Poor customer service. We had to wait almost 5 minitues to be seated in a restaurant that wasn't very busy. When the time came to order the server, Sachiyo, had a poor understanding of either the menus or English and proceeded to argue with me about what was clearly stated as either toast or 3 pancakes. She said I could complain on the website then rather than helping me in person. As well as this argument she proceeded to give us dirty looks. I settled on the French toast wich was actually very good. Pros: good food and good family restaurant atmosphere Cons: Poor customer service

Food is very much sub par. Half our meals were taken off the bill as we couldn’t eat them. Coffee was burnt and old. Everything is frozen, not fresh as they advertise. Restaurant was dingy, bathrooms were disgusting. Poster on wall advertising ribs is not available on the menu. Not a great experience. Took 20 mins to get drinks and another 30 or so to get our meals. Our server was nice and apologized which made things a little better, but you could tell she was overworked and frustrated. I do not recommend and my family and I will not be returning.

Terrible service. That's bad because the food that I have had here is actually pretty good. I've stood at the counter multiple times 3-4 since I've been at the hotel, trying to get a seat but no. The servers hang out in the kitchen not paying attention. I've even tried to get my own seat and when the servers do come out they act like I'm invisible. Maybe I need to wear something brighter????

Food was ok, but the service was horrible. It took the server15 mins to even bring me a cup of coffee and take my order and that first cup was the only cup I got. It wasn't that busy, and the servers seemed to disappear in the back for a long time. Not very impressed. Usually always have a good experience at any Rock's I've been to.

Overall pretty good but the raw carrots that came as a side were so soft and slimy that it caused concern for the freshness of the other ingredients. Something so simple can ruin the enjoyment of the overall meal ☹️

I ordered the liver dinner and it was the best Liver I have ever had. My mother, a great cook, never fixed it any better. My son had a burger that was also excellent he said. There was only one person out front that was doing everything. She was almost running to help everyone. I told her that her service was exceptional and left a good tip.

Only restaurant in the Copper Ridge area for now. Even being the only restaurant in this area, it is a local favorite and gets its fair share of loyal customers. I myself have been here almost once every month. Their food is well above average and atmosphere is typical of a sports bar with at least a screen in front of you whichever table you’re sitting on. Even the service is good and they are not in a rush unless the pub is super busy with people waiting for a table (which is often the case on weekends).

I have been coming here for breakfast for 10 years. Probably one of the best breakfasts in town. Service is usually prompt. It is a family friendly atmosphere with lots of parking and reasonable prices. They fix any issues with the food in a polite and timely manner.

Good service, the poor waitstaff seemed overwhelmed. The food was good for the price, though I felt that the teriyaki sauce on the tacos was too sweet. My husband says that the Veal deserved 4 stars.

came in with my friend today. A complete disaster. Waitress was really mean and snobby, brought my friend cold tea with no honeys or sugars on the side, when she asked for sweetener of some kind the waitress was not wanting to bring it to her she had to ask multiple times. The guy across the restaurant had to return his eggs because there was eggshells all over them, my shrimp was undercooked I probably could have put it back in the ocean. My friends eggs were pretty raw, her hash browns were grey and when we went to pay the waitress got mad that I didn’t want to pay for the raw shrimp I didn’t eat. Do not recommend. We feel terrible.

How to start this is possibly the worst place i had in many many years i had a fish and chips amazingly fish and chips does not include chips if you order a soup when i asked the waiter about my chips she actually asked me if i want an extra chips ? and amazingly she seemed serious my wife had a liver plate that was two slices of liver not kidding or joking the damn plate had two single slice of liver on no potato no nothing ooh yes she had a soup as well this i know is unbelievable but for the management of this place if you read this review for your entertainment i made pictures of my plate and still laughing out loud and yes it is very popular on my facebook page as well THIS PLACE IS WORST THAN MCDONALDS OR FOR THAT MATTER ANY RESTAURANT I EVER BEEN IN

I had chicken and waffles for the first time and it was tasty. My boyfriend had an avocado omelette which satisfied his craving for breakfast at 3:00pm. The service was quick and we were not waiting long for our food. They have greatly improved and I would recommend giving the new location a chance.

Are here while up in Whitehorse while visiting a friend. Atmosphere was not the greatest and the service was just ok. Ordered the skillet and it did not disappoint. Food was excellent and the portion size was huge. Had the restaurant atmosphere and service been a little more inviting I would have given a higher rating. We honestly thought the place was closed when we got there.

There aren't too many options for breakfast in Whitehorse. Still, Ricky's was disappointing. I'm not usually the type to complain about atmosphere, but it was very dark and poorly lit inside. The food took too long to get out for how quiet the restaurant was. When it finally came out, it was mediocre at best. Our pancakes were overcooked and tough, and the sausages were cooked inconsistently. The service didn't save the experience. Overall, can't recommend the place.

I had the big forks breakfast thing. Eggs were too well done. Bacon was burnt a little, the hash brown looked too complicated to eat, the sausages, I don’t know, they didn’t taste that good and were over burnt as well. Staffing needs to be improved I guess. Waited for a very long while before we got served. Also needs a little bit of happy touch in the atmosphere. Some lights or music perhaps!

Literally the worst restaurant in Whitehorse. Ask any local and they’ll agree. The bar is set pretty low for acceptable food, so for this place to be considered as bad as it is, that should tell you something. The only reason it has survived this long is because it’s attached to one of the cheapest hotels in town and there’s nothing else really within walking distance besides Boston pizza and McDonald’s. Take your money elsewhere.

Ricky’s is under new managemen! And it is great. Thursday for lunch and there were several servers to take care of people. Not too crowded with proper spacing. Located at the Days Inn on the corner of 2nd and 4th Ave in downtown Whitehorse. It was a pleasant surprise, the larger space and decor, and COVID-19 sitting of course. Masks are mandatory and taken off only for eating. The wait staff were friendly and took time to tell us what was special on the menu as well as a little chat. We went there specifically to have halibut fish and chips. They were delicious. I had one piece of fish that was of good size. Chips were crispy and there were a lot of them. I had the Lemocello cake for dessert and it was vanilla cake with lots of lemoncello syrup and whipped cream. Good choice. My dining partner went for the apple pie and it came topped with ice cream and caramel syrup. Will certainly go there again.

Had to pay an 18% gratuity because we had three children (siblings) with us. That's an 18% gratuity on each of the 3 bills at our table. Seen as a way to gain more income simply because it was All Native hockey tournament weekend. Won't go back again.

Food was very bland, I had the happy hour specials. The fries that came with poutine were too soft, the chicken tenders were too oily and really did not have much flavour, the “so good pot stickers” were not that good at all. Waitress was very nice, but she had to tend to all the tables so wait times took longer. Breakfast is better here.

I had a burger and enjoyed it and ceaser. Philly cheestake was just ok. Chicken tenders was good too. We will go back.

Had the breakfast sandwich and hash browns. Breakfast sandwich consisted of a single half-circle of thin ham that covered 2/3rds of the sliced bread, a 2mm thick ribbon of scrambled egg and a small slice of cheese. Hash browns were only partially cooked. Cream for coffee was sour and when we asked for a fresh cup of coffee the server trainee had to ask the manager if it was OK to give us another cup. Staff were very pleasant. The atmosphere and quality of food at this location is a disappointment compared to the previous location on Chilkoot Way.

Under New Ownership and Management, NOT IMPRESSED!! Same dingy, dark, falling apart, poorly lite atmosphere. Same poor service, we waited almost 10min just to get water!!!. Bacon was undercooked, half my sons waffles were over cooked, my french toast was cold and flattened and flavourless. Also we didnt get our condiments till after food was served, so we sat their waiting awhile before we could eat. Also during a covid pandemic in a new increased cases situation, you think you would NOT put the DIRTY MENUS BY THE HEADS OF YOUR CUSTOMERS and the dirty condiment bottle right at my sons head too. Not impressed, wont be going back!!!! You think if you were going to buy a poorly functioning restaurant, you would at least renovate it from its dungy look before you open, so people wont feel depressed by being their.

Well I don't usually give 1 star reviews but for this place I'll make an exception. The service was bad from everyone we interacted with, we were constantly made to feel as an inconvenience. Worse yet, the menu descriptions DON'T MATCH what they serve you! I ordered the Turkey BLT and they served it with Swiss cheese instead of cheddar and it was slathered in raspberry jam. All of that combined with being rushed out the door by a constant barrage of cold "are you done with that?"s makes for one of the most dissatisfying restaurant experiences I've had in some time.
