This chip stand is very clean and orderly with a wide variety of menu options to choose from and quick service. Please keep in mind you can use cash or interac/debit to pay (excluding credit/credit+debit cards). The outdoor patio and indoor seating have been very well maintained since renovations and this establishment's restrooms are available to the public (including wheelchair accessiblity).

Worst place ever. The owners husband was threating my wife in french to beat me up but he didnt know she can speak french just because i parked my car in my parking lot that i rent next door. They screw over single mothers for their pay. Makes his employes initial for 30 hours and pays them for 20. We hear them talk bad about their customers all the time especially making fun of the fat ones saying they shouldnt be eating chipstand. He always gets in my wifes face when we park our car in a parking lot that belongs to our lamdlord and has his employees fill the lot up so when im at work and have the car my wife has to bring 300 $ of groceries, my daughter in her car seat and son into the house from the road. Complete ignorant people and the food is disgusting, potatoes kept outside where cats urinate on them. If i could give a zero star ratting i would

Was super excited to try because ive heard great things. We were there as soon as it opened, they took our order but didnt really look at us while we spoke, which felt a little awkward. Food was ok, pricey for what it was. Everything tasted like it was packaged or previously frozen (we had a pogo, a burger and a poutine). Personally I wouldnt return especially how there are so many chip stands in sturgeon, but perhaps we ordered the wrong items?

Went to Monique's to get my birthday dinner. Figured it's my birthday, I'm not cooking. Got the two piece Haddock and fries. The fries - perfectly cooked. There were a lot of them with my order and they were great. The fish - the batter was nice and crispy, and the fish was very good. I don't usually eat fish, but I thought I'd give it a try. Was well worth the money. Service - the people taking my order and delivering it were very friendly and polite. Very happy with my first visit, and I'm sure it won't be my last.

Service was good, folks were friendly and helpful. Food was satisfactory. We ordered the bacon cheeseburger, everything on it, and fries, since this is how we measure all places. Good prices! I really have to start taking pictures when we do this. Having wipes available for customers to clean a picnic table for themselves would be awesome. Just a thought.

She is such an Quinticential vibrant Beautiful, kind, caring and such a charming Business woman. Herold is Fabulous she has the best Full Fillet of Pickerel anywhere in the North Bay and in between Sturgeon Falls. Her prices are great and she is always willing to ask how you've been and loves you no matter what. She will either speak English or her mother tongue French. Her place of business is always clean and extremely organized with her staff always ready to offer up help of any kind. Live going once a or for my Fish feed. So worth it.. She is the Boom!! Love you Monique. She has been in business for over 25 yrs. I can see why.. Awesome lady. Her coleslaw is the best ... As well.

The poutine was good, but I think they put a little too much flour or corn starch in their gravy. It wasn't my favourite. My husband loved his double patty burger, and my daughter enjoyed their corn dog. You can eat inside. The place is very clean, and the service is excellent. I strongly recommend you try their funnel fries and ice cream for dessert. It's to die for! ????

I asked who had the best poutine in Sturgeon Falls and Monique's was highly recommended. I had the opportunity to be going through Sturgeon Falls 3 times in the last week so we did a comparison by ordering a poutine at each of the 3 most popular chip stands. Monique's was the best!! In addition to the well cooked fries, savoury gravy, and generous portion of squeaky curds, the service was fast and friendly. This will be my stop for poutine in my way through Sturgeon Falls.

EXCELLENT Experience! If I can give one piece of advice it would be to add the sautéed peppers, onions and mushrooms for $1 to your poutine. It made my dreams come true! The size options for the pogos are also a bonus as my small children were able to enjoy the small size. The staff was extremely friendly and offered masks for my children to use their washroom inside.
