Whether it is the soup of Wulong noodles or the tempura's noodle, it is a familiar taste. Asian tourists who recommend to travel, if you like Japanese food, or miss rice, noodle soup, soy sauce, firewood... Cuisine, here will not let you down! Went there for dinner with two friends. All of us were very satisfied. It wasn't exactly cheap but I think appropriate for the quality of the food and also the service. I tried the hamachi sashimi and we were amazed by the taste. Will come back again!

After visiting all of the sushi restaurants in Whitehorse, this is probably the best one. The seating is nice if you can get one of the private booths. The such is okay, surprising quality for this far north. The spicy California roll and the spicy tuna were my favourite. The dynamite rolls have asparagus in them which is odd and not common, but it wasn’t terrible. If you’re looking for a sushi fix while on a trip here this might just scratch the itch!

Sushi is good, I wish some of the sushi eased up on the deep fried and used grilled shrimp, crab ec.. instead. Possible an option to consider. Service was excellent both in dining and delivery (delivery driver stood out in his excellent attitude). A touch heavy on the sauces in my opinion but that's a matter of taste. Good food, great service!

While in Whitehorse for work, a co-worker wanted her favourite sushi place. My daughter is celiac and when my co-worker called ahead and asked about gluten free teriyaki chicken they made it special just for her!!!!!! I was very impressed with that alone!!!! I had assorted tempura, goma-ae and a dragon roll? Can’t recall the name of it exactly. Everything was delicious and thank you so much for allowing my daughter to have a gluten free teriyaki chicken dish!!! Her first one since being diagnosed celiac 6 months ago.

Oh goodness! Some of the dishes are way overpriced. Specifically, we ordered the Pork Yaki Soba (pan fry). The taste of it was no different than a poorly made chow mein and not to mention its tiny portion couldn't even feed a regular-sized eater.

Well the shop name is very Japanese, the food provide and offer also japanese. Sushi, using, tempura bento you name it but all people who work and cook is speaking Chinese ???? it's Chinese own. Not even one Japanese people i saw here inside not even the owner is from Japan a Chinese their.langauge is Cantonese the only thing is Japan is just the food and the restaurant name. Lol Despite all that confusion ten good serve is food, well Chinese people are good chefs. they learn and cool well japanese food, sushi well made, udon is taste great as same as Japanese made

The best sushi restaurant in town. Actually one of the best from the states and into Canada I have ever been to. Everything I have ordered for myself and dishes that friends have shared with me have been phenomenal. From the noodles to the sashimi, the tongue to the tempora, everything is beautifully made and so delicious. The owner and staff are the best part of the experience. If you are in Whitehorse you need to go and enjoy this restaurant.

I was in town for a month and I am very distressed that I did not come sooner! I will come back for more when I visit again. It was comfortable, they had so many great options and the food was AMAZING!! I had the korokke curry don, some kappa maki, and gyoza. It's so much better then anything I have back home in the states. Can't wait to come back!!

We were visiting from out of town and Asahiya was recommended to us by locals. It is a quiet restaurant with muted lighting and Japanese decor. It felt cozy and warm and the service was great. The wait staff was more than willing to answer questions which is good since the menues were not as descriptive as I would have liked. The food was great, the rolls were well made and very tasty. If you haven't tried it I have to recommend the pumpkin tempura, it sounds a little odd but I promise it's fantastic. Pricing was moderate.

My favourite sushi place in town. The sushis are great with fresh ingredients and the service is fast. I also think they have the best atmosphere/decor amongst all the sushis restaurants in Whitehorse. Only down side is that some sushi names on the menu are not translated so you have to ask a lot of questions if you want to understand the menu, but since I always get the same ones it is normally not too much of an issue. Great place nonetheless!
