Though, I was very excited to try this place I was very disappointed. I bought a family platter which should have an assortment of their chicken, beef and lamb as advertised served over a bed of rice. They had said the order would have been ready in 20 minutes and was ready 35 minutes later. Their debit machine was also not working but I can understand that could be a server connection issue. When I got home to finally enjoy this meal with family, I was shocked at how minimal the food was. More importantly, upon tasting it felt very dry and did not taste as flavorful as I was expecting...DISSAPOINTED:(

First visit to this place. The interior was very clean and we were greeted as soon as we arrived in a friendly manner. We both tried a lamb wrap. It was delicious. It was well spiced with good flavors. I will definitely return.

Firstly of all, the compliment that i want to give is that this place is very clean. I would emphasize on the fact that the food is very satisfying especially the meat is very juicy and they have a-lot of variety of vegetarian food as well. Along with that the staff members are very hard working and helpful. The owner is very friendly and he is very down to earth.

This is my first experience with Lebanese food and it's so amazing! The employees are very kind and the food is delicious! I was also offered a cup of cardamom black tea while I wait which was very tasty. I'm definitely coming back again and again!

Even though i am not familiar with any of the Lebanese food recipes .... but honestly there food is amazing and they deserve 5 stars .. I always go there every week with my family and we cannot find no better place than mashawee... thank you to all the staff members and specially owner who always made us feel special ... he is so down to earth person .. whenever we go there he always offers my whole family tea without even charging us for that❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Obviously this restaurant desires 5 stars. I love this restaurant because of the food. This was my first time trying lebanese food and it was top notch experience. I had a chance of interacting with the owner and he was such a humble man.

As far as the food goes—comparatively speaking: Lebanese to Lebanese—it was good. However, the staff was quick to take your money, but slow to deliver the product. We had been forgotten about as the staff was busy cleaning the location and getting ready to depart. Very clean, yes, but forgotten about, no. Let’s see how the staff performs next time. What is more, in the time of Covid, disposable plates and cutlery was acceptable, but proper plates, cups, etc., would have been much nicer. The textured, divided, clamshell plates with plastic forks made eating an endeavour. Let’s see how the place does after Covid.

I was so excited trying our cultural food when I first saw their sign by coincidence, yet too disappointed when I did. It wasn’t like Middle East recipes anyhow, staff are so polite, but the quantity was so poor. As an advice: you guys need to choose your recipes carefully to keep running this business. One more thing, I have read some reviews, whoever replying to people must learn how to treat bad reviews as people chose you paid money to get good food and they have right to review. I hope it to be considered and good luck.

We ordered for takeout today and it was absolutely delicious!!! Wonderful service and was very impressed that they were able to accommodate my gluten allergy and also had vegan options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the Falafel Plate and the Veggie Deluxe Plate and they were wonderful. Highly recommend!!!!

Owner walks around not wearing a mask. Does he think he is better than his employees or the customers? This has happened twice now here. This guy doesn't seem to understand there are variants spreading around and is going to get his place shut down if he doesn't be careful. Not coming back here as clearly precautions aren't being taken. Also on both occasions I was there, there was a crowd at the front and the cashier was busy chit chatting in the back and was not attending to the customers. Food is ok. Nothing mind blowing.

Wow!! First time here tonight, and of the many Lebanese restaurants we've tried, this is definitely our favourite. Same owners as Crispy Falafel, but Mashawee is barbecue not shawarma based. I always thought I was a shawarma guy, but discovered otherwise tonight! The chicken (shish tawouk) is tremendously flavourful!! And the falafel is just right: crunchy, fluffy, with a balanced flavour. We will definitely be back regularly!

Chicken kabob came wrapped in burnt plastic on the plate and had been barbecued in the plastic as it was cooked into the chicken. The cook clearly forgot to take the kebab out of the plastic. This gave me flashbacks to eating meat cooked in plastic when camping with girl guides. This ruined what would have been a good meal. Very disappointing and disgusting. Will not be back or recommend to anyone. The food took 20 minutes longer but this is not a big deal compared to the plastic kebabs we got served.

Very friendly and kind staff. A Very neat and clean place - great location. We tried just the chicken shawarma and falafel; shawarma wasn't could be more flavorful (perhaps the ???? shouldn't be a part of it). Will try the beef or lamb skewers next time. What a cozy Lebanese restaurant in White Rock!! I love the decor and the outdoor space that they have. But more importantly, their food is delicious! Tried the Sujok Plate and it was beautifully made and was yummy. The babaganouj (eggplant dip) was also a great appy. There’s convenient parking out front and they have some seating inside and outside. It’s a great central location and a popular spot frequented by locals.

Kebab platter served with EMPLOYEE/STAFF abuse? Lets start by saying the food here is AWESOME its always fresh, great portions. and very reasonably priced. However, a couple times that I was here I overheard the owner/Manager screaming, yelling and talking down to the employees that worked here. I felt so embarrassed for them. At first I thought i was hearing things. I then went to the washroom which is right beside the managers office. I heard an employee being yelled at and in turn crying and apologizing to the manager. Usually the ladys that work here are so nice and have fun are talkative etc...this all changes when the manager or owner walks in to "check" up on things. I will not go back because of this I will not SUPPORT a business that allows its owners or managment to treat staff in such a horrible way. This is not the middle east this is Canada...treat employees with Respect.

Ordered shish Twauk and Sujok platters, Tasty food, good amount of food, hummus and garlic sauce are tasty. Perfectly cooked meat. The server was so nice as I told her I don't need any pita bread, she put some extra rice. Customer service is top notch.

Terrible experience. Tried chicken shawarma plater, halibi plater and lamb wrap. Lamb inside the wrap was over cooked/burnt. Food smelled bad was not fresh, taste was not good Worst wrap I ate in my whole life. Portion of plater was not appropriate. Place was clean and girl waitress who took order was helpful. This was the first and last visit. I Don’t recommend this restaurant!

Highly recommend this place and the food was amazing. I came with my friends they really loved it. I will be coming here a lot more and there are so many different varieties. The staff was very helpful and amazing. Keep up the great work guys .

Ordered the chicken plate and it was so tasty, everything from the seasoned chicken, rice and salad to the pita bread and hummus. Generous portions. Great service, 10 minutes for takeout. Friendly, efficient staff. Wife was impressed with the cleanliness. Going back for sure.

i am so short of words to describe how good the place is. Not only the food but the staff and the owner of this place is amazing. I am East Indian and i have never been to this place before and no idea about the food. But ,the manager (sumandeep) and owner (adib) they helped me throughout. They made fries ???? for me and i loved it. The best fries in white rock . The food is so fresh and i was literally shocked with the cleanliness. I don't like eating outside spcly because of Covid-19 but visiting this store changed my mind. The staff and environment of this store is so welcoming that you feel like home. I'd give 100 stars to this store and recommend it to everyone.

Waited over 30 mins for takeout then was told it would be another 30+ mins. Over 1 hr for 1 wrap is ridiculous especially when the staff don't even know the menu. Avoid unless you want to waste most of your day waiting for your order.

A very elegant place for different Shawerna (lamb, beef or chicken) wraps and plates as well. A few more options for vegetarians , falafel, eggplant and potatoes. All freshly made and a very clean restaurant. Both the place and the food are excellent.

Saw really good reviews for the this place about a week before I tried it myself. Their food is as good as everyone is saying. Their seasoned potatoes and eggplants were very well done. Very tasty. My only not good review is the potatoes and the eggplant was soaked in oil. There was so much it was literally dripping. Not sure if it’s supposed to be like that but otherwise it was very well seasoned. The garlic sauce was more buttery than garlic too. I didn’t taste any garlic in it. But again, everything else was very well done. I myself am a born vegetarian, my husband and mother in law both said they didn’t taste the beef in the “beef and lamb” mixed kebabs though. I will come back to Mashawee in the future for sure! The atmosphere is clean, the staff were very nice, customer service was great too. Overall great place.
