We had the Kalamari, Seafood Fettuccine and the Lamb Slouvaki... Seafood options were superb.. The lamb was ok skewer ont evenly cooked so some pieces of lamb over done.. Great ambiance, good service and friendly staff. Enjoyed my time here.

Worst experience ever. Never had a food this bland and over cooked. Server was very rude and just heard her talking about us in the back. Dont go there and waste your money. There are better options in town. I wish i can give them 0 stars.

Food was really good and for a good quantity. I can’t give more than 3 stars because of the incredible WAITING TIME. Arrived at 7:00, ordered at 7:15, served at 8 ! (2 plates of pasta). Then ordered the dessert (tiramisu) at 8:45 with a glass of wine. Served at 9:15 and they forgot the glass of wine in the counter for 15min. The restaurant was far from being crowded on this Wednesday night. In total we spent 2,5h there for 2 plates of pasta and 1 tiramisu. This birthday night was unfortunately a bit spoiled.

Service was slow and food was over priced. Food came out over cooked!! Well done steak came out when asked for medium. Could not pay with debit or credit. Has to run around Whitehorse to get cash to pay for meal and did not get a discount for the inconvenience. Will not be returning!!! If i could give 0 stars I would!! The manager was completely rude to her staff!

The food was very good but the service was so terrible I really could not enjoy my food at all. We were seated 45 min. After our reservations, waited 45 min more for appys, then waited 10 more min to get utensils. We asked repeatedly for water and never got it. The food was not worth it.

Sub par. Service was fairly slow. House wine was good. Chicken Slovaki likely the best dish they have. I had the New York steak and the flavor was good but the cut of meat felt like something I could get off a shelf, not at a butchers. I would expect higher quality for a $$6 steak at a fancy restaurant. My favorite was the side of vegetables, minus the potatoes.

I don’t live here but I travel through Canada a few times a year. I tried this place as the hotel said it was good. I was seated then after sitting for fifteen minutes or so they took our order. After 25 minutes of waiting for food a large party was seated directly next to us so that they were bumping into me as the walked by. I got up to ask for our food to be boxed so we may leave and I was told that our food order was never even made. I can’t see myself ever trying them again. The food might even be good but I have no idea.

Was so good! The lamb tips were very exquisite and savory. The mixed vegetables were arranged and presented very nicely and cooked Mediterranean style. The service was top notch and food delivered hot and very tasty. The foccacia bread was out of this world and I'm a very critical, picky eater, this place rocks! Great first class atmosphere, you won't be disappointed!

I stopped here on my last night in Whitehorse and couldn’t be happier. The entire menu looks fantastic and it took me a while to decide what to order. The Caesar salad is fantastic. The dressing is homemade, very bright, and very fresh. I settled on the Seafood Fettuccine for my main and it was wonderful! All of it was cooked absolutely perfectly and the sauce was incredible. So rich and flavourful. I wish I could give Giorgio an extra star!

Good service. Food was good as well. Very pricey but portion sizes are pretty large couldn't finish entire meal had to take rest home for leftovers. Server was very polite and provided good service that wasn't too intrusive. 5 stars of they have a bit cheaper options, maybe happy hour with some drink specials and food deals.

Giorgios Cucina in Whitehorse is a great option for dinner. We ordered several of their offerings which included the Arctic Char, rack of lamb and lamb souvlaki. The restaurant has an old school charm about it and classy atmosphere. Service was great and the food was amazing. Definitely worth checking out and 5 stars!

Locals recommended this restaurant to me. I would agree the pasta and service here is good. Candlelight added to the ambience. My Italian sausage and penne was delicious, just the right size for dinner but a little pricier than expected. I would come back here again for dinner.

Pending review My partner and I decided to come to Georgios for dinner to have a nice night out together. I ordered the artic char with a side of lobster tail and she ordered some pasta dish. We both ordered at the same time and she wanted gluten free pasta which she told the cooks about and when both of our dishes arrived it was not what she ordered. Then i was to sit there with my 2 lobster tails and the artic char while waiting for hers to be cooked accurately. After hers was served after she went outside after 10 minutes, i tried my lobster, which was over cooked (verified with my partner) and i tried the artic char which was very mushy. i talked to the waitress about the issue with the char. She said that it was baked in the oven, which was fine, but i wanted her to taste how mushy it was. Honestly it had no flavour, and she said "i will not eat someone elses food". After this i tried the green beans and they were very very crunchy and under cooked, i asked my partner to try them and she agreed. So in review, lobster overcooked, vegetables undercooked, artic char mushy and to top it off, in the vegetables the onion was like 5 inches long with a 2 inch diameter. Was i supposed to eat that? Honestly, it ruined my whole night. The food was ok but the cooks were terrible, didn't cook the food properly and screwed up the meal for my partner. Also, when I asked the waitress to taste the food to see if I was crazy or not, she immediately refused (like she was asked this question a couple of times). It was the worst restaurant experience in Whitehorse that I have had and Whitehorse has low standards. I would have rather had the Salvation Army serve me food then Georgios and i would have felt more comfortable giving the Salvation Army $140 for my meal. Both my partner and i have agreed not to come back to Georgios again. BTW i asked the waitress if she thought i was difficult and she said "i have a 8 year old, i have tolerance" and then walked away!!! i offered her but she didn't even try the food i was served! it was honestly terrible but then she complained that I was difficult! I will never be back actually and i have been in Whitehorse 10 years. They get 1 star for not screwing up the wine.

Took 90 mins to get the food after order. I had the scallops and prawns linguini and was not impressed at all. Besides the whole dish was not hot at all, Seafood was not fresh enough and pasta was cooked too soft. Also the sauce was not mixed well. Very disappointed. I think Earles serves better with a more reasonable price.

Busy, even on a Tuesday night! We didn't have a reservation, but luckily there was a free table. Though it was a full house, the waitress was on point with making sure we had water; she also kept apologizing for the wait (to order and to receive our food), but we didn't mind at all. Ordered the 8 oz sirloin and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The potatoes and veggies were tasty. Might have to return again during my stay in Whitehorse!

Souvlaki was seasoned just right, absolutely enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the rack of lamb and New York steak. Definitely will be coming back here. The Saganaki was also very good.

Overpriced. Really great food, but the ambience is a little too much even though it is a beautiful restaurant it just doesn't suit Whitehorse. I had the lamb souvlaki which was insanely good, everything was cooked to perfection but I found the vegetables a little bland. With that said $29 is just ridiculous to pay for 1 skewer and some vegetables, lamb isn't that expensive. Service was good but slow, although it was a busy night. Kids really should not be allowed in a restaurant like this if you are trying to go for a high class take on a Yukon eatery, no one wants to pay $80+ to go on a romantic date and have kids running around them.

Giirgios is the best place in Whitehorse for fine dining. It's food is excellent. Staff are courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, because it is the best place in town, it is very busy so make your reservations in plenty of time. One downside is that its gets very noisy so having a decent conversation with your dinner guest can be difficult at times.

Service was incredibly slow, and environment was very noisy. We were told we'd have a table for two, twice, and after over an hour we still sat the bar while they seated walk-ins. Food was great, although lamb souvlaki portion was kind of small for the price. Make a reservation, because they won't bother to remember who you are.
