This Restaurant belongs to the category of Jamaican restaurant.
This restaurant is hands down anazing. The food is always fresh and fantastic and the service is pleasant and quick. I enjoy the many vegetarian dishes (my Boyfriend usually has the Jerk Chicken or goat) as well as the music. I especially like the servers anyways happy and pleasant to deal with. Fantastic place.
TL:DR Fantastic food, comfortable atmosphere, great service. $51 for two sides, two entrees, and tip, worth every penny. We had the Goat Curry, Jerk Chicken, Beef Patty, and Deep Fried Plantains. The plantains were fairly sweet not-bananas, fried but not crispy. The Patty was unbelievable. flaky pastry, delicious beef, and the right mix of dry and wet ingredients. Surprisingly, as it was my first time eating legit Jamaican food, I found the Jerk Chicken to not be terribly spicy but absolutely delicious. Both entrees came with a Jonny Ball, a deep fried dough ball, thick and tasty. The Goat Curry was melting off the bone, flavourful, average spice levels. The entrees also came with a different side salad and rice with beans which complimented both meals considerably. The guy working the counter/bar was super cool, very easy to talk to and charismatic. I'll have a hard time not going in anytime I'm uptown.
Dinner
Excellent Jamaican dishes come out of this tiny little restaurant. Jerk chicken was very nicely spiced and the oxtail so moist that it pulled right off the bone. Nice cozy environment and very friendly staff. Definitely will be back when we're feeling the island urge again.
Awesome food, and awesome service, the two hallmarks of a top notch eatery. A cosy setting with authentic Jamaican music. Loved everything we ordered, and we pretty much ordered everything. A must visit place!!
First time here & we now love this place! We just left & the gentleman who served us had the best customer service! He should get a raise with how fast he worked & prepared incredible food! Will be returning!
Fantastic, authentic food. We even bought a bag of their Jamaican patties to go - they were frozen, so we could warm them up at home when we wanted one. The jerk chicken was also very good.
Wow. Stopped by on Canada day, late in the night and PG accommodated us, a group about 10 at last minutes. The food was absolutely great. Patties were delicious and of course the veggie roti, oh my, spicy and nice. Amazingly tasteful.
Amazing. Walked in and immediately treated like a friendly face. Vince helped us out and led me to order the oxtail, which is just awesome. It gets better with each bite, which is not something the happens often. Perfectly tender, deliciously fatty, and with a robust seasoning, this oxtail is a fantastic Jamaican plate that anyone in the area must have. Vince is an awesome guy and we hope that people everywhere come to appreciate Jamaican cuisine more and more.
It’s worth the trip out here. Probably one of the most authentic jamaican food places. I totally love the stew chicken. The rice n peas are always so perfect. They give cabbage and peppers steamed on the side! It’s to die for. Add a deep fried dumpling aka Johnny cake and you got such a well rounded deeeeeeelishus meal. Plan to stop by here if every you are out this way. They food is ready fast and take out or dine in you will thank me.
Excellent Roti, smoking hot sauce made by PG's. Great soups, Carob and homemade Ginger beer. Love the salad that accompanies entrees. Every time we come here they treat us like royalty. A White Rock gem!
Wonderful people, wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere. Every time that I walk through the doors, PGs makes me feel like I'm part of their family. I can't say enough good things about this place - we've been going multiple times per week for a year and have never had a bad meal. The jerk chicken is phenomenal - highly recommended. We usually throw in a few patties and some Johnny cakes as well. This is a special place with special people and I'm so happy that they are in White Rock.
The best and most authentic Jamaican cuisine in BC. So stoked to have found this place. Friendly staff and great vibes. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone.
Food is awesome with fair servings, really enjoyable atmosphere and polite workers. Will be returning whenever I'm in town.
Best Jamaican food. We drive from North Surrey to eat soon tasty food. small and cozy place. Very friendly staff. The jerk chicken has one heck of a bite but you can't help but eat it.
I went to a bbq here and it was great. The people here are fantastic and their food smells amazing. They thanked me for helping them out, and let me set my boundaries where I wanted them with a drunk girl when she was at risk of harming herself. Idk if that's too much information but I also kind hope they remember me. That's how it is, ain't it? Anyways, they're good people. So give them your money and time.
Drove an hour to come to this place as i am visiting Vancouver and it has a great rating. Showed up here and despite everything saying there were open, they weren't. You need up update your times of operation on everything because it's misleading
Meal type
Huge flavours. Mighty taste. Great VALUE for your dining dollar. Goat curry off the charts DELICIOUSLY wonderful. Modest price for excellence in authentic Jamaican CUISINE. Lovely menu. Daily specials. Friendly service. Clean tidy dine in or takeout as the name says it all. DON'T miss this one!
Soooo good!! Omg fresh and delicious ???? like best home cooked comfort food ever! The service was friendly and welcoming and they are respectful of the covid procedures. The cute tiki bar is where we sat and enjoyed a few bevies and some soul music while we waited for our incredible meal Definitely going back!! Next time l will take pics of the food before we eat it all ????
PG's is absolutely fantastic! The veggie roti and patties are like no other. Wonderful home cooked flavours, and very friendly people. Highly recommend.
I had a coupon book which offered me a 25% discount from the total bill if ordering from this restaurant. We ordered for take out goat curry, brown fish stew, oxtail and jerk prawn salad. The goat curry and the oxtail dish were delicious but small portions, (I wonder if that’s because they didn’t want to give me the proper portions because of my coupon), jerk prawns salad was big but overpowered by spiciness (I had asked for mild for all dishes and was told only the jerk chicken was spicy), and the fish stew wasn’t the best, was stinky fish. Total with discount came to $58 he said, I think we were overcharged and one of the orders messed up (had ordered one side to be rice&beans, the other-salad, the other steamed veggies but 2 dishes came with steamed bland veggies). If I had a great experience would be back to order more and pay full price but we’re a bit disappointed...
This is my favorite White Rock go-to lunch restaurant for either a jerk chicken wrap sandwich or what feels like a delicious home cooked meal (from a different country).
A gem of a place. The Chicken Curry Roti was delish! And the veggies surprise in it was a bonus. Their homemade hot sauce must be had as an accompaniment. Fabulous. I intend on buying a bottle of it. The jerk chicken wings were spicy (as I asked for it) and plentiful, for the price. Absolutely a place I shall return to sooner than later.
Excellent food. From the sauce, to the rice. The chicken was tender and fresh. The staff was really nice. Will come back again 100%
Absolutely the spiciest, most delicious ginger beer around. People are fantastic and so lovely. I usually just pick up but sitting in looks great too.
My wife and I ordered a chicken soup and jerk chicken dish. As a Jamaican I was totally shocked at how the jerk chicken was so burnt up and soup was so distasteful I had to throw it away. Wasted my money. Especially the soup was so raw. I really wonder if it's Jamaicans cooking in this restaurant. I surely won't be going back there.
I've been there before to eat wasn't the greatest vibe but in the last week.... Great food ???? great vibe and the new lady at the front is great brings a good energy and always smiling !!!! Whatever u guys did I like it !!! Definitely coming back again All though what's up with the patties ? Other then that I give them a 9/10
I love everything about PGs! Especially the new item on the menu Jerk Chicken poutine ????????????????
Ordered take-out, and a good place for a classic Jamaican fare jerk chicken. Wife loved the rice and even better when you mix it in with the spices. Will be back.
My spouse and I went there to have dinner and the service and food were more than we expected. We especially enjoyed the Oxtails, the best I have eaten in years ????????????????. Kudos to Paulette, the chef, she was very polite and our server was very helpful. We are definitely going back????.
Honestly, that was absolutely fantastic. I got the ox tail and it was so well seasoned and absolutely falling off the bone, and mouth watering, down right delicious. The man that was working made our food so quick and was so polite and had great customer service and a place with amazing ambiance. The place was super clean and well spaced out (especially in covid times). I recommend this 10000%... if you order a drink, prepare for something that looks like it’s for commercials lol I got the pena colada and it was so pretty, so delicious, and feels like I just walked off the plane in Mexico ????
absolutely worth a detour/the trip! some of the BEST oxtail i’ve ever had. amazing service and amazing drinks
It was my first ever Jamaican food experience in Canada. we ordered Jerk Chicken and oxtail platter and a fish platter and all the items were equally so soo sooo delicious!! I knew Jamaican foods contain hot spices but their food.. they are so extraordinarily awesome!! this is a family run little restaurant and the owner+chef is the mom, so the foods were totally heart warming like “mom’s food”. It’s been 2 hours and still I am in food coma!! If you are in Whiterock, please please pay a visit there.. It’s a tiny restaurant but their foods are 10/10!!
This place is THE BOMB!! the food hit different, you can taste every single ingredient and so much flavour that your mouth water that you just keep eating. The employee are super nice and funny. The music is so chill and such a vibe, I can definitely see myself high and chilling in this restaurant. 10/10
The food is really good. However, the service is BRUTAL. Particularly from the waitress Nicole. We sat outside at their high top bar outside waiting to have our order taken. She came and dropped off some water and asked if we were ready to order. We said yes. She told us she would be right back as she needed to go and get a pen and paper. 15 min later we went in side to see if she was ready. She told us she was sanitizing a table for us. When we went back in with our glasses and menu she snapped at us telling us she did not have a sanitized table. Brutal! So we left. This is the second time we've had a bad experience with service in here. PG's used to have such great service. If I was the owner of this establishment I would seriously consider the value Nicole is brining to the business. We have some other work colleagues that got up and left from here two weeks prior. Won't be back.
Went to PG's for the first time today and was totally worth the drive. Best jerk chicken I've had in BC! Great guys there too, very friendly and just the right amount of spice in the jerk seasoning and the beef patty was great! Wish I lived closer, I'd be there everyday!
Food is great, don't use their own online order system as I ordered online and when we go pick up, the shop keepers/cooks told us many items are not available and they don't know how to cancel it. We spent another half hour there try to sort out new order even though we ordered 2 hours ahead. If the items are not available, they should have contact me after receiving my order as my phone number is provided. Again food is awesome but system needs to improve.
I love this place. Everything is made in house I think which makes it that much better. The gingerbeer is phenomenal and the rum cake is amazing. The veggie roti is so delicious. I will always go there when I am in Whiterock, ALWAYS. The owners are really accommodating and friendly. I will recommend this place to everyone.
PG's saves me a lot of money. Here in White Rock sits a little bit of Jamaica that once inside the restaurant, mom's cooking aromas will have you believing you are actually there. No plane ticket required. The food that comes out of the kitchen is first class island fare. Check out the menu and everything is made in house fresh. Even the service is on Jamaican time. Grab a Ting, Red Stripe or Fresh Squeezed Ginger infused juices, sit back and listen to the music vibes. Di food authentic Jamaican it true!
Great atmosphere, very cozy. Friendly staff, just be prepared to stay a while if you sit down. I got the goat curry, it was delicious, my only complaint was the patty. The filling was great but the pastry left much to be desired.
First time in Canada and first time at PG's Jamaican Restaurant. The food was very flavorful we had the Jerk Chicken and it was amazing. Beware of it you are not used to eating spicy food (very spicy, but good) next time I come to White Rock Canada I will definitely come here.
My family and I have been ordering the patties here for years, and they're always amazing. Fam favourites are the vegetable and the chicken, and the roti is delicious as well for a full meal. Love the sweet staff here.
I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here the owners are friendly and very helpful. I tried the beef and chicken patties and the goat curry. The patties were delicious great flavours the goat curry was also fantastic.
Best Authentic Jamaican restaurant I've been to, truly a hidden gem within White Rock. The dishes served here are out of this world delicious, each bite a flavor explosion in your mouth. This is a spot I'll be coming to time and time again. The atmosphere here truly takes you away to the Caribbean leaving you to forget your in the city (though at least this gem is still by the sea) On this adventure I enjoyed their Oxtail dish, while my wife enjoyed their Coconut Curry Shrimp Bowl, in which we started with an order of their Johnny cakes with Mango Butter. Friendly staff, and phenomenal chef, I recommend Everyone to go here!
The GOAT CURRY was authentic Jamaican and delicious. Beautifully plated. The beverage of Sorrel and Ginger with fresh mint, ginger slice and blueberries floating was awesome. If your by yourself, there is seating on stools.
Their jerk chicken dish was delicious! It includes jerk chicken, rice mixed with kidney bean, a hotcake and slaw. I especially loved the hot cake! They also serve jamaican sodas, pretty cool
Been on my bucket list for a while. Great patties which we tried at the WR market. Penang still closed for lunch so ventured over to PG's. Oxtail yummy. Brown chicken stew adequate. Didnt love the takeout meal. Rather sloppy and uninspired. Love peas 'n rice usually but the salad mushed it all up. Next time just the main.
I really wanted some West Indian food and read the nice reviews about this place. Very nice indeed, I was able to taste a Red Stripe beer for the first time and food was very delicious, there's also a sassy Jamaican woman there (accent and all) that gives the place life. The prices are very hot though especially for the portions.
We showed up for lunch within the first hour of service - only one person was on staff to do all of the order taking, serving, drink making, and cooking. No johnny cakes, no cod fritters, no jerk wings. Poor staffing levels and not being able to order what we wanted off the menu made this trip a disappointment. We changed our minds about taking any patties to go because it seemed like it would be too difficult for staff.
Tasty food. I loved the piña colada I had there. Tony was awesome. Definitely will be back.
Got Patties and Johny cakes. Kids enjoyed all. And was a new experience for them
I find it odd that the most recent review is a bad one (Christina Winter - and yet she has only one review, so I gather she simply set up a profile to complain). This restaurant is a family run, hidden gem. The food is incredible and the staff are genuine, I have never had a bad experience here, nor has anyone else that I know. If you come here expecting fine dining, wrong place. Also - fine dining would be disappointing compared to the quality of this best kept secret in Surrey. And since when does someone named Winter have any expertise in island culinary experiences... ???? Check this place out. It’s amazing!
Came here after a few people were telling me about this place. Was a little disappointed and can't say I rush back anytime soon unfortunately! Saw they had some really cool yummy drinks, tried to ordered one got told No (because they apparently didn't have all the ingredients) kinda got the vibe she just wasn't in the mood to make slushy drinks. Debit Machine was down cash only which is totally fine things happen, we were the only ppl there aside from a few take orders but yet took forever to get our basic drinks, because our server was always in the back. Then told some other people who came in to get food they were closing early and couldn't serve them, where we got incredibly confused because she had not taken our food order yet, and asked if we should just pay for our drinks and go? Then she told no no you girls are fine, but rushed to take our food orders.... I went to order the Coconut Prawns but got told No can't have those, so we just ordered the Jonny cakes (very good) and some Patties which were also decent, and then low and behold the kitchen was open again?? And she told us we could order more food if we liked... Again very confused, so they had to "close, but open again" VERY strange vibes about this so then asked if I could get those prawns where she told me no because it was never a thing.... so my question why have these items on your menu if you can't get them? The while evening as a first time person there was just a turn off and very odd vibes.
Excellent authentic Jamaican cuisine. Friendly staff, cool relaxed atmosphere. You have to try the sorrel, laud gad, just the perfect amount of sugar and ginger.
My veg and chicken patties were cold in the middle as I ate more it was so cold. I got the chicken stew it was alright, but my rice was also cold. I’m sure their food is good based off the rating but I didn’t have a good experience unfortunately :(
Service
This place is fantastic. The staff are always friendly and talkative. The food is fantastic, and the drinks are just as good.
RICE WAS HARD. CHICKEN WAS NOT COOKED THROUGHLY. NO FLAVOUR/SPICE. Do not come here. So so so disappointed after driving 45 mins from Abbotsford.
I went here years ago and forgot to review, but I feel bad about that. Great patties, and I've had them in Toronto so my expectations weren't low. Great that a place like White Rock has a good Jamaican place
Had the oxtail poutine..had very little oxtail and thin gravy that settles to the bottom, cheese not melting...taste was good, execution needs work. Goat curry, chicken curry and rotis were great.
Truly delicious food. We ordered by 'phone and picked up. We ordered fish, chicken, beef wraps and the absolutely delicious rum desserts. We only noticed the restaurant for the first time this afternoon on our walk to the beach. The menu was very inviting and the children agreed to give it a go. I am delighted that we did. I have had one or two Jamaican patties in the past and they were nothing to write home about. The food at PGs is top notch. Great flavours. Fabulous salads. We will be back.
Had a fabulous experience, the staff was customer focused, the dumplings and jerk wings were tasty!! And the Carib libation rounded the meal out. PG's is THE place to go for Jamaican cuisine in Sunny White Rock... I highly recommend it. :-)
Delicious Jerk Wrap & the food quality is excellent. I also tried the chicken roti which does not disappoint. Plenty of food served here, usually enough for 2 meals. too good to share, methinks.
Absolutely delicious, so far I've only had the Jerk chicken wrap but its been a daily pregnancy craving since having it for the first time a few weeks ago. Highly recommend.
I love this place, authentic jamaican food. The Patty's are the best I have found anywhere outside of Jamaica and better than most I have had even in Jamaica. I have to stop for a patty everytime I am in the area. Goat curry is also excellent.
We have only eaten here once and plan on returning for sure!!! Owner super friendly and has great energy for what he is doing! Enjoyed all the flavours and want more!!
If you're on the look out for authentic and amazing Jamaican food (it's rare to even find a spot on this side of the river), you have to make your way to this restaurant. Had their curry chicken roti this afternoon and it was outstanding! My goal now is to try everything on their menu as quickly as I can. I will be back...and soon!
This is a wonderful place small nook to have a beautiful balanced homecooked tasting dish... Though i wish i grew up eating all those wonderful flavours. I enjoyed the different special that occurs at a cheaper price. When i tried the chocolate tea it blew my expectations out of the park. Was made from real cocoa and take at least 5min to smell it before you drink this salty, sweet, warm, delicious drink.
I Love their Beef patties. You can get it served hot or order the frozen ones and store it, eat it whenever you crave for beef patties.
The food was decent, but terrible customer service. Not sure if the server hates her job or the owner made a bad hire. Expect to be treated as if they are doing you a favor by serving/ cooking for you. Very unprofessional! I Will not be returning anytime soon.
Great home cooked food! Must visit if you want experience authentic Jamaican food in Vancouver.
Absolutely best restaurant for Jamician food ever . Very meticulously clean as well . It really feels homey every time I step in this place and it's a family Oriented business ran . Always a pleasure coming to this place and would rate more if there was more options then 5 stars ⭐️
I liked the quote on the wall it makes sense in a world which doesnt sometimes!!! Awesome food...great owner...aunty is an amazing cook!!! In from manitoba I enjoyed the food here. I like to check out jamaican restaurants in every city I go to and this one was so goooood!!!!
I came in for the patties, she brought me some soup while I waited, (on the house) was amazing. The patties delicious. My bank card didn't work (credit union) but she was so kind said to come pay when I can, no rush. She don't know me.that was trust and I'm truly grateful for the meal. I rushed to bank and paid. Thank you.
I absolutely love PG'S Jamaican in White Rock. The inside of PG'S is super cute and cozy, love the staff. You can smell the aroma from the corner, the smell is amazing and it tastes the same, excellent. My daughter and I have been dropping in to eat for about 4 years now, we especially love Friday Night BBQ.
this place is lucky their food is delicious because their portion size is absolutely terrible. ordered a chicken curry and it legitimately came with 1 piece of chicken the size of a mcdonald’s chicken nugget and the 3 little pieces that would equate to a 2nd nugget. plus a few tiny pieces of potato for 17.00. complete rip off. this is the second time we’ve ordered from this place, the first time the portion size was ridiculous aswell, spoke to the older lady who works their and she said that they made a mistake and corrected the issue, gave them a second chance, got screwed again. not sure if this is just their standards for take out because the portion size on some of the other reviews here are showing double what we’ve received both time.
Unbeliverable, little spot in White Rock. Had to be the best Jerk Chicken. Family is originally from Jamaica. Will have many Barbecues especially in the summer outdoors in the parking lot.
Amazingly tasty Caribbean cuisine and friendly staff... love this place, definitely appeals to my Jamaican heritage
Was there to pick up my Wish package. Benz over there is super nice and helpful will drop by and try out their food another time.
Always my favorite spot for Jamaician food. Tried the poutine tonight, my son had his usual oxtail. Service was back to it's usual high standards. For a few months there was someone working there that wasn't a good fit. That person is no longer employed by the restaurant, there are some great new people and some of the previous staff have returned. I'll always be back when I'm in the mood for a taste of the Caribbean.
The food was definitely delicious but had a little error with over charging my credit card. It will be rectified soon .
The BEST Jamaican Patties outside of Jamaica!!! Warm friendly atmosphere. Great authentic SPICY Caribbean food. Get thee here now. Billy the chef makes three different types daily FROM SCRATCH. Plus he’s interesting to chat with! Winter hours M-W. 11-7 Th-S. 11-9 Closed Sundays. Summer hours M-W. 11-8 Th-Sat. 11-9. Open Sundays. 2-9.
Best jamaican food ive ever had and kindest staff possible , cant wait to go back !
We just dropped by for a couple of beers! The owner was really friendly, had a good time!
The food is amazing. The ox tail is perfection and the Jerk chicken is to die for. My favorite is the coleslaw the best I've ever had. 5 stars The service was so inviting and refreshing, great people.
Wonderful homemade Jamaican food. So good! Oxtail was amazing. Lots of people doing take. Our family ate in the tiny restaurant Maybe 2 tables available during covid. We made a reservation. Support local !!
Have you ever had your food hug you back? This is THE place for authentic Jamaican food. It's simple, but delicious fare. I've been twice and feel like a part of the family there. I recommend the oxtail stew, or salt fish and ackee - make sure to order the Johnny cakes. Next time will be the jerk chicken with the full spiciness of the Caribbean. It's a small place, so try to go there in smaller parties, or call ahead.
The food here is excellent. The jerk chicken is ???????? highly recommended and the staff are funny and super helpful. A great little family owned business
I've lived in the area for years, but today was the first time we got something from there, and it was soo yummy. I think we'll do further explorations of their menu, it listed some very interesting sounding dishes. For now I'm hooked on their BBQ chicken though, I should have ordered more as it disappeared from the table in a minute.
I have been wanting some authentic Jamaican food. Curry goat roti. It was so amazingly delicious! Portion was huge! For sure will be going back!!
Amazing ... the service was so friendly....the pineapple ginger drink was so mind blowing ! I have had Jerk chicken in many many places and many many times...I can honestly say this Jerk chicken is one of the best I have ever had ! If your reading reviews to try and see if you should visit this place.....stop reading now and get in your cat and just go try it you won't be disappointed!
Hands down the worst customer experience of my life. The woman serving us was blatantly rude to our face and seemed completely annoyed at the fact that we were at the restaurant even though we were her only customers. No matter how decent the food is we will never be going back due to her service.
Fantastic!! My family ordered for the first time today, and it was delicious. Best fried chicken ever. The jerk chicken was so tender and flavourful, and the beef patty was fantastic. Loved it!!
I was warned that it was hot when I ordered...I told him I'm married to a Jamaican and he said "enough said"...the food was so good! I will definitely go back! Hot water and ginger was great! It is really good. Try the ginger beer and oxtail. You won't regret it. Extra characters. Extra characters. Extra characters.Extra characters. Extra characters. Excellent Jamaican pies. Lots of flavour.. perfect spice. Tucked away little gem... great snack to grab and enjoy a walk
Dine in
It was our first time here, and we ordered take out. Based on the online menu prices, we were highly overcharged. A dozen patties and 2 Jamaican wraps came to $52!? After waiting over half an hour for our meal, this was our result; The wraps themselves weren’t what we expected. The filling was more than 3/4 bland rice, barely any jerk chicken, which the flavouring proved- there was absolutely no heat to them, and very little mango salsa/salad. The patties overwhelming taste was that of oil- we ordered both beef and veggies patties, beef thankfully had a beef taste alongside oil. We were highly disappointed with the entire experience.
Ate here the other day and the spice level was out of control. Usually I’m able to eat it without being too bothered by spice but this time I had it I had chills, sweats, and was coming in and out of a dizzy feeling. Please eat with caution as recipe is not always the same
Really really good food but I think the waitress is racist. I went in with my family three times and the last time my partner went in on his own to pick up some food to bring home. The first time we went the waitress was so kind to myself and my son but pretty rude to my partner who is Filipino. She would cut him off while ordering. My partner is originally from Toronto and grew up around allot of Jamaicans so he was so happy to see a Jamaican restaurant in white rock(we recently moved from Alberta). When my partner would ask if they had some of his favourites she would say “just order from the menu” and “we don’t do just plain roti” and refused to take our custom order. I literally thought she was confusing my partner with someone she knew and had a falling out with or something. Each time we had gone she had treated my partner the same. Really rude and almost like she wanted to push him out the door, but always so nice to me and my son. This took place last summer and we haven’t been back since. My partner is so bummed out but his experience just completely turned him off from ever going back.
Casual spot - about 15 minutes walk from the water. Good selection of JAMACIAN food. The Chicken Curry had a nice earthy selection of spices and was very tender - not as much sauce as I would like / but I am more used to the Asian curries which have the added heavy sauce . The spicy prawns had lots of character and they bite back on the way down. NICE..causal spot to try!
