$34 for chicken parmesan, way overpriced. Bread and tomato/artichoke pate, terrible, not everyone likes artichoke, asked for just butter, they didn't have room temperature butter, waitress had to microwave frozen butter, she served it liquid in a bowl. Pathetic.

WOW! First thing I would love to point out is the amazing service right when you walk in the door! The food was unbelievable and cooked to perfection. This place will not disappoint at all and is a must visit. Before I could even snap a photo of the food it was all gone. Every bite is absolutely savoury and to die for!

It was beyond amazing! A must to eat is the truffle cacchetti and the grilled salmon. The sauces were so delicious that if I could have liked the plate clean I would have. The cheesecake was a delicious finale to our dinner. Definitely worth going to and Definitely going back! Oh, and I should add service was exceptional.

I wish I took pictures of our food but we were too busy enjoying ourselves. We went for my husbands 30th birthday celebration last Saturday with a reservation of 10. Our server, Tony (Toni?), was so fun and attentive. Our table ordered multiple different items off the menu: lobster ravioli, salmon, steak, chicken parm, muscles, seafood pasta… no complaints at all! The food took a bit to come out, but as a large table it’s expected. We will be back!

Ok, for our 28th Anniversary dinner my wife picks a random restaurant we've never eaten at before... I'm so glad she did! The grilled calamari reminded us of our trip to Venice, the beautiful savory flavor. The steak tenderloin just melted in her mouth and my lamb was delicious. To finish we enjoyed cheese cake and tiramisu which was simply divine. I'm so glad my wife picked this random restaurant, staff was friendly, food was grand.... we'll definitely be back again!

A comfortable and quiet place to have dinner. While I wouldn't say the food is bad, both times I've been there the food tasted very rich and fatty. It could be just that I chose the wrong thing on the menu. Still I'm not against visiting again in the future. Again the place hardly has any customers when I go there which I actually prefer over eating in a loud and crowded place.

New, just opened this location about year ago. Lots of fish, pasta on rather short menu. Wife had pierogis, I had grilled chicken/sun dried tomatoes in white sauce. Both were excellent.

Terrible experience! Didnt have any seafood from the menu except for the undercooked shrimp they served me. Potatoes of several of our dishes were Ice cold. We complained and when the potatoes were returned they were hot on the outside but still cold on the inside. Compensation was in the form of 3 slices of apple pie for 6 guests...server forgot one of our starters and a glass of wine. We were the only 6 people in the restaurant...this should NEVER happen. So disappointed in the service and food.

We planned on going to a greek restaurant, however, the wait would have been a couple hrs so we called 3 or 4 other places, all saying the wait to get in was no less the 1.5 hrs. I google searched Erie st restaurants, I see Bacchus, I call and was told we could come in..no wait!! STELLAR FIND!!!! How have I not heard about this place! They got it right with the colour and decor, enchanting and cozy ambiance. Menu is limited (due to covid) Every dish ordered by the 8 of us was done to absolute perfection from presentation to taste. I just had to meet the chef who made my rack of lamb a meal that I will remember. Everyone was just as satisfied as I was with their dish. I cant give our server an A+..maybe a B at most, but I can definitely rave about the other server working, now That lady was quick, friendly, personable and efficient!! Her name is Toni. The owner came out and greeted us..topped our night off with a lovely round of shots. This find I stumbled upon on google was a real treat!!!!!!!! I definitely found a place I can call one of my favourites. Almost forgot to mention the chairs!!! This restaurant has the most comfortable chairs .. soft and so cushy!!????????????

Great cozy restaurant to enjoy a lovely evening with friends and family. They have the best bruschetta served on a flatbread rather than thin sliced baguette. The lamb was seasoned beautifully, and the chicken parm could be cut with a fork alone. If I had better presentation and perfectly cooked meals better than this, I dont remember when. I greatly look forward to returning. I do however, see some negative reviews regarding portion size and price, i would gladly pay the price for the quality. The meal satisfied my appetite, and as i said before, the presentation is magazine worthy. If you're looking to gorge, go to a buffet and stop complaining. This is my new favorite place, surpassing the Keg.

MY wife recently had a baby shower here. When asking about pricing the manager Catherine sent me a menu with plate pricing. The pricing was per plate. After the baby shower was all said and done my wife came home and said something didn't feel right. My wife calculated everything and she was billed double. When contacting Catherine to discuss she basically shrugged me off to the manager and told me that was what was agreed upon. This was not the case. She was right in telling me that my wife should have discussed the price before paying but she had people behind her and just felt rushed. The bill did not have a service fee for renting the hall or a per plate value of what was received. Instead we were charged a fixed rate per person. AS per what was discussed when my wife met with her and the owner... Nothing pertaining to a rental fee or head charge was discussed. The manager kept delaying the quote as well. VERY SHADY. Good food and good service but don't recommend booking any sort of event here.

If you want a nice cosy quiet place for dinner. This is the place to go. It’s not large ideal for 2 or 4 people. Nice clean atmosphere. Food is fantastic and reasonably priced. If you like grilled salmon. This is must. It is one of the top grilled salmons I’ve had anywhere. Amazing.

I liked the decor, seats are very comfortable but you cannot charge 1$ more for a 7oz tenderloin that was very average vs the keg steakhouse. I am sorry but your steak was not tender for that price. The rest was very good.

I just celebrated my baby shower at Bacchus Ristorante this past weekend on 10/24/2021. I cannot rave enough about this restaurant, it's staff, and the the delicious food! If i could give it 10 stars I would. From the initial planning stages Catherine, Beth, and Vern were all very supportive and promised nothing short of a wonderful experience. During the event day Catherine and Beth came in early, set up the restaurant, helped with the decorations, provided input, and were genuinely happy to help with any request that was asked of them (and there were many small things we forgot to bring that they helped with on the spot). Once the place was set up they got to work with serving and and food prep. Two chefs came in to prepare the food which was mouthwatering. The food at Bacchus was really spectacular!! Numerous guests were in awe how delicious everything was and complimented the dishes. The fish was cooked to perfection which I am sure is difficult to do for a party of 30. The salad was so fresh and beautiful and the fruit was fresh clean and dry. They were very accommodating to my tradition to bring in my own desert. The service was very professional, polite, and un-intrusive. They were quick to bring anything that was requested, accommodated allergies and food restrictions with ease, and were prompt to anticipate what was needed at the tables. Overall a great experience and wonderful food! Will gladly return for a dinner or an event.

We had a perfectly prepared dinner with amazing service last night, our first time eating at Bacchus! I’ve never had a tenderloin with such taste and texture, and the potatoes were extremely unique. This place is a much needed breath of fresh air, as nobody will ask you to prezent your paperz. Felt like we were actually in Canada again! My wife and I will definitely be back! Food - we started with a pear flatbread as an appetizer which is really good. The entrees took to another level! kudos to the chef, the lamb and the truffle pasta were awesome. Dessert was great but it was a special touch by the owner (who was there the whole time we were) that made the night. One of the other customers said we had to try the shrimp.

We were at Bacchus for a set menu meal, so I can't comment on the full menu. But the food was excellent. The service was extraordinary, huge kudos to the wait staff and the owner, who was out in the dinning room for the entire service. A great meal, evening and experience.

The staff is very friendly and the food is some of the best I've eaten. The chef is very talented and can cater to special diet requirements on request. I called ahead for a vegan dish and was served a very flavorful dinner. The portions are a good size. You will not leave hungry. The building is currently going through some renovations but the service and food quality is as good as ever. The prices are a bit higher here than other restaurants. I recommend making a reservation here for a romantic evening or special occasion.

Amazing dinner this past weekend at Bacchus - my boyfriend and I really enjoyed being able to dine in for our date night and the food was absolutely to die for. The beef tenderloin was by far the best I've ever had - so so tender, just melts in your mouth. My boyfriend had the lamb and said it was some of the best he's had also. The most expensive place I ever been to went there for a drink after dinner my wife got twisted martini first the lady had to go online to learn how to do it and it was terrible than $15 dollars for a twisted martini I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this place I would stay a way from this place very very expensive.

We came in on Halloween night, very quiet and relaxed environment. Our waitress was very polite and timed everything perfectly. The food was amazing! We had Calamari to start, and it was prepared very different than Ive ever had before, delicious none the less. Bacchus tenderloin for her, and A Cajun Rack of Lamb for myself. Both were very good. I highly recommend Bacchus to anyone that hasn't been.

Waited 50 minutes for a meal , yet still no meal. My partner and I were assured on several occasions that " it was coming right out ", that was an outright lie. We complained to the manager Joanne who didnt seem sincere in her apology other then to start with " but we were busy with a large party. A true apology NEVER starts with "but "! We were more upset about the misleading truths while waiting for our meals. FYI, we were the only customers on the patio, should have been a clue!
