; regardless, we had to wait too long and ask twice for additional side dishes. Would have returned for the food, but with the poor service we won't be back!

There have been times when we were there and the food was either over salted, or dry and overcooked. Today thpugh, it was perfect. Everything was delicious. Only issue is they ran out of cassava, so we couldn't get our favourite side dish. Once again, a great place to spend time with good friends.

This place is good if you or your dining partner(s) are on the keto diet because everyone can choose from a variety of meats and sides. If you have high blood pressure, beware: the meats are very salty. The servers were attentive and accommodating and the cocktails were tasty. It's a nice dining room with a view of the enormous grill.

Half rack of ribs. Included fries or salad. House salad vinaigrette dressing was good. Ribs were ok, prefer more tender than what was served. Pasta dish with cream sauce was blend. Added chicken and shrimp as a side. The red cheese cake did not replicate the cake photo on the menu. The lava cake lacked the chocolate explosion. Spent 117. Included two beer & a glass of wine. Server was very good. Ate in the lounge area since the upstairs dining is only for the fixed-price menu of unlimited meats carved at the table.

Got the groupon coupon, and the meats are good, it is interesting that you can flip the card shows if you want a break or continue their service. The cook will come to your table to cut it for you, instead of walking to the serving table, which is great. Great restaurant and will return next time when I get the coupon again.

No where on the website does it say it's not available every weekday. Our server said we had to eat in the lounge. Save your money and don't support this place.

The food was very tasty, but it was not worth the price that I paid per person. We did not feel like the amount we ate had equaled to the amount that we paid. The portions of meat were a bit small, which is understandable for all-you-can-eat Brazilian churrasco (barbecue), but I've had bigger portions of meat for cheaper at other similar restaurants. Side-street meter parking was a bit difficult, too, because it was a busy street and restaurant. Atmosphere was nice, but crowded and loud.

I've eaten in many expensive restaurants but this was by far the worse. We kept asking for well done meat but kept getting medium rare. Everything was too salty. I ended up not able to eat much cos I got a tummy ache while there and omg the washroom was gross and stinky. The only thing I kinda enjoyed was the pao de queijo. To make it worse, my party was forced to pay additional tip over $100. I expected more from a rodizio but I got disappointed. I wont be going back there. I wouldn't have regrets if I spent all that money and had a great experience.

Carnivores Rejoice! Took my father and brother here while they were in town for a wedding. Rave reviews came from these two after this experience, and will now it will always be a stop whenever they're in town. Servers were friendly and knowledgable, made good suggestions and were very quick to fix an error made on my brothers drink order. Had no room for dessert, but it looked great from what was seen going to other tables. If you love eating meat, you should definitely eat here.

Went with a friend last night and had high expectations. Location was interesting however an inconveinence for parking. Everything tasted the same, extremely salty and was the main reason why we stopped eating. Cooks are careless with cross contamination. The gloves you handle raw meat is the same gloves you handle cooked meat. Wasnt hungry after seeing that. However, amazing servers and excellent side dishes.

I have taken a few days to reflect on how truly poor this meal was. Underwhelming and overcooked would be two words that come to mind. Awful cuts of meat and obscenely slow service. Yet somehow, the staff seemed very attentive with the low-cost sides. The sides looked like they had been prepared in a junior high cafeteria circa 1992. No idea how this location gets the reviews that it does. All other guests agreed.

Went for the all you can eat buffet on a Tuesday. Service: Our server was completely inattentive to the point we had to ask the other areas server for assistance until ours came over. She never came back to ask us for drinks, she wasn't removing the plates/bowls that were piling up, she wasn't refilling our waters. We were constantly having to wave employees down to get anything that would resemble a waited table. Food: The buffet meats were all overly chewy or dry with the exception of the prime rib. The bacon wrapped meat morsels were so small there was little point to them. May as well have just given us bacon. The vegetables were bland. I only enjoyed the bread the served at the start. What a waste of time and money. I will never be going back and will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Go to Hermano's if you want a good Brazillian steak. You'll leave just as full, will spend the same but will leave on a positive note.

What a disappointing experience! We had waited a long time to experience the outdoor patio. It was a perfect June 30 evening. We arrived at Carnaval at 7:55. We anticipated sitting on the patio with a beverage, and appetizers. Unfortunately we were told the kitchen closed at 7:30. We had looked on line before coming downtown. The menu etc indicated that the venue was open til late. It appeared that the lounge was open til late. We had just paid $6.00 for parking at the indigo lot. We had been waiting for the perfect night to enjoy your patio The staff at the restaurant told us we could only get drinks. The kitchen was closed. It did not say anything on the website. To say the least we were extremely disappointed. Fortunately we found a little Argentinian gem up the street. Corientes.

Carnaval Brazilian BBQ offers tasty authentic food from Brazil as well as a great selection of cocktails and wines. Sitting on the patio in the summer is really relaxing as you can observe the quiet neighbourhood around you. Staff is dynamic, friendly and helpful. The only disadvantage is that the kitchen closes rather early as others have pointed out, so you should make sure to arrive early.

Great atmosphere and we found it to be a better experience going as a group (two couples) instead of just my wife and I (we had gone a couple years ago just the two of us). Pacing yourself is key. It took an hour for all the different meats cycle through. The meats were hot, fresh, and juicy and the sides were amazing. Our favorite sides were the breaded cheese balls, garlic bread, and roasted pineapple.

Was there with a large group in December. Was looking very much forward to going. The food was ok, perhaps my expectations were too high based on reviews. They must have had a window open cause I had to sit cross legged on the chair and wear my touque and jacket all night. The table of men beside us were complaining to the staff about the temperature as well and were also eating in touques and jackets. Nothing came warm to our table since we were all shivering. The wind was blowing on me all night. At the end of the night I used the rest room and wished I had eaten in there it was so warm. Helpful hint is that patios are closed in Winnipeg in winter because it is too cold to eat outside.

Really nice place, on waterfront by the roundabout with the Scottish settlers statue. We were there during mid week for lunch and it was not very busy. Had onion ring appetizer, very healthy portion, as was the entrees later. Service was fast and friendly, the food was really good. I took the fries option with my lunch, and had to take them home 'cause there was no way I could eat that much. (They went well with eggs for breakfast the next day) The main dinning room was closed for lunch so lunch was in the bar, the high chairs were not uncomfortable once you were in them, but I found getting out of them took care.

Amazing food! No complaints on taste or quality as it was all delicious but at almost $60 after taxes I don't know how often I would come back -if at all. After about 4 rounds of meat I was full and I purposely didn't eat that much that day just so I could save room. Definetly worth trying at least once bùt as someone who can't eat a whole cow in one sitting I almost would rather go to a steakhouse and pay $35 for a meal I can actually take home and snack on later. If you can eat a lot in one sitting than this is the place for you ????

Our server asked if we wanted anything in particular from the grill...we asked for some more roasted pineapple, and they brought an entire platter right to the table within minutes. Probably one of the worst meals I've had. The place has little ambience, it feels like a cafeteria. The meat is awful and all tastes the same. Its very low grade quality. Mostly fat, drumsticks come around often. Chicken breast wrapped in bacon is a tic tac size of chicken wrapped in bacon fat. All of your fat, skin and bones go onto a plate in the middle of your table for you to enjoy looking at while eating . You also get to dish out your sides/salads onto the same plates as your main plate with blood from your meats. Not worth 55 dollars. Server was friendly.

Had an appoint before 8 and was made to wait for more than half an hour and when I decided to tell the gentleman on the door that I had an appointment at 8, he disrespectfully told me there were people here before me and that I could cancel the reservation if I wanted. Took my wife out for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we had a reservation for 8:30 PM. We arrived 15 minutes early and no one was at the front desk. Sign says wait to be served. After a few minutes of waiting we flagged down a waiter who said we would let the hostess know. So hostess shows up and tells us there is no table available even though it's after 8:30 and we have a reservation. Anyway most of the meat was good. I tried several of the Brazilian sides but several of them are covered in this Brazilian vinaigrette. I guess it's an acquired taste. I got through about a third of these dishes before calling it quits. My wife's garlic mashed potatoes were ruined by so much garlic that one bite was all we could handle. They don't have fountain drinks, but instead have these cute tiny bottles of Coke at 3 bucks a piece. I ordered their signature drink and told them either no ice or very little as I have sensitive teeth. It came in an actual hollowed out pineapple completely full of ice. They have over a dozen meats available, but you don't order them. Instead you have a cardboard coin which you flip green side up if you want them to offer more meat or red if you have had enough meat. You turn it to the desired colour as you see fit. So you sit there and different guys walk around with these giant skewers and a large knife and cut slices off for you. There is no rhyme nor reason as to what meat shows up next at your table. I could go on for chapters on the good and bad but we went for the unique experience and did enjoy ourselves to a certain degree. Whether we will return to this place remains to be seen. It was nice to try something different and this place did deliver in regards to that.

The restaurant itself is very nice: spacious, tastefully decorated, and staffed by very attentive and capable people. Parking can be a challenge in that part of town. You only have two choices, $3.00 per hour in an IMPark lot or free on the street, but only if you can find a spot- and empty spots are rare. The food, particularly the side dishes, is spectacularly tasty. They serve probably the best garlic mashed potatoes I've had and the black bean sausage stew is fantastic. But decor and parking and potatoes are not what Carnavale is about. This place is for meat lovers! Sit for an hour and you'll be offered a dozen different types of delicious barbequed meat. Beef sirloin, chicken thighs, pork ribs, leg of lamb, chorizo sausage, tri-tip steak, bacon wrapped beef tenderloin, prime rib... it just keeps coming and coming and it is delicious! The only reason this is not a five-star review is that the meat is all VERY salty.

Came out for a date night and decided to try something new. Everything was amazing from the moment we walked in and were greeted to the hostess sitting us. Then the fun begins. Our server Devon was very helpful and friendly being our first time. Explained everything very clear and walked us threw each step. Then, bring on the food. We got to try a whole lot of different things that we otherwise would not be able to try. Some were a big hit while others we would just stay away from next visit (only due to personal choice. Tasted good though). From the cook who is always watching and taking care of the meat as it cooks to the gentlemen that brought it to our table, were great. They made sure we had enough of the meats we loved and made sure we got to try everything. We would highly recommend this restaurant and come hungry. Just make sure to leave enough room for dessert. Our red velvet cheesecake was so good we could not even get a pic of it.

This was are second visit here this time we came with friends. First visit was 2 years ago and it was ok , we had found that some of the sides were off in taste and flavor. Service was average as well. Well tonights visit was amazing the food was full of flavour, the meat was cooked to perfection and the service was top notch. Our waitress tonight was Luciana and I fell its important to mention her, was truly amazing she carefully watched her tables and if you looked like you needed something she was right there with no delay. There was no waiting for another drink or to be served. I strongly feel that great food is one thing but to be able to back it up with service like she did tonight made the experience perfect. To the staff, keep it up your setting new standards.

Now I can say I have eaten Cassava root. The cocktails were perfect - Mojitos - fresh mint and FRIGID! Ordered a burger from Le Burger Week for takeout. When I arrived to pick up, at the confirmed time, the hostess was on the phone booking a big party. I get it, you need someone to answer calls... But it took about 10+ minutes for another server to bring my order. Maybe have a manager in an office deal with booking your big clients so your hostess can manage the door, or have your hostess get a server to cover for her at the door... Just a thought? The burger itself was so so; I didn't find it memorable.

Me and my husband went there on 9th April 2021 (Friday) night. We have been to Carnaval a couple of times and it has always been a great experience! However, this time we had the worst experience ever. The meat was very salty and it didn’t taste good. The Pork ribs were awful and the chicken didn’t taste good either, we were not given all the meat items on the menu. We ordered salad, soup and roasted vegies as sides, the salad was okay but the vegie soup was terrible. All it had was potato cubes and one or two carrot cubes. Roasted vegies came in an extremely tiny dish and it was hardly a tablespoon full. When requested for more vegies, they said they’ve run out of it. This was around 8PM and the restaurant was open till 10PM. The servers were friendly but the food was extremely terrible. If they keep it up like this, they’ll lose customers for sure.

I booked what I thought was a large party of 10 people and I thought that would give us a better experience than when I went with just my wife. I gotta say the food is good but that's where it ends. The guys that come to your table seem to care about talking to groups of women. I feel like we were on the side of the restaurant that they just don't care much about. Drinks took forever and even though we had a vegetarian in our group apparently we had to pre-register that person so they had to pay full price? That's not mentioned anywhere ever. If you like meat, go to Famous Dave's. The service is better and for those that don't like salt, they won't like Carnaval. It's fine for me, but half our party found the food way over salted.

If you`re a hungry carnivore, then this is the dinner place for you! Tons of meat selections that are brought and carved at your table. Lots of sides to choose from. Did find the food quite salty, but the accompanying drinks were delightful! You need to try the one in the pineapple. The price for the dinner all you can eat is a little steep, but definitely an experience you should have if you`re going anyway. There is a separate menu for downstairs that includes individual items.

I had the vegetarian option at Carnaval, where you get a main dish of either red sauce pasta or white sauce plus unlimited sides (love the idea) We had quite a bit of sides and I think sadly the best ones were probably the French fries, the mashed potatoes would have been good if they came warmed up. The red sauce pasta was not good, the white sauce was better but still nothing to rave about. I can’t speak on the behalf of meat eaters but I did not enjoy the veggie option here it was very bland and boring, it is extremely expensive here and not worth it in my opinion. Would like to see tastier sides, the waitress also seemed like she did not want to serve us, not the friendliest. The servers that brought meat around were amazing though, so friendly polite and always smiling. Was expecting more from a $500 family dinner unfortunately.

My Husband and I decided to try out a new place since we were kidless for an evening and did we ever indulge. $52.75 per person sounded crazy but let me tell you it was worth every penny!! Went for our company dinner. Well...Long story short....meat selection was great, but salty and most of the meat was raw...i guess goes well with people who like their meat to be Rare! Im a well done kinda guy... But Chicken and Ribs were delicious but still salty! For a big table you would think they would have assigned us 2 waiters for side dishes and beverages, but instead there was only one waiter! The waiter was clearly overwhelmed but nice.... He forgot beverages for half the table, but we understood why he was overwhelmed! Would i go back again ? Answer is definitely NOT my first choice....almost like one of those places were people may say " Been There...Done That!" Beer...they definitely DO NOT have a good selection or choices of imports and domestic! Mostly Brazilian drinks! If you do go there....beware of very noisy and loud environment!

This was are second visit here this time we came with friends. First visit was 2 years ago and it was ok , we had found that some of the sides were off in taste and flavor. Service was average as well. Well tonights visit was amazing the food was full of flavour, the meat was cooked to perfection and the service was top notch. Our waitress tonight was Luciana and I fell its important to mention her, was truly amazing she carefully watched her tables and if you looked like you needed something she was right there with no delay. There was no waiting for another drink or to be served. I strongly feel that great food is one thing but to be able to back it up with service like she did tonight made the experience perfect. To the staff, keep it up your setting new standards.

Sep212018 - Attended Caranaval. Had reservation for 4 at 6:30 pm but showed up at 6. Table was not ready, shown to the lounge. Everyone but my wife sat as she popped in the ladies room. As soon as my wife left the hostess advised that the table was ready! Went up stairs and everyone was seated, about 45% occupied. Three regular buffets and one vegetarian meals were ordered. Sides didn't appear until 3/4 of the way through service. Vegetarian meal was incorrectly delivered and needed to be returned to be redone. Meat was chewy, fatty and heavily salted, none of the food would entice me back. For thos who cooks on a regular basis the food was poor at best. For charging $250 for four patrons I can not recommend this place. Was a past patron 2-3 years earlier, different experience that has gone off the rails. Beware of this place.

Finally decided to give Carnaval a try for my boyfriend and I’s anniversary, and though they have a great selection of meats they lacked customer service. We weren’t greeted when we walked into the restaurant, instead the hostess just blankly stared at my boyfriend and I. Our server did take the time to explain the “experience” as it was our first time there, but failed to ask if we wanted any drink refills or if our side items were okay - which most of the items we ordered were missing. We went on a Friday night and surprisingly it wasn’t as busy as we expected so we were very confused by the service we received. Otherwise the meats were well seasoned and tasty. Our favourite of the night was the Picanha (sirloin cap). It was so juicy & tender! And the sangria was dangerously delicious. Could be 5 stars if they worked on better customer service.

I went to Carnaval for burger week. While the food tasted great, the cleanliness and service was terrible. I was with a group of 7. We started our dining experience outside, but the wasps were too intrusive and we getting very slow service outside, so we moved inside. We found a table big enough for us and asked our server if we could move there. He told us we could. The table was covered in crumbs and glasses from the previous patrons. We assumed he would clean the table off for us. After waiting quite some time for our table to be cleaned, I saw our server wrapping cutlery. I approached him and asked if he could please clean our table. He came over and wiped my spot at the table as well as one person sitting beside me. He left the rest of the table dirty and all the dirty glasses from the previous patrons were still on the table. Aside from this, it took a very long time for our burgers to be made, especially considering that they were a special for the week.

We had really high expectations for this place and we're super excited to finally go. First we definitely expected a more formal and romantic atmosphere. Dimmer lights and darker furniture. It actually seems quite casual. We didn't realized they would close at 9pm so that didn't leave us a lot of time which I guess was our bad. So really you should go no later than 6pm on a weeknight. The meat disappointed. I was expecting there to be a lot of raw meat that they throw on a grill and then come around with. But instead it seems like it's all just being kept warm on the grill for hours, so most meat was actually quite dry. They struggled to find us anything medium rare. Chicken thighs, chicken sausage, chorizo, pork, and two types of beef that tasted identical, so really no fancy meat cuts. Therefore $60/person without a drink seems ridiculous for what you get. You are better off just going to a steak house and having good steak there The sides we tried though we're actually super delicious. And the staff were super friendly. Would I go back or recommend it to anyone, definitely not.

If you are looking for an all you can eat Brazilian Steakhouse experience this may be for you. My most recent visit however left some things to be desired. Service was mixed, no shortage of meat came by the table, however the sides were slow to arrive and the quality was relatively poor (admittedly you’re probably not going to come here for the sides). The biggest complaint came down to the cleanliness and temperature. It was a warm day and while I’m sure there’s some challenges keeping the space cool with the large grill however the experience was uncomfortably warm. The next issue was the cleanliness, everything from waters spots on the wine glasses to cutlery, but the biggest worry was the floors, the staircase to the upper level which I believe is carpet was actually sticky to the point your shoes made noise sticking to the surface. Not a lot different in the dining room upstairs. For the price I’d expect better sides, service and a clean restaurant.

I'm not sure why this mattered when the restaurant was not even at 50% capacity. I don't eat beef, so naturally going to a Brazilian BBQ would limit my options, however this was not the case at Carnaval. There are enough varieties of chicken, pork and lamb available. The pork chops were amazing.

We had a birthday event. The service was soso as the lady was confused and food was good. We ordered some drink and the lady brought wrong order( different than waht we ordered). I explained again and she made a mistake again. Then she said she will go and bring the right ones which she did. When we were paying, I relaized that she had charged all the drinks including all the wrong ones( almost $150). I didn't say anything or complain as we were a larger group and mistake can happen. After we paid and left, I realized they have charge me over $200 by mistake( tip was separate). I called them 4 times( 2 times left message and twice talked to a person) and I was promissed that manager or owner will call me in 24-48 hours. 2 weeks later still nobody bothered to call and I decided to write this review. I believe the only thing they don't care are costumers as if they did, they would have called me to explain and refund.

My husband and I came here for our 1st anniversary dinner a few weeks ago and it was beyond amazing. We received great service from everybody we encountered. Every time the servers came by, if they had a type of meat we didn't want, they would ask us if there was a different type we wanted to try and they would make sure it found its way to us. The sides were really good, we got FRESH fries, mashed potatoes, and a caesar salad (we shared them), and they were all to die for, especially the salad! Drinks were good! THE MEAT. Okay. I don't know anything about actual Brazilian food, so I can't tell you if it is "authentic", but it is all, reaalllyy good. There was only one piece of meat I didn't like, but that's okay! We didn't plan on eating as much as we did.. but my god it was so worth it. It was also our anniversary, so they gave us a free piece of cheesecake! So that was adorable. It even came out with a little sparkler on it. Super cute. We will absolutely be back. It was worth every penny for the experience for us.

Finding parking on a Friday evening was a nightmare. The meat was nicely cooked. The meat servers were always coming by to offer more meat. The waitress we had to take our drink order or sides order was hardly around. The drinks order got messed up, while my friend got them to take her cesar back as it tasted off. It is a bit too $$$$ in my opinion. My husband and my bill was for 2 dinners, 4 drinks and 2 desserts with an automatic 18% gratuity (for party's of 8+) was $213. And I don't believe this is the norm for this restaurant, but I had food poisoning from something I ate there.

I was a little disappointed/confused. I am a pescitarian so I chose the vegetarian buffet option (which costs about half the price of the meat buffet) We could order any sides we wanted but the confusing part was that as part of the vegetarian option we got an enormous bowl of this nasty pasta dish with grilled peppers, tomato sauce and spaghetti (literally all things I do not like). This bowl could probably feed a family of 3 comfortably but bf and I got were given one bowl each. The sides were ok but not amazing. I was expecting more from their caesar salad than processed croutons and cheese. Their fries and aioli were both from a package. Most things were packaged which was incredibly disappointing. Family enjoyed their meat though so I guess if you don't eat meat don't bother coming here.

Nice and popular restaurant, tasty meat. If I'm not mistaken 5-6 kinds of meat to choose from. I would say it is a bit expensive and overpriced, especially dinner: lunch is 25/person, dinner is 50/person. Anyway it was a good experience. One word about parking around this place- it is very tough. There are a lot of parkings around but theirs work hours are very weird. Winnipeg is not a big city to have such kind of problems with a parking. I would say it would be nice if restaurant could recommend some parking around.

I ordered a very customized order and Angie, a lovely lady, served me as if they had just opened. Honestly, I was not price oriented, I just really wanted a taste from home. As I ate my Picanha with a Feijoada side, I was choked up. It tasted and reminded me exactly like the food from home. After my bill was served to me, I discovered that Angie is the owner and what a wonderful humbling woman she is. My bill was no more than the actual Picanha dish itself. I was STUNNED. I was not expecting that, but as a good host, Angie noticed and served me exactly what I needed: comfort. I cannot help but leave here my sincere appreciation for this little moment. Went on a Sunday for dinner. Full disclosure: All-you-can-eat isn’t really my style. The servers all do a good job of making sure you are taken care of. The meat was pretty good, but i also found some of the cuts a bit tough. The sides were good but nothing special, but most people are there for the meat anyways. Finally got to experience carnival lastnight which i thought would have been a better experience. All you can eat meat yes was fantastic the servers with the meat were great my plate was always full however our actual server was ridiculous. Ive been un the restaurant industry practically all my life i know how it is when a place is busy but thats why they hire help as you would call busers! So theres 4 of us at the table we order wine figured out our sides as were eating the meat already probly 15 minutes later we finally see her and yet doesnt have our bottle of wine so we ask for it as she says yes it took me a while to find it as she came back 2 minutes later with it and finally we get to order our sides. After our second bottle of wine we had asked for ice for our water as we were finishing up she says sure 10 minutes later still nothing as shes standing in a circle of servers chatting. So thank u to the bus girl who got us the ice water cleared our plates took a picture of our table and even sold us into some dessert. So 2 bottles of wine at 40 bucks a pop 4 plates at 52.75 each thats quite the high bill plus a tip which im not sure what he left or who it goes to but i hope not much to our server as bad as it sounds like i said i know how it is in the industry but i get better service at mcdonalds on a 20 dollar bill and no service for over a 300 dollar bill. Service is everything in the industry and pricey establishments need to be top service. Get better training.

Great meats cuts. Lamb was phenomenal. Service is prompt and nice. Negatives: 1) smaller than other carnivals around the county and so the salad bar is not an open buffet but rather by order 2) no parking is excusless for a min of 60$/person fee including taxes 3) most cuts were super salty. And that's coming from someone who worships salt. 4) meat is rarely hot. Was usually cool/warm at best.

Carnaval was amazing; if you haven't been to this type of restaurant before, the theme is that it's a barbecue, all sorts of meat, and it keeps coming out on skewers. You have a little sign that you can flip over to say when you've had enough or if you're happy for it to keep coming. The meat is really all kinds, you've got sausages, chicken breast, wings, different types of steaks, and so on. There ARE vegetables, but they're obviously not the highlight and I don't even remember what they are or if they're free (they've been free in other similar places I've been to). The only downside for me is that the meat tends to come out medium rare, and occasionally rare. That is, still bleeding. I prefer my meat well done, and fortunately you can request for a well done skewer to be brought to your table. The service is good too, nice and friendly. It's not as prompt as I would like, and if a skewer runs out of meat before they get to your table then it's an even longer wait, but other cuts of meat are in circulation so you should have something to occupy you in the meantime. If you're a meat lover I cannot recommend this enough, you will not be disappointed. Absolutely not for vegetarians!

First time at Carnaval. I expected more .When this place first open it was a place to go. Well I was not impressed at all. First we where greet then sent up a allot of stairs. First thing you notice going up the stairs and on the second floor it the carpet is very sticky. You can feel and hear your feet stick to the carpet! Yikes that felt disgusting. Then we found out we should be the main floor bar where they serve food with a different menu downstairs. We where greeted by Dennis the bartender and server( great job Dennis). We came in and sat down with our shoes still sticky. Dennis took our order and wipe down our table as it was sticky also. We ordered the half rack of ribs and fries. When the food arrived it was hot and served on the best I can described as a cutting board that was well worn. The Cutlery was clean as so where are glasses we drank out of. There is plenty of meat on the ribs but I found the sauce was not to my liking. Ribs came with fries which I can best described as looking and tasting like McDonald fries. This review is my opinion only and I suggest that you go to this restaurant and make your own review.

I would rate this at 6 stars out of 5. I was impressed that I had a very fulfilling lunch despite of their eat-all-you-can steak. I thought it will be a typical buffet but I was wrong! They have pleasant staffs who keep on going to each table, offering steak to customers. Definitely will come back here despite of the hassle in parking. Restaurant cannot do something about the parking since it is located in downtown. The steak & the experience are simply phenomenal❤❤❤

It was an awesome dining experience and delicious food until the next morning where both I and my gf spent the next 2 days rushing to the washroom every 30 mins to get violently sick. Definitely food poisoning from something you had served due to the fact that we didnt eat anything prior to coming. Not very pleased at the fact of how much the bill was just for these type of results.

Sorry guys, it's not for me and that would go for the other 6 people we had with us. Though the salads and such were fine, every piece of meat kept getting saltier and saltier as the evening went on. When my son asked about the salt, the girl said it was a Brazilian tradition to have salty food. No kidding, the beef ribs and sausages, don't even attempt those ones.

Table service by our waiter was poor. It was a slow night, yet the service was extremely slow. We ordered a bottle of wine as soon as we were seated and she didn't bring the wine until we were two-thirds into our meal. How hard is it to bring a bottle? The vegetarian in our group didn't get her meal until the rest of us were having dessert! As you can imagine, made for a very awkward situation with the rest of us being almost done with our meal when she was just starting hers. While the meats the restaurant serves are very tasty, the choice is limited compared to other Brazilian BBQ restaurants. The sides were quite average. A shout out to the two guys who served the meats. They were extremely friendly and their service was excellent. One of them was hilarious and could be a stand-up comic. This is one of the priciest restaurants in Wpg but certainly not worth the money either in terms of the food or the service (by the waiter).

Absolutely delicious! The top sirloin would be my fav. The sausage is a bit spicy. Overall price is a bit high. After a drink and tip you're looking at $70-$80 easy. I have been several times and now only go upon request for family/friends birthdays or events as the price sure does add up.

You sit down have a menu of sides which include hot and cold. You have a card on your table that you flip from red to green that tells the guy walking around that you want meat. He then comes with a variety of meats to eat. Absolutely recommend this place the servers were great too

UPDATE for 2019: Been going here for years. Used to LOVE this place. Visited at least 5 times a year. In the last 6 months (of 2019) the quality of food AND service has majorly declined. The steaks are a lot more salty, and a lot less flavorful like they used to be. The apps like the chick-pea salad used to taste great, but now comes in half a bowl of water (not kidding). Those ribs they passed around were just fall-off-the-bone amazing, and had a flavor that was borderline addictive. Now they taste like almost nothing but cardboard. And that service. It used to be a fun filled atmosphere of servers with great personality. Now for the last few visits we've had the same young server (looks brazilian with long dark hair) and she is rude, boring, slow and brings everything one at a time if and when she ever appears. This recent visit yesterday was unfortunately our last. With bringing out of town guests for "one last try" we got that same server again, and the service was once again horrible, not to mention the food hadn't improved at all. Also, only 5 other tables were occupied, when 8 months ago, you could barely move in this place for all the people, and you can tell this place is going down. The staff just don't seem to care anymore, and it shows in their service, and more importantly, in the lackluster food they now serve today. What a shame. This was such a great restaurant at one time, but I would really stay clear now. I left an extra star for the guys that bring the meat around...At least they are still fun!

Celebrated my 40th with about 20 people, most of whom have never been here. Everyone loved it, not a single complaint (which speaks volumes). It's a pricey meal but oh so worth it. The food is delicious, the staff were friendly and prompt. I will definitely go again. Great place for a celebration or to enjoy a great meal with a variety of delicious meats and sides.

Most meat was overdone and all taste the same no doubt because it all sits layer over each other on the grill dripping on each other. The restaurant is way way too crowded for this type of serving hence the meat juice spilled on 2 of our guests. They had run out of 2 items on the menu. The decor is cheap and the music is too loud to hold a conversation. At 55$ a person not worth it at all!!!

This was the first time I've been to this restaurant and I was thoroughly impressed not only by the incredible service but also the delicious array of meats and sides. I love my meats and prefer a minimum of 22 ounces of steak for dinner so this was well worth the price. The meats were cooked to absolute perfection and the servers were incredibly attentive. Hugely disappointing. Firstly finding parking was not easy. Then we get to the restaurant and we are taken up some stairs and walk across this very sticky floor. We had never been here before so we did not know the upstairsvwas for the all you can eat BBQ. We wanted to order off the menu so were then taken back downstairs to the lounge. The table was very sticky. I had the ribs with fries. The ribs were not that meaty and were tough and the sauce was very over powering.... Not spicy but had a strange strong flavor and an over abundance of sauce. The fries were hot and fresh but did not seem like home made...... We asked if they were home made and our server told us they were. I must say our server was pleasant.

This is my personal opinion of course. I like my meat cooked well done. Most of what was provided was rare or just plain raw. Staff did however agree to my request for well done meat but still off all the meat that was offered only 1 pork offering was tasty. Everything else tasted bland. I believe their non meat items were far more pleasing to the taste buds.

Very enjoyable experience. This style of restaurant is called Rodizio. You get handed a button with one side green, one side red. The staff then walks around with all the various delicious meats and offers you some only if you have the green side flipped up. I ate more than I've ever eaten because I wanted to get my money's worth and because it was some of the best tasting meats I've had. Make sure to not take too much of one meat early on because you might become full before trying the others!

I have been here several times , first time i came i enjoyed it so much i came again the following weekend. I came this time on a Friday night at 8pm , i left hungry. I am on a keto diet and i dont eat pork for religious reasons, the steak that i came for came out so slow and i seen them bringing it to certain tables only which made me wonder why ? for $140.00 for two people i should not be leaving hungry period. I didn't eat sides since i am on keto and figured this would be the perfect place to feel like i was having a cheat meal ,too bad now i am out $140.00. I've been once, a few years back ... it was OK. Just OK. But I wonder why the "responder" is really only acknowledging positive comments more consistently than all comments. In my experience, you should be bending over backwards to satisfy those people with negative comments and use all feedback to better your environment. I too had issues with the service and a friend of mine is looking to book a large group in a few weeks for a birthday celebration. With what I've read about servers disinterested, I think I will suggest they read the more recent reviews. A group of 25 who is really going for the "EXPERIENCE" they promote shouldn't be irritating the servers (especially if they're implementing an 18% gratuity - which I completely understand) but they better earn it. I will express my concern to them. I look forward to seeing how the "responder" addresses this very valid comment.

Very expensive and if you have a group of 8 or more there will be an 18% gratuity added to the bill. That being said, the food was great. A really excellent variety of meats and sides. The steaks were amazing! If you're not a fan of salt however, this may not be for you.

Fourth time here and I really tried hard to like it. NO. However, the men serving the meat were courteous. First of all, when your shoes get STUCK on the carpet, that tells me the place is not clean. The forks and knives were dirty. The side dishes are ok. Nothing to rant over. The meats are so salty and undercooked with the exception of one meat which is like a rock with bacon on it. I could barely chew my meat. The food comes and comes, yes it does but nothing is hot. It is barely warm at best. The waitress was not attentive whatsoever. AND, for the price of $53 per person- NO parking. We drove around for a half an hour. The atmosphere is a four walled room with what looks like bacon streamers from the ceiling. Out dated and filthy carpet. Best part of the meal for me was the pineapple with cinnamon and sugar as always. It is really great. There are so many great restaurants in this City where I can go when I want a good cut of meat. Here is not one of them. Seriously, you are not missing a thing. I mean, how much meat can you really eat? I will go to Hy's or 521 Wellington when I want to spend over fifty dollars on my meal. I don't find anything special about the experience. The tables and chairs are basic. Oh, there is an elevator you will need go down, yet they force you to take the stairs up. Won't be back.

Carnaval has a decent selection of meats. There is no salad bar so you order from the menu. The meat is served at your table. The reason I gave three stars is because some of the meat was really dry and overly salted. Otherwise it was a good experience and atmosphere in the restaurant. Service was excellent!

I hate to "dish out" 1 star, however this was a horrible experience. After being here twice in the past and enjoying it , I had high expectations for an after Valentine's date with my wife. The food was actually terrible. Steaks were dry and and bland, chicken wings soggy, chorizo like it stayed on the bbq for an hour to long. Our starter ceaser salads came out drenched in dressing, so much that we didn't eat them. Ordered garlic mashed and roasted veggies for sides. The garlic mashed were alright, but the roasted veggies... Wow, horrible. The veggies must have been left overs from the previous day, the were horrible, lacked colour and flavour and were literally so soft I could turn then to mush with the push of my fork. I'm not usually one to leave terrible reviews as I have spent years working in the restaurant industry previously, however I really did feel that this experience deserved a rating and at least a warning to others. On a positive note, food came around often and our waitress was friendly when we able to catch her.

Went here for the first time just after valentine's day with my husband. I loved the idea and the fact it was a butt load of meat. The only downside was how the meat was cooked. I prefer steaks at a medium well and the majority of the beef was medium rare/rare at best. Some items were delicious. The sides were delicious though.

Went here for a birthday dinner. Having been once before, I knew i'd have a good time. The best part about Carnaval is that you can start eating as soon as you are seated. The entire menu is all you can eat, so if you have a small appetite, I wouldn't recommend it. That being said, the restaurant is more than just a lot of meat, they also have a fair selection of hot and cold starters which are also included in the all you can eat. Overall a great dining experience that i cant wait to go back to.

Night started off delayed as our table wasn't ready for the time of our reservation. What bothered me was that we had to chase them down instead of them keeping is informed. Also no offer of a drink etc while we waited. Also they can't take drinks from the lounge to the restaurant so people had to clear the tab before going upstairs when our table was finally ready. Staff and service were great. As was the environment. Food was good but not great and it depended on the cut and meat that was brought over. Side dishes were tasty. Everyone had a great night so outside of the beginning we enjoyed the night.

This week I had the opportunity to attend with a group of 9. The service was very friendly, the process of ordering was explained. Now the food!! Feijoada (black bean stu) with rice was full of flavour. Then comes the meat, there is meat for all types of taste buds. If someone in the group was unsure of a type of meat - they responsibly asked the server to cut a smaller piece to minimize the waste. As a person originally from Southern Brazil - I can confirm that it is like a small taste of Brazil!

I ordered the full rack of ribs, apon arrival I noticed they were sized for a king , juicy and tender and literally fell off the bones .but lacked any real flavor.the Ceasar salad was very tasty and the service was okay.i probably Will not return anytime soon

OMG so much meat. The table side service is amazing and watch out for those small portions (though if you want a huge slab of something you only have to ask and they will happily oblige) they are deceptive. You will fill up. The sides were endless and delicious and the tropical sangria was incredible. The high point was when our waitress suggested we try the grilled pineapple. She had some brought to our table. It was sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. It was so delicious I actually burst into tears.

I'm honestly quite uncertain how this place has a 4.1 star rating. We went for their all you can eat dinner last Tuesday and the whole experience was underwhelming. Our saving grace was that we had good company. Most of the meat skewers were too tough. Our server barely came to visit us. We probably had our water pitcher empty for about half an hour before someone finally showed up to give us a new one... and it was difficult for us to get anyone's attention because servers fly by you without any eye contact. You would assume their wine list would consist of wines that compliment most, if not all, the meat they serve but that is not the case at all. To make matters worse, our server didn't give any wine suggestions which is to be blamed on her lack of knowledge of the menu. She didn't even know what beers they had! For 52$ a person... There are other places to go that will give you your money's worth. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because the garlic bread, the cassava fries and the cheese balls were decent and the guy in the red scarf walking around with skewers was really friendly to us.

For a nice casual night, this is a place to be. $49 a head (I think?) and you can hang out being served all you can eat for as long as you want. Beer and wine selection is good, just good though. Always an enjoyable experience, maybe call ahead though?

Summary: The service needs improvement while the food was okay. After arriving around 6, I entered the lobby and no one was there to greet or seat me. After waiting a few minutes I walked into the lounge to ask if the restaurant is open they're supposed to open at 5) After realizing it was past 5 I got seated and was able to order. I did not try the all you can eat but ordered the steak on their long menu. The 10 oz steak came with some fries made from cassava and some condiments. The steak was good, and the the cassava was not bad but it was just not my taste. The price is also quite steep for what you're getting ($28+tax) After the only server came to take my plate I had to wait 15 min to pay my bill as she went to take orders from a very large group. She was very kind and sweet, but just needs to focus a little more.

Price was extremely high at $55 per person on a Tuesday while the other better places I've been to are around $40 during the week. The most it would cost would be $45 on Fridays and Saturdays. Every single piece of meat that I had from Carnaval was extremely salty and overcooked. Couldn't get a rare or medium rare piece of meat. Everything came medium or well done. Very disappointing for a steakhouse Lastly the service was slow, our table was often skipped or forgotten...I remind you that this was a Tuesday night which is at all not very busy. I would not recommend this place and will definitely will not return. I'm surprised to see how high this place got rated...I mustve gone there on their off day or something.

It was better 3 years ago, when they came around with every kind of meat. This time they only came around with 4 or 5 different kinds, anything else only on request. Like always you must have a reservation. Just dropping in when hungry doesn't work out well. Expect to pay about 80-100 bucks per person for a good supper with some beers or drinks.

Food was delicious. I really enjoyed the ribs and sirloins. Nice selection of wines if you're a wine drinker, which I am not. Red velvet cheesecake for dessert was amazing. They're gonna have to roll me outta here. Fantastic service. Everyone was extremely friendly.

Went there to celebrate my birthday and anniversary treat for my parents, I thought this will be a fun and filling experience as it was rated high - unfortunately all the 'great service' they mentioned on the other reviews are apparently lacking when we arrived. I work in a hospitality industry and this is the most disappointing dinner i have ever experienced, especially when we are celebrating important milestones of our lives. I went with my parents to treat them and two kids and took a long time before we could even be served. We asked if we can get some of the sliced meats to be cooked well done for our preference (Me and the kids) but they just say "We cannot do that" LIKE! WHAT? so i am forced to eat rare? to med rare? How can a person with preference enjoy this? I asked if they can serve us or give the pork again as that is the only meat the kids can eat - they said "wait for it" and that pork never came back to our table nor our server - without the sides we ordered earlier- we wont have food for the kids and us -(we asked for fried and never received it) We went there around 615pm and it was not busy - there was a long group though and I think the small group like us doesn't matter to them at that time. To pay around $230+ for 3 adults and 2 child. Not worth it. I don't usually post a review but this is beyond. Not satisfied at all.

If you have hypertension, this isn't the place for you. More salt than the doctor allows. The service was patchy except for the secondary server who brought out the side orders, he was a joy to deal with . Our primary server was aloof and very nonchalant. Now that I've had the Carnaval "experience", I can remove it from my list of places to go.

I have been going to this place for quite a few years, the food was really salty but its getting better now. I would like to see some more protein options and offer the full menu in the bar and patio. The last time I was there it was a beautiful worm day if your from Winnipeg you know we don't get enough of that, it was sad to see no one on the patio, I couldn't believe it, I found out later it's because they don't offer the same service as they do up stairs. I hope the owner or manager can see what an asset a patio is and capitalize on the opportunity.

We went for Mother's Day dinner and it was FABULOUS!!!! Not the place to go if you don't like meat! OMG I LOVE meat, so it was great! They had all different kinds, and the sides were to die for!!! The pineapple is delicious, the kale salad was delicious, the meat was delicious! A bit pricy, but totally worth it! Love love love this place!

The idea is amazing, the staff are very engaging and lots of fun to be around. The downside is the saltiness of the food. I went there with my partner, her and I both left there with headaches and the need to drink 4L of water between the two of us. The food was great, would be nice is there was less salt. Unfortunately I don't see myself going back there but if you don't mind high sodium food I would recommend this place.

seated very promptly for reservation- lucked out got the best table in the house with views from 2 banks of windows. quite a novel way of dining with appies and sides first followed by a cavalcade of several cuts and servings of meats and sausages on huge skewers sliced to your choice. Pork and chicken were done to perfection but the beef and steak cuts were a little on rare to medium side, but you can ask for more well done and they will accommodate all requests. Our server Bruna was excellent and being from Brazil herself offered a homegrown level of experience. We were shocked to see that we were here for over two hours. A little on the pricey side but well worth it - especially if you are a meat lover. If you go away hungry from this place there is something wrong with you The only real issue we had was that the "background" music was a little loud and everyone had to compensate by upping their volumes. Nice clean bathrooms also. We will definitely return here.

One of the best restaurants I have visited. I went for all you can eat dinner. There are variety of BBQ items to choose from. Dinner has more options than lunch. Each and every item on the menu is delicious and worth a try. Every item has a unique taste that makes you crave for more. Staff is very friendly and serve with a smile. The restaurant is in a prime location and the river view from the restaurant is just amazing. It also has a very interesting drink menu if you would like to have a sip with your meal. Overall, you will have a very satisfactory experience. If you are in Winnipeg you must try this place. I am sure you will love it. I will definitely visit again and again and again.

Its an experience. Over priced 18% gratuities for a waitress that was at best 10% meat delivery was great very steady. Sides some we ordered extra some were untouched and seemed a waist to have not ask us what sides we'd preferred. Would I go back. Only if someone were picking again for there occasion, definitely not on my own. And thoughts the day after are i'd fake sick to not go. To be fair it is fairly loud with music and noise from people talking make sure your waitress has heard what you're ordering. The food was decent. I feel it was overpriced and I'd rather go to a place that has better quality and pick the one thing I'd like to eat and not A bunch of lesser things. The place is worth trying once.

My friends, fiancé and I went for dinner yesterday and had booked the buffet without realizing, but the restaurant was accomodating of our request to move to the lounge and we ended up having such a fun time down there. The food was excellent quality with tender meat and refreshing vegetables, for a decent price. Serving sizes were large too, so most of us didn't actually even end up finishing our food! So we got more than we expected which is always nice. Basically, make sure you come with an appetite for their meals. Otherwise, get one of the sides/starters which are equally delicious. I highly recommend the croquettes -- such comfort food. Mmm.

Great selection of food, nice atmosphere. Most of the food is basically inedible though due to saltiness. Absolutely unreal amount of salt on everything. The sides we had (rizzoto, mashed potatoes, soup; which was potato and steak) were pretty good, although with the meat in the soup, made it on the salty side! But the salt in everything else was just horrible. Literally cant eat certain items like the sausage, or the outsides of any steaks, or chicken legs. Price is pretty extreme, 55$/person. For that amount of money I'd never go back, and go somewhere else and order two meals for he price of one there. Even if they lowered the price to 45$/person, or 35$, due to saltiness we both, would not go back. Get rid of the salt issue, I'd pay 45$ to go there. But any more, you can somewhere else for much better! All in all, we would NOT return, and or recommend it to anyone. Also, the smell of body odors was very strong. Some of the Male servers smelled pretty bad. We are not judgmental people, but clean hygiene should be evident in a server role, and how nobody else said anything to the Male servers is beyond me..

It was okay. The patio was nice and quiet. The server was in general very nice and attentive. The food however was mediocre. My wife had ordered the full ribs which came cold but had fall off the bone meat. I had ordered the steak medium rare and it came VERY well done. I struggled to finish the steak it was unpleasant to say the least. It came with some strange crumbs in a little cup. I am not sure what the purpose of that was. I must say, though, that their Cesar salad was delicious and their fries were surprisingly tasty! The server didn't come back out so we had to go into the bar to find him and pay. Not necessarily a bad thing. All in all for the price and experience I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but if someone panned a dinner I wouldn't be hesitant to return.

DELICIOUS. Granted, this is the only Brazilian BBQ place I've ever been to, and I prefer Korean BBQ but my exp here was bomb. Great wine selection, great service, good atmosphere. Come during the summertime and bring a date, the waterfront is a great place to walk down after all those meats.

not good, priced incredibly high but very limited options for meat. Also, they were slow. There were a lot of times we had to wait 15 mins for the next round of meat they were to serve so we were waiting eating nothing in between the meal. The salads were good. Minestrone was overcooked, corn was tasteless and hard. Definitely not coming back.
