The wings are great and always have been. A few months ago, the pizza was excellent but the last two times we have ordered, the pizza has been terrible. It wasn't even cooked through properly. We ended up throwing half the pizza away. Pretty sad since it was $47 for pizza and wings takeout.

Greasy food but good times... A bit grundgy but it's a little side bar to go to if you want some bar food or some drinks. The food took forever to get to us after we ordered. The waiter was rude to my friend because he had the giggles which I felt like shouldn't have happend even if my friend was a little tipsy. I do understand if we were rowdy and obnoxious but that wasnt the case. I think the waitress was a little nervous because we were a big table, she didnt have that great of knowledge on the food not sure if it was because she was new or not but she didnt have the best customer service. Then it took forever to get our Bill's because apparently she had left and told one of the other waitresses to go and give us our bills.

The wings were juicy and delicious. Drink prices very reasonable. Nachos did not have enough cheese or toppings and were not baked long enough. Seats were dirty and lights were too bright for a pub/bar atmosphere. Service was good. Overall an ok place to hang out but the atmosphere needs to be improved to get people to keep coming back.

Absolutely terrible service. I've been coming here for years & have had not one complaint until lastnight. Friends & I were there lastnight around 9:30-10:00 oclock. After sitting down we waited a good 10-15 minutes before anybody acknowledged us. It was busy so we shrugged it off. However, it got worse. Anytime we needed anything I would have to interupt the staff from socializing together. Which again, whatever but I did not need the attitude from your server Rea, specifically. After waiting a half an hr without a drink she finally came around and asked if we needed anything. I politely told her I was ok as I didn't want to wait any longer. She then proceeded to walk away without an apology or anything, as she walked passed our table again she then yelled " the waitresses can't read your mind!" Pissed off we immediately got our bills & admittedly tipped poorly due to the "service" we had received. As we were getting our coats on to leave, Rae than began to gloat about how she had "already gotten two $50 tips today so we didn't phase her" .......... This is absolutely unacceptable. Not only is it extremely rude but very unprofessional. I work in a customer service driven industry & I know if I were to ever talk to a customer this way I would immediately be fired. Because I work in St.Catharines, naturally I will recommend places to go for good food/drinks in Welland. I will not be recommending this establishment to anyone if that is how your guests are treated.

Went there today with my co workers for dinner and it wasn’t busy at all, as soon as we got there 2 tables left that were right beside us no tables are 6 feet apart and also no cleaning of tables just sitting people at the table a little after the people leave, service was really slow A few people were standing outside for a while waiting for their takeout and ended up leaving with out their food because it took too long, I get it if it’s busy and you can’t clean a table right away but with what’s going on right now with covid19 it should be a priority to make sure everything is sanitized and properly cleaned for everyone safety even their staff, after bringing it up to a server after they sat someone at a used table with out cleaning it all she had to say was okay.. I wouldn’t recommend going their during this terrible time because this is how the spread will get worse.

Horrible! I'd give no stars if I could. My mom went for dinner last Friday and had the clam chowder and a grilled cheese. She said it was good. But she woke up in the middle of the night super sick! So sick in fact she broke a blood vessel in her right eye! When we called to inform them incase someone else suffered the same, the manager called her back and was extremely rude about it saying none else was sick so it couldn't be our food. Going forward my mother and her husband will be taking their business else where. My sister and our boyfriends and I go every week but wont be going back. We will happily take our business where its appropriated!

Nice place for a drink or food. Best wings I've found in Welland. They are big and juicy. Flavorings are great and there is a good variety of flavor. Inside is decorated as a sports bar with a decent sized bar. Plenty of seating if you are looking for a table. Back room has pool tables. Nice outdoor patio for better weather days

Their food is very good, but the service was terrible. We waited about an hour and a half for our food. There was also people around us being loud and only drinking alcohol. They should be ordering food and have respect for other people around them. I don't blame the waitresses fir our food being Kate, but I do blame the waitresses fir not cutting off the loud people and telling them they had to order food and also to tell them to not be as loud. We will think about coming back there again. I would like the owner Ryan Nava to read this.

Haven't been to Tailgates for a while so thought I would go back, had always enjoyed it in the past. Big mistake, ordered the Swiss mushroom burger "The Hock" and received a cheddar cheese burger with some fungus on top. I have thrown out better mushrooms from my fridge!!! The meal took 40 minutes (I assume they were checking the back of the fridge for the mushrooms) and the fresh cut fries where NOT!!With out any more sarcazim a lot of the problem was the staff were being to friendly to worry about table customers ordering food, (didn't want to miss out on anything)and perhaps a shortage of stock.Like I said the food there was second to none, and I have been a chef for 35 years, but now,sorry, your staff are killing it......

I was having a massive craving for wings for a couple weeks but was broke. Got money and I was gonna get some. I chose here. Pretty big wings but not the massive ones and that's just how they should be. The hot sauce was awesome and buttery and my gf got a small pep pizza and I had some of that too. Really good pizza and wings. And a giant schooner of beer. Oh man. I was happy with the service but maybe they were nice cause I was with a woman. In the past I've been treated like a threat. That wasn't cool. But this time was better. It was like real customer service like they actually wanted my money ffs.

Been here twice and the food has always been awesome! Amazing value and portions! Just your typical local bar joint nothing fancy, but sometimes that's all you want! They also have outdoor seating. My favourite is their nachos, Bees flavour wings and their pizza is also great too! They really know what they are doing! The service is always nice even though there are a few mistakes (got barbecue wings rather than medium the first time and second time server told us a different flavour cidef from what it actually was). Bear in mind that food doesnt vome out instantly but food is still great and overall wonderful experience. Food: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5

Was in here the other day for a couple drinks. The bartender was very friendly and made great drinks and the other server was very friendly too. The prices were great too, definitely going to be my go to spot! Only reason I couldn’t give it five stars is because there’s no drink menu or a blender! Tailgates should definitely invest in a blender so they can make even more amazing drinks.

I have to say I used to enjoy going here and I have spent a lot of money and so have my friends and family. I had the most disappointing experience in any restaurant, bar, sportsbar etc of my life and I'm not being dramatic. I went in with my 2 year old for a dinner after some fun at zippies and I stood there for 10 minutes at a table waiting for a server to come talk to me so I could ask for a high chair as my 2yr old wont sit still and I couldn't relax until this happened. Servers went back and fourth not once making eye contact or even giving me a simple greeting with the assurance someone would be right with me. Finally I packed my little up and left extremely disappointed and upset as I know this experience had ruined this place for me and everyone else I know that goes there is completely appalled. Word of mouth will make or break small businesses in this town and I hope the owner realizes she must lost a lot of loyal customers and income. Robin was one of the servers as was the skinny brunette that's a server there as well. I cant blame the bar tender as she was by herself and running around. This place used to be great but the food and service has declined so much that its pathetic. The owner is so eager to sell the place that's shes totally checked out and could careless about her patrons or the state of her restaurant which is filthy. I highly do not recommend this place at all. Food sucks, service is beyond horrible, and the beer has been rotten last two times I went before this.

I called at 12:20am to place an order because their google page said they were open until 2am. An employee answer and greeted me with the store name, I said I'd like to place an order. She said that they're closed. So I asked "what time do you close because google says you close at 2?" and she responded "no, it says we close at 11." To which I responded, "no, it says 2am I'm looking at it now and I can screenshot it" and she says "okay I'm transferring you to the bartender." When I get to her, she asks how she can help. I say "I'm not sure, I'm not even sure why I was transffered, I tried to place an order, she told me you were closed and I asked what time you closed. I told her google said you close at 2, she told me I was wrong and then transferred me." The woman on the phone says she doesn't know what happened in the previous conversation because she wasn't there (I get that), then she says hours have changed cause of covid(I also get and assumed that) and then she said they're unable to change their google hours(that I don't get cause I see businesses updating it daily) but I say I understand that. I wasn't mad that the store was closed. I didn't need the call to be escalated. And all I would have liked was that employee owning up to her misinformation . Instead, she told me I was wrong and then when I told her I was looking right at it she transferred me to a bartender who apparently had no idea what was going on. Not impressed with their service.

We came on a Wednesday evening around 6pm. It was not busy at all. It was our first time there. We ordered the medium wings and the Canadian maple bacon wings. The medium were good. Maple bacon was very dry with a spice mix the consistency of sand. The waitress stopped by and asked if everything was good. I said I don't like the Maple bacon and could I get a sauce for them. She had already walked by to the next table and not listened to me at all. She never came back until we got the bill.

Great wings, good atmosphere. I think they could use a second pool table and new cues. They ask for a 10 dollar deposit that you get back for pool cues which I think is good because everyone destroys them. Also I think they should divide the pool table from the back room so if theres a party going on others can still play pool. Otherwise great place for friends to go and watch sports and have some wings and a couple brews

First time trying Tailgates tonight and was pleasantly surprised. I placed an order for pick up that ended up being 25 minutes late. I was given some incentives from the restaurant as gesture of goodwill without even saying a word that I was a miffed about the long wait. When I got home to enjoy. Well, that was an experience. The wings are huge and delicious. Very taste. We had classic pizza, which was fantastic as well, a little overcooked but still delish. My only disappointment was the white pizza. It was only mediocre and nothing to rave about. We will totally be going back again.

Ordered here tonight as we are moving tomorrow and everything is packed away. Asked for utensils didn't get any. Didnt receive the cesar salad we ordered. Ordered a poutine for myself (8 months pregnant so this poutine was needed) didn't have any gravy on it. Asked for no tomatoes on a sandwich and they put double on it. My husband called to get the gravy and the cesar salad that was missing delivered. Driver came with the salad, and some sort of chicken soup turned into gravy ( was suppose to be beef gravy) ..so disappointing and will never order here again.

The wings are great here. I usually go for the Tailgate wings, super crispy. Service is not perfect and sometimes takes a little time but the food is always good. It is a sports bar and the decor and atmosphere reflects that.

I'm writing on the behalf of my nanny. On Thursday March 23rd, we had a horrible experience. -waited about an hour to get a refill. -didn't get our food about an hour later. -our food was room temperature. Didn't feel like out food was fresh. -app. Deep Fried mushroom were gross. You can tell they were sitting. -our server Raeanne C. was absolutely rude and decided to yell back at my nanny saying we didn't order something. When it was clear. Everyone knew what we were ordering. Our server can not deal with the fast pace restaurant and doesn't have on what it takes to be a server. I personally been a server for 4 years and a surpervisor and I have never seen such terrible customer service. I get it.. it's fairly busy.. but the way she was and reacted was VERY unprofessional.

After hearing a lot of good thing I order from here tonight (April 20th) while I was at work. Upon recieving it I noticed the pizza had about an inch and a half with no cheese at all on it (thin crust) and very bad quality. I also ordered mild wings for myself and the wings came with absolutely no sauce, they were just deep fried wings. Was not happy with the food. UPDATE I ordered from there again tonight after a co worker suggested that I order them as medium extra saucy if I want them to be like wings I order from anywhere else. I ordered the wings as Medium Extra Saucy. I pick it up and AGAIN NOT ANY SAUCE. Very disappointed again!

Precautions for covid above and beyond. Our service was good but the kitchen was awful. Burnt Mac and cheese, over done burger and our apps came last???? Shame because they use quality products but poor execution.
