Great experience! I went in for lunch earlier this week with my 2 kids and a friend. Our waiter was very helpful, patient , & made sure we were comfortable . Our meals came out nice and quick and of course sooo delicious. Great ambience, the food is amazing and their customer service is one of the best that you will find in Windsor. I would definitely recommend!!

We ordered food from souq with skip the dish app last Weekend. The hummus was creamy, fresh and delicious. We also ordered the halloumi cheese salad and the tahini cauliflower, they both tasted well and quantity was good for two people. My husband ordered the chicken wrap which he said tasted well too. For dessert we ordered biscoff cheesecake but they were out of it so instead we placed ordered for the falafel sliders but we never received them, which was disappointing. Overall experience was okay nothing too special. The kitchen blamed the driver for not bring the falafel sliders but I didn’t feel that was right as it’s your restaurant so your responsibility to place everything in the bag before handing it to the driver.That’s all

Had lunch there today.. excellent service from Yusef. Very, very tasty. Fattoush salad was spicy and refreshing (I find many times fattoush to be somewhat drowning in vinegar - Souq's was great). Mixed grill and tiki chicken excellent, as was the garlic sauce. Do yourself a favour and go!

Great food and atmosphere! Excellent customer service as well. We went for lunch and ordered the "buy one get one free entree" choice, and the owner gave us free salad on the house. Would definitely recommend and come back whenever we visit Windsor.

My favourite place in all of Windsor to eat. The staff is so kind and the owner makes you feel right at home. The food is always prepared fresh and tastes like a home cooked meal. Their tenderloin shish kabob hits the spot and is always cooked to perfection, the lentil soup is the best for the cold weather (tastes better than my moms). Definitely recommend you try this place, it will become your go to spot.

One of my favourite restaurants in Windsor. Just went for the second time and was not disappointed. Delicious food and really kind staff. If you go once, it won't be your last. Take my word for it, you won't regret going. Affordable food with good portion sizes. Great atmosphere in the restaurant with music playing as well. If your craving Middle Eastern/Moroccan food, this place is to go. I recommend the Biryani Chicken with Rice. All-round amazing food. Give it a try!

Souq is probably one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I've eaten at, period. The food all tasted fresh and had a "homemade" quality to it, which was fantastic. The service was also perfect, our server Rayan was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond what he needed to to make our time at Souq pleasant and memorable. I would absolutely reccomend Souq to anyone.

This place was unbelievable. Where do I start. The food was fantastic. Came with my parents and brother and our two partners. All of us got different dishes and shared and it was such a blend of unique flavours. Halloumi cheese starter and kufta entree were the consensus best. The fresh minty lemonade was also great - strong. What helped make the meal was our server. Whoever was working close on Friday December 20 deserves a shout out. He's the man. He made great recommendations, was attentive and friendly. Can't wait to come back to this place. I mean it. Go here.

Souq has a great menu! Each dish we ordered was infused with incredible flavor. The portions were huge; each entree was enough for two meals, though it was hard to stop eating. The staff was very kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Ordered today based on all the good reviews. Save your money, it’s not worth all the hype. Way overpriced and lacking in flavour. Also, my fries were burnt. Stick with Mezzar or Kabobgy’s, they make way better hummus and food.

A couple friends and I ate there a couple days ago and the experience was perfect. Music, decor and delicious food made it all worth it. The lamb and lasagna were hits and I would absolutely go there again in the near future. Easy 5/5

Visiting Windsor on business and before coming I decided to look up where to go for dinner, and Souq came up first on TripAdvisor, and sounded amazing. I wasn't disappointed. The food was incredible and I'm already regretting ordering the mixed grill because it was so much food, but it was so good it was worth it. The space is beautiful, and nicely spaced out for the COVID-19 reality of the day. Jordan was my server and was great, really friendly, and it was good he recommended I start with fattoush and have cheesecake to finish. Why not, it's on an expense account!

This place is great! The atmosphere is so beautiful, authentic yet modern. The food was a flavorful journey to the Middle East/Mediterranean. The food was perfectly seasoned but not too spicy. Staff was also friendly! They currently have buy one get one entrée free which is a great and affordable way to explore the menu.

My fiancee and I ordered takeout from souq for lunch. We ordered the mixed grill, cauliflower tahini, fattoush, wings, and the biscoff cheesecake. Every single item was great. The beef and chicken was cooked and spiced to perfection, the rice flavourful, wings were A+, and cheesecake was delicious. We tend to have a more "american" palette and decided to take a risk and bit and try souq, and are extremely happy we did. Their food is for all palettes, and they have a great variety to appeal to everyone. We highly recommend their food and will absolutely be ordering again. All of this to be considered, their takeout food was delicious and arrived warm, I can't imagine how good it is once they are able to re-open in person!

Shish Tawook from my understanding is white chicken breast. How is it that i cut up so much fat from the pieces. These are thighs. No flavor. Bland. Both chicken and rice. I felt disgusted and ripped off to receive such food. Update January 2022 Sorry you can’t accept criticism and i never knew that reviews had to be all positive and not based on my own personal experience. Not that its any of your concern but i do have positive reviews for other establishments. A professional business owner would reflect on what i said in a positive manner and would work towards a positive outcome to the issue. Not spend their time researching other peoples profiles lol.

I always enjoy my meals here. Delicious and unusual food. As a vegan, there are several options. I had the cauliflower in tahini sauce, and my friend had the stuffed burger. Their "fries" (which are actually baked) are delicious! The jallab, a drink popular in the Levant superb! Rayan, our server (who was in training), was excellent.

I am lost for words. No doubt the best food I have ever had. Insanely nice and kind staff with deliciously cooked meals. There prices are really affordable with great portion sizes. Their Fattoush and Biryani Chicken was amazing as well, it's a must try. They really make you feel appreciated and welcomed. You will not regret it. You will leave full with a delicious meal in your stomach.

Our February selection for our monthly dinner club. OH MY GOODNESS! I may have put them at my top spot. We had a group of nearly a dozen- everyone got a different dish & everything was amazing. It was a quiet dinner minus all of the sharing, offering & doting on everyone else's dishes. We will definitely be back. Souq, you blew our minds & sent us home with leftovers. Bring your appetite.

A coworker forced me to try some more cultured food, otherwise I'd have gone to a Wendy's or something. Food was great, for someone who was forced to branch out and otherwise just eats traditional fast food and chains. Portions were good and presentation was good. Really recommend their salmon dish. I could taste the salinity of the ocean. The fried potatoes that come paired with the salmon have a crunchy layer on the outside and soft mushy inside. Loved this place. Went with my son. We loved the food, the presentation, and the service. I like how they stand by their values/ religious beliefs and don't offer alcohol. One of the top restaurants I've ever been to in Canada! Only minor issue would be that they charge for every refill of pop without letting you know this fact in advance.

One of the best middle eastern restaurants in Windsor. The foods are authentic and made of fresh ingredients. They have also offer special drinks. I love their fresh middle eastern type of lemonade. The only reason I cannot give 5 star is that during my last visit they used dry mint instead of fresh mint in the lemonade without letting us know when we ordered. (The lemonade in the picture is for my first visit and made up fresh mint)

I would highly recommend Souq Lebanese Grill, the food was fresh, tasty, and the service was great. we are a family of four and got the Chicken platter and added hummus, fattoush, and pita and it was more then enough food. we also got the fries, they are baked, not fried and tasted delicious. We has there cheese cake dessert as well and it was very delicious.

I ordered the Tenderloin Kabob Lunch Meal with Lentil Soup. To be fair I used Skip the dishes so I cannot comment on customer service it wouldn't be fair. This review pertains to the order itself. The kabob was good in taste but the portion was very small and only 3 pieces of meat were given (See Attached Photo) not sure if that's even a scewer. The rice was decent and a great portion was given. Lentil soup had too much black pepper in it, it overpowered the taste. Hope this helps the staff/customers make a change/decision.

The five stars are specifically for the food. However, the ambiance is lacking. It is a bit too stark. More mood lighting would dramatically help soften the cafeteria feel. There is a pergola were we were seated that would be amazing with some soft fabric draped through the rungs. That would give the room much needed warmth. Absolutely go for the food!

today me and my family came all the way from London to try this restaurant everything exceeded our expectations it really felt like I was visiting back home the decorations were gorgeous and the food was delicious but most of all . This place is phenomenal and unique. It unbelievably fresh and delicious! The tahini sauce is out of this world and we were blown away by the tenderloin skewers. The fattoush was topped with fresh pomegranates and that was the best fattoush we’ve ever had. We were celebrating our friends birthday and the staff did a little celebration for her and made her day. Thank you for such great food and friendly service.

The owner of our store ordered lunch from Souq for all of us. The 10$ lunch special was so delicious. I recommend Souq to anyone who wants a good filling meal at a great price. The food filled me up and I took some home to snack on when I was hungry again. Another thing I'd like to mention is how thankful the Souq owners were to my company for ordering from them. Our Assistant went to pick it up and she said their customer service was outstanding and they even sent a thank you for ordering from us card for my owner to have. She said she has never been thanked for ordering catering before and she does it a lot. It's the little things that go a long way. We will be happy to support them again!

We ordered souq on July 31, 2021 for the first time through skip the dishes. What can I say, the food arrived fresh and warm, it was so delicious. The portions are amazing and the prices are great. It’s one of the best Mediterranean places we’ve had if not the best. Will definitely be ordering again.

If you don't like extreme curry taste in your food. Do not order from here. Ordered the chicken bryani and was full of oil and tasted like the cook spilled half a jar of curry in my dish. Super expensive and not impressed!

I went back to Souq for the second time today simply because the first time was amazing. We got excellent service from Rayan and Lara during our first visit, and the food was 10/10. Today, unfortunately, we had a less than mediocre experience. Rayan was our waiter again, and he was great per usual. The issue was while Rayan was taking our order, a man who seemed to have a very poor attitude came and snatched the iPad out of the waiters hands while he was literally typing in our order. The man was on the phone and proceed to the front of the store where he was apparently taking a phone order. He never came back to apologize and Rayan had to walk over to him to retrieve the iPad back. To my shock, this man was the owner! He never even greeted us! In fact, I got a very uncomfortable vibe from him the way he looked at us but I ignored that because we were otherwise very happy to be back once we saw Rayan. My husband spoke to the owner about the situation and he basically apologized that ‘we felt that way’. I’m giving 2 stars only because Rayan was awesome. The food wasn’t as good today as the first time; I’d give the food a solid 3/10 today. We will NOT be returning, which is sad because we were excited to bring our families here... not going to happen now.

My coworkers and I were very lucky to be able to try multiple dishes here. We were able to try the lentil soup, shrimp & chicken, rice and vegetables, the meat pie & arayes. For a drink we had the mint lemonade, at first, the combination sounded not appealing, but it was delicious and so refreshing. All items we tried during our visit were delicious, the meat was so tender and juicy, and all food was hot and served in a great presentation. Highly recommend trying there.

This was my father's first time trying Mediterranean food, the food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the family platter and every single thing we ate was delicious so flavorful and cooked to perfection. The waitress Mariam was wonderful she answered all of our dumb questions and she kept checking in on us she was just so sweet and very wonderful to deal with. Definitely recommend trying Souq out! You will not regret it we will definitely be back! Also the restaurant was beautifully decorated and extremely clean, all around a very nice visit!

Visited Nov 2020. We had reservations and were seated quickly. Service is friendly, ambience is great. We had the Fattoush Salad, Kufta Grill and the Mix Grill. The food was superb. The rice was perfectly seasoned and steamed. The kufta kabobs were done right. The chicken shish tawook was moist and the tenderloin shish kabob was done very well. The toum was finger licking good and the hummus was packed to come home with us. The pomegranate seeds in the Fattoush gave the salad an oomph we hadn't had with Fattoush. Very inspiring food. The restaurant is clean and will be back for more.

We visited Souq on January 3, 2022 for the first time recommended by a friend. We were extremely happy with the food and service. The flavour was unbelievable. We enjoyed this restaurant so much we decided to eat here again the next evening. Again, fantastic food and service. I didn’t get the name of the young man that served us on January 3rd but Mariam was our server on the 4th and she was fantastic. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food, service and atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was excellent, large portions and great flavor. I love the decor and atmosphere. I would have given 5 stars except that we weren't offered beverage choices other than the water we ordered and the waitress, who was really nice, didn't once come around during the meal to see if any one of the eight of us needed anything. Horrible service. Ordered the shish kabob. Menu said it came with 2 skewers for 22$ and when it came there was 4 small pieces. I made a comment politely and they argued saying that is two skewers and didn’t do anything

I came in tonight(Saturday Night) for dinner. I have wanted to come to the restaurant for some time. I waited 15 minutes. No menu, no water, nothing , There were only about 8 people in the restuarant. I got up and left and went to the Thai restaurant a few businesses down where they valued me as a customer. I will NOT go back and will tell my friends not to bother. So disappointed!!

They don’t have roasted vegetables with their dishes anymore which is pretty disappointing since they advertise their food as being “healthy” yet they only have meat, potatoes, and rice in their meals. Even the pictures on their website and social media have pictures with the roasted vegetables but they don’t sell it anymore. I avoid ordering from here for that reason because other than that it is all dry food and nothing really considered “healthy” like they claim.

This is a review of their menu. I've never ate here . The food displayed on the menu looks great but as I curiously looked I saw two meals that appeared lacking. The first pictures has only half of a roti bread Are they trying to save money by giving you only half? The second picture also lacked in the quantity of food displayed . These pictures have me wondering now whether the prices of meals are high since the quantity of some dishes are poor.

Delicious and satisfying! We were a large group and everyone found something on the menu that they loved. Great attention to detail and presentation of food was lovely. Everything about this restaurant was great especially the fact that they don’t serve shawarmas like every Mediterranean restaurant in Windsor. Well done souq and we are DEFINITELY coming back. Highly recommend this to everyone. This place is phenomenal.

Being from the middle east, it's difficult to find places that can do such a good job re-creating some of my favourite dishes. Souq is one of the few restaurants that can do just that. The food and the people working there are amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys middle eastern food! 10/10!
