Paid $140 for a 3 course meal that was worth $60 at best! The entree was crab in mushroom caps which really was cream cheese spread over button top mushrooms (5) with the step removed, and didn't taste like crab at all... The $38 ribeye steak I ordered medium rare (specifically said bloody juices were good), with a peppercorn glaze ($4) and mushrooms ($4) with jumbo prawns ($14) = for a total of $60 What I got was a steak that plain with one half medium well (no juices) and the other half so rare it had no juices, the peppercorn glaze came as a side dish (extremely disappointed the chef (not) couldn't have grilled the steak with the glaze). I was shocked that the price of prawn was for 3, the mushrooms were out of a can Money's button tops (in real!!!) , the plate was garnished with 2 tiny potatoes cut in half (boiled) and no flavor, the asparagus had the diameter of a cooked spaghetti noodle and of the 6 4" pieces only 2 had spear tops and were served warm and raw, not el dente = raw. The dessert was meant to be a replacement for creme boulet but it was a flavourerless pudding with a hint of lemon zest but I'm not sure, and the blueberries sprinkled on top were not of quality lacking flavor and juices. My dinner guest could give the same review for his hundred dollar dinner, the steak order medium well that came medium rare, the cream cheese entree that left him with an evening of the trots. The couple sitting at the table ne t to me were also in shock with their filet mignon, the guy ordered medium got rare but ate it anyway, however, the lady just couldn't stomach it and had to send it back. If you chose to pay way too much to eat here just know you'll not get quality food. Go to anywhere else before these crooks.

Didn’t live up to the hype for me.. steak and vegetables were overcooked, mashed potatoes were lumpy. I really like the decor of this place. Service was decent. Can’t imagine this is actually the best steak in town, though. Everyone else at the table liked their food. Good selection of Greek food.

They take reservations which I didn't know. I suggest you take advantage of that although our wait was short. Food was delicious, pizza was perfect and the steak dinner was cooked to order; all delicious. The staff was attentive, super friendly and accommodating.

In my 20+ years of life, I have never had pizza this salty. Goodness gracious me! There is no way????. I went here from the recommendation of a coworker. The pizza looked amazing, but when I took a bite, I was instantly overcome with saltiness. It's unbelievable how much salt goes into this pizza. It could have been a delicious treat, but you guys have got to ease up on the salt. I have had food a lot of places but the salt in take seem high in the city. If you are concern about your salt intake, please ensure you request no salt added or just stay away from this place altogether.

Great service. Good food. We did not have pizza because we were told that the wait would be very long, but the other side of the menu is still good. You should probably get a reservation wether you come in the summer or in the winter. There is always a wait otherwise, even on a Tuesday evening.

The best caesar salad I have had in years. Alaska King Crab, Filet Mignon and Salmon were outstanding. This restaurant is a gem and a must go to place in Whitehorse. If it were closer I'd be there weekly.

The food was excellent. My husband had the scallops and prawns and I had the halibut. Both dishes were very well done. The atmosphere was upscale but casual. It was an interesting dichotomy. I would definitely recommend G&P to travellers through Whitehorse.

Stopped in around 8:30pm for a late snack and drinks. As I walked in and waited on a host to seat me, a cook asked me if I was there for a pick up order as he rushed past me. Not a best first impression the way it came off. Ordered a Moscow Mule and it tasted nothing of ginger or alcohol. Wound up sending it back for an Old Fashioned, which came back out perfect. There are these fake LED blue candles on each table. But instead of complimenting what is an admittedly very modern and nice decor, they are instead relied upon for table lighting and honestly hurt my eyes. I pushed it behind the table drink card stand. The Cranberry Elk sausage was amazing. Hands down. The crispy coated ginger honey Calamari was less than desirable and over battered. I’d come back again, but it wouldn’t be my first choice by any means.

Food cooked very nicely, portions very generous, worth the price, but menu hasn't been updated. Good choice if you like consistency but aren't an adventurous eater. Great pizzas, worth every penny for takeout. Decor in need of updating--chairs may be from the 80's. Ventilation could use some service, came home with clothing and hair that smelled like cooked food. On the night we ate there, server forgot two requests from our table, restaurant was only about 25% full, so busyness was not the reason.

A really pleasant place. A lovely bar and the food was good. That being said I ordered a martini and it was ok and then an ole fashioned. Being somewhat of a newb to classic cocktails and having read up on how they’re made I couldn’t drink this one. There was no sugar and the orange peel wasn’t muddled at all, I wanted to ask for soda water water it down a bit it was too strong for me. This might be because I’m not much of a drinker, in truth... I ordered garlic prawns which were delicious but for the price a little shy on the goods, I thought. Additionally I had the rustic linguini which while lovely wasn’t what I expected. It was supposed to be tossed in a basil pesto, but was only olive oil. Now granted, it’s the Yukon and there may be some ingredients unavailable. And the food was delicious. The waitress didn’t seem to notice me that much when my glass was empty and I never received a requested glass of water. Overall though I would go back despite the prices. It’s very pricey. $78 for 2 drinks, linguini, 6 prawns and a creme Carmel which was absolutely yummy I might add. I would just have to be a little more conscious of my choices.

The fettuccini was wonderful. The creamy sauce was just right with the shrimp and scallops sweet as can be, Pasta perfectly done. My partner had the special lamb shank with a request for extra veggies - did not disappoint. Fall off the bone, Delightful place, when return will visit again. the server was cheerful and delightful conversationalist,. Thank you!

Ordered chicken souvlaki along with another person at our table. Both arrived with burned chicken and undercooked rice. Lamb souvlaki ordered at our table was overcooked and rice was undercooked. Pizza ordered at the table was perfectly cooked and delicious. Waitress was very friendly and attentive.

We stopped in to G&P because it smelled so good from the street! We ordered the comfort food platter and the Aurora pizza. The comfort food platter was good, but not amazing. There was a good proportion of food to sauces but the tzatziki sauce lacked flavour which was disappointing because this is normally a sauce that I am prepared to eat by the spoonful when it is done right. There was a fair bit of naan/pita to this platter which probably would be nice if you were sharing with multiple people. To share between just two people, this felt like a bit of a space filler and wasn't as delicious as many of the other items in the platter. As for the pizza - amazing! It was everything we had hoped for and more. We will definitely be back again but will just stick with the pizza/other items on the menu!

I’ve had two great experiences here, and 3 bad ones. The 3 times I have ordered takeout, I have brought home incorrect orders. A couple of items I asked for changes to remove ingredients I’m allergic to and can’t eat. Every time it is wrong! I always confirm the order multiple times over the phone, and they even repeat it back to me. After I paid and realised it was wrong, I brought it up with the people at the takeout window, they just looked at me like a deer in headlights and offered no solution. I understand there is a language barrier with the person taking the phone orders, but I’ve literally spent $300+ dollars on food that i can’t eat because it is incorrect. I don’t think I can give any more business to this place which is a shame.

The taste is delicious for overseas Elk's skillet asked me because she felt Canadian. Yukon Gold Beer is delicious. There seems to be Yukon RED beer, but it was a bit bitter. The first night that I had supper at this restaurant, the service was good, the food was good and I enjoyed my time with friends. As someone who is not from the Yukon, I had imagined how great it would be to bring my family back to this restaurant the next time that I am in Whitehorse; my 2nd visit to this restaurant has changed my opinion. I will no longer dine at this restaurant and recommend against it to my friends and family who are visiting the Yukon. The service was terrible. We had made a reservation, but we were not seated until 1/2 an hour after our reservation time. The waitress was very rude throughout our entire dining experience, serving us with an impatient tone and slamming water glasses on the table - not to mention, the owner of this restaurant was eating at the table right next to us (witnessing this poor level of service, and saying nothing). We waited nearly an hour and a half for our food to arrive at our table. By the end of our stay, I felt that we were more of a burden than guests, and that should never be the case when entering a business... especially one with a pricey menu. I regret spending one of my last outings with my friends in the Yukon at this establishment. However, Giorgio's Cuccina was incredibly welcoming for dessert.

Excellent Pizza, loaded with topping and a crunchy outside/soft inside deep dish crust. Calamari had to much batter, and got kind of soggy in the take-out container. (Translated) At first it seems that the person in charge of the place is elitist and pretentious but once inside the deal is friendly and super diligent. Very friendly waitresses too. It is an expensive restaurant so don't expect to spend less than C $ 100 if you want a good dinner. The meat is supreme. It has the perfect stew depending on the term in which you order it and the vegetable accompaniment is very rich. The mushrooms are separate and they charge you extra but they are very worth it. To take a Yukon Red is the option because it is very rich and the mashed potatoes are creamy and tasty. (Original) Al principio pareciera que la encargada del lugar es elitista y pretenciosa pero una vez adentro el trato es amable y súper diligente. Las meseras muy amables también. Es un restaurante caro por lo que no esperes gastar menos de 100 dólares canadienses si quieres una buena cena. La carne es suprema. Tiene el cocido perfecto dependiendo del término en que la pidas y el acompañamiento de vegetales es muy rico. Los champiñones son aparte y te los cobran extra pero valen muchísimo la pena. Para tomar una Yukon Red es la opción pues es muy rica y el puré de papa es cremoso y sabroso.

Lengthy wait to get in and lengthy wait for drinks.. just a lengthy wait all around. Had to go to bar to get refills, and very very greasy lasagna. Server came to the table maybe 3 times total.. I would post a picture of the lake it left on the plate but that doesnt seem to be an option.

I ordered a lasagna. The food was excellent. A little bit pricey but great place. Cool ambiance and vibe. Perfect for tourists. I recommend!

Great food... Delivery subpar though. Need a second driver as a few of my orders have came next to cold. Wouldn't take delivery advice from a lady who ran their own pizza joint into the ground. Please get a second driver and please open for Sundays!!

The appies are probably the highlight. Main courses are okay. The vegetables reminded me of frozen mixed from the grocery store. Fine if you’re in a hospital or high school caf but at a $40 a plate spot; it’s pretty bad. The service is okay. The atmosphere is very nice. I’ve never had desert here so I can’t comment. Overall expensive spot for so-so food.

G&P is a bit pricey, but you will find good food. Nice atmosphere. Big drinks. The older red headed lady gets irritable fast when the restaurant gets busy. I imagine she is the manager, but I'm not sure.

UNBELIEVABLE PIZZA!!! AMAZING STEAKS!!! and everything else on the menu. Best in town. Great family run restaurant that I've been going to for years. Love the decor since moving downtown to Main st. Just stunning. Servers are always amazing. Treat you like family the moment you walk in.
