Went to Bin 101 tonight for tapas before a Blue Frog show. It is the perfect location for pre show dinner/appies. The tapas were great, and wine was 25% off because it was Thursday! Despite being quite busy, our server was very attentive to our needs and got our food and drinks out promptly. I will definitely be back for more wine flights!

Bin101 has a great menu, with so many delicious tapas and entrees to choose from! I have had the chance to taste most things on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. The live music at Bin makes the restaurant that much more enjoyable. The pianist/singer has been amazing every time I have been there! The professional, high quality service combined with great food and a great atmosphere makes it very easy to want to return. I definitely reccomend this restaurant !!

Restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the service was excellent. However, food is mediocre at best. Prices are outrageous for tapas plates. Essentially shared an appy for $22 between 4 people and had a single bite from the dish. Antipasto platter is basically from canned or packaged foods and is nothing special. I pretty much never write reviews, but felt this was warranted. Absolutely nothing memorable about this place aside from the feeling of being ripped off. Will never go back and will advise my friends to do the same.

Went with a group of friends on a Friday night. The service was excellent - the servers were really friendly and checked on us often. The food was good, although they had a limited selection of entrees to choose from. The major issue for me was that the atmosphere was really LOUD. There was a live piano player, but the sound of voices in the room pretty much drowned out all of the music. It was so loud that I had to actually lean in to hear the person sitting next to me. By the time we left my voice was hoarse from having to talk so loudly. There was a large group there for a birthday party at the time, so maybe that had something to do with it.

We wanted to eat here and we noted that their "posted hours" clearly stated that they are open until 10pm. My wife and I didn't want to miss the sunset so we decided to walk down to the beach and return to have tapas. It is a very long and steep hill to and from the beach. When we arrived winded and tired to this place at 9:30, we noticed a sign in the window that said closed. This was a complete slap in the face, not how anyone should run business. Per manager Scott, "Decision to close early on a slow night has already been made." His insincere apology and inability to recognize poor business practice and deplorable customer service is concerning, especially in a managerial position. Closing hours (including personal decision caveats) should be clearly posted on line and on front door. We are extremely disappointed and do not recommend this bushiness to anyone. I hope the owners take note on how their business is represented by individuals such as manager Scott.

Bin 101 isn't all Wine. The beer taps, tell a different story. In the Heart of White Rock, the food is good, the service was good and the parking is minimal. This local business just doesn't feel like part of the community.

The food was exceptional. The braised lamb tortilla and the lobster ravioli with the tiger prawns was just out of this world. They have a nice wine selection and cold beer, the service was also very friendly. An all around great experience, and I am definitley excited to try the rest of the menu items.

My wife and I came in on a Wednesday for jazz night. Recently moved to the area rock and will definitely be back. The server was attentive and very knowledable on the menu. She was patient and pleasant. The music was a great touch to an already enjoyable experience.

The food was terrible. The caesar salad tasted fishy. We asked for the steak to be well done. I said I didn't want the steak to be dried but I wanted to see very little pink. They brought out dried steaks with lots of pink. The mashed potatoes weren't whipped properly. I told the server but she said that that is how they make it. I had to ask her for some spice and black pepper because the steak was tasteless.This restaurant doesn't know how to make steaks, mashed potatoes, or caesar salad. Then to top it off, there greeter, who bartends as well, stands there like he hates his job and the customers. He doesn't smile. He isn't friendly. My server was very nice. I have ate here before a year ago, and the food was good. I don't know who they have in the back doing the cooking, but the quality of the food has decreased significantly.

Delicious!! We dined at Bin 101 last night, we shared 3 tapas dishes and a seafood pasta entree. We will definitely be back! The servers were dialed in, the food was scrumptious, be sure to reserve a table which is very easy via their website! Yummmmmm!

I was buying a drink for my friend and the bartender was trying to over charge for a drink that cost 5 something about an hour ago. I think he thought I was drunk. I waitress were awesome but the whole bar experience made not go back.

Friendly staff, good wine, good entertainment but the best dish was the Pavlova. Everything else was almost there but somehow lacked something. Flavors were somewhat muted but could have been so much more. As for Tapas...well again small portions of safe known quantifiable foods. Nothing really from the Iberian peninsula. Go here for a good drink, steak, or pasta.

Bin 101 has become a favourite of my wife and I. We love the platter for two and the cheesecake is fantastic. Samantha is the best hostess and her team go above and beyond to ensure everything is just right. Love this place!

The food here looks good, but we were limited as there's very few vegetarian options. Their menu has a "V" beside all the veggie options but they all had fish or seafood. I guess fish is a vegetable? We ended up having french fries and drinks. The redeeming quality was the piano player. He was really entertaining and fun to watch. I would've given three stars but the music earned them extra brownie points.

Bin 101 is an interesting idea for a tapas restaurant. We tried a number of appetizers, some of which were very good (lobster Mac), some of which were mediocre (calamari, roasted brussel sprouts), and others that were disappointing (satay, chowder). Service was pretty slow overall, but our server was otherwise cheery and helpful. They did lose our reservation, but luckily there were open tables and we were seated immediately. Our favorite part of the experience was the wine selection and live music. We will try this spot again and see if any of the other choices fare better.

I visited the restaurant with a group of girlfriends on a Saturday night. Even without reservations we were quickly seated which was remarkable considering the place was so busy. The server was excellent and the food and wine were fantastic. I love the crab cakes and the Pavlova for dessert.

Bin 101 is a fantastic restaurant! The service is incredible and the atmosphere is warm and inviting with amazing live singers on the weekends. I have had the opportunity to try most of their food and it is incredible. The menu has several delicious options. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Went last night for dinner (12 of us) , my first time at this place Loved the look of the place , clean washrooms & great ambiance Samantha was our server & she was on point with everything Great service! Food was amazing and fairly decent portions for a tapas bar. Only 4 stars because the AC kept kicking on periodically couple of our crew were in their 80’s & wore toques & winter jackets the entire visit. Other than that totally recommend this place

Nice place! Nice menu with some interesting choices, both foods and wines. Blackened Brussels sprouts and crab cakes were very tasty. I also had the salmon, but was over cooked and dry; try something else. Friends had the blackened chicken, apparently very good. Worth a future visit.

I had one of the best evenings in a long time at Bin 101 in White Rock. We chose to sit at the bar which offered us lots of interaction with the friendly and attentive staff. The evening began with meeting Samantha, who helped with a perfect wine choice. We then ordered starters: the Chef's Pomme Frites and Garlic Tiger prawns. They were both delicious! We shared one of the meals that was part of the Taste of White Rock Menu: Blackened Chicken With Pasta. It was a big dish, spicy and tasty. Dessert was the Pavlova which was gobbled up with gusto! So, so good! I was pleasantly surprised they had live music which added to our great evening. Thanks to everyone....we'll be back soon!

4 star food, but 2 star beer and wine selection. Classy decor and excellent service. We had the blackened chicken and sesame encrusted salmon and both are excellent. Next time we'll just eat here, then hit the Nano brewery a block away.

Dined at this delightful restaurant recently before taking in a play at the local theatre with friends. We shared a Bin 101 Platter, a Caesar Salad with some very nice wine with friends and it was absolutely delicious. For desert we enjoyed the Pavlova which was awesome as well. The ambience is impressive and the service is excellent. We will definitely be back again!

We were here with a group of friends on a Friday night in December. This is a very busy time of year obviously. There were 10 people in our party. We had a good time. The food was good, albeit overpriced. Our server was very good and we all enjoyed the piano artist. The overpriced food keeps me from giving this a higher score.

I never write reviews for restaurants, however my husband and I had a wonderful experience here on Friday evening! It was our first time at Bin 101. Our server Samantha was very kind and attentive. She made up a martini for me and it was delicious! I ended up having two. The Crab cakes were my favourite tapas. I saw there was pavlova on the menu so we will be coming back with friends next time for wine and Pavlova. Thanks Samantha for a wonderful evening.

My wife and I went to this restaurant for a celebratory dinner and the bartender made us best ice cold dirty vodka martinis! The waitress was personable and very knowledgeable about the menu. She was consistent in sanitizing her hands, the menus, and tables throughout the evening which made us feel very safe. We had the pavlova for dessert and WOW! A definite must have! We were greeted immediately and seated in a quiet booth. Staff were attentive and friendly. The garlic prawns and beet salad were both tasty and filling. Had the "big and bold " wine flight which was served in 3oz pours of 3 different red wines. All 3 wines were delicious and were discounted 25% because it was Thursday. All in all a very pleasant dining experience with excellent tastings of wine.

Not very impressed with the recent visit. Our 2nd time here and have to say treated badly enough we will not return. Let's srart with reservation, which somehow was not logged after we had called in. Then placed us at a table we did not like as we wanted to see the entertainment. We understand a busy place cannot accomodate everyone. The request was made to take a table that came open when 2 people joined another table. When asked we were told we could not have it. Nobody sat there for over 40 min. We also saw people sitting at the bar that discovered it and moved into that seat. Ghen asked to sit at the bar as it came open and again they told us Sorry. Are you kidding, Sorry 3 times. I get the last one as Sorry, your customer service to us was unacceptable. We still ran up a tab over $150 paid small tip then and left as fast as we could. Nobody noticed.

I had heard about this restaurant from friends and decided to try it on a Friday which was quite busy. The entertainment on the piano was excellent. The young man singing was quite exceptional from Elton John to Frank Sinatra. Service and choices of wine were both excellent. The paella main course was so tasty. Loved the chocolate cheese cake.
